Thank you so much for making this app! It's super clever and fun. Gamification of glucose levels is brilliant! I love that there are multiple personalities to pick from. As someone who had had this stupid disease for 20 years, I appreciate this so so so so so much. Sometimes it doesn't connect perfectly with my dex, but 🤷♀️ the dex also doesn't works all the time perfectly either. JUST THANKS!!!

Accessibility is great!!!
With many 3rd party CGM clients accessibility isn’t an option. The devs of Happy Bob went above and beyond. They not only fixed Voiceover issues, they fixed them quickly and asked me to test the Apple Watch app for VO compatibility. Great job and Happy Bov helps take the stress out of daily diabetes management. -
I absolutely love this app. I cannot overstate how important it is to have encouragement when you're feeling rubbish, or entertainment (snarky mode) when you're feeling up to it, when you're dealing with constant testing. It is amazing how your brain can interpret a cold, hard number and make you feel like a failure, really ruin your mood, but this provides the comic relief or kindness needed to keep me sane. Thank you so much to the developers!

I love Happy Bob but I really wish there was a widget because the little notification doesn't show everything and it always changes by the time I've opened the app. I love to see a constant graph and comment on my main screen and not have to completely open the app.

A Joy to Use
I cannot explain how much I love this app!!! You can tell that it was created by people who have real experience and understanding of what living with diabetes is like. I feel encouraged when my BG is both in and out of range and Bob’s comments about my blood sugar always make me smile, no matter how many times I see them. I’ve lived with T1D for 17 years and this honestly is one of my favorite management tools I’ve used.

Love all the characters
My daughter who is 10 loves all the characters you have to offer! We purchased the pumpkin and Jack Frost! Can’t wait to find out what the next new one will be! 😍 -
Love this app
This app is so much fun and makes having diabetes a little less depressing!! I think you should be allowed to use the stars to earn ways to customize happy bob. I think that would be cool! -
Love my Bob!
I am a type one diabetic that loves this app! It's hilarious and helpful because it because it tells me i'm high or low in a mean but funny way in the snarky mode. In happy mode it keeps me positive even if i'm high or low. In Karen mode it's a Karen. And that's why I love this app. -
Fun and a question for developer
It is fun to see Bob’s various quips during the day. On the main graph, the Y axis normally shows BG; but when I toggle it, the Y axis shows Cals but the graph remains the same. How would Dex know anything about Calories - consumed or burned - (assuming that’s what it means)? Or what DOES it mean? -
A good app but..
I love this app. I think it’s funny. But it’s absolutely TONE DEAF to start charging for different versions. This app is made for diabetics, and if you’re a diabetic you KNOW how expensive it is to survive. So for an app that’s supposed to lighten the mood or give support, it’s very disappointing to see you want to charge for different versions.

Best diabetes management app
Other diabetes management apps are boring and can be anxiety-inducing. Happy Bob is exciting and feels more like a game than an app to help monitor a disease. The app is easy to set up and connect, it’s star system motivates and rewards, and snarky Bob is hilarious. I prefer Happy Bob hands down to similar apps that I’ve used in the past. -
This app is amazing, it really helps my 12 year old. It makes him more aware of his numbers.

The voice is a little sketchy sounding but I love the app so far other than that. It makes it more of a game and I hope it helps me keep my A1c down!

It stopped speaking
When ever I tap the sentence it stopped speaking it wasn’t like this before -
love a bit of fun to an otherwise pain in the butt condition 😋

Happy Bob is hilarious and I'm glad he's on Android, but I will second Robyn Hovey: I'd love to see this work with xDrip and Nightscout. I don't usually use the Dexcom app and only have it on temporarily as I am a new G6 and pump user this week. I plan to delete the Dexcom app on my next sensor change and go back to using xDrip, and that will mean no more Happy Bob snark. 😔 I do love Snarky Bob, though, and those comments from the Karen mode are all too real! 😂

I'm sooooo excited Snarky Bob is finally on Android, love it! I do have one criticism that's worth 2 stars to me, though. I wish I didn't have to share my data with Dexcom. Five stars if you could make it work with Xdrip+ or Nightscout, and skip Dexcom Share.
