It's my first time playing, but I'm enjoying the gameplay. I will be back to update once I am more familiar with the features. I really enjoy the various features, but I don't quite understand how to utilize the cards. I could use examples of the different instances in which I would use them strategically. Also, the game periodically glitches by freezing up the cue stick although the shot time ticks down to zero giving the opponent ball in hand.

Overall really good. Loving 9-table challenge. Really wish there were more opportunities to practice and play solo for free so I didn't have to download other apps. Ok now I gotta say, the cue ball is all of a sudden unrealistic and loose, increasing chances of potting it in star challenges, creating more revenue I guess. Not cool.
  • Really fun game. Jun 24, 2022

I was worried this would be a pay to win game, but actually it’s not that at all, although there’s plenty of ways to spend money if you choose. The mechanics take a minute to get used to, but quickly become second nature. I wish you could see a shot before calling it (there are no guidelines until the pocket has been called). But it’s the same for everybody, and I still play. A lot. I like this game.

Not bad for a computer game but definitely needs some work. Other reviews mentioned that we are actually playing against bots and that could be true. I know some "opponents" seem to have a definite advantage. Consistent ball roll or speed, bank angles, and scratches that shouldn't be scratches need the work. If you understand the situation and still play the game that's your choice. After having said all this I do enjoy the game but wish it was more fair.

Cool game. I love pool and it teaches me how to angle my shot's better. Well done. For some reason all the sudden. I can't see the pool table and the power bar. It's all black. I only see outer table. Star challenge I only see the ball, no stick. I've put a lot of time and purchased many things. Please fix this problem.

I love this game, it runs smoothly and is fun but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the fact they limit how many chests you can collect at one time and if you have 4 and aren’t able to open one yet than you can’t play till you can open one and it takes 2-4 hours at a time to open each box. So because of that reason only I’m taking a star off!

The game itself is pretty good. I wish there was a solo practice mode so I could better understand cue ball spin and how it effects things. Also, you are CONSTANTLY prompted to spend money on micro tranactions. It is playable without paying, but there is a lot of waiting. Edit to add: I hate how many popup offers there are. I'm clicking the "Play Game" button, and while clicking suddenly there is a pop-up and I just spent 2000 coins spinning a wheel I never wanted to use. Frustrating!

I love everything about this game though if I could change something it would be to figure out how the pool stick doesn’t make a shot before I’m ready sometimes it accidentally shoots before I’m ready to make the shot. Hope I explained it right however if you play this game it is likely it has happened to you just have to be carefully. Thank you

Mostly ok, but the power bar is ALWAYS IN THE WAY when a shot needs to be taken on that side (only 2 options to move the bar and not enough time during game to move it). I won't even be touching the power bar and it still won't let me adjust the cue, especially if it's ball-in-hand. PLEASE FIX THIS, it would be perfect 5 stars then. I'd also like to add the rules are not correct for 8 ball, if the 8 is pocketted and a scratch occurs, that is automatic game LOSS, not ball-in-hand.

  • Keeps loosing my award amounts and no advancement Jun 1, 2022

    By G-dock
I love this game, been playing it for weeks (maybe months) now, but I am deleting it because I have come to a point where I can no longer advance without paying. I’m willing to watch all the ads they want, but now I still have to pay. Also, and mostly, the app keeps taking my gem awards. I had over 800 gems (which are hard to come by), used them three times (20 at a time), then it showed I only had 60 gems. Where’s the math in that?? This is not the first time it has happened either. You have a great game here, but come on, keep a good tally of award amounts and let people advance in the game with watching ads instead of having to pay. You get your money with the ads, why should I have to pay?
  • Nice time waster Jun 2, 2022

    By Frawgster
The game would be so much better if skipping an “extra reward” from a chest didn’t require spending 20 gems. And this “extra reward” is more often than not less than 30 coins. In the context of this game, 30 coins is worthless. Sure, watching an ad will grant you this “extra reward”, but to watch an ad for less than 30 coins is completely worthless. UPDATE: Absolutely done with this failure of a game. While I was playing, 400 of my gems were used to buy some random item. I didn’t initiate the purchase, the game did. Uninstalling this garbage app.

It's statically impossible and borderline ridiculous how many times you pocket the cue ball. You can barely tap the cue ball but it takes off like it's rolling downhill and rolls completely across the table or changes direction to go in a pocket. It happens frequently in a star challenge when you have built up a lot of points. The game crashes at least once every time I play, usually multiple times. This has caused me to lose games because my shot time runs out.

Horrible. Takes forever to play with friends, kept saying they were in a game but they had just got game. Too childish with animation and way too much chest, chalk, upgrades that are incomprehensible. I didn't know what I was using coins for to upgrade cue as it looked the same. It was just too much going on and so slow running. I played 8 games before giving up and deleting it. My time is valuable and way too precious to spend another minute on this slow, badly constructed, cartoonish chaos.

Enjoyable pool mechanics, but the other aspects of the game are far too childish, cute, and cartoonish. Almost every screen load, there's another pop-up with some cutesy cash bundle it wants to sell you. Leveling up is confusing and complicated, you have to collect all kinds of cute nonsense parts to build better cues - be prepared to pay real money for the rare ones. Then, the ubiquitous bonus wheel scam - 8 spaces, first spin free. You'd expect even odds per space, right? Oh no. Not even close

The actual game play isn’t bad. But you can’t get there without half a dozen things popping up trying to get you to play a different mode or buy something or the biggest issue…watch an ad. There are far too many ads. I play plenty of other games and accept that is part of it so that the developers can make money, but this one is out of hand.

The developer has created a good time killer app. It is not much more than that though. At every turn the player is bombarded with drop down pop ups that urge you to spend money. $2.99 for chalk, really? You don’t need to spend money to play this game! They put money in a “piggy bank” and then demand you spend money to open it. Ugh! Like I said, it’s an ok time killer but not very realistic.

Quest: someone in your group always has bought quests and newbies get more points for logging in and fb so can't ever get the top spot. So many in game popups it's a little much. Collect so many of this for that, and that for this .. it's a bit overwhelming. The challenges are fun. Gameplay is smooth. The guidelines make it too easy though. Feels kid like.

New challenge too bank shots for me. I just started playing so I plan to update this after I had a chance to play for a while. Well it's 6/19/22 now been playing for several months now and yep I love the challenge of trying to make shots I have improved on. The people are very nice 👌 I do end up playing against the computer a lot they call them Bots, they make it hard to shoot but that is the fun.

Great little pool game with good mechanics. My beef is that the wheel spin is stingy AF! I've spun five times in a row and you get absolutely dick back. Also, it's sad how you're basically forced to buy your way through leveling up your cue sticks because we all know can't get that last legendary item anyway whatsoever in order to upgrade your sticks after a while. I don't mind spending money on a good game but shame on games that force you to spend all the time after a certain level
  • LOVE IT TOO MUCH Apr 29, 2022

Both my father and I love it so much and we played so much together, probably like 30 minutes and we both only got ads if we wanted some extra rewards and it ran incredibly smooth. This is my type of game. Have a good time reading this review =)

It's cool and everything's wonderful other than the high price legendary cards in the store. Instead of them costing 80,000 coins, can you drop the price to 10,000 coins? That's a reasonable amount. (Opinion) Make a game mode where you have to pocket every ball and each ball's number is its score. No multiplayer pockets. One turn, but if you clear the table without failing, re-rack the balls and continue playing and adding your score until you scratch. It could be an event to fight for the top!

I would give 5 stars, however does not tell you how to use the ball in hand when it calls for it. I see opponents use it all the time, how does it work and why is there no article or tutorial on how to do it?

So far enjoyable with appropriate skill players for me. I still can't find how to use the compass guide. And didn't find the directions for it. Also, time out on turns is too quick, I have a little trouble with lining up shots. And the acceleration bar can be in the way and instead of aiming I was shooting and messed up my turn.

Pool at its best simple and too the point. Pay to win is not an issue since you can have a maxed out pool cue stick, but if you miss you miss and you can play competitive and win against people 5 ranks above you. Two issues I have with the game is (1) the pricing is too high you have to pay 5$ minimum just to buy a basic emote. (2) more rule sets from the start would be a nice touch and not just 8-ball. Other than that if you love pool download this game and give it a try.

  • Great game but loses connection and glitches Jun 23, 2022

    By Uversetech
Regardless of signal strength game will either say you or your opponent has lost connection, allow you to sink your shot, then glitch and make you reshoot throw shot you just sank but with only 3 seconds left to shoot. Very annoying but other than that and the fact that it forces you to keep accumulating multiple, multiple rewards that it appears you can do absolutely nothing with, it is a great game.
  • Poor graphics and interface May 6, 2022

    By JP May 2012
This app looks NOTHING like any of its videos that advertise it. The graphics are poor at best - even the scale seems off (pockets look too large). And the table is unnecessarily small on an iPad screen. Oh, and you can’t use it in landscape mode, only portrait. Aiming takes some getting used to and it’s hard to even seen what balls you are playing in the rack (solids or stripes). This game is a poor example of what 8 Ball can be.
  • Competitors lose intentionally Jun 26, 2022

    By thedrake8
Really fun game. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I’m never prevented from playing until a chest opens, and I am able to advance without spending money, but it takes a long time to advance. My biggest beef with the game is that there are competitors whose job, it seems, is to intentionally lose. It’s so obvious when you see how they’re aiming that they are letting me win. It’s actually a little condescending, I think.
  • Very busy, constantly trying to sell stuff Jun 20, 2022

    By dissapointed in app
The pool game play is okay. It’s fun, basic pool. But it is so busy and cluttered in appearance. There are constant pop ups for buy upgrades, it’s very annoying. Too many rewards that appear useless, it’s a bit overwhelming. Basic pool, with increasing difficulty levels and opponents would be much better. Less would be more in this case.
  • Jun 17, 2022

    By The Internet
Good game, solidly built, but there are too many consecutive pop-ups!! Right away when you begin, there's a pop-up for the latest sale. Then there's a pop-up for the 8-ball wheel (which has mediocre prizes, by the way). Then you get to see yet another pop-up, occasionally asking you to rate the game. It's so annoying!!! There should be a way to suppress pop-up activity altogether!
  • Charge more Jun 27, 2022

    By guest51415233
Why does this game charge more than than what the charge says? The gold pass was $4.99 but I had a charge of $8 and something. Also, since when are you able to place the cue ball anywhere? It should be placed behind the line and you can only hit a ball on the other side of the line or kick shot.
  • Fun but need more instructions Jun 20, 2022

    By abuelax6
I’ve never played this game before not even in real life. So for me is totally new. Unfortunately, there are not enough instructions on how to play it and specially how to move or accommodate the white ball to my convenience. This takes away a bit of the fun part of the game.
