  • Amazing Idle - Not Overly Monetized Sep 21, 2020

    By Christopher Ables
A little slow to get started but this game has a great pixel art style, retro feel and peppy chip-tune music. It’s a very chill game to play, and I have to give props to the developer for not trying to dime the player to death with IAP and ads. So far there are three purchases, one removes ads (which are for bonuses to multiply your away earnings...you keep those bonuses if you buy this) and two are for permanent percentage boosts. They are fairly prices and I bought two of them right off the bat when I saw how the developer has handled the monetization. The thing that usually drives me away from idle games is the obnoxious assault of ads and purchases to make progress, and here is a fun idle which keeps that sort of thing to a very welcome minimum. Fun to play and worth supporting.

Dull to start, but it grew on me. There are a lot of dull parts in my opinion where I didn't know how to progress, but it can be figured out, and is fun when it is. The biggest problem is that I never really knew how the upgrades would actually affect my gameplay, so I got stuck poking around trying to find the next natural progression.

  • Best idle game on mobile?? Sep 19, 2020

    By Superclasher535
I’ve played my fair share of idle games and they are fun but all of them seen the same. However, this game is pretty unique. It’s kind of a side scrolling 2d auto runner where you can jump to pickup coins and kill enemies. The enemies can’t kill you you just hit them like you would a coin and they get attacked automatically. There are cool upgrades and abilities and a pretty massive skill tree. Would 1000% recommend you play. It starts a little slow but once you unlock ascension it gets really good.

I recommend this game for people who kinda like random games to play when your bored. Its a great game the pixel graphics are great. The only thing "wrong" with it is the jumps can be kinda finicky and sometimes in the bonus stages its difficult. But other than that its great (also creator what happens in bonus stages when you fall besides having to respawn?)

Don’t get me wrong I’m having a blast with this game, but NEVER EVER LOG INTO A DIFFERENT DEVICE. I did that and it worked for a while until one day you forget and go on the alt device first and BAM hard progress lost. Achievements you earned, lost. All because you didn’t log in that specific device first. I grinded for the glove so much yesterday and was waiting to have over 1000 ascend point today. Instead I got over 1000 from my OLD progress that I’ve been offline for 2-3 days making me go all the way back and grind for it again. I want to say I’m done but the lack of ads makes it better but I’m still completely frustrated.

  • Has potential but just too slow Oct 2, 2020

The gameplay is not engaging enough to make me want to keep playing, and the progression is too slow to make me want to keep playing. So much potential but just think it needs some balancing. SP purchases go from costing 20-30 SP to suddenly 600-6,000. Just lost interest. Don’t want to play something for 3 days straight just for the next thing to happen.

Progression on this game is brutal. You get to a point where it literally take days before you can upgrade a single item one level. You get prices of upgrades almost immediately. Seriously, some of them go from 50 souls to thousands or tens of thousands. And the bonus stage is probably the cheapest thing I’ve ever seen. This game is completely unbalanced. Don’t waste your time.

This is similar to an idle game, but it's not like most. Unlike games that have you tap in order to make money, or you just sit there watching ads in order to get enough money to get a single upgrade. This game has easy to remember controls, it can be vertical or horizontal, you can go to new areas, and you can fight enemies. I'd like to see another idle game do that.

I've been playing around for 2-3 months now, and the game really serves as a "play if you want to" type of idle that isn't in your face. Progression has slowed down, however, as once you get into the higher levels, you don't earn as much money as you need for the next good upgrades. It's a lot of waiting and gathering souls to ascend and grind again. One more complaint: the bat sprite is incredibly hard to see when playing in the City. Maybe it's just because I play on low brightness? Idk lol

  • Major flaw Nov 2, 2020

    By Jack.stone.9
Game is enjoyable, and felt well balanced until ascension, when the game’s major flaw was revealed. There is absolutely no correlation between money earned and ascension points. Ascension points are awarded based on number of enemies killed. The rate that you accumulate ascension points does not change. After the first ascension, you can progress through the game without ever upgrading anything but the ascension board if you select the Soul Gatherer Bundle perk. Making your entire skill tree obsolete after the first ascension seems like a pretty glaring oversight.

  • Slow start Sep 23, 2020

It’s a fun game but I feel that it needs to open up a bit sooner to keep you engaged. It’s a bit of a downer when my next upgrade is 100x higher than the one before, would be nice to see more upgrades even if they don’t do much. Also, the equipment doesn’t seem to be balanced. The last item you unlock seems to be the only thing to sink money into. Even buying upgrades doesn’t seem to make them worth it.

I've played this game for a few months now and while I highly recommend it, you can probably play until the No or De currency.. the game has a nice pace to it until you hit those numbers, then it takes WAY longer to progress and just gets slower. I still enjoy it, but a lot of things don't scale very well later on so it takes too long too fast as any idle game

Edit: Sorry, but endgame definitely requires you to actively play for hours or just use an auto clicker. The game is no longer "Idle Slayer" it is just "Slayer". Please consider reworking offline progression. -- Honestly one of the best idle games I've played. The unique upgrades are great, it's not just "x10 more money" and stuff. Great job. Looking forward to more updates. Perhaps an upgrade that would sometimes randomly shoot something and kill flying enemies would be good.

  • Decent idler so far, but had a few flaws. Oct 3, 2020

    By Mementh
So its feeling like a decent idler, But one major flaw the the "special area" Everything in the game is made to be played one handed with vertical sight. But this area wants to be on the side. This perspective change causes your normal reactions and such to be broken, your placement and such is different. Also it being on the side your thumbs get right in the way of seeing whats coming up, and you cant plan properly. Also if you fall in, you are most likely going to fall in 2-3 more times because.. well you spawn in a area that you cant jump from. Those flaws make the special area... just not fun!
