App constantly interfered with my internet connection, VPN would never stay connected, Pay what you think is fair but they give you no option to do that instead they charge you 12.99 and do not deliver.Would not recommend this app.I have changed the stars from ⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐ because of the stellar customer service. And also because once I got the bugs out, I found this application 👍

Unfortunately, I don't want to delete messages on the Facebook message app. So I stopped the free and or paid services( possibly they give you choices but I personally can't risk it). Those messages provides history of important data that I might want to access the future. You can not have great security, privacy, and convenience. Just my opinion. There has to be a middle ground and compromise depending on the needs of the user. I will try again after the next update. In the past, I stopped using the app because some things that I used were broken. I don't really blame the company, after all, it's hard to satisfy everyone and as I said still has convenience. The problem is how does the developer know what is important to the user without a complex set of questions and rules. Hopefully, they came up with a solution next update. It's a great idea and much-needed app if they can get the balance just right. As I said not easy to do. If you don't do things such as play games that require a Facebook link for certain things ( and you understand that they do a certain amount of tracking as payment, if you do ) then this is definitely the app for you. Perhaps I should have put that at the top.

Great app overall. Has a good amount of features for the important sites that deal with privacy issues. I would recommend for someone who cares about their online privacy. The only issue I had was with the tracker blocking VPN. It couldn't stay consistently connected. I ended up taking my pro subscription to the plus instead. I'm happy with it though. The ui an be a bit confusing at first but its nothing that can't be learned fairly quickly. 4 stars for me. Keep up the good work.

  • I like the app, but… Jun 5, 2020

It’s really a shame that features that used to be free are now paid. I have been using Jumbo for a while with little problems, and have always liked that it was able to easily clear my history from various services. I understand that people need to make money, but I don’t like that I now have to either pay for services that were once free, or (presumably) give up those services. Edited - Jumbo pushed a message out today stating that customers who were already using their services will have free access to Jumbo Plus (which includes some of the features that were previously free). I have adjusted my rating to 5 stars.

Not ideal for advanced privacy maintainers, especially not the Plus subscription, I'd highly advice most users not to sign up for $3 Plus because there's nothing offered on that plan that you can't already get for free (free as knowing how to do it, not as cheap). $9 Pro is only worth it because of dark web alert of your SSN, credit card, which works when they have the data from the hackers who are selling it in public. Critics aside, this app is a good starting point for beginners in privacy.

  • Love concept, but crashes on setup wizard Sep 6, 2020

    By Sarek
Really love someone is taking the time to make this issue prominent and front and center, however I could not ever finish setup. Your mileage may vary, but for a subscription this is crazy unacceptable - a website would not crash in this way and you don’t have that as you only get the app. Also, you can’t seem to add your email aliases so you only get to check one email and number (no google voice or home / voip numbers). After getting to the “Instagram” phase I noticed it stalled and eventually unexpectedly quit. Re-opening app resulting starting over at step 1 - LinkedIn. It crashes whether you skip or re-login with saved account. Rebooted iPhone X running latest non-beta OS (13.6.1). Same experience. Sigh. 64 GB free local storage. All I can say is not ready for prime time, but the marketing images and branding looks tip top.

Funny how it's an app to "protect your privacy" and yet the first thing they do is ask for your email address. One star and deleted.

It always says Jumbo requires an internet connection, but I'm connected to the internet. If I disconnect from wifi it works with LTE phone connection. It doesn't work with my wifi connection. At the beginning it worked perfectly but now it doesn't work, I uninstalled and installed again and the problem persists. Probably it's because of the permission with low battery I don't know.

App says you can archive deleted posts from social media to your device, but your data is only viewable inside the app. Screenshots of your pics are blocked too. No way to obtain your data for yourself without keeping the app on your phone forever. Change your passwords after using this and disable the app from running in the background. It's a battery hog. If you delete the app, your archived data is gone forever. This is incredibly deceptive and causes you to lose control over your data.

Jumbo doesn't offer cloud vault, I know that this partially my mistake, but so here's the story: I archived all my fb posts from stuff more than 2yrs ago, and got it all inside jumbo vault. One day I recon Jumbo was using about 1gb of data in the background I thought something was wrong then uninstall Jumbo, but then I forgot that I still got my FB archive there!!! When reinstalled they're gone, because Jumbo accidentally archived some of my best memories photos and I can't retrieve them, sad :(

  • Digital Footsteps in the right direction! Feb 5, 2020

    By KoaBloom
Im very big on digital privacy and security. So I use end-to-end encrypted messengers, VPN services on all my devices, password managers, and encrypted email services. Im more than happy to have found this amazing app, and with the upmost respect, It is valuable. So valuable, that I initially wanted this app to cost money on the app store to support the creators and developers. However, after finding out that Jumbo+ was an upcoming thing, I grinned with excitement in the middle of class, I got strangers looking at my weird now, but they don't understand how happy I was to know that even more features and privacy settings we're coming. I completed the survey, and I'm hoping that although the application is valuable, the developers will take into consideration the survey results and keep the price low! If I can pay for a 1.99 application that can assist me in keep my digital footsteps to a minimum, I would urge everyone I meet to buy it, without hesitation. Love the app, love the devs, love the initiative, and love what this app stands for.

Efficient! And easy to understand - exactly what an older person like me needs. I honestly feel more informed as to what data is being harvested from my phone and this app gives me the tools to deal at least with a good chunk of it. I had contact with Jumbo's customer service due to a slight hiccup in the app. They were the sweetest people and helped me out the same day. Very happy!

  • Amazed, believe that. Feb 6, 2020

    By Jimmy B, Music Junkie,,,
Skeptical at first, and read a lot of Reviews. 2 factor authentication can be a good thing BUT, when you feel sorry for a family member and lend them one of your older phones that’s also tied to your email account, NOT a good thing,,,NOT a good thing to do at all,,,. Still a battle but the (2 factor) is gone and deff, helps with the FB / Messenger thing as well. Mind & Body deff, at ease. Hope no ones going thru, a situation like this, and I’m very Sorry but this here, is (Hope) and the beginning for the way uP. Stay strong and keep your head up. This is the place to START,,???

I can’t stop raving about Jumbo. Seriously. Not only do I feel at ease knowing that my security online is evolving for my benefit, I also feel supported by the seamless nature of “in-app” actions. Jumbo has made it r e d i c u l o u s l y easy to change my settings, and I recommend it to all my clients who are eager to shift the way the internet interacts with their information. Thank you for your dedicated time, energy and brilliance in creating a platform that is out to cause good in the digital world. Keep it up! Here as an advocate in whatever way I can be supportive!

  • Some kind of problem has arisen — but Jumbo isn’t at fault Feb 10, 2020

    By Obsidian1111
Previously, when using Jumbo to scan Facebook today, I got locked out of my FB account - FB keeps asking me for my phone number ... which I had never given them. And FB keeps saying it doesn’t recognize the browser I’m using. I was locked out of my FB account. Basically, the problem is that FB will lock you out if you choose to use a VPN and you don’t want to give them your phone number. This isn’t Jumbo’s fault. They responded quickly to my inquiries and steered me to a help page, which meant I got back on FB just in time to notice a family member had died, far out of state. I commend Jumbo for helping me and I wish I could continue using their excellent app, but I can’t do without Facebook right now. All that said,I wish Atelier all the best. Thanks for trying to help us! Best regards.

Thank you for assistance. Kindly work a little to optimize the application so that I works better. It just keeps on loading when I select any of the Platform I added ( Scanning Google for hours). Also kindly add a way I can connect to my accounts without entering the password, it is little scary in today's world to enter passwords to a third-party.

I would love to subscribe to pro/plus but the price is quite expensive for 3rd world country citizen like me. Overall the app is great, make it easy for people who don't know much about IT to protect their privacy ; even without any subscription. Thank you very much. And I think it would be great if we can add multiple accounts for single service.

Great idea and a lot of useful features, however it doesn't support Android 10 dark theme. **but the most worrying thing is after the most recent update the app won't open, just force closes without warning. Now might be a good time to look for an alternative app to store 2f auth codes since stability is of absolute importance in case you need to access those codes in a hurry. Thanks for the reply, good to know on both points. All the best

App was working great now all of a sudden it force closes every single time I try and open up the app. Not sure what happened which stinks because I upgraded to the pro subscription for the extra features. Hopefully the developer can get on this issue soon so I can start using the app normally again. I will have to wait and see.

  • Excellent service but slowed iPhone and made other apps unresponsive Jun 6, 2020

    By BJCraig
iPhone 11 max pro. Jumbo did a great job analyzing and fixing threats and compromises to privacy. It also make my banking and credit card apps slow to a crawl or become unresponsive. Something also happened to the lightening port. It just didn’t work for anything but charging the phone. Deleting the app and rebooting the phone seems to have restored things. Sorry to have to report this. I really like the app but I can deal with what bad if did along with the good.
