    The app is ok however this Sunday I received 6 requests in quick succession. All bar one needed no help, and most requests I get end up being no help needed. My main criticism of the app is that once an alert comes in it sets my notification volume to max. I don't want or need to be notified each time normal messages come in which is why it is set to mute. Please can you make sure the app doesn't change my notification settings

    Still unable to upload photos of new AEDs locations to the GoodSAM app. When trying, app says camera location required to be switched on although it's switched on in the phone. I've emailed support, but still waiting reply. Still waiting on Android Auto interface.

    Until yesterday, 23-04-20, it worked fine. Today it fails to open just goes to initial screen with no info then returns to my phone screen. Have uninstalled then reinstated. Rebooted my phone but the app has stopped working. Not very good if we are needed urgently. Update. Wow I am impressed with how rapid GoodSAM has risen to the challenge and fixed the bug. Works perfectly again. Thank you. I have changed the rating.

    A simple to use and brilliant idea. Unfortunately, after several weeks of working fine, I reported the app stopped working today and was advised this is a Google app/android issue that is being dealt with, but I still can't get the app to work. Asked if I uninstall and then reinstall will I lose my volunteer hours, but this remains unanswered. *All is working fine now. The auto update needed uploading manually. I didn't lose any volunteer hours either. :)

    App is OK apart from: (1) the ear splitting siren which I've now turned off by going into the Responder settings via my phones Apps option. The downside is I mow miss most requests! Need an alternative noise. (2) I didn't sign up for chats (I'm rubbish at them) so either don't send them (most requests are chats) or enable me to see what the request is so I can decline if its chat. At the moment the alert does not indicate what its about. Until changes made the app remains set to Off Duty.

    I am being inundated with requests that are far outside of the area I can reasonably travel. In the last 10 minutes I have had 31 requests to help, but all 5km-10km away. I have double checked that the app knows my location via the emailed link. I can't spend all day rejecting 3 requests a minute until I find one that is in a reasonable cycle/foot radius of my location. I'm in London so I am sure there are people nearby that I could help but as is I am not seeing them. Please fix this!

    App is obviously for a good cause, but I keep signing myself out as off duty to avoid the ear splitting notifications (which are unaffected by muting your phone) 3x a minute for requests that are way out of my range. Needs location restrictions and notification adjustments ASAP!

    Completely unusable. When you get an alert, there's absolutely no indication as to what you're supposed to do, and no way to contact the person needing help.

    I am receiving alerts from miles away.. sometimes even different cities, which are more than 200 miles away. 😒

    Never had an issue with the app. I use the OHCA responder as not signed up for the NHS voluntary scheme. One glitch I do need help with. I cannot upload photo or position if a community defib. Have tried on 2 phones. Both have location and tags unlocked. But no joy. Any ideas. For those below who are not happy with the app. Keep trying. Be patient. This app has saved lives around the world. It was a steep climb for the design team to go from out of hospital cardiac arrest to what it is now

    The app was running fine until today, the app will not open and keeps closing, I've updated the app , cleared cache and turned phone on and off and the same thing happens.I have had a few alerts via the app and other than this problem been happy with it. Any ideas what I can do to get it working ?? Update 16.32pm Thank you for answer to the question everything seems to be working now , thank you

    I've been available for 124 hours so far. I've lost count the amount of times the app hangs when loading. The only solution is uninstall and reinstall which I am currently doing whilst typing this review. There is obviously an annoying bug causing this. I'm tempted to just log off duty, delete the app and call it a day.

    Nice idea, but app needs a lot of improvement. Just spent several minutes with the map displayed and a progress spinner but not able to switch tabs. All I wanted to do was check if I was on duty. As an Android app developer, my time would probably be better spent fixing the app than volunteering so that other volunteers don't waste their lives waiting for the app to respond.

    I'm always contacted for assistance for another town 15 miles away - nowhere else and never anywhere nearby around my own town of 30k people... As I'm not registered for check in, chat, I'm not sure why I'm continually contacted. The siren is a ridiculously loud alarm too. As this app now serves more than a single purpose, some thoughts on a sensible method of notification should be considered.

    App unable to locate my position, unistalled and tried again, no change. Not received a single alert but report shows not accepted tasks. When I first downloaded the app I provided mobile number to receive text message, not once I had been notified of tasks. Poor app.
