I love this app! I have about five other pregnancy apps as well, and this one is my favorite. Granted, it is not the most informative of all of my apps, but it is the most fun. I love that it syncs with HiDaddy! My husband loves hi daddy! He is always extremely busy and does not have the time or interest to peruse all of the apps the way I do. He loves the daily nugget in such a cute, fun format, and he loves that he can see how I’m feeling with the emotion tracker. I do wish the emotion tracker would send a notification, but it’s fantastic. To the people who have posted negative reviews saying that it’s silly or there’s not enough information what complaining that you have to pay for high daddy or hi baby… This is meant to be a fun app and a fun time in your life with the added benefit of being informative. The cost is super minimal in the developers have to charge to get paid to keep improving the app. The baby is going to be way more expensive than the less than five dollar cost for the related apps. Developers, I sure wish you would make a Hi big Brother/hi big sister app. I have been searching and searching for something for my tween daughter and this is exactly what I’m looking for but I wish you could say hi big sis instead of HiMommy! or HiDaddy!

I love this app! I like how it updates you every day in what's going on with your baby, and in such a sweet way! I also really like that you can link it with the HiDaddy app and send daddy messages :)

I absolutely love the Hi Mommy app! This is our first pregnancy and we love daily “messages” from our little nugget! It’s very informative, feels personal, and very sweet! I get excited whenever my Hi Mommy notification goes off. My husband was wanting apps that would do the same and I saw Hi Daddy advertised in the app. We thought it would be more informational about the baby and what’s going on during pregnancy for the dad to know. So I sent the link to him so our accounts would attach, her had to pay but we figured it would be worth it. WE WERE WRONG! The Hi Daddy app offers false information and is horrible. It is trying to be more comedic than informative. Our biggest upset is the false information. The app told him I was in my last week of the first trimester at 9 weeks. Then told him at 9 weeks the baby was going twice it’s size everyday and was 2 inches long... But if you are a mom looking for an app for you, get Hi Mommy, it is amazing! Just don’t waste your time or money with Hi Daddy.

I love how this app gives such a positive daily nugget about pregnancy everyday. Sure, it’s not a place to find all your information but I don’t think that was their purpose at all. It’s helped me to look very positively at my pregnancy instead of hearing all the horror stories people tell me about painful birth and terrible pregnancy’s. With it being free, I think it’s a great positive addition to other educational resources.

The app is cute! It’s fun to get daily updates and be kept up to date with some milestones and facts; however, the English translation is pretty bad. “Mom, tap here when I will born” is an example and some of the things they say in the updates are a little strange. The weight range is terrible as well. It will really mess up your mind thinking you’re largely over or under where you should be in terms of weight. Literally every pregnancy is different and heathy no matter if they gain 20 pounds or 60 pounds. There should be an option to just log your weight without saying you’re too heavy or too light. Other than that, I’ve used it for 9 months and have still enjoyed it!

This app was great to use throughout my pregnancy, it gave me something to look forward too and was another small way to connect to my son. I also appreciate and really like the postpartum feature that gives me daily info on my Nugget. I enjoyed the app so much my partner downloaded the HiDaddy! App to get notifications with me. The only suggestion I would make would be for a similar follow up for dads too. My partner misses his daily updates/facts, so much so we just set him up with the HiMommy! just so he could get new updates with me. We’re new parents and this is our first so it would be nice to have more new dad support too!

  • Weird Description/Wrong GA Oct 15, 2018

The app was okay... although it always counted the gestational age wrong by one day. Let’s say I was 10 weeks, it would never say “10 weeks” it would always skip from “9 weeks 7 days” to “10 weeks 1 day.” It was always really buggy in that aspect. Which was fine because I enjoyed the daily updates. UNTIL now.. today my update said something along the lines of “if I’m a girl my ovaries are getting bigger and if I’m a boy my penis is getting longer ;)” WITH THE WINKY FACE AND ALL. I don’t know I just really find it odd how they said it and how they decided to throw in the winky face. Too many positive reviews of this app for the weird winky faces and odd descriptions. If I could give 0 stars I would, gave me the creeps.
  • Not single-parent friendly Apr 13, 2018

    By LilBun1018
I liked the simple format of this app versus others that I’ve seen but every single message has a comment about “dad” literally every single day. I understand that the typical family includes two parent families, but families are becoming more and more diverse with same-sex parents, and single montherhood. If I had the option to remove those comments, I may have considered keeping the app, but for a mom who is very excited to be having her own baby, despite it being a product of an abusive relationship, it’s very upsetting to be constantly reminded that someone is “missing” from the picture.

I tried to contact the developer but there was not a way to do so on the website so here I am. The app is alright- I do enjoy the little daily reminders even though some are pretty silly. I mostly got the app so I could see a tracker on my Apple Watch with my pregnancy progress. I downloaded the app at 17 weeks and I am now 19 weeks and the 17 has stayed on the complication for 2 weeks. If I tap it I can see the actual progress but it should be adjusting automatically on the watch face without opening the app itself.

It is a cute app, but my baby isn't white. I'd like to have a diversification of baby race options instead of just a white baby. Also very heteronormative. I'm not even with a man, so I wish the baby had options to NOT mention a daddy, but another mommy.

I really wanted to like this app, but somewhere in the first few age they switch from typical counting of age (e.g. first date of last period) to actual age post conception, so all of their daily facts are off by a few weeks. I had about six apps running to decide on the best one and this one was highly disappointing cause I loved the concept but it’s completely inaccurate as far as what it’s telling you about the fetus’s growth. :/ I emailed them to give feedback and ask questions a few time and never heard back.

This app gives barely any info about your pregnancy or growing baby. Each day is a new little blurb of info. Sometimes it's completely irrelevant and assumptious. Unless you want to spend more money, this app is completely useless.. although I'm sure there's not much more to it even if you did pay for more features. Don't waste your time downloading it. There are tons of other apps that are actually educational and information.
  • Insensitive Jun 12, 2019

    By mommyvillarreal
You would think after all the negative reviews from people talking about the constant reminder to get daddy involved that you would edit the app. My husband is involved in this pregnancy but I was a single mother before I married him and there was no father in the picture. I would’ve hated to be reminded of that daily. That should be an option you can add by changing a setting. Not something that is going to hound you every day. This is a mommy app and it’s all about daddy.
  • Week 2 Day 5 comment wigged me out Jul 1, 2021

    By Lab student
The tone of this app is that of your blastocyst/embryo/fetus/baby telling you about their development in utero. It feels childish to me and also sometimes says odd things. Like the Week 2 Day 5 message: “Dod you know you’re already pregnant? :)…I knew that series of nights with Dad on the bed would definitely lead to something.” I do not want an imaginary embryonic voice commenting on my sex life, thank you very much. Will be using a different app for my pregnancy.

This is great and I love that I can send daddy things. I just wish it would send him the correct things when I send them. And I wish the hidaddy app had more things for my child's father this is his first baby and he is nervous. Please make the hidaddy app like the himommy app.

I love how there is something new every day. It’s nice for the moms who like to check in on pregnancy apps everyday. I like that you can connect with a hi daddy app (even though my husband won’t 🤪). The only complaint I have is it wouldn’t let me use my email from my last pregnancy with this pregnancy. I had to use a new one. 🤷🏻‍♀️That might have been me though.

  • App is probably better for Apple Watch Nov 8, 2018

    By camilleann
I love the interface which is why I still have it, and the fact that it syncs to baby daddy’s app but it’s not even kind of as informative as my other apps. I still like to use it in addition to the other apps for fun though. If it were as informative as Ovia I would delete all my other apps, all 4 of them. also If I so happen to get an Apple Watch this would be the only pregnancy app I use on it
  • Have been satisfied Dec 21, 2020

    By lgahl
It is a very decent app. I like that it has updates everyday versus every week. Only thing, like all apps you have to pay for the more extended version but for what it gives you daily I guess it’s okay. I usually have this app and another couple of apps all together they get the job done.
  • Cute but no need for premium Apr 29, 2021

    By Sarita Raquel
It’s a cute app & enjoy reading it in the mornings! I gave the free trial a shot for the premium but I don’t see the need for premium since many apps out there offer similar features for free My favorite part of the app is the weight gain tracker that lets you know if you are on target for your weight at your stage!

I absolutely love this app, and the option to connect daddy to it as well is amazing! However I will say that the hidaddy app seems a lot more fun. I was reading some of my husband’s messages and I was dying laughing. It would be great if momma could get some of that humor as well!
  • Non-invasive cute updates Jan 4, 2021

I enjoy the app. It’s cute and I get little updates every morning. I will note that measurements are in metric so if you’re not familiar, that can throw you off a bit. I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t pay for the app, but for free I really enjoy it.
  • Love the Format Jan 5, 2021

    By StephCon5
I love how this app is formatted and how it’s the baby telling you all about their development. It’s nice to be able to read something every day regarding your pregnancy. *If you can get past the numerous spelling errors, it’s a great app!

I love this app that gives you daily reminders on how special pregnancy can be the only downside is to get the full reading you have to pay the monthly subscription I believe we should at least be able to read the daily reminder weather we play 4 the full program or not
  • It’s nice but needs more for the price Dec 17, 2020

    By Tha :)
It’s a nice app, the daily posts are really cute but other than that there is nothing else to it. I think it’s definitely overpriced for what it is. The paid feature only expands the daily posts by another paragraph (other free apps are essentially the same). The HiDaddy app was half the price and also limited on what you get out of it.
  • Overall okay.....but Mar 21, 2019

    By HunnyBunnyBaby20
Overall okay, but this app needs to stop reminding me to invite my baby’s dad to participate in the experience. I don’t appreciate the ongoing friendly reminders that go on for the term of the 40 weeks, reminding me he doesn’t want to participate. The app needs to be more single mom friendly, even though I understand that’s not the norm.
  • Good information but annoying “reminders” May 7, 2019

    By dandykrayon
I got this app to learn more about what’s happening during my pregnancy, but half the time the messages include some version of “my baby” reminding me to eat healthy and exercise. I guarantee pregnant moms are all doing the best they can in those areas, please limit the tidbits to actual info about the baby, thanks.
  • Cute app Jan 1, 2021

The app is cute. It’s nice to get the little messages every day. I gave it 3 stars because there are so many typos and grammatical errors that I have seen in the last 9 months. I feel like it should have been proofread better especially when they charge for the app.
  • Cute but there are better apps Feb 7, 2019

    By Kiah Rei
It’s a fun little app but not super informative. There are much better pregnancy apps! I highly recommend NOT having your partner download the hi daddy app! It’s pretty sexist and rude. It’s talks as if they are a total idiot and you are a monster for the next nice months. If anything it’s a waste of space on your phone.
  • Cute but creepy Jan 12, 2021

    By ARM821
My 5 year old loved this app because he thought he was getting messages from the baby. Some things were informative and super cute. But others were super creepy like when my fetus baby told me to go bang his daddy and then winked at me. That was weird.

I had about six apps running to decide on the best one and this one was highly disappointing cause I loved the concept but it’s completely inaccurate as far as what it’s telling you about the fetus’s growth. :/ I emailed them to give feedback and ask questions a few time and never heard back.

  • Inaccurate Descriptions Oct 2, 2018

Not sure if this is just a glitch on my app... but the descriptions of baby’s development are wayyyyy off. It will tell me my baby has fingernails or toes when my baby just barely has limb buds. It’s like somebody who knows nothing about babies is just making random “facts” up to hype up new moms. I did give 2 stars because it’s pretty cute, but that’s the only real pro of this app over an accurate one.

I don’t use Facebook...understandably so, I’d think, given their misuse of users’ data. So I was dismayed to find that this app will only let you sign up through Facebook, & without signing up, you can’t use it :( I never even got to try it out. I gave 2 stars because it looks like a great app, but this one major flaw kept me from finding that out...

Up until this point this app has been good, but some of the messages are weird/inappropriate. The current one that I have today says “however if I am a boy my penis is getting longer ;).” Not sure why the winky face is necessary but I’ll be deleting the app because of this. They need to reword these messages to make them appropriate.

While the daily facts can be fun, some of them aren’t true or at least true for the timing. And not to be that person but you can tell a man wrote them, they just say certain things that could be kept out. Personal opinions are on the app which is ridiculous in our day and age. Kind of judgey comments about breastfeeding or working moms. The weights aren’t always accurate either. Otherwise it can be a fun app sometimes :)

Although I enjoyed the daily updates and reminders about my little one’s progress, I deleted the app because of the constant “daddy” oriented messages. Babies come from ALL circumstances and relationships; they are always a blessing, whether there is a daddy or not. The last thing an emotional pregnant woman needs is steady reminders of how her situation is different. Why have a separate app for Dad’s if the mom app is going to include and mention him constantly?
  • Not racially inclusive Jun 8, 2021

The updates on physical developments, like skin and eye color, of babies are about white babies only. Not a racially inclusive app which is infuriating and insulting. They should know and do better. They definitely need some diversity and inclusion training pronto. I will now delete this app as a result. Why would I want to be a part of something that doesn’t include people, couples or babies that look like us and our little one.

This app was off in the gestational age by one day, not sure why that is. I was very uncomfortable with some of the descriptions. The app’s week 10 day 3 description says “If I am a boy, my penis is getting longer ;)” Yuck? This is my unborn child. I don’t need to read vaguely sexual remarks about their potential organs. The information is fine, but the winky face is in poor taste. Other apps are more informative. I enjoy other pregnancy apps far more.
  • You can only look at one day at a time Jan 15, 2021

    By SoozinPodcastLand
If you miss days. You can’t go back and catch up. It lets you scroll by week, but they took away the ability to flip through days that you missed. I missed a week and can’t go back. This app is useless unless you remember to check it every day. Also the Hi Daddy app told the dad I have a “burning taco” and a “hot enchilada” referring to my vagina. So...off.

I was really enjoying this app until realizing that when trying to let my husband download the “Daddy” version of this app for his daily updates so he can be more involved in the day to day changes, it’s a $2.99 charge for dads! Free daily updates for mom, but $2.99 for a father to get the same thing. Completely unfair.

I’m so disappointed, I wanted to like it and I did in the beginning but it’s very obvious who ever need these it’s either for fun or they have no knowledge of fetal an embryonic development, A six week old pregnancy does not have hair on the head nor does it have a truly discernible head. It’s cute and I like the idea but I am deleting it because it is not accurate.
