Terrible gameplay
Another one of those games that could be great but are just terrible. The gameplay is so difficult once you keep progressing, it makes it virtually impossible to win. Throughout the levels the other teams get better, but they don’t make your team any better. Controls are also awful. The other teams defense is a brick wall compared to your Swiss cheese. Your defenders will literally skate AWAY from the puck while you’re lucky if you can even get passed the blue line let alone even get a shot off. If you’re lucky enough to get a shot off, they either block it or it misses the net by 100 feet. While the other team either scores or hits the post. You can poke check them the whole way down the ice and they’ll never lose the puck, but the other players will be 5 feet from you and you’ll lose the puck. So much potential but just awful. -
Don’t waste your money
The gameplay is horrible! The controls don’t work half the time. Some example of the poor gameplay and controls. One of my players which I am not controlling pushes my goalie out of the crease into the corner allowing the other team to score into a wide open net. Occasionally icing will be called when the puck crosses the center red line. Players not being controlled always move away or over skate a loose puck and player being controlled does this as well most of the time. Player being controlled moving down the boards occasionally will not cut to the middle of the ice. Cannot get player standing in front of wide open net to shoot and when button finally registers he shoots it into the corner. If you really feel the need to play this game just stick to the free version, I regret spending the money to upgrade. -
Horrible
This game is awful... on pro difficulty in career mode, the computer never misses a poke check and if the computer gets the chance to shoot it will go in 100% of the time. The joystick that moves the direction of your player doesn’t work sometimes. If your goalie ever stops a shot there is no way to control if he freezes the puck or not... overall this games mechanics are absolutely atrocious and I do not recommend downloading. On top of all of these problems with the mechanics all you have access to is the career mode as well as a face off mode where you can play a game for fun but even then you have access to 1 or 2 teams. The only way to gain access to all the modes and teams in the game you have to spend money... NOT ONLY DO YOU HAVE TO BUY TO GAIN ACCESS BUT THERE ARE STILL ADS. This game is horrible... absolutely horrible. -

Players shoot wide constantly and the sprint button doesn’t work. A lot of the features are nice but the game ends up being really frustrating because the controls are very unreliable. I ended up switching to automatic sprint which works a little bit better, but when you try to turn a player and they take an extra 2 seconds to turn that direction, you’re kind of hosed at that point. There is a lot that I like about this game, but man the controls are infuriating! -
Had potential
You get to a certain point where it’s impossible to win, you’ll have an open goal and the player will shoot 10 foot to the right, the other team can steal the puck as soon as you get close to them but you can’t steal it from them if you’re glued to them, the players on your team are nowhere to be found and if you make a pass you usually have to wait for the other player to get back onside because they stay in the neutral zone.

Unused potential
As many people here, I have the same problems. Can play only 3 matches, then I have to wait ages to play another. Controls are mostly unresponsive, unless you’re near their goalkeeper, where you tackle him and get 2mins roughing penalty (OR EVEN 4min CHECK IN THE BACK). You need to be extremely lucky to win at pro mode, since your goalkeeper has like 50% catching and you can’t get past blue line. Oh and try to shoot, you’ll see it flyin everywhere
