Jan 5, 2021 I played the original, and many Kairosoft games. This game is more than recycled ideas; there is more depth, customization, and management in this game. New animation. New music. New items. So if you weren’t sure about buying this game, and you like management games and the original Hot Spring Story, you won’t be disappointed. Buy it. Good job Kairosoft!more -
Dec 30, 2020 I love these games and the quality of life features are slowing getting better. There are many improvements that need to be made however. I love how you can adjust things now, but its still very difficult. I would like to be able to have a room inventory, like the scenery so i can rearrange my hot springs easily. Because you never know where to put things until you get much further in the game when its too late and difficult to move things around.more -

I love love love this game. All the classic features with very compatible and excellent new ones. This is classic Kairosoft updated the Right Way. I can’t stop playing. I have two verandas connected to the same stone path on two sides and something about that seems to have prevented my guests from going into the bath building, they will start to walk up the veranda then spontaneously turn back around and leave. But my staff doesn't have that issue so I'm a bit confused at whats wrong.more -
Jan 4, 2021 As a long time Kairosoft dabbler, I can attest to this being a great approachable entry. It has the same problems as most KS titles, mainly the repetitive nature becoming more apparent as you reach "end game", and that the game can pretty much manage itself NP - The difficulty is not high, and there isn't any one task that requires your attention lest you fail, ala Game Dev. Still addictive. TIP: its 100% easier to rearrange the spring if you move everything in a line 1st on the property edge!more -

My only qualms really are the building system and no pause to rework massive amounts of stores and rooms which disrupt everything. Getting to lvl 40 and looking over the hellscape of thousands of pixels is intimidating. Also as mentioned elsewhere, touch is off on my Android phone and iPad pro. Maybe patch this issue? That would be great!more -
Dec 23, 2020 Great game, there's so much to it! I wish there weren't as many pop ups as I can't even for a facility without being interrupted. There's literally a pop up every 8 seconds or less (yes I counted) also there's a big that shows a characters first visit twice.more -

What’s Groovy
This is definetly worth picking up if you liked the 1st game, alot of new things added, easier interface. Had the 1st Hot Springs Story when it first came out and was the only game that I kept playing off and on through out the years, im talking 5+ Years. Alot of replay value. Kept me off alot the Gatcha Hype games that came and went.

What’s Subpar
Do I love this game? Yes. Am I a long time kairosoft fan? Yes. Am I drowning in pop ups and bath salts? SWEET MOTHER OF MR X YES!! Seriously the constant pop ups are too much! I'm so over having a pop up every time someone "finds" bathsalts.. I have nowhere to put them please just leave them where yu found it!! But yea seriously this is a 5 star game ruined by 5 pop ups every 20 seconds. Fix please! Also wish bath effects carried over through playthroughs like previous game.
