  • Just a suggestion, but great game Oct 29, 2020

    By NykKnack
I love this game, can’t put it down. But I feel like the daily quests should be implemented before focusing on weekly events. I love the weekly events but something to do daily would be a bit more refreshing. The lives feature is nice, because It’s the only thing to get me to put the game down so I can do things in the real world. But my biggest suggestion would be an option to choose the other pops that show up in the matches, (Like let us choose from what we have to be the back-ups) because sometimes when you end up with a bunch of pops with similar colors you just stare at the screen and waste a life (Ex: Funko Freddie, ET, Tenderheart, Marty McFly and the t-Rex. They are all really close in color and resulted in my lowest score ever) and for the last five seconds when we have sweaty stressed pops, I’d like an option to turn that off because I can’t tell what each pop is when they all have that sweat drip covering a portion of them, so I hardly get anything done in that last few seconds. I hope you guys get this and try to find the best solution possible. I really love your game and want to stay will you for the long run. Also please remove the “are you enjoying this game/ do you want to rate the game?” Menu pop-up for players that have rated the game.

I’ll keep it simple and to the point. The animation is nice looking and as a Funko Pop! Fan it’s cool to see them on here. The powers of the individual Pope are cool. The only thing that’s going to be a negative in my book is I think it will get old quick. The gameplay is fun, but there aren’t any levels thus far and nothing really to work towards making it a little repetitive. This game is pretty new and I’m hoping they implement something like levels or quests . Lastly, I don’t like that there is a “❤️” or lives system where you have to wait to play more. Hope you guys actually read this and have the passion that the Funko artists have. This could be something great. Thanks! So I am a week in now. The game is fun and I like the characters. I see that they are adding events and that is also a cool feature. Only major gripe I have at this point is that you get a lot of duplicates when opening mystery boxes, which is off putting because it’s takes a long time to get gold to buy them. Other than that , I like it.

I love this game, I think it's cause of the idea you get to collect pops and upgrade them, one of the biggest things I would change would be the cost of pops considering it's at random and especially when it's event pops, and maybe introduce more pop character, but overall it's a brilliant game , keep up the good work x

  • Best Match-3 app I’ve ever played! Oct 26, 2020

    By MayDonutLover
Seriously, it is. It’s 100% free-to-play. No ads unless you WANT to watch one for an extra 5 lives like one a day, or a free spin on a prize wheel once a day. That’s like, two ads a day at most! Second, the gacha prices? Very reasonable if you do want to pay in! The more persistent you are, the better the game gets! I thought I’d be playing this casually, but now I’m practically engrossed in it! Plus, you know, it’s Funko POP! Vinyls. These things are amazing! Also, the stamina regeneration? Some of the fastest I’ve EVER seen in a game. 10 minutes per life is pretty reasonable. That means in an hour, you’re definitely ready to jump back in! Definitely a 10/10! The only changes I’d ask for are some more figures from big IPs, like My Hero Academia, Teen Titans, and Dragon Ball Z! Other than that, this app is perfect!

This game is very reminiscent of Disney emoji blitz. I expect to spend many fun hours collecting pops. Edit: They added a "feature" where you will continue to receive the same pop even if it's maxed. This makes it very unlikely that you will ever max everything since each time you have a 70% chance of getting something you don't need. You want a suggestion? Stop doing this and add the non- exclusive pops from events to the standard box after each event. This will keep people coming back.

This is a typical “timed match three puzzle with energy system” just themed with Funko. That’s the best part of it, the theme. The match three is fine but the timed part is just annoying. I feel like there should be a mode that lets you play as long as you want and earn the stickers and coins and stars and pops that way. Maybe that could be a mode where you get less of the rewards per puzzle but you could just play as long as you want without the energy system? I play for about five minutes as it is now and then I am out to hearts. Sure yes I can wait till they all fill up but by THAT point I have either moved into do another game that doesn’t restrict my play time or I am actually out of time to play because I have to go, you know, to earn a living. It would’ve been nice to have an endless mode to play during lunch breaks and such that wouldn’t require energy but would still give me rewards to be used towards pops. Truthfully this will probably stay on my phone for a few more weeks till I get frustrated enough by the energy system that I just won’t be wanting to play it anymore. I understand people have to make money for apps, but then just charge an initial price and be done with it.

The app has gotten better with time, kinks worked out for the most part. Event Pops are hard to come by. Would have given 3 stars but the time it takes to get coins for a pop is insane. I spent 6,000 on what i thought was going to be an event pop but got a COMMON pop.

I was looking for a game to play during my downtime from Disney Emoji Blitz. I found this game, and it seemed right up my alley. Unfortunately, it seems to require an always online internet connection, and my internet is extremely unreliable, so I cannot play the game at all. Perhaps I might be able to give the game a better shot if the developers can fix this oversight; otherwise, sayanora. Edit to add: Less than a day after I wrote this review, I was attempting to buy a mystery box ingame, received several connection errors in a row, and after restarting my game I had negative eight thousand coins and no new funkos to show for it. I contacted support, and after getting a meaningless "We are working on your issue" message on October 30th, I haven't heard a single thing from them since, despite sending two replies afterwards. Having the game be online only was bad enough, but having it cause a significant issue with my game and coming to find that the support team thinks a wait time of nearly a week with no actual progress towards fixing my issue is acceptable is atrocious. I was unable to play the monster event they had going on last week, for fear of having all my progress wiped away just like my money, and I doubt support would help me out even then. So in summation: don't bother getting this game, since the developers won't bother helping you if anything goes wrong.

So the game isn't terrible, as a puzzle game it's fine, but the game purposely uses your little power ups at the end of every play to avoid clearing what you need for the event. And getting new pops is disgustingly pay to win. An average run gets you anywhere between 100-200 coins, but you need 2500 for a regular pop, and even worse 6000 for an event pop. And they demand you buy at least 4 event pops before you get any bonus. Worst yet, you can, and will more than likely pull the same pop.

This game is great; a lot of fun to play and definitely better than Disney Emoji Blitz so far. BUT one thing that was recently switched has begun to sour me on the experience, and does not bode well for the future of this game. A recent update changed the way that random loot box pulls work for “completed” characters. Previously these were removed from the loot pool so that you would not receive duplicates of characters whose levels were already maxed out. However, now you still can receive those characters, with a minimal reward appearing in their place when you pull them. This makes higher-tier (lower % draw) characters nearly impossible to pull even after you’ve sunk countless coins into boxes, thereby making the loot box system ineffective. To be clear, my low rating is based primarily on this change to the game mechanics, and I will happily revise if/when this is readjusted.

Although this game rips off Disney Emoji Blitz, it’s a good copycat of the game. The game has you favorite characters outside of Disney, even if it’s not a Disney game. The hearts you can earn easily by waiting 50 minutes or buying them for thousands of coins. Speaking of which, the Funko figurines are easy to earn which costs 2,500 coins. I can’t tell which is better but this game will have you hooked. The only downside is the board being a little too small and would be nice to fill up more space. By the way, there will be more Funkos coming soon, so I can’t wait for my favorite characters to come up in future updates.

Very cool game. I do like how every Pop! has it's own high score and the total of them all can unlock more goods. It's a good way to get use all the Pops! and not get stuck playing with favorites. I do suggest making a separate pack for just event Pops! It's discouraging to save up to get something to play in the event and then get something that doesn't help. Like all things new, there are some bugs to be worked out but it's still a very cool game that has a lot of potential.

  • Logs me out Nov 13, 2020

    By Byrd2192
I logged into the Game Center to save my progress, after I noticed that I lost all my progress the second time I opened the game. Now, every time I open the game, it says I’m logged in to the Game Center, but it doesn’t have any of my progress I’ve made other than that very first day. So I have to “log out” of the Game Center, then log back in and select the proper saved point so I can keep going. Every. Single. Time. It’s really obnoxious. I’ve only been playing a few days, so I only have 12 characters so far, but if I have to log out then log back in multiple times a day, every single time I open the game, I’m not going to be playing much longer. It’s a really fun game and I want all the things, but that’s getting old pretty fast.

I like the game overall. Its a fun alternative to disney emoji. But i feel like they should take a page from emoji. Once a character us maxed, it should not be an option to get anymore. It's frustrating to have only one maxed out character but to keep getting it over and over. Hopefully as time goes on and they add more figures theyll either cycle the characters in the basic box or something.

I love this game but would love it if they started doing their daily tasks in addition to their weekly event quests. I would also like it if they eliminated the type of funko from the random character boxes so you don’t keep getting them even though your character is maxed out. They end up giving a star that is given anyway if you got any other character. So essentially you lose out on a new character. If you don’t eliminate the chances of getting the maxed out character there doesn’t seem to be much of a point to leveling up the characters. Doesnt help if I’m trying to collect them all.

Fun game that I spend far too much time on for the thrill of seeing pretty explosions and getting virtual funko pop toys. The good part is that each figurine has a different special so it’s not super repetitive, but the frustrating part is getting the rarer characters or more not getting them very often. But of course I also haven’t dropped a penny. 5 out of 5 for a mobile game, but I’m gonna judge this one by a higher standard. Update: now that I have played a couple events, I can safely say this game is decent. It is very random and if you don’t have the event pops, you won’t get nearly enough of the rewards.

Overall, I’m enjoying the game. I got it yesterday and saw the office event. I obviously don’t expect to get all 5 pops since there was 1 day left. But it was nice to see that I can use coins to get the boxes. However when I bought the 3rd box today, it wasn’t any of the event characters. They’re just thrown in with the regularly available characters. If I’d wanted to spend 6k coins on getting another character that I can get any other day of the year, I’d just buy 2-3 other boxes from the store so that’s frustrating. However, the cool down between recovering lives is much shorter than in other similar games I’ve played which is nice. I did notice though that in the “rate this game” pop up, there are characters shown that are not yet in the game. Hopefully those characters get added soon because it’s a cruel temptation to know that the design for a character (in my case toothless) has been created, but not implemented into the game as a playable character. If those characters are from specific events, it’s not fair to put them in those pop ups if I’ll never be able to get them.

Fun game, feels like it's still in development, the individual pops special abilities are fun, but there's not enough characters yet, I'm grinding to get new pops, but keep on getting the same common pops that I've already maxed out, getting new characters is a huge part of "leveling up", so just getting the same common characters 7 or 8 times in a row can be frustrating

I’m a long time Disney emoji blitzer.. this is very similar.. fresh and there’s differences between the two games.. this one however I can see getting on my nerves, I don’t like the “star” system on leveling up the pops. I like you can use coins to get event pops, that’s nice. But 5 days isn’t long enough to collect everything and get all the pops and their stars.. I think that’s where emoji blitz takes the edge because at least when you get enough coins for a box and get the same emoji you get leveled up! This is kind of annoying me a tad.. I love the animations of the pops when you use them.. some of them are super cute!! Adoring the Care Bears right now!!! I’m hoping that we have quests to do at some point.. the game play is smooth the graphics are nice.. it’s a very nice game but it’s also a grind! I’m still learning what everything is and does.. I like that it’s refreshing, I started to get all blitzed out with the Disney game so I was happy to see something similar but with a different twist!!

It's fine but needs work. The animations are cool and the Pops are cute, but unlike Disney Emoji Blitz (which is almost identical), you can apparently keep getting the same Pop even after you've "Maxed" them out, which makes collecting them all next to impossible. Also, the events take FOREVER to complete, so I'll probably uninstall since I have a job and other stuff to do.

You use to earn a decent amount of coins and now you get roughly 75% of what you did before the update. If I scored 3M my coins would be around 260 and now scoring about the same and I'm getting around 150 coins. It is fun but very disappointed the devs made this change. I've only been playing about a week. I've considered putting real money into it before the update but nah I see it's going to turn into a cash grab. I think I'll stick with Emoji Blitz.

I mostly like this game. The events are frustrating. Normally you need 2500 coins to buy a new funko. During the event the special ones cost 6000. The last few events the 6000 doesn't buy you a special one just normal ones. Seems misleading for more than twice the cost. Every event is the same. I'm giving one last event, if I keep paying 6000 coins for a 2500 funko, this will be my last event and I'll delete the app. The Universal Monsters event came around twice. Still didn't get everything.

The worst heartbreak was missing the Jurassic Park event. Here it is a month later and I've had the same on going issues. Support contacted me once and then ignored my replies. Great job 👍
