I was unsure at first because some of the exercises *could* (potentially, in certain situations) make things more difficult, if the relationship is abusive, for instance. *HOWEVER*, assuming that the person using the app does not have an abusive partner and is aware of their own weaknesses, I have found this app to be helpful. It definitely helps with intrusive, obsessive thoughts that sometimes creep into my head for no reason. And it helps me keep my crazy under wraps, lol

Developers were quick to reply to any issues with the app. I really liked this app.

I was initially embarrassed to try this app and asked myself why anyone would admit to needing this kind of thing by giving a review. But oh my goodness!! This app is wonderful. It conditions the mind to think positively and embrace resilience and that is a beautiful thing. My husband is trying it now, too, and likes it as well. It has helped me already to have a more positive outlook and improved the way I relate to others. I wouldn't have believed it without trying it. So grateful!!

To each their own, and I can only speak for me here. However, I love this app. I find it stimulations in areas, for me, that I haven't experienced yet or at least helps me to identify problem areas in which to manage them. I love that it is available. It makes me feel content in knowing that regardless of how I feel.. there's still some positive type of response for me to read or engage and thayd helpful.

As someone still finding resources for OCD/ROCD, this is a very good starting place. It can help boost positive thoughts and discourage negative thoughts and remind you the things that ROCD tries to make you forget: relationships arent meant to be perfection. I hope to see more resources here or on similar apps in the future.

  • Not good for OCD Jan 2, 2019

This app is not good for someone suffering for OCD. I’m sure it has good intentions, but it does not properly use CBT. This definitely should NOT be used as an alternative for therapy; in fact, it may feed the OCD cycle for those who have it. The goal of this app is to “throw away” negative thoughts and “embrace” positive thoughts. For those of us with OCD, we should not even be labeling the thoughts. We should be accepting them for what they are- just a thought. This app is simply sliding up the negative thoughts and sliding down the positive ones. I don’t see how it can be helpful. It’s not about throwing “bad” thoughts away, it’s about sitting with the uncertainty and the anxiety.

I had the paid version of this app some time ago and I found it pretty helpful, but deleted it once I finished all of the levels. I’ve downloaded it again a few times in the past few days, but all I get is a screen that says there has been a data error. I hope whatever it is gets fixed because I enjoy using this app and the ggocd app isn’t the same (although still helpful).

Already love this app after just one 3 level session. I can tell this is going to be just what I'm looking for. Perfectly designed for my situation. I'm going to buy the full app as soon as I can. Already know it. Edit: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ subscription purchased and i can't say ENOUGH GOOD things about this app. It's amazing amazing amazing I think every thing about someone in a relationship that had doubts in any way should get this you will see that everything you ever felt will be addressed.

Good for daily affirmations. But could have other features. Maybe more asessment and then show you your progress

I've definitely seen improvement in managing my thoughts and it's really nice to see an app specifically for rocd. I'm docking a star simply because a $20 pay wall is extreme.

this app is phenomenal I definitely recommend it. only thing I don't like is how some of the categories are the same thing over and over.

It is very thought provoking. It is all about cognitive development.

I was enjoying it on the first day I got the app. The next day I went in to try it but it asked for my age and the assessment again before I played. Third day, it asks for my age, then my mood, and then it just stays stuck on that screen asking for my mood.

Decent app but there’s a bunch of grammatical errors that could’ve easily been fixed. And for someone with ocd, that would’ve been PARAMOUNT to get right for an app like this.

Simple, easy to use and effective , I had a glitch the first time round where whenever it opened I just a blank green screen, but uninstalling and re downloading it has fixed that.

I guess it's an ok app/game. Pretty boring. All you do is swipe positive affirmations one way and negative ones the other way. There is no "training" or anything, no advice or tips or anything like that.
