  • Huge potential May 4, 2016

I've been reading Hacker News for years now and am growing increasingly frustrated at their lack of usability and modern design. HackerWeb is already an improvement by letting me collapse comments. I think it's got a ways to go but I see some huge potential to offer such an improved experience that people would be stupid not to use it.

Great HN client! But a dark theme would be greatly appreciated

Easily the best Hacker News client available, highly recommend the web app version as well. The interface is a huge improvement over Hacker News itself, and lacks any of the clutter of other clients.

It's a web app. But you'd NEVER know because it's amazing work. Work like this deserves your money and time. This has been my go-to app since the start. Brilliant.

Been using the web version for ages and just found out about the app. It's beautifully simple and does exactly what you expect. Love it, thanks :)

There is a HackerWeb shortcut on the home screen of every device I own. I just noticed the React Native apps for Android & iOS. Excellent work!

It is much easier to read Hacker News comments here than on the HN website. Would be nice to be able to log in and comment from the app though. If this is how React Native apps look and behave, I'm sold! Also, bravo for being open source.

Tapping links does nothing here (Android 7. 1.2) according to the video it should open chrome custom tabs
