Login only works through Google Chrome, it doesn't work if Firefox is set as your default browser. Other than that this app is not much functional.

I too had a sign-in problem. Firefox set as default browser on Pixel 2 XL running latest Android 10. Resetting Firefox's default app assignments fixed it. More when I've had chance to actually use the app....

I was really excited to install and start using it in my daily workflow. But started facing usability issues as the UX is not suitable for code reviews or seeing diff. The font is too big and each code line warps around making it really uncomfortable to read. Edit: Thank you for the fixes. Really appreciate it!

Very good app! The only thing i am missing very much is "Projects". Are there plans to integrate this into the app?

Unable to login because every time I go to my email to get the authorization code the app resets to re-enter my email and password and resends a new authorization code so that the one I just copied is no longer valid. You need to rethink operation on mobile and either just extend the time on the authorization code or figure out how to keep the app on the authorization code page long enough to go to email, grab a code and come back to paste it in. Great idea, but total fail on usability.

Super bad as it opens my browser instead of opening the webpage for signing in from within the GitHub app. So every time i try to sign in, i have to open the browser, and then open the mail app to look for the code, and when i return to the browser, it reloads the page and my code doesn't work anymore... Well, it does work but i have no option to submit it again, so i'm stuck out of the app until i get another device to open the mail in.

My account got flagged just 1 day after creating an account 😡 I hadn't even created any repository. You must fix this in your system because I found a lot of people with same problem 😡😡

No customization. Visual bad look. Repositories icon color is annoyingly evil. Fix it.

I am giving 1 star because the app deletes my work. Going to the home screen and clicking the app icon takes me back to the issue list instead of the issue I was viewing, and obliterates any comment I was working on. Data loss issues are the absolute worse. Hitting the app icon should never change the user's view (let alone delete their work), it should only take them back to where they were. The UX is very alien compared to the excellent web apps. Why not improve the web app instead?

Its an amazing app to handle my github account on the run. You need to review and issue real fast? Or read discussion on an issue this got your back. Merge a commit while on a commute this got you. Nicely done. Now please do something about the code viewer, on mobile horizontal scrolling and wrapping needs a rewrok.

I just downloaded this app.But I want to know why this app requires access to my "Personal User Data". Waiting for someone to reply over this comment,so that I can continue with sign-in.

I love the service, but I've found numerous issues with the pull request review portion of the app: - Inability to start a suggestion by pressing a button - Inability to comment on multiple lines (or multi-line suggestions) - Inability to select/copy code - Edits to pending comments not being reflected when you go to edit them again - Inability to open more context for a changed file As it stands, I see no reason to use this over the website; an app would be convenient, but this lacks features.

I found that the things I can do with this mobile app are very limited, but some things are just far too easy. On a pool request I swiped up on the bottom panel to see additional detail on continuous integration stages, and there's a close button at the bottom of the pane. I assumed I should click that button to close the pain but it closed my pull request, to my surprise.

I can't see the releases and I suspect that other Android phone (haven't tested in a tablet) users who have the app can't see it too so now, I have to consider linking to the releases section.

Unable to sign in again.. The original issue was fixed as seen in the reply below.. but new login issue now. "There have been several failed attempts" Seriously github after 3 failed password attempts you are going to lock me out? I have 2 factor installed.. how is someone going to break in? I cant fix my production issue b/c I cant login.. Imagine if Gmail locked people out after 3 attempts. Google would never do this
