  • Huge Saver Aug 27, 2019

I adore this app. It saves me so much money because I don't have to go to my primary care doctor as much. The symptom tracker is really spot on with what’s going on with you. I decided to start using the chat with a doctor feature as well (on my free trial now, but 100% going to pay for it when the trial is up). The first time I ever talked to a doctor, she diagnosed me correctly with an ear infection and sent me in some antibiotics that cleared it right up. The next time I used it was after I had a nasty stomach bug. It took two doctors to accurately diagnose and treat me, though. The first one told me it was heartburn (I hadn’t started my vomiting yet), then after vomiting for 12 hours, I used it again and they told me it was indeed gastroenteritis. They were more than happy to send me in some Zofran for my horrible nausea so I could go back to work. Nausea leaves me useless so I was so grateful to be able to talk to a doctor after office hours and get some relief. Also the wait time for me has always been less than 15 mins. If you’re not into prescription medications, no worries, they recommended several things I had already tried prior to prescribing me medication. Plus you must identify yourself before they give medications. Love this app & makes life so much easier. That being said, if it tells you that you have something emergent going on, go to the ER, just in case. That’s how accurate this app has been for me. Huge money & time saver.

Some glitches but still satisfied. Waited over 2 hrs but doc said it showed I only waited 6 minutes, not sure why. Once I got with the dr though it went smoothly. I have strep & due to the fever most clinics wouldn't allow me to come in w/o negative covid test or have to pay $300+ for a visit w/o insurance. Thankfully this consult was only $20 & I now have a an antibiotics prescription. Very affordable & as long as the wait isn't always 2+hours, very convenient. I will definitely use again.

  • Great for people with anxiety Sep 4, 2019

If you’re like me, you search on google when you feel anything different, and then google tells you something horrible, and it’s a constant spiral downhill to thinking you’re about to die. Well, this app does the exact opposite. This app will tell you the most realistic and likely possible thing you have. That means if you have chest pain, it will tell you that you probably just have anxiety. Now, if you do put in symptoms of an actual emergency, it will tell you that you need to go, which is great, but all the times I was worried about having something terrible, it just turned out to be nothing, or just anxiety. This app has really helped me when I’m worried about a pain or weird feeling in my body. It is also very helpful and very accurate when giving diagnosis about general stuff like colds, allergies, ear infections, and normal stuff like that. It will tell you the most likely, not the most terrifying like google. I definitely recommend this to anyone with health anxiety and also for anyone that doesn’t want to go to the doctor for something small.

I feel like this app is good to let you know if you don’t have a life threatening illness or injury. The way the app the works is that you start by telling the app about a symptom that you have (for example, a headache). The app then asks yous series of questions to narrow down your potential illness or injury and information about that injury or illness that you have. The potential illnesses that the app gives tells you you might have are based on percentages of other people’s questionnaire. For example, if you initially put in “headache” as your first symptom. The app will ask you a series of other related questions , such as “how you had any vomiting?” or “where is the headache mostly focused?” The app then tells you a list of illnesses or injuries and the percentage each illness or injury. E.g. “80% of the people that had similar answers to yours had a migraine. 40% had something else.” Etc... However, I noticed that the app doesn’t delete your past survey/questionnaires so it will ask you how your doing after you brought up a symptom to the app. I’ve been getting scam calls for the past few weeks and I haven’t been answering them. But when I decided that I would answer one, a telemarketer confirmed my name and address and advertised me a product that had to do with a past symptom that I asked the app. I made the connection and then deleted my past symptoms from the app.

I wish I could give this app 0 stars. I have used other telecommute medical apps that are far better. The app seems fun and informative, but the questions it asks are highly annoying. You can only choose symptoms in their very limited list. That right there will definitely not give you a correct diagnosis. Both times I have spoken to a physician, they have requested photographs which it makes you take through the apps camera. There is no way to use flash to take say a photo of your own throat. Also both times I spoke with a doctor, I was told I needed to go in and see a doctor in person. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the app? Now that I have used the free trial and realized this app will not work for me and I definitely do not want to pay for it, it is basically impossible to cancel or even get in touch with a representative from the company. I have emailed and called their 800 number. Haven’t been able to get in contact with a single human being. Now they have charged me. Talk about frustration. Save yourself and don’t even waste your time with this app. Doctor on Demand is 100% better.

K Health is far the worst Medical online doctors ever. I tried them for the first time the other day. I had a sinus infection and I went through there whole process on the app. The doctor started asking me further information and I replied. Then out of no where he just stopped chatting with me, we were at the point where he was gonna send an antibiotic to the pharmacy for me. I called and tried chatting with the doctor. No response at all. Tried calling k health. They say they monitor the voice mail you leave for doctors 24/7. But they actually don’t! Finally with no response back after several messages left the day before I left two more messages and then finally they called me back. I demanded a refund from them for the $19. It’s suppose to be refunded but has not showed up in my bank account as of yet. I have used other online doctor services before that are so much better and way faster at getting the medicine called into the pharmacy you choose. I would stay away from this one. Use call on DR they are a little more expensive but way less hassle with way better results.

False Advertising on Primary Care Plan 90 Day Refills - Bait and Switch. Both in app and website advertising claim 90 day refills for chronic conditions on the continuous billing plan. This sounds better than $19 for one visit. But after I paid and went through the exact same scenario as my last visit for my asthma the doctor said they only do two refills per year and she sent a 1 month supply this time. So why would I sign up and pay for something I cant use? This is misleadingand irresponsible

☆☆ Amazing, FAST, affordable & CONVENIENT ☆☆ This app seriously saved us at LEAST 2 to 3 hours of driving to urgent care, sitting in a waiting room, and wasting our Sunday. For $19, this option is the way to go. I downloaded the app, entered my info, chatted with the automated K Health bot, and heard back from a Doctor and had a prescription sent in to the pharmacy of my choice within 30 minutes. Didn't have to wait in a waiting room full of sick people either.. Will DEFINITELY be using again!

Two years ago I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and depression. I was given a prescription that ended up not being right for me but I could never find time away from work to be able to go in and see my doctor again. As a result I have been suffering with the symptoms untreated ever since. I needed a solution that I could access without having to request PTO for work and without spending $500 on another doctors visit. This app is amazing. I was not only given a symptom selecting format that was sleek and ridiculously easy to use, but I was given treatment that I needed access to NOW only having to wait 15 minutes to speak with a doctor. I received my prescription for anti anxiety/depression, resources on managing my anxiety, as well as resources for therapy and additional care options. It was affordable, efficient, yet still extensive and I feel like my needs are totally met. I’m so thankful for the care that I received today and would strongly urge people I care about to use this form of care.

    By K- Health #1
The app was very automated and self-navigating which was good because I would’ve been confused on what to do. I don’t have medical insurance and rarely see a doctor and I just needed a prescription for an antibiotic and this app makes it easy to get one. I got the unlimited service for $27. Which seemed like a good deal. The app was really redundant at first when diagnosing the problem but just keep your symptoms basic and minimal you get through it fast. I had a problem when loading a picture, it wouldn’t stop loading so I had to manually click back to the text screen but the doctor was able to see it. K-Health also links you to a discount prescription app that saves you money at the pharmacy. In all I spent about $50 compared to hundreds oh dollars it would have cost me for a walk- in clinic, or ER visit with no insurance. So I was very impressed with the app. And will definitely be using it again.

    By syoung3402
Overall I’m pretty happy with this service/app but I’d definitely give it 5 stars if there were a couple improvements. When sending a notification that you have a message from a physician, if it’s actually a chat request/message, please call it a chat request or chat message so we don’t leave the physician hanging. Also, I was waiting and waiting and waiting in the “chat” when I got a notification of another message but there was no update “in” the chat at all. I ended up closing the app thinking the physician had left but when I checked on it later, there was in fact a new chat message. By the time I was responding, the chat closed and I had to reconnect with a physician again (still waiting) and I had to re-write my entire message all over again. It would be nice if we could “see” that someone is typing and real time chat updates

THANK THE GODDESS OF WHOLE DAIRY MILK FOR THIS APP! Lately, I’ve been having painful cramps in my upper legs. Not sure why, but yesterday, they became extremely painful when I was in the car. I look everywhere on the internet, but not much help. I saw an ad for this app and decided to give it a shot. It listed some things that may be the issue. Sometimes, these cramps feel like blood is clotted in my legs and it becomes unbearable. I begged god for forgiveness to be relieved of this cruel punishment, but my prayers were never answered. The only problem I have with this app is it recommends seeing a doctor. I have healthcare, so visiting a doctor wouldn’t be a problem. HOWEVER; the doctor would make me sit in a waiting room and make me read old magazines. I saw it in an underwater documentary once. Receiving lollipops from the doctor is propaganda and I shall not fall for it!

  • from a hypochondriac Sep 4, 2019

As someone who has a lot of anxiety about health conditions, I experience small pains and aches and think I’m dying. This app is perfect for hypochondriacs to bring yourself down from “I’m dying” to “I’m probably dehydrated I’ve done a lot of traveling”. I only gave it a four because I think there’s room for improvement as with most apps. Some symptoms are hard to explain so it might benefit the app to have a large symptom input and then break it down from there in the chat instead of just adding on other symptoms you’re experiencing without explaining the biggest one first. It definitely deserves four stars for getting me out of my anxiety.

I have quite a few mental illnesses and have been searching for years for affordable medication. I found this app and subscribed today 2/27/20. The consultation was easy breezy. They need your name, address, DOB, state liscense or ID, theyll ask for a selfie, address confirmation, phone number, and will call to confirm name and DOB. Update: There is no way to report a doctor. What is to be done in cases of harassment or discrimination?

I purchased the $39 plan as a telemedicine project to review for my college degree. Once I hit submit to pay, it showed problem and asked me to submit again. Instead I checked my account first and the money had been taken out so I hit the back button. Next, I attempted to chat with a doctor. I have 5G and it timed me out and signed off the physician from the chat within fifteen seconds of my submission of my phone number verification. I am in Indiana and the physician was located in NY. It showed a difference of fifteen minutes from the time she requested my phone number until I responded but it was less than fifteen seconds on my end. After I signed out, it kept showing an error when I tried to sign back in. Also, although information for the application stated help 24/7, it is inaccurate. Response is not 24/7.

The amount of time it takes to figure something out or even ask the next question basically matches the time it’ll take to wait in an actual doctors office for a checkup. After every response or every other response I get a “Oops something went wrong try again”. And then it will start you all over and you have to play the waiting game ALL OVER AGAIN. It’s the most irritating thing ever. I assumed it was my WiFi connection so I switched to my cellular data and same exact issue. Now I can tell you for a fact my cellular data isn’t cheap, slow or lackluster so idk what’s wrong with this app. I want to keep trying but it stresses me out more than freaking googling the same side effects and getting told I’m dying from cancer

I am in the 3 month free trial right now and have decided that the doctors feature on this app doesn’t work for me, so I want to cancel before the app takes money from the account but the app has no feature to cancel free trial. I’ve submitted a request online about this issue, but it’s very inconvenient that there isn’t just a button that cancels your free trial. Otherwise the app itself is very good with identifying symptoms and giving a list of possible conditions and I do intend on using the app for that but I just don’t want to use the paid version with the doctors. The developers need to make it easier to cancel the free trial. :(

There is no reason that every time I need to speak with a doctor that I have to go over all of my history, medications, address, id, birthdate, etc. I have already inputed this information many times and It should be saved in the database. Also they need to allow you to upload images that are saved to your phone because often I need to take a picture with a better camera and not my iPhone because either the quality is not good enough or I don’t want to take a bad or embarrassing picture and have it immediately sent to the doctor! Also multiple times now I have not been notified when the doctor was ready so they left and it refuses to let me speak with a new doctor without going through the whole symptom checked and history process all over again!

I thought this app would actually allow me to convey info to the doc on the other end. The info I typed when doc came online was treated as if it hadn’t been typed at all. Med prescribed I didn’t hv good track record with bc „that is was traditionally“ works. Went back and doc #2 was quick to cut me lose. Great concept if you fall into what the symptom checker recommends. If you want to spend money find an app with an actual doc on the other end either via phone or video call bc your info isn’t read with this group & if you had a problem w something u said wasn’t what worked in the past.......this isn’t the app for you. Great concept if you fit the Auto symptom checker. Not sure if there is an actual person on the other end with how things went. Too bad.

  • Broken Aug 12, 2019

I want to like this app, but it’s just broken now. The first time I used it, it told me I may have early onset arthritis (I just had inflammation from over exertion) and now the second time I go to use it for what should be an easier “diagnosis”, it’s legitimately just broken. When I went to add a symptom from the search bar, it tells me to use the A-Z list, when I try to open the A-Z list, the app freezes on a blank white screen. I tried restarting my phone, updating to the latest version of the app, and nothing helped. I then reinstalled the app, which it then told me I did not have an account. Overall, not great. I’d like to see improvements in the stability of the app since you’re not going to be using this all the time, only when you need it, it needs to actually work when you need it.

  • Needs improvement Nov 9, 2018

I realize that this is not to replace doctors’ advice, but some will use it as such. This really needs a lot of work. There really needs to be a way to give current health issues and conditions along with medications, but that is not my problem. It asks about speaking to a doctor, but why would I want to speak to a doctor if I don’t feel that I have been able to give a complete list of symptoms? Almost all these symptoms could be a number of issues. So, for example, if I just had surgery and wonder if my issues could be related, I can’t tell the app I just had surgery. There’s not enough info given. It’s a great idea, just needs a lot of improvement.

I 100% knew that my arm pain was just muscle pain but I wanted to test this app out by using this as my example. After answering questions, it gave me three SEVERE HEALTH CONDITIONS that I possibly had...I know I don’t have ANY of these because this has happened to me before and my doctor had told me before that it was just soreness. I don’t know if the app is only for serious conditions but this could be very harmful because you could have a small illness and this app makes you think you’re going to die...
