  • A bit wonky and confusing Oct 6, 2020

Its a bit confusing and a bit wonky to use, but other than that its okay *so* far, but i would much rather use computers than on mobile since its a lot easier.

I had the app and add on for Chrome. Both worked but like others discovered not all the time. Coupons were hit and miss. The worst feature was honey gold. You can earn it on some purchases if no coupons are available but the wait to get it is far too long. I get they want to protect themselves from rewarding gold and then people returning the product but that is honestly too much of a hassle for the pennies in gold one would get after a 90 day wait anyway. Try it and decide for yourself

  • New updated design made the Droplist useless. Nov 1, 2020

    By KrisCrisChris
Ever since this app came out, my favorite feature of Honey was their droplist. It would alert/show you any price change in any selected items. It doesn’t anymore. The old version categorized recent deals to the top with their prices highlighted. This new design has them sorted randomly even if you sort by “hot deals”. If I didn’t have notifications on, I wouldn’t have known my droplisted item went down $10.

I saw this advertised by several YouTubers and thought I would check it out. My problem with this app may not apply to every user, but I simply couldn't find a working coupon (or many times ANY coupons) for any site I shop at online (Amazon, Steam, Games Workshop, Ikea, Playstation, Funimation, Otterbox, Barnes & Noble, Lucky Brand, Express) I get my interests are sort of niche, and it seems the main draw is to shop from big retailers, and I don't shop clothes online. May be better for others

I’m not a nerd who cares about “honey points”, I’m here for here or there casual purchases, and I don’t save a ton of money, but when there’s a coupon I don’t know about it, honey has it. This app isn’t pure money saving magic, so to everyone complaining, just take your free dang coupon and go. Honey rocks!!!

Came across this from Youtubers but I tried it & for me it brings no value what so ever. I tried it for my niche group of things ( Video games, accessories, tech) & it has no information that I haven't found already come across the average way. This could be good for someone who's lazy or doesn't search online often for deals but I do. This isn't for me, I think it would be beneficial if this app offered exclusive discounts you can't get anywhere else.

I like the idea of Honey, but the usability is not very good. When saving items to your droplist, they save as separate items for each color/version of the item. So you can quickly have a bunch of items in your droplist when you've really only added a handful. Then when reviewing the droplist within the app, I can only see the first 52 of those items unless I put a category on everything which is tedious also as it can only be done per item version instead of in bulk.

  • amazing concept! but not it.. lol Nov 23, 2020

this app advertises that on your online purchases it will apply all the coupons and on the advertisement soo many get applied and it looks like it will help on all your online purchases! this is not the case.. veryyy limited on items that have a discount plus most of the coupons “honey” will show you DO NOT work when applying them. all they are after is for you to download the app. you might find something on there homepage that has a discount you like! other than that I wouldn’t waste your time setting up.

Not well designed. Minimized the app to get a PayPal one-time login code and it took me back to the home screen when I came back. I lost my order and had to start over again. Not a huge deal but making it harder for people to spend money isn't a good business practice imo. Also, the two codes available didn't work.

  • Very slow and glitchy Nov 12, 2020

    By LizardSkynyrd
This app has a long way to go I think. Using the search functionality in multiple stores has been less than simple. If I try to use 1 filter after searching, it’s too much for the search to handle and it pulls up nothing. It also takes awhile to load and sometimes just quits. I know it’s not my service because other apps are loading fine. I like honey, they just need to improve the app!

Giving it a 5 star because people give low ratings for no reason. This app works, it finds any coupons that are available. Of course it won't have coupons for everything, they don't make the coupons. They just look for ones that exist

  • Great concept, lots of bugs Oct 2, 2020

    By rhdieoanneuf
Just downloaded this because I really enjoy the concept, There are quite a few bugs that make is less than enjoyable though! -I’ve had it 15 minutes, has already crashed 3 times -incorrect gender clothing categories (ie:click on men’s shoes and all women’s shoes pop up) -coupons are sometimes useless because a discount is already in place. (This is more of a ocd thing for me) Keep up the hard work though! Found you out from Tim Ferriss!

  • iPad app? Nov 22, 2020

Long time user of Honey on the laptop - works great. Would love to have an iPad version (rather than biggie size the phone version). Strong preference for landscape display and more proportional keyboard, etc.

App lists little known and sometimes ill reputable stores when searching for items on sale. I found better deals via search engines than Join Honey. I recommend using another app or just Search and then shopping tab. Will give you better results at lower prices.
