    Don't waste your time Jul 18, 2021

    By Dave Nugent
I spent over an hour downloading the app, confirming my phone number, writing out symptoms and answering questions about family history, waiting for a doctor to be available, all to be told "You should see urgent care!" Guess what genius, the whole reason I downloaded this app was to avoid going to urgent care. A bacterial eye infection is super easy to diagnose and treat, I'm not sure why they don't do their jobs. Oh, and of course, they still took my money.

Waste of time and money Jun 11, 2021

I paid for a single visit and am supremely disappointed in the service. Getting through the AI portion took forever. Then, when a clinician finally spoke to me, he took 5-10 minutes to send each message, as if he were doing something else at the same time. After that, even though the app clearly stated that my symptoms could be treated without lab tests, he refused to do so and ended the visit before I could reply. In the end, I spent nearly 2 hours interacting with K health to no avail.

I adore this app. It saves me so much money because I don't have to go to my primary care doctor as much. The symptom tracker is really spot on with what’s going on with you. I decided to start using the chat with a doctor feature as well (on my free trial now, but 100% going to pay for it when the trial is up). The first time I ever talked to a doctor, she diagnosed me correctly with an ear infection and sent me in some antibiotics that cleared it right up. The next time I used it was after I had a nasty stomach bug. It took two doctors to accurately diagnose and treat me, though. The first one told me it was heartburn (I hadn’t started my vomiting yet), then after vomiting for 12 hours, I used it again and they told me it was indeed gastroenteritis. They were more than happy to send me in some Zofran for my horrible nausea so I could go back to work. Nausea leaves me useless so I was so grateful to be able to talk to a doctor after office hours and get some relief. Also the wait time for me has always been less than 15 mins. If you’re not into prescription medications, no worries, they recommended several things I had already tried prior to prescribing me medication. Plus you must identify yourself before they give medications. Love this app & makes life so much easier. That being said, if it tells you that you have something emergent going on, go to the ER, just in case. That’s how accurate this app has been for me. Huge money & time saver.

It's not a bad app. It's probably good for people with anxiety and depression, but I feel I pretty much just paid a doctor to tell me to go see a different one in person, which I understand, some things just need an exam, but if the doctor looked at my answers for my questionnaire she would have known from the start if she could help or not. I feel that most of my anger is the fact that she only asked a couple questions, seemingly just to take up time before she told me to go see someone else.
  • Dental Abscess Jun 29, 2021

    By Krinda99
I’m 71 and have had dental issues my whole life. Eight cavities by the age of 6 (there was a corner candy store), to braces from junior high to high school because I had a terrible overbite. For that orthodontia, they pulled 4 molars and made me wear this horrible headgear appliance wrapped around my head. None of this Invisalign or SmileDirect. Two steel pins inserted into special braces in my mouth and elastic to pull putting constant pressure to rearrange the teeth I had left. I wore that thing day and night for 3 years. And rubber bands, too. All that hardware left me with multiple abrasions that later introduced decay, and over the years I had multiple root canals, veneers and a dread of dentists. Then I was prescribed Synthroid for hypothyroidism, which in turn depleted bone density and probably weakened my teeth further. All this is to say that I now have teeth breaking off at the gumline and I’m waiting til there’s so little left I’ll have to get dentures. So, today Dr. Baker read my profile, saw a photo of this upper molar that has an abscess and prescribed amoxicillin and a special mouthwash. I picked them up at the pharmacy a couple hours later. I haven’t seen a dentist for eight years, so getting that kind of response in person would be impossible. Believe me, this was a lifesaver!

I feel like this app is good to let you know if you don’t have a life threatening illness or injury. The way the app the works is that you start by telling the app about a symptom that you have (for example, a headache). The app then asks yous series of questions to narrow down your potential illness or injury and information about that injury or illness that you have. The potential illnesses that the app gives tells you you might have are based on percentages of other people’s questionnaire. For example, if you initially put in “headache” as your first symptom. The app will ask you a series of other related questions , such as “how you had any vomiting?” or “where is the headache mostly focused?” The app then tells you a list of illnesses or injuries and the percentage each illness or injury. E.g. “80% of the people that had similar answers to yours had a migraine. 40% had something else.” Etc... However, I noticed that the app doesn’t delete your past survey/questionnaires so it will ask you how your doing after you brought up a symptom to the app. I’ve been getting scam calls for the past few weeks and I haven’t been answering them. But when I decided that I would answer one, a telemarketer confirmed my name and address and advertised me a product that had to do with a past symptom that I asked the app. I made the connection and then deleted my past symptoms from the app.

I was having a typical female problem. Symptoms of BV/yeast infection. I really didn’t want to pay for an OB/GYN to run their tests just to find out what I already knew it was. This app asks you a series of questions at first regarding your symptoms then it gives you a list of what it “could” be. Which is nice. But then it gives you an option to chat with a doctor. You don’t have to video chat which is convenient. Just some form of ID and a selfie just to confirm that it’s actually you their talking to. The doctor views your symptoms and asks you questions. Btw, I didn’t have to wait long to get connected to a doctor. She kindly sent a script for an antibiotic over to my pharmacy of choice. Since I tend to get a secondary infection from antibiotics, she sent over a script for that as well. This was legit and was very easy to use. I just wish it let you know when the doctor was typing, otherwise I kept guessing if we got disconnected. But we didn’t. I picked up my medicine that afternoon. Not sure how it would work for throat and sinus infections though. I tend to get those a lot too. But I thought I’d let everyone know my experience my first time around.
  • Life Saver! May 24, 2021

During my vacation, I experienced a very familiar but very painful ear infection. It hindered the first few days of my vacation: I couldn’t talk, swallow/drink, eat, or touch my ear without the sharp, stabbing pains. This is when I finally decided to get it checked out at the AdventHealth Walk-in clinic. I walked in to be greeted by an expressionless and unsympathetic toned receptionist who rudely told me that I had to wait 4 hours. There was no way I could go another 30 minutes with the pain. I decided to go online to find a telehealth provider, and I found K Health. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this app is. It asked me specific and relevant questions and I was connected with a doctor within 10 minutes who further asked me questions. The doctor prescribed me my preferred medicine and was incredibly friendly, nonjudgmental, and quick. My ear pain was gone within the next 48 hours. Never have I ever felt so strongly about an app to write a review. Thanks so much K Health and its health care professionals for making it possible for people without insurance to seek and have access to affordable and quick health care (especially an ear infection!) Such a life saver. :)

I rarely leave reviews and this is the first time I went out of my way to leave one. I’ve had a sinus/ear infection that’s affect all the way from my ear to my throat for over a week and been unbearable as it started putting pressure on my jaw as well. I don’t have the money for an ED visit to get antibiotics and with COVID it’s impossible to get an in person appointment in a timely matter. I was skeptical... very skeptical. But after another night of less than 2 hours of sleep I spent the $19. Let me tell you it’s real, it’s worth it, it’s legit. It took about 4 hours to connect to a DR (but I also did this on a Sunday morning at 7am) but within 30 minutes of his first message he asked my symptoms, asked for pictures of the inflamed area and had me antibiotics at my local pharmacy ready for pick up. Luckily the inflammation has gone down greatly in less than 12 hours and point blank I’m so excited to get a real nights sleep tonight. If you’re suffering just spent the $19 and try it, I’ll never suffer for a week like I have again. PS I’m from a small town, I figured if anything he wouldn’t be able to get my script to my pharmacy.
  • Great for people with anxiety Sep 4, 2019

    By OrderlyBubble6
If you’re like me, you search on google when you feel anything different, and then google tells you something horrible, and it’s a constant spiral downhill to thinking you’re about to die. Well, this app does the exact opposite. This app will tell you the most realistic and likely possible thing you have. That means if you have chest pain, it will tell you that you probably just have anxiety. Now, if you do put in symptoms of an actual emergency, it will tell you that you need to go, which is great, but all the times I was worried about having something terrible, it just turned out to be nothing, or just anxiety. This app has really helped me when I’m worried about a pain or weird feeling in my body. It is also very helpful and very accurate when giving diagnosis about general stuff like colds, allergies, ear infections, and normal stuff like that. It will tell you the most likely, not the most terrifying like google. I definitely recommend this to anyone with health anxiety and also for anyone that doesn’t want to go to the doctor for something small.

A life saver during Covid. Helps me maintain a dialog with medical professionals and have my prescriptions refilled from the safety of home. I have chronic issues including mental health conditions and K Health does a more thorough job of checking in on my progress and dosage than my traditional primary used to! They are there for you including questions, concerns, and advice. I'll be using K Health for the foreseeable future! (After all this IS the future of health care!)
  • So happy I tried this app Apr 28, 2021

I am a female military veteran and getting in to see a dr for appointments can take weeks at the VA, even longer for women’s health related issues. With K health I was able to signup, list my symptoms, speak with a Clinician and have a script called in less than an hour. It was also awesome that GoodRX was included and added to the prescription automatically so that when I picked up my order I automatically saved money too. I was hesitating never hearing if this company before but I having gone through it today, I am happy I tried it. The app is also very well done and very intuitive. This is actually a smart and practical way to utilize AI technology while lifting the burden on our healthcare system for routine non-life threatening issues, while saving people money. Thanks for creating this app and service. Much appreciated! One piece of feedback... please consider adding American Units of measurement, as I and most people I know have no idea how many centimeters tall we are or how many Kilos we weigh without looking it up or doing the mast first ;)

The initial convo with the bot is a bit lengthy but I get it, it's to help facilitate the doctor before they begin chatting with you so they at least have an idea. My doctor was great, chatted for a bit, I told her my symptoms and got a prescription. All done within 2 hours. Would recommend this app.

    I Don't Feel Scammed Jun 26, 2021

My experience so far was exactly what I wanted. Script waiting at the pharmacy. No complaints.

Had a great experience. Wish I could get an export of my chat with the doctor though, because she gave me lots of suggestions. Also, there are some bugs like I can't actually change the units from kg to lbs and cm to inches, even though there is an option for it. Also some other things that were unclear that should've, and easily could've, been made clear... like while I'm waiting for a doctor to be assigned and join (almost 1 hour), what happens if my phone screen turns off or the app closes.

I used this for treatment of a UTI, PROS: didn't require me to have UA for diagnosis. It only $19!, compared to Urgent Care $200. I didn't have to leave home. Cons: Was going smoothly until after preliminary questions it just left me hanging. thought the program froze as it just didn't continue for many minutes. I figured it glitched and gave up, went and took my shower. After I got out of the shower it had loaded, so whole process about an hour or so. Maybe my phone's the problem tho, idk

If I could zero starts, I would do it! Beware, K Health does not a real customer service when you need them. Sometimes you need a support because the app or AI does not work as intended. For example, I have been having issues getting someone live online. My last Dr. left the chat without Rx and referral local Lab. And the app is stuck in the loop and won't let me to start a new session. Contacting support is useless. It has been 36 hours since my last email, but no response yet. Edit: Resolved
  • Great for people with no insurance, or limited options for treatment. Jul 29, 2020

The app was very automated and self-navigating which was good because I would’ve been confused on what to do. I don’t have medical insurance and rarely see a doctor and I just needed a prescription for an antibiotic and this app makes it easy to get one. I got the unlimited service for $27. Which seemed like a good deal. The app was really redundant at first when diagnosing the problem but just keep your symptoms basic and minimal you get through it fast. I had a problem when loading a picture, it wouldn’t stop loading so I had to manually click back to the text screen but the doctor was able to see it. K-Health also links you to a discount prescription app that saves you money at the pharmacy. In all I spent about $50 compared to hundreds oh dollars it would have cost me for a walk- in clinic, or ER visit with no insurance. So I was very impressed with the app. And will definitely be using it again.
  • Really Nice Service, but a couple recommendations Jul 17, 2019

    By syoung3402
Overall I’m pretty happy with this service/app but I’d definitely give it 5 stars if there were a couple improvements. When sending a notification that you have a message from a physician, if it’s actually a chat request/message, please call it a chat request or chat message so we don’t leave the physician hanging. Also, I was waiting and waiting and waiting in the “chat” when I got a notification of another message but there was no update “in” the chat at all. I ended up closing the app thinking the physician had left but when I checked on it later, there was in fact a new chat message. By the time I was responding, the chat closed and I had to reconnect with a physician again (still waiting) and I had to re-write my entire message all over again. It would be nice if we could “see” that someone is typing and real time chat updates

THANK THE GODDESS OF WHOLE DAIRY MILK FOR THIS APP! Lately, I’ve been having painful cramps in my upper legs. Not sure why, but yesterday, they became extremely painful when I was in the car. I look everywhere on the internet, but not much help. I saw an ad for this app and decided to give it a shot. It listed some things that may be the issue. Sometimes, these cramps feel like blood is clotted in my legs and it becomes unbearable. I begged god for forgiveness to be relieved of this cruel punishment, but my prayers were never answered. The only problem I have with this app is it recommends seeing a doctor. I have healthcare, so visiting a doctor wouldn’t be a problem. HOWEVER; the doctor would make me sit in a waiting room and make me read old magazines. I saw it in an underwater documentary once. Receiving lollipops from the doctor is propaganda and I shall not fall for it!

I am very happy with the service that I receive from this company. However I wish that once you complete your "triage" they would give you an approximate time to see your provider. You shouldn't have to wait by your phone all night..
  • Can be a waste of time Jul 25, 2021

It’s okay depending on what you use it for. I had a mild cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion for a few days. I decided to chat with a doctor to see if I could be prescribed anything to help me feel better. I answered the questions regarding my symptoms and was told I probably had an upper respiratory infection. I waited for a while but was finally paired with a doctor. He spent no more than 5 minutes with me just to say it was probably Covid-19 or something viral so I should just rest and take OTC meds. If the questionnaire thought I could have Covid-19 or something viral that they couldn’t help with, then why was I charged and linked with a doctor. I literally spent $20 bucks on absolutely nothing, besides wasting my time. That same day I went into a clinic and was given a Covid and Strep test, and I was negative for both. The doctor was puzzled why the online doctor was dead set of me having something viral he couldn’t help with, especially because I had zero of the classic Covid-19 symptoms and I’m vaccinated which is something I shared with the online doctor. Almost felt like he didn’t want to be bothered with me. Needless to say, I am definitely pursuing a refund.
  • If you aren’t in a rush and have a basic infection. Dec 30, 2020

    By TaliaKhrystian
TLDR: only use this if you have a cold or something, not helpful for any other sort of treatment. I waited almost 3 hours to get a text and then I finally got one during a 20 minute period I was unable to look at my phone, despite me waiting a long amount of time, I was only given 12 minutes to respond before being put back in the waiting room. It’s now been 2 hows since I tried to reconnect and I’m still waiting. If you have time to sit by your phone all day, or if you’re in a pinch this could be a good option for single time use. I did the subscription for 3 months and it is absolutely not worth it. Any time I needed help with any long term issues like depression or allergies I was told to see a pcp or a specialist(after waiting hours and hours to speak to someone) which was a waste. So if you have a respiratory infection, or a cold, that can probably help you out, but anything else seems to be a no-go

I purchased the $39 plan as a telemedicine project to review for my college degree. Once I hit submit to pay, it showed problem and asked me to submit again. Instead I checked my account first and the money had been taken out so I hit the back button. Next, I attempted to chat with a doctor. I have 5G and it timed me out and signed off the physician from the chat within fifteen seconds of my submission of my phone number verification. I am in Indiana and the physician was located in NY. It showed a difference of fifteen minutes from the time she requested my phone number until I responded but it was less than fifteen seconds on my end. After I signed out, it kept showing an error when I tried to sign back in. Also, although information for the application stated help 24/7, it is inaccurate. Response is not 24/7.
  • Friendly UI Aug 16, 2020

    By KYCYECIYBKTCHEX
The app is clean and runs smoothly. However, I have concerns with how much the “data-driven” aspect can limit results. For example, I have been experiencing Dysphagia and early satiety for just over two years now. Neither of those symptoms are available on the list. Instead, “symptoms closely matching” are suggested. This can be problematic because trouble swallowing (Dysphagia) and painful swallowing are not necessarily one in the same, and painful swallowing served as the substitute in this instance. I was asked a handful of questions and led to a potential diagnosis that made no sense. I also tried to put in more common symptoms, and those weren’t available either. Other apps I’ve used were more consistent with a completely different — albeit somewhat more concerning — potential diagnosis. I wanted a third opinion, and thought maybe this app would suffice, as it uses a similar UI. I was disappointed with the questions as they led me in a completely different direction. It didn’t even make sense as to how they arrived at the conclusion; it only shared that others with “similar” symptoms had “x” diagnosis. It seems there are a few kinks to work out. I would happily revisit once those are addressed.
  • Takes forever and a year to get to the point Jan 22, 2020

The amount of time it takes to figure something out or even ask the next question basically matches the time it’ll take to wait in an actual doctors office for a checkup. After every response or every other response I get a “Oops something went wrong try again”. And then it will start you all over and you have to play the waiting game ALL OVER AGAIN. It’s the most irritating thing ever. I assumed it was my WiFi connection so I switched to my cellular data and same exact issue. Now I can tell you for a fact my cellular data isn’t cheap, slow or lackluster so idk what’s wrong with this app. I want to keep trying but it stresses me out more than freaking googling the same side effects and getting told I’m dying from cancer
  • No help. (Updated) Apr 29, 2021

    By JennaRive
Used this app, was connected with a very nice dr. He gave me a RX I can’t even fill and have been unable to get ahold of anyone to get an appropriate RX! It’s been an hour and a half of calling every pharmacy in my area trying to find a medication that I was later informed is very uncommonly RX here and to try to get a different medication. Would be fine if anyone would help me, instead I’m out money, still sick, and extremely frustrated. Once I was able to get ahold of a different provider I was able to get my medications relatively pain free, however when I email this complaint to their customer service they didn’t really seem to care. Just saw that I eventually got it taken care of and was like “glad it worked out in the end” which I didn’t appreciate.
  • DONT USE FOR YOUR CHILDREN Jun 30, 2021

    By BramMama
Update: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FOR YOUR CHILDREN. My little one was out of town with grandma and can’t get to the doctor but has an ear ache and sinus infection. Was hoping to get some antibiotics to get her through the week until we could get her to the doctor but the doctor did nothing. Just repeated what we already knew and said take her to the doctor. Very frustrated and a waste of money. It’s a nice app for adults but the children’s side of it was no help and my little one is still miserable. I can’t speak for anyone else but for me where I live and for what I needed it was well worth the 20 dollars. You have to fill out a questionnaire as if you were meeting with a doc, provide your ID and payment, and then wait for a doc to get back to you. I had to wait less then an hour. She was super helpful! Explained my symptoms and what I was looking for and she agreed. Quickly sent over my prescription to my local pharmacy. Well worth the 19$ saved a working mom a trip to the gyno!
  • App has a lot of glitches and is not integrated well May 31, 2020

    By App Store reviews 5755
There is no reason that every time I need to speak with a doctor that I have to go over all of my history, medications, address, id, birthdate, etc. I have already inputed this information many times and It should be saved in the database. Also they need to allow you to upload images that are saved to your phone because often I need to take a picture with a better camera and not my iPhone because either the quality is not good enough or I don’t want to take a bad or embarrassing picture and have it immediately sent to the doctor! Also multiple times now I have not been notified when the doctor was ready so they left and it refuses to let me speak with a new doctor without going through the whole symptom checked and history process all over again!
  • Great If You Need A Doc To Actually Listen Then A Waste Of $ Jul 17, 2020

    By GTPA98
I thought this app would actually allow me to convey info to the doc on the other end. The info I typed when doc came online was treated as if it hadn’t been typed at all. Med prescribed I didn’t hv good track record with bc „that is was traditionally“ works. Went back and doc #2 was quick to cut me lose. Great concept if you fall into what the symptom checker recommends. If you want to spend money find an app with an actual doc on the other end either via phone or video call bc your info isn’t read with this group & if you had a problem w something u said wasn’t what worked in the past.......this isn’t the app for you. Great concept if you fit the Auto symptom checker. Not sure if there is an actual person on the other end with how things went. Too bad.
  • Broken Aug 12, 2019

    By QTxPI
I want to like this app, but it’s just broken now. The first time I used it, it told me I may have early onset arthritis (I just had inflammation from over exertion) and now the second time I go to use it for what should be an easier “diagnosis”, it’s legitimately just broken. When I went to add a symptom from the search bar, it tells me to use the A-Z list, when I try to open the A-Z list, the app freezes on a blank white screen. I tried restarting my phone, updating to the latest version of the app, and nothing helped. I then reinstalled the app, which it then told me I did not have an account. Overall, not great. I’d like to see improvements in the stability of the app since you’re not going to be using this all the time, only when you need it, it needs to actually work when you need it.

    By Théodore Pavlich
I paid for a single visit and am supremely disappointed in the service. Getting through the AI portion took forever. Then, when a clinician finally spoke to me, he took 5-10 minutes to send each message, as if he were doing something else at the same time. After that, even though the app clearly stated that my symptoms could be treated without lab tests, he refused to do so and ended the visit before I could reply. In the end, I spent nearly 2 hours interacting with K health to no avail.

“Robot” took 30 minutes! It was exhausting! Then doctor told me -“I am NOT an antibiotic vending machine!” What a waste of time and money! We spent over an hour to TEXT with a very very rude “doctor.” Now still sick and will have to try somewhere else. There are so many options to choose from. Don’t choose this one! Doctors on other sites will actually speak to you and call you NOT just sit and text! They never even called!

It took forever to answer questions up front. After 2h wait "Dr" made us TEXT answers to same questions we answered 2h prior. Then Dr wanted us to take pictures of the affected areas. While we were taking and sending pictures Dr decided to disconnect. They offered to chat with another Dr and said it would be momentarily. We waited 1h then got disconnected again. Then they offered another chat. When we agreed they said it will be in 9h! We tried to get to a Dr from 7pm-12:30am! No Luck! SCAM!

This is only helpful if you are experiencing something that fits their options, and there are many features that are missing from the application like the ability to undo or go back a step in several screens. Poor user experience design.
