I really loved this game. Beat it over the course of two weeks and almost every level is a great challenge and a fair puzzle. My only major complaint is Level 7-11. One of the biggest strategies is working backwards from the hole, but 7-11’s hole is oriented in such a way that it makes it impossible to figure out where it lies in relation to the other blocks. It is clear in hindsight what the final moves are but prior to that its both a structural and psychological nightmare. I finally solved it by process of elimination but there is no joy in exhaustive search of the solution space; making it clearer where the hole is in relation to the rest of the level would solve the problem entirely. Thanks for such a great game regardless. Definitely worth the cost of admission.

Unique gameplay, nice art style, well executed. My only complaint is that the solutions aren't always elegant. When the solution requires hitting it in the water on purpose to set up for the next shot or hitting backwards off a wall to eat up a stroke it feels kind of hacky.

  • Fun but short :/ Dec 8, 2018

Highly enjoyed the game! 2-3 puzzles really had me thinking. I sat down for about 30 minuets and played through the levels. At the end of the game I was really surprised it was over. Way way way to short for other games I spent $3. I thought for sure I was missing something. There was not enough challenge for the price paid. However I still rate the game 5 stars because I loved every second of playing. I just wish there was more to it. If you have 30 minuets to spare and don’t mind spending the $3 go for it! I often think of entertainment as the price of a movie ticket. $10/2.5hrs. In this sense if you go to the movies it’s the same amount spent for the entertainment time.

Loved this game. Made me think and I even went back in a few levels that I didn't use all the cards to find alternate solutions, which I found some. Made me happy that a lot of them had pretty clever ideas and not mindlessly straight forward. 100% recommend for a puzzle game.

Thank you Afterburn! I absolutely loved this game! Challenging without being too difficult and relaxing while being thoroughly enthralling. If you’ve played Square Enix Montreal’s “Go” series (Hitman, Laura Croft, Deus Ex) and enjoyed those then I think Golf Peaks is right up your ally. This is exactly the kind of puzzle game I truly adore. Everything from the UI to the art, music, sound, and mechanics truly are a perfect fit. I have nothing negative to say about this game. I hope the devs plan to release more levels. I will gladly purchase any expansion level packs. Either way, thank you Afterburn. I really enjoyed your game. 😇

  • Great game, not enough levels Dec 19, 2018

Awesome concept. Well done. Nothing like it and totally original. Only downfall is that there are only about 85 puzzles. Most of them are pretty easy. The game is over way too quick and then there is nothing left to do except delete the app. This is why most puzzle games have level editors, where people can upload their own levels for unlimited fun. Please do this, because if it’s not done, this game will be a forgotten memory (good memories) for most people after they complete the short journey.

I really enjoyed this game. The challenges were good (though farther challenges would have been very welcome), and the style of graphics/physics was cute. Solid puzzle game to tease the brain, plus pleasing to the eye. However some puzzles were not my style, as I prefer puzzles that require using every bits present to solve it. But only some of them disturbed me this way. And for people who like working through overcrowded elements to sort out what really matters, this is also just another plus.

The game is fun and I am enjoying it, but it would be helpful to have a hint option available. Some when you start and others earned somehow. Not having any at all is frustrating when you are stuck. I do really appreciate the fact that it is ad free and so well done. It is really fun. I feel guilty for my above comment. Perhaps the point is to solve yourself? No matter what it is fun, great graphics and we'll thought out. Thanks!

Great puzzle game. Easy to pick up and play. My only critique is I wish there were more levels.
  • Very entertaining game Nov 18, 2018

I like the premise and am working through all of the levels still. It’s addicting with one exception which is why I rated it 4 stars. This game runs hard on my phone. I have iPhone 6+ which says it can be ran on my phone but having some heat issues. Other than that I am really liking this game.
