Horrible service and seems like a SCAM May 1, 2021

They took my money but have not responded in 2 days. I had to go to walk in clinic the following day. Still waiting to hear back from them. It was a simple doc visit (I was at walk in 5 min) but I had to go to work late which I was avoiding so I used K health the night before and it was a waste of money and time. They are a shady business

Denied Antidepressants. They said I was "TOO Depressed" Mar 23, 2021

    By Nicole S
They denied me antidepressants that I have taken and been prescribed before! They said I am "TOO Depressed"! It's hard enough asking for that kind of help and finding time to get it or affording it with no insurance. Deny the wrong depressed person and you will end up with a suicide/lawsuit on your hands! Another kick in the nuts. Insult on injury. Complete HORRIBLE waste of time! Still needing help through some difficult times and still have no medication! THANKS FOR NOTHING!

I adore this app. It saves me so much money because I don't have to go to my primary care doctor as much. The symptom tracker is really spot on with what’s going on with you. I decided to start using the chat with a doctor feature as well (on my free trial now, but 100% going to pay for it when the trial is up). The first time I ever talked to a doctor, she diagnosed me correctly with an ear infection and sent me in some antibiotics that cleared it right up. The next time I used it was after I had a nasty stomach bug. It took two doctors to accurately diagnose and treat me, though. The first one told me it was heartburn (I hadn’t started my vomiting yet), then after vomiting for 12 hours, I used it again and they told me it was indeed gastroenteritis. They were more than happy to send me in some Zofran for my horrible nausea so I could go back to work. Nausea leaves me useless so I was so grateful to be able to talk to a doctor after office hours and get some relief. Also the wait time for me has always been less than 15 mins. If you’re not into prescription medications, no worries, they recommended several things I had already tried prior to prescribing me medication. Plus you must identify yourself before they give medications. Love this app & makes life so much easier. That being said, if it tells you that you have something emergent going on, go to the ER, just in case. That’s how accurate this app has been for me. Huge money & time saver.

I was having a typical female problem. Symptoms of BV/yeast infection. I really didn’t want to pay for an OB/GYN to run their tests just to find out what I already knew it was. This app asks you a series of questions at first regarding your symptoms then it gives you a list of what it “could” be. Which is nice. But then it gives you an option to chat with a doctor. You don’t have to video chat which is convenient. Just some form of ID and a selfie just to confirm that it’s actually you their talking to. The doctor views your symptoms and asks you questions. Btw, I didn’t have to wait long to get connected to a doctor. She kindly sent a script for an antibiotic over to my pharmacy of choice. Since I tend to get a secondary infection from antibiotics, she sent over a script for that as well. This was legit and was very easy to use. I just wish it let you know when the doctor was typing, otherwise I kept guessing if we got disconnected. But we didn’t. I picked up my medicine that afternoon. Not sure how it would work for throat and sinus infections though. I tend to get those a lot too. But I thought I’d let everyone know my experience my first time around.

I woke up at 5am with a toothache and my face was kind of swollen, so I immediately went online to try to book a same day appointment somewhere. Instead I saw this app and I figured I'd try it since everywhere was closed anyway. I started it at 5:30am and by 6:30, I had an Rx for an antibiotic from a doctor in Maine (I'm in Nevada) and I picked it up at 8 when my pharmacy opened. What a time we live in... Lol

I feel like this app is good to let you know if you don’t have a life threatening illness or injury. The way the app the works is that you start by telling the app about a symptom that you have (for example, a headache). The app then asks yous series of questions to narrow down your potential illness or injury and information about that injury or illness that you have. The potential illnesses that the app gives tells you you might have are based on percentages of other people’s questionnaire. For example, if you initially put in “headache” as your first symptom. The app will ask you a series of other related questions , such as “how you had any vomiting?” or “where is the headache mostly focused?” The app then tells you a list of illnesses or injuries and the percentage each illness or injury. E.g. “80% of the people that had similar answers to yours had a migraine. 40% had something else.” Etc... However, I noticed that the app doesn’t delete your past survey/questionnaires so it will ask you how your doing after you brought up a symptom to the app. I’ve been getting scam calls for the past few weeks and I haven’t been answering them. But when I decided that I would answer one, a telemarketer confirmed my name and address and advertised me a product that had to do with a past symptom that I asked the app. I made the connection and then deleted my past symptoms from the app.

I rarely leave reviews and this is the first time I went out of my way to leave one. I’ve had a sinus/ear infection that’s affect all the way from my ear to my throat for over a week and been unbearable as it started putting pressure on my jaw as well. I don’t have the money for an ED visit to get antibiotics and with COVID it’s impossible to get an in person appointment in a timely matter. I was skeptical... very skeptical. But after another night of less than 2 hours of sleep I spent the $19. Let me tell you it’s real, it’s worth it, it’s legit. It took about 4 hours to connect to a DR (but I also did this on a Sunday morning at 7am) but within 30 minutes of his first message he asked my symptoms, asked for pictures of the inflamed area and had me antibiotics at my local pharmacy ready for pick up. Luckily the inflammation has gone down greatly in less than 12 hours and point blank I’m so excited to get a real nights sleep tonight. If you’re suffering just spent the $19 and try it, I’ll never suffer for a week like I have again. PS I’m from a small town, I figured if anything he wouldn’t be able to get my script to my pharmacy.

  • Great for people with anxiety Sep 4, 2019

    By OrderlyBubble6
If you’re like me, you search on google when you feel anything different, and then google tells you something horrible, and it’s a constant spiral downhill to thinking you’re about to die. Well, this app does the exact opposite. This app will tell you the most realistic and likely possible thing you have. That means if you have chest pain, it will tell you that you probably just have anxiety. Now, if you do put in symptoms of an actual emergency, it will tell you that you need to go, which is great, but all the times I was worried about having something terrible, it just turned out to be nothing, or just anxiety. This app has really helped me when I’m worried about a pain or weird feeling in my body. It is also very helpful and very accurate when giving diagnosis about general stuff like colds, allergies, ear infections, and normal stuff like that. It will tell you the most likely, not the most terrifying like google. I definitely recommend this to anyone with health anxiety and also for anyone that doesn’t want to go to the doctor for something small.
  • So happy I tried this app Apr 28, 2021

    By pretenditsu
I am a female military veteran and getting in to see a dr for appointments can take weeks at the VA, even longer for women’s health related issues. With K health I was able to signup, list my symptoms, speak with a Clinician and have a script called in less than an hour. It was also awesome that GoodRX was included and added to the prescription automatically so that when I picked up my order I automatically saved money too. I was hesitating never hearing if this company before but I having gone through it today, I am happy I tried it. The app is also very well done and very intuitive. This is actually a smart and practical way to utilize AI technology while lifting the burden on our healthcare system for routine non-life threatening issues, while saving people money. Thanks for creating this app and service. Much appreciated! One piece of feedback... please consider adding American Units of measurement, as I and most people I know have no idea how many centimeters tall we are or how many Kilos we weigh without looking it up or doing the mast first ;)

Wow, super convenient and very affordable! Within minutes of answering several questions regarding my concerns, Dr. Parish called and video chatted with me and prescribed an antibiotic. I picked up my script and within an hours time I was set. couldn't be more impressed. Thank you so so much!!
  • Best thing to happen to healthcare! May 3, 2021

    By LDM37
Just a regular mom here, not a robot and not paid to promote this! I’m fact, I rarely write reviews! But I HAD to because this is the best thing that’s happened to healthcare in ages! I simply needed an antibiotic for a common ear/sinus infection and was able to talk to a board certified doctor to verify that’s all I needed, within minutes! She was so friendly and welcoming (new patient here) and very through. I don’t want to visit clinics or hospitals right now due to the pandemic, I’m also uninsured at this time. This was SO inexpensive and helpful! I got to stay home, receive treatment (antibiotic), peace of mind, and hassle free, in a very short time all from my living room! K health is fair, meaningful, safe healthcare at it’s best!!! No waiting in my car for 30 mins for the doctor to say it’s my turn, no crowded hospital, didn’t have to drag the kids out into the pandemic! I can’t stress enough how awesome this is for me and my family!! Go ahead and try it! It’s legit! Oh! They’ll even send the visit info to your PCP if you want! Incredible!

This app is garbage. They send you through a more or less endless chat with a robot with no potion of talking to a real person. And they also falsely advertise things they can help you with. I found them because they were advertising online prescriptions for insulin and when I got on the app they don't even have an option for diabetic care or insulin. If you do actually get thrown gh to a real person they don't listen to what you say and just tell you you should choose another option.

Every doctor I've spoken to has been wonderful and the app experience is mostly flawless. Any bugs I've encountered have been fixed through fairly regular updates.

I was charged for a visit before I got to see anybody, and because it's for a spider bite I was unable to get anyone to see me - I had to go through an AI that asks 50 questions unrelated, and unless I lie and say some other medical condition, the visit doesn't go anywhere. Now I have a charge for $20 with no doctor's visit. I do not recommend you bother with this one; go to someone who will actually see you before they charge your credit card.

Go to other teledoc app if you want help. This one requires you to go through multiple question and then does a pretty good job of a preliminary diagnosis. Mine was spot on to what I thought, which was a UTI. Signed up for dr. Appointment and notified about an hour later that a doctor was available to chat. No video, so could have been a bot on the other end as for all I know. Dr. Dave asked a few questions in chat, then said I would need labs done which would take 2-3 days to come back before any further analysis and before prescribing antibiotics. Very similar to other reviews on here. I declined and left the app. Went to Dr On Demand app and signed up and was video conferencing with a doctor within 5 minutes and went through some questions and then said he would send prescription for antibiotics to my local CVS and should be ready in about and hour. It was $49 vs. $19 for one time visit at K Health, but worth the extra cost for way better service and actually getting to see and talk to the doctor. K Health seems a bit shady and likely accumulating a lot of data from people given the amount of time it took to complete the questionnaire, which was a waste of my time and $19 as I had to seek help at another app. Avoid!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The dr made me cry and was extremely rude. On top of that he took over 7 minutes to respond over their chat for each response and ended it with " I can't help you, go get a physical " Very unprofessional especially considering I was just experiencing dizziness and needed some labs which website says they offer. Horrible Horrible experience

May 3, 2021

Incredible!

Two years ago I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and depression. I was given a prescription that ended up not being right for me but I could never find time away from work to be able to go in and see my doctor again. As a result I have been suffering with the symptoms untreated ever since. I needed a solution that I could access without having to request PTO for work and without spending $500 on another doctors visit. This app is amazing. I was not only given a symptom selecting format that was sleek and ridiculously easy to use, but I was given treatment that I needed access to NOW only having to wait 15 minutes to speak with a doctor. I received my prescription for anti anxiety/depression, resources on managing my anxiety, as well as resources for therapy and additional care options. It was affordable, efficient, yet still extensive and I feel like my needs are totally met. I’m so thankful for the care that I received today and would strongly urge people I care about to use this form of care.

I've been using this app for five months now and have been able to get prescriptions right away and for a very reasonable cost. So I continue to use it however I find this app can be very confusing especially for requesting antidepressants because this type of medication does not fall under the same "umbrella" as let's say antibiotics. I do recommend this service just wish it was a bit more user-friendly.

Good for getting prescriptions but not great for advice if that is what you're after. Got medicine for my asthma very quickly but when I went to ask about my cramps and back pain I was prescribed naproxen almost immediately without any extra questions. I guess that's fine if that's what you're after but it wasn't really helpful.

Pretty decent app. Will save you a trip to the doctor's office and some money. Also, you can get appointments fast. The ability to change any of your answers would be great, in case you made a choice by mistake earlier.
  • Great for people with no insurance, or limited options for treatment. Jul 29, 2020

    By K- Health #1
The app was very automated and self-navigating which was good because I would’ve been confused on what to do. I don’t have medical insurance and rarely see a doctor and I just needed a prescription for an antibiotic and this app makes it easy to get one. I got the unlimited service for $27. Which seemed like a good deal. The app was really redundant at first when diagnosing the problem but just keep your symptoms basic and minimal you get through it fast. I had a problem when loading a picture, it wouldn’t stop loading so I had to manually click back to the text screen but the doctor was able to see it. K-Health also links you to a discount prescription app that saves you money at the pharmacy. In all I spent about $50 compared to hundreds oh dollars it would have cost me for a walk- in clinic, or ER visit with no insurance. So I was very impressed with the app. And will definitely be using it again.
  • Really Nice Service, but a couple recommendations Jul 17, 2019

    By syoung3402
Overall I’m pretty happy with this service/app but I’d definitely give it 5 stars if there were a couple improvements. When sending a notification that you have a message from a physician, if it’s actually a chat request/message, please call it a chat request or chat message so we don’t leave the physician hanging. Also, I was waiting and waiting and waiting in the “chat” when I got a notification of another message but there was no update “in” the chat at all. I ended up closing the app thinking the physician had left but when I checked on it later, there was in fact a new chat message. By the time I was responding, the chat closed and I had to reconnect with a physician again (still waiting) and I had to re-write my entire message all over again. It would be nice if we could “see” that someone is typing and real time chat updates

THANK THE GODDESS OF WHOLE DAIRY MILK FOR THIS APP! Lately, I’ve been having painful cramps in my upper legs. Not sure why, but yesterday, they became extremely painful when I was in the car. I look everywhere on the internet, but not much help. I saw an ad for this app and decided to give it a shot. It listed some things that may be the issue. Sometimes, these cramps feel like blood is clotted in my legs and it becomes unbearable. I begged god for forgiveness to be relieved of this cruel punishment, but my prayers were never answered. The only problem I have with this app is it recommends seeing a doctor. I have healthcare, so visiting a doctor wouldn’t be a problem. HOWEVER; the doctor would make me sit in a waiting room and make me read old magazines. I saw it in an underwater documentary once. Receiving lollipops from the doctor is propaganda and I shall not fall for it!
  • Helpful for me Jan 10, 2021

I know it is t for everyone, but I lost my insurance back in March and still am not able to get affordable coverage. Doctor’s visits are so expensive but I was suffering severely with anxiety and depression (for many years but it got especially bad this year). I’m also the kind of person who has always downplayed my mental health symptoms when I was talking to a doctor in person. This has been a life saver. They send my prescription to me, and they’ve been working with me on dosage and have been very helpful. It can be tricky chatting with the doctor because it times out kind of quickly and you have to start over, but the benefits outweighs the negatives in my opinion.
  • Great minus one thing. Dec 23, 2020

    By BryannaNicole96
This app is awesome for saving money and getting what you need. My only complaint is that if you need a doctors note, you have to get it the exact same day as you spoke with a doctor. If you come back to the app even the next day to get one, they will tell you no. I had a female doctor get a slight attitude with me when I expressed my need for a note for work from the previous day bc I was going back to work the next day. She refused to even be empathetic or help guide me in the right direction. So just make sure you get your note WHEN you have your chat with the same dr on the same day. It could cost you your job.. they need to fix that issue.
  • Good App but there’s a big but Mar 26, 2021

    By calvin2345
I used it for the first time today and had access to a doctor fairly quickly and he sent my medication to my preferred pharmacy right away which was great! The only thing I didn’t like about the app was that they keep your credit card information stored and there’s no way for you to manually delete it. They also ask for a picture of your ID, which they also keep stored. Both of which could be used for identity theft. I emailed them regarding this particular issue but they have yet to get back to me. If it wasn’t for that, I would’ve given them 5 stars for the convenience and affordability.
  • from a hypochondriac Sep 4, 2019

    By Kristinauer
As someone who has a lot of anxiety about health conditions, I experience small pains and aches and think I’m dying. This app is perfect for hypochondriacs to bring yourself down from “I’m dying” to “I’m probably dehydrated I’ve done a lot of traveling”. I only gave it a four because I think there’s room for improvement as with most apps. Some symptoms are hard to explain so it might benefit the app to have a large symptom input and then break it down from there in the chat instead of just adding on other symptoms you’re experiencing without explaining the biggest one first. It definitely deserves four stars for getting me out of my anxiety.
  • Good but to a point Oct 11, 2019

  • If you aren’t in a rush and have a basic infection. Dec 30, 2020

    By TaliaKhrystian
TLDR: only use this if you have a cold or something, not helpful for any other sort of treatment. I waited almost 3 hours to get a text and then I finally got one during a 20 minute period I was unable to look at my phone, despite me waiting a long amount of time, I was only given 12 minutes to respond before being put back in the waiting room. It’s now been 2 hows since I tried to reconnect and I’m still waiting. If you have time to sit by your phone all day, or if you’re in a pinch this could be a good option for single time use. I did the subscription for 3 months and it is absolutely not worth it. Any time I needed help with any long term issues like depression or allergies I was told to see a pcp or a specialist(after waiting hours and hours to speak to someone) which was a waste. So if you have a respiratory infection, or a cold, that can probably help you out, but anything else seems to be a no-go
  • Serious Lag Issues Jan 5, 2020

I purchased the $39 plan as a telemedicine project to review for my college degree. Once I hit submit to pay, it showed problem and asked me to submit again. Instead I checked my account first and the money had been taken out so I hit the back button. Next, I attempted to chat with a doctor. I have 5G and it timed me out and signed off the physician from the chat within fifteen seconds of my submission of my phone number verification. I am in Indiana and the physician was located in NY. It showed a difference of fifteen minutes from the time she requested my phone number until I responded but it was less than fifteen seconds on my end. After I signed out, it kept showing an error when I tried to sign back in. Also, although information for the application stated help 24/7, it is inaccurate. Response is not 24/7.
  • Friendly UI Aug 16, 2020

    By KYCYECIYBKTCHEX
The app is clean and runs smoothly. However, I have concerns with how much the “data-driven” aspect can limit results. For example, I have been experiencing Dysphagia and early satiety for just over two years now. Neither of those symptoms are available on the list. Instead, “symptoms closely matching” are suggested. This can be problematic because trouble swallowing (Dysphagia) and painful swallowing are not necessarily one in the same, and painful swallowing served as the substitute in this instance. I was asked a handful of questions and led to a potential diagnosis that made no sense. I also tried to put in more common symptoms, and those weren’t available either. Other apps I’ve used were more consistent with a completely different — albeit somewhat more concerning — potential diagnosis. I wanted a third opinion, and thought maybe this app would suffice, as it uses a similar UI. I was disappointed with the questions as they led me in a completely different direction. It didn’t even make sense as to how they arrived at the conclusion; it only shared that others with “similar” symptoms had “x” diagnosis. It seems there are a few kinks to work out. I would happily revisit once those are addressed.
  • Takes forever and a year to get to the point Jan 22, 2020

    By Milahlah
The amount of time it takes to figure something out or even ask the next question basically matches the time it’ll take to wait in an actual doctors office for a checkup. After every response or every other response I get a “Oops something went wrong try again”. And then it will start you all over and you have to play the waiting game ALL OVER AGAIN. It’s the most irritating thing ever. I assumed it was my WiFi connection so I switched to my cellular data and same exact issue. Now I can tell you for a fact my cellular data isn’t cheap, slow or lackluster so idk what’s wrong with this app. I want to keep trying but it stresses me out more than freaking googling the same side effects and getting told I’m dying from cancer
  • No help. (Updated) Apr 29, 2021

    By JennaRive
Used this app, was connected with a very nice dr. He gave me a RX I can’t even fill and have been unable to get ahold of anyone to get an appropriate RX! It’s been an hour and a half of calling every pharmacy in my area trying to find a medication that I was later informed is very uncommonly RX here and to try to get a different medication. Would be fine if anyone would help me, instead I’m out money, still sick, and extremely frustrated. Once I was able to get ahold of a different provider I was able to get my medications relatively pain free, however when I email this complaint to their customer service they didn’t really seem to care. Just saw that I eventually got it taken care of and was like “glad it worked out in the end” which I didn’t appreciate.
  • Major Problem with Photos/Camera Dec 18, 2020

    By T.Cakes
The app works and looks great in terms of UI and convenience. However the camera implementation is awful... There is no way to upload photos from your library to show the physician, which is inexcusable for skin conditions that vary throughout the day and over time. Taking photos of another screen is not a solution. When you do actually decide to use the built in camera it is basically unusable. There is a huge delay/lag when the photo is taken, and there is no way to check the photo before sending. This means you may have to send multiple photos before you get a clear photo. This is completely unacceptable and it’s puzzling to me how it has not been fixed.
  • App has a lot of glitches and is not integrated well May 31, 2020

    By App Store reviews 5755
There is no reason that every time I need to speak with a doctor that I have to go over all of my history, medications, address, id, birthdate, etc. I have already inputed this information many times and It should be saved in the database. Also they need to allow you to upload images that are saved to your phone because often I need to take a picture with a better camera and not my iPhone because either the quality is not good enough or I don’t want to take a bad or embarrassing picture and have it immediately sent to the doctor! Also multiple times now I have not been notified when the doctor was ready so they left and it refuses to let me speak with a new doctor without going through the whole symptom checked and history process all over again!
  • Great If You Need A Doc To Actually Listen Then A Waste Of $ Jul 17, 2020

    By GTPA98
I thought this app would actually allow me to convey info to the doc on the other end. The info I typed when doc came online was treated as if it hadn’t been typed at all. Med prescribed I didn’t hv good track record with bc „that is was traditionally“ works. Went back and doc #2 was quick to cut me lose. Great concept if you fall into what the symptom checker recommends. If you want to spend money find an app with an actual doc on the other end either via phone or video call bc your info isn’t read with this group & if you had a problem w something u said wasn’t what worked in the past.......this isn’t the app for you. Great concept if you fit the Auto symptom checker. Not sure if there is an actual person on the other end with how things went. Too bad.
  • Nope Apr 25, 2021

    By Flippy44
I never write app reviews but here I am. Decided to use this app after a search online for pink eye care. My 11 year old had a really clear case that had gotten worse after the first day and I just needed treatment. The first time I logged on, they didn’t have a place to set up my child as the patient so after waiting in the queue, I find out I had been checked in as the patient and we had to start all over. Once we were finally properly connected there were LONG pauses between text questions from the doctor (up to 10 mins). I asked a couple of times if she was still there. After a look at a photo of my child the doctor determined it was allergies. We finally have up and just went to our local urgent care, where we got the obvious diagnosis and antibiotic drops. Would not use again.
  • Broken Aug 12, 2019

    By QTxPI
I want to like this app, but it’s just broken now. The first time I used it, it told me I may have early onset arthritis (I just had inflammation from over exertion) and now the second time I go to use it for what should be an easier “diagnosis”, it’s legitimately just broken. When I went to add a symptom from the search bar, it tells me to use the A-Z list, when I try to open the A-Z list, the app freezes on a blank white screen. I tried restarting my phone, updating to the latest version of the app, and nothing helped. I then reinstalled the app, which it then told me I did not have an account. Overall, not great. I’d like to see improvements in the stability of the app since you’re not going to be using this all the time, only when you need it, it needs to actually work when you need it.
