  • App is unnecessary for the test itself May 10, 2022

    By fjdibjem
The app works well, and you can actually skip videos (contrary to what most reviews here say) by moving the bar to the end. However, downloading the app is unnecessary if you’re only using it to take the test, as the test kit comes with written instructions. I got a valid result with this test, however I’m not sure how much one can trust the consistency of the test as it has you leave your test sample uncovered for 15 minutes, exposed to outside elements which could potentially hinder results.
  • Clear instructions, works fine May 19, 2022

The instructions videos were helpful; I appreciate that the video included instructions for both versions of the reagent solution, as I have received both versions of the test kit over time. I like that I am able to submit results to the CDC (I noticed this feature disappeared for a period of time, but I’m glad it’s back!). I’m not sure what happened to other reviewers who mentioned junk email, being forced to pay, etc. - none of this has happened during my use of the app.

Pretty good app, but I'm irritated and confused about why the app is allowed to repeatedly automatically increase audio to max volume for each video step it forces you to watch. Not only did I not have an option to skip or mute the videos, but every time I muted my phone volume it would be reset by this app to max volume for the next unskippable video, which woke up sleeping people in my house. Unnecessary and awful feature. Everything else does seem to work great though!

I don’t know what’s up with all these angry and bizarre reviews. I suppose the printed instructions might not be that great, but I never bothered to use them. When I saw there was an app I downloaded it, set it up, did a “dry run”, and then performed the test and submitted the results without issue. It’s not the world’s slickest app and the videos always play portrait, but they’re not “unskippable”. Just use the slider at the bottom of the video to skip to the end. I think many of these negative reviewers might be older or struggle with technology in general.

I love the idea of this app, with the video tutorials on how to use the test and the option to record your test results to create a scannable QR code and create a test result history. Unfortunately the app is glitchy and closes out when I try to use certain functions which limits its usefulness. I am not able to view my test history or add information for a family member. Updated to 5 stars on 3/19/22 because the latest update has fixed all of the issues I experienced. Now it is a great app!

The app is easy to use and instructions are clear and pretty well done except for a couple minor problems. I could not email the test results because there is no SEND button anywhere (maybe it’s hidden under the keyboard?). Another minor issue is you have to keep rotating the phone between videos which are in landscape orientation and the Next button which is in portrait orientation. The Next buttons in between the videos should be in landscape.

Not great. I have a seasonal allergy and the recent weather brought it on. So, negative. The test set 1 and 2 was confusing. Tearing the vile open left an edge in the spout. I lost 2 or 3 drops. Just had enough for a valid test. Next time I'll use a scissor and cut an angular spout. Nothing gets lost. Video was weak. Should show an actual person administrating the test. I have big hands. Well, too late 2 change anything now.

At the end of the test it optionally sends results to the CDC. I accidentally sent the wrong result for me (because the field was already filled in from having sent the result for another person just before and I didn't notice until after I hit "send") and I can't figure out how to correct the incorrect result that I sent to the CDC. Otherwise the app and video were helpful in leading us through the test-taking.

Great product and APP. Easy to use and understand. Walks you through the process. Sets a timer and provides documented results that you can share with your medical provider and/or the CDC if you choose to. Other options to share as well. I find this great for sharing with my employer. You can also do testing groups! Great options for testing and sharing among your group. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Very fast and easy to use test kit. Not tech savvy so it was important to get it done right. My teenager and I followed the video steps and it was good steps can automatically repeat if you are not quick enough opening package or not understanding vial liquid levels. And having a timer attached was genius! Very modern. Highly recommend this app! 👌

The test kit came with a perfectly cromulent set of instructions in the box, which we followed. At the end of our testing cycle, we opened the app only to find you have to watch un-skippable videos for each step and then run out a 15 minute timer before it will let you upload your results. On the perfectly understandable instructions printed on the paper that came in the box, it warns that if you wait till more than 30 minutes after the test you may get a false positive. But if you didn’t do the test 100% in tandem with this brilliant app, there is literally no way to not finish more than 30 minutes in. You guys really need to make the videos and the timer skippable.

You go on the website to schedule an appointment. The link doesn’t work to check appointment availability, but the link works to take your money. Then, they direct you here to download the app, but it is only for the self test at home. I used Chrome, followed the instructions, but there is no way to check available slots until you pay. The tests are also made in China and the help desk is only open M-F 8:30-5 so you are screwed if you need help on the weekend. In Europe, I can walk 3 minutes to a Covid test trailer, pay 20€ and have results printed and/or emailed to me by the time I get home. Tell me again how great capitalism is. It’s great for big tech, big government and big pharma.
  • I do not trust this test Mar 31, 2022

By Call me anything, am annoyed
My package did not have a sealed separate solution with to add to the not empty tube so the directions were frustrating. When I went to the app to set the timer, I had to go through the directions of someone telling me what to do BEFORE I could set the timer. I did it without the app anyway and will be deleting the app forthwith. The English language skills of the writers of the directions made clear that English was not their primary language. How aggravating it was to stick the thing up my nose and do all the junk only to discover this test was made in China. How many problems have they had making tests? Not happy.

+ Great for first time testing. Helpful videos & has timer notification that works even if you switch apps while waiting. - Videos cannot be skipped. They autoplay fullscreen w/ a loud volume (even if you keep turning volume down each time). - No quick report option. Very annoying that if the entire family tests at the same time you need to wait 15+ mins for each persons results. It would be better to have a summarized instruction list & optional timer for repeat users to click thru.
  • Incorrect vaccination dates Feb 8, 2022

    By MsMarMarOhOh
Went to add vaccination record and it doesn’t indicate which dose it’s recording. Went back to correct the dates and it won’t save it. Glitch within the app. Exited the app and went back on and it’s the same thing. Recording my vaccination record for both doses as todays date which is incorrect. Called in to get them to correct it and was told they cannot do anything other than pass a note to the development team for them to update the app. They instructed me to check back at a later time if there’s an app update. Useless. I wanted to use this for traveling purposes but it’s a broken app.

There are two major issues I have with this app. 1) It asks for the test results in a different order than they are shown on the test strip. This creates a cognitive dissonance and leads to errors. Some of the reviews here seem to indicate that this has happened to users. Ideally the app would show the same picture as the test strip for confirmation. Bad UX design. 2) It doesn't seem possible to take the test without watching the video. After watching it once, I would just like to take the test.
  • Feb 18, 2022

App is too rigid and does not allow for you to skip through steps you are familiar with once you've watched the videos a few times. Additionally, if you test and get a negative, the app will suggest retesting in 1-2 days. If you go back on day 2, it will say you're past the retesting day. All in all, this app is only really useful as an individual user for keeping track of your results over time. Otherwise, just watch the vids once and do the timer yourself.
  • Spam junk mail floods my inbox shortly after creating account Apr 13, 2022

    By nomostress
I should have read previous reviews before downloading App and creating an account, sharing my email and personal info. The spam and junk mail quickly flooded a mailbox I reserve only for important emails. So they didn’t wait to sell my information. Think long and hard about downloading an App that has major issues and is not useful at all. Read the reviews, then keep scrolling!!!! The fake reviews stand out! And if anyone knows how to stop the spam and junk associated with this App, please let me know.

Glitchy. The first time I used it was fine. The second time and the rest of the times I have tried to access my info or add a family member, it chrashes and says "unknown network error." I know it is not my network because other apps work fine. I gave it 2 stars just because the idea is good, the functionality of the app is not optimal.

I got the app. No one asked for any money and the videos were easy to follow. There are 3 videos. They each walk you through one step and keep repeating until you hit the continue button. No big deal. They provide a timer and a method to report to the CDC or your doctor if you are positive (I didn’t have to do that).

The e video takes you step by step through the process and even times it for you. My one concern is you are elderly you may have some problems squeezing the test sample vial and squeezing it onto the test card. A slightly more flexible plastic would work better

  • Works ok but.. May 17, 2022

    By kelly.rivers.school.nurse
I am a school nurse with an IT degree and the app fine until you need to create groups. I wanted to create groups within the app ( boys basketball, girls volleyball) so that the coach can see everyone in that group with a green result. But the app puts you automatically into every group instead of picking the groups you would belong in when you sign up. Also how many students/staff can be on the platform? The site says a small group if so then the app is not reliant for us (800 people)

Updated. The videos are great for first-time use. I agree with others that walking through the steps for each test when it has been done before several times is a waste of my time. Unfortunately, our local schools don't accept at home tests for admission. I do like that the app history can be used to keep a record of past tests that are helpful when speaking with medical professionals. The timer is nice; you can leave the app open but do other activities on your device and it keeps working.
  • Good app for self testing and records May 17, 2022

    By MiucaDC
The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because every time you use it, you need to either watch the videos or manually fast forward each step until the timer comes up. I like that the app keeps the results per person every time you administer them a test (and for yourself).
  • Easy to Follow instructions in the app May 21, 2022

    By shepcyn
If instructions repeat before the next step, ignore the repeated instructions. It would help if you could pause the instructions while you complete a step! Having the timer is good in case you forget to check within 15 minutes. All in all it’s a simple test with easy to follow instructions.
  • App is unnecessary for the test itself May 10, 2022

  • Great start - but *needs* improvements Jan 9, 2022

    By Heli2reg
Improvements: - *MUST* be able to add 3rd (booster) and more vaccination records - should be able to pre-populate information from 1st vaccination for 2nd vaccination capture etc. - should be able to re-use previously uploaded photo image of record (most folks will have one physical vaccination record with 3 and more dose of vaccination, so why not reuse same card image) - optional ability to upload testing evidence for verification and validation if needed later

I haven't used the test yet, but I have two problems with the app. Both have been mentioned in other reviews. One, I had to enter false information for my first vaccination, as it doesn't give me the option to choose the correct date in January 2020. Two, I have no option to add the date of my booster shot. I hope these issues are fixed soon. Until they are, this app doesn't provide an accurate "Health Pass".
  • Unable to add booster shot Jan 17, 2022

    By sdoxley
Areas that need improvement: - need the ability to add a single photo as card had multiple entries. For example, upload once and then if you need to upload another one, give the user the option to add as new or replace existing. - Need to be able to add booster shots - would like to ability to manually add Covid-19 antigen test from other manufacturers by uploading photos of those test results.

Great concept and works well just a few improvements would be great. Ability to add 3rd vaccination. Ability to add test results from other vendors and upload email results as proof. Ability to store dr email so don’t have to look it up every time I test. Also ability to send results to another party. I am a mobile notary and because I go in peoples homes I have to test weekly.

My first vaccine was Johnson & Johnson. As a result there was no second dose of my initial vaccination series. Needs to be a way to state that. I received the booster shot of a different vaccine. When I enter the date of the booster, the initial vaccine changes to the same date. No matter how many times I try to correct it, it still doesn’t work. After taking a new test, the results page shows my vaccines on the current date instead of the dates they were given. Tried reaching out via email, but received no response.

How aggravating it was to stick the thing up my nose and do all the junk only to discover this test was made in China. How many problems have they had making tests? Not happy.
  • Incorrect vaccination dates Feb 8, 2022

Went to add vaccination record and it doesn’t indicate which dose it’s recording. Went back to correct the dates and it won’t save it. Glitch within the app. Exited the app and went back on and it’s the same thing. Recording my vaccination record for both doses as todays date which is incorrect. Called in to get them to correct it and was told they cannot do anything other than pass a note to the development team for them to update the app. They instructed me to check back at a later time if there’s an app update. Useless. I wanted to use this for traveling purposes but it’s a broken app.

I should have read previous reviews before downloading App and creating an account, sharing my email and personal info. The spam and junk mail quickly flooded a mailbox I reserve only for important emails. So they didn’t wait to sell my information. Think long and hard about downloading an App that has major issues and is not useful at all. Read the reviews, then keep scrolling!!!! The fake reviews stand out! And if anyone knows how to stop the spam and junk associated with this App, please let me know.

After installing, the agreement terms for access to my phones camera, and photos, etc were too intrusive without an explanation, kind of a turn off. You should give people access to the introductory video and instructions for the covid test, first, with a clear explanation of why you need all that access. I uninstalled it right away. This is a disincentive to testing.
  • No. Just no. Apr 13, 2022

The very first instruction is to download the app. Open the app, and they want you to pay $25 immediately before going any farther. No. Just no. The next step is to determine whether it is test set one or test set two. There is no indication on either the box or its contents which test set it is. The instructions while occasionally oddly written, are fairly easy to follow without having to use the app. It is clear that the instructions were not written by a native English speaker. The test was not approved by the FDA, merely authorized under an emergency use authorization. The tests were manufactured in China. I cannot speak to the reliability of them, especially since the FDA did not approve the test. but hey, free test. Use as a first – line test, but do not rely on the results all that much. If in doubt, seek out and pay for a reliable molecular test, from a reliable health practitioner, clinic, or other source.

The application itself would be a great tool but you're forced to watch/skip video instructions when the test has them already. Not everyone is a complete brain dead moron and needs 4 videos to do a test along with the paper instructions provided in the test kit itself. Paper instructions are just fine for conservatives. Add a stand alone 15 minute timer without all the extra nonsense and this would be less annoying.

I am unable to read the "tems and conditions" in the app because the text is too faint, the contrast too poor. Make the text bigger. Use denser, darker font, or use whit text on black background. The video doesn't play when I tap on it.
