Jun 12, 2019 By A Google userMajor bugs with the app when trying to watch the games. It glitches and won't allow me to sign in to my provider. It often says "playback failed" and won't show the games. it has also told me a game has ended even though it is only a few minutes into the 2nd half. If the bugs would get fixed it would be way better because when it decides to work it is awesome. more -
Great but...
Jul 27, 2020 By bschwally09This review is for the updated app. The new Fox Sports app is awesome and better than the previous app is almost every way. The layout is much more improved and there are stories to view which were not present before. The notifications have missed the mark big time for me. While the new notification sound is amazing, there are less of them now, and some bugs. I used to be able to receive a notification for every score for a favorite team, but now I only receive a starting and ending notification. No more 3 hour game reminder, no more stats, no more end of the game stats. Thankfully the exciting games notification is still there, but it incorrectly reported four no hitters which did not occur in reality. I know the app is new and may just have some bugs to squash, but I am looking forward to giving this app five stars again. more -

Jun 9, 2019 By KED72I have both a Roku as well as AppleTV. The streaming is quite good, particularly like the 4K coverage of the World Cup fames. However, this is the third day in a row, either device, where it asks me to sign in with my TV provider despite having signed in the day before. Is this intentional (and if so, why)?! If not, why can’t it remember my log in like every other app? Another curious, repeat experience on the AppleTV version... if I’m trying to watch a Cup game in progress that has already started, no such luck. The wheel just keeps spinning indefinitely (or at least seemingly so as my patience wears out). I can select the restart option and watch the game from the beginning but not just join a game in progress. Works fine on the Roku version. Rebooted the AppleTV. Signed out and back in. No luck. Haven’t tried deleting and reinstalling the app yet. more -
Jun 12, 2019 By A Google userOn installation the app does nothing but crash and refuses to let me log in with my provider. It is completely useless until you force quit, clear the cache, restart your device and then repeat that process until it finally works. Yes, I was offered the help line, but I don't think I did anything differently than they would have told me to do. App needs fixing so people don't need to jump through a thousand hoops on install. Once you get it working, it mostly runs fine until it randomly crashes. more -
No Spoilers?! Not!!
Jun 28, 2019 By Dave855Trying to watch the US-France World Cup match I only get a message that the app is unable to play the content, try again. To top it off it was still doing this several minutes into the game, but now when it brought me back to the Feeds screen, even though No Spoilers mode is turned on, the time and score in the game are shown in a huge font. Now I know a goal is scored early on, decreasing the anticipation since I still planned to watch the coverage from the beginning once I got in. When the app did work for other games, it did work nice. The only issue I had was once when my wifi dropped (on my end) I could only come back to coverage at the beginning or at the live point. I couldn’t rewind coverage to where I lost connection. more -
Apr 3, 2021 By Adem AlthorThis is a good app. I need it for scores, but I have come to appreciate the other tabs too for social media, odds, and stories. My one complaint is that I wish it opened up to the scores tab by default, rather than the stories. I also don't care for the shuffling effect of the story covers when the app launches, which kind of messes with my eyes. more -
Fox, my go to for information and programs!!
Mar 23, 2022 By Gordy admirerI get very frustrated with my menu when looking for games of my interest. I simply go to fox sports and not only do I get the time but also the station that they’re on and if I miss a game they are posted and also the scores. All of the sports are scrolled across the top of the screen for selection and I just tap on the one that I want and it immediately comes up. Reports on my favorite players are also available, I find all of this so convenient especially for a woman in what I call a strange app but it serves me well!! more -
Jul 20, 2022 By A WThis app sucks to the fullest extent of the word.. It's really unfortunate that none of these apps actually allow for a seamless sports viewing experience. No matter whether the phone is in "auto-rotate" or "auto-rotate off" mode, I cannot view in full screen mode. It always switches back. I guess I'll go hit myself in the head repeatedly with a hammer because that would be more pleasureable than ever using this app again. more -
Sick app for watching the same 2 commercials endlessly on repeat
Oct 15, 2019 By Dr Loon2nzThis is a visionary sports app that has gone in a completely different direction, bringing fans everywhere a truly unique sports viewing experience--one totally devoid of sports! Whereas even the most unstable sports apps typically make it through several seconds of a game at a time, typically quitting immediately before a crucially pivotal play, the brainiacs here at Fox Sports have opted to skip out on the whole sports thing entirely. Instead, they have developed a killer app that replays an endless stream of the same two commercials without ever showing any sports coverage. It's no secret that Fox and CBS have always lagged behind the other sports viewing apps (ESPN, even NBC) in terms of stability. While CBS decided to start charging for their clunker of an app to convince those duped into paying that their product was actually worth something, Fox has gone in a different direction entirely. Those intrepid fans who survive the initial stability issues with the TV provider login are rewarded in due course with an uninterrupted stream of the same two commercials repeating endlessly into eternity. No longer need they fear the dropped stream just before the game-winning walk-off RBI, or a long fieldgoal attempt to take the lead as time expires. My applause for the creativity and vision that went into this. One star for not charging us. more

Replays and live content
Jun 15, 2020 By thebradley_centerFor about 3 months now, the option to watch replays on my phone just flat out does not work. No matter how many times I close the app, delete, and redownload the app it just refuses to allow me to watch replays. Then when I know what time shows are on frequently I click on them to watch it and it tells me it has ended or not available... How? I wanna watch first things first, comes on at 6:30am and ends at 9:30am everyday it is clicked to watch the show at 8 and it tells me the show has ended and no longer available.... how? Undisputed comes on at 9:30 how is the show over? The updates do nothing, closing the app does nothing, idk what to do, but what I do know is that I’ll be watching espn from now on since this seems to be an ongoing issue that I feel will never be fixed. I’m quite frustrated with this app, and it hurts because now I basically can’t watch Uncle Shae Sharpe talk about anything anymore. Hope you guys actually read this, and I know I’m not the only one experiencing it. Hopefully, things moving forward will change but I doubt it... Thanks for coming to my ted talk more -
May 27, 2019 By A Google userThis app is a MAJOR step backwards from the FS Go app. FS Go was by far the best sports streaming platform out there, clearly superior to competition (NBC, ESPN, TNT, B/R) due to the extra features and high quality. This app takes away the best features like ability to jump forwards or backwards by 10 seconds, and ability to watch a replay spoiler- free. Why would you actively take away the most useful features? On top of that now I'm getting "playback failed" when trying to stream a replay. more -
Mediocre at Best
Mar 6, 2022 By x173thomasxWhen the app works, it’s fantastic. I typically use it to stream the games and races onto my TV that doesn’t have a cable connection. It works fine sometimes which is great, but with AirPlay it refuses to do anything. It will constantly show me the “Error Loading your Content” message but then when I disconnect the AirPlay it loads perfectly wow. I’ve had much better luck using Chromecast to cast the app to the TV, but even then it will randomly decide it doesn’t want to do that anymore either. It will stay connected but stops playing content with no warning or error message, just rotates through a few promo pictures for upcoming events. I have to cancel the cast on my phone, reload the page, then cast it again. It’ll work for another twenty minutes and then down again. Overall when it works properly it’s one of my favorite apps to watch sports on, but the instability is infuriating and makes me want to throw my phone at the TV. more -
Jun 26, 2019 By A Google userThey have made everything worse since switching from the Fox Sports Go app. You can't cast to TV, FF/RW through shows you restarted from the beginning, the video clips always get an error and won't let me watch, and the live sports news shows that I watch often don't even appear in the TV show listings. I've turned to watching ESPN and the NBA app because this app sucks so much. Also, i don't care that much about the World Cup. why does it have to fill up everything? more -
Cool idea, garbage execution
Oct 27, 2019 By KingTimothiusThis app is the absolute worst. I downloaded it to watch the World Series. (I’m from Houston but work in the Permian basin) well so far I’ve seen about 30 min total of the 4 games that have been played because this absolute GARBAGE app won’t even load the game for viewing about 90% of the time and instead gives me an error message. When it does load the game, half the time it’s buffering, glitching out and force closing the app, or there’s no audio. It’s also really annoying because apparently the “live” tv is actually a couple minutes behind because I’ll be watching a batter walk to the plate and then get an update about what he did before i can actually see it for myself. Just a complete and total let down. I have Verizon with their 75gig premium unlimited plan and 3 out of 4 bars of service. Also tried on my wifi. Makes no difference. It’s the app, not the signal. Fix the app and I’ll increase the rating but considering I’m leaving this review instead of watching the end of game 4, you’re getting 1 star. Zero if I could. more -
Dec 27, 2020 By Don GrinerThe app works fine until you try to watch it on full screen or cast it to a TV. Literally every single time I hit the fullscreen or cast button, it says "Uh oh, looks like we're having a problem" It makes the app useless because no one wants to watch football on a small portion of a tiny screen. This app is garbage, just like most of the other reviews say... more -
Disappointed
Oct 4, 2019 By Chandler_stormYes, I must agree that I do enjoy Fox Sports because they cover a vast majority of soccer, baseball, and football games that I would like to watch. Unfortunately, Fox has failed to fix the problem associated with casting the live sportscast to a connected TV. Unlike many other streaming apps, Fox does not have the capability to cast your live broadcast to a television for ease of watching. Come on, Fox. Please just make one simple change and make it possible to watch your broadcasts that can be accessed on my phone and to allow it be cast onto a television. UPDATE: after a couple of months of writing my initial post, the app still does not have the capability to cast. In addition, as I attempted to watch the live broadcast of the ALDS, I either could not find the broadcast, or when I did the app would direct me to the App Store to download the exact app that I’m using. Fox, please fix your app so I can finally watch games on my cell phone without having to go through such an excessive and unnecessary struggle with your product. more -
Sep 22, 2019 By A Google userThis is the second consecutive week that this has been in complete failure mode. App doesn't ever get past the loading screen. The few times I can finally make it to a live game, half of the screen is covered with a semi-transparent overlay. I'm on a Note8 so I know I'm not on a "newer device" but still... Signing in through my provider, AT&T, often returns an error followed by the app crashing. The real bummer is when an empire controls viewing abilities and can't create a viewing solution 🤨 more

Apr 8, 2021 By grïffThis app has so many fundamental issues compared to other sports streaming apps. Fails to load video more than half the time, cannot watch replays ever, resets to portrait mode and gets stuck there at the top of every hour, etc. Fox really needs to pay some higher quality developers to get this straightened out. Fox has a good product, but it is a waste if it cannot be seen. Streaming is the present as much as it is the future. more -

Jun 19, 2021 By Lucas WhiteFix your app! Especially on Xbox! Multiple times, the app will cease up and then restart what I am watching. I was watching SmackDown, I started late, so I restarted the episode and watched from the beginning. Maybe, 20 minutes in, the video stalls and kicks me out to the home page. And when the app resets to the home page, the episode is finishing and ruined the match! Now, I don't even want to watch what I started. more -
Constant forced ads for BTN
Feb 4, 2022 By reviewer0102030101The app functions but forces at least a 15-second additional advertisement anytime starting Big Ten Network content. Not just the first time in a while, but every time. The same applies on Apple TV. Switched to another video then came back? Forced ad. Accidentally closed the stream? Forced ad. Want to join the last few seconds of a game to catch a buzzer beater? Better hope you don’t miss it due to the ad you’re forced to watch while the game is happening. I really don’t understand the extra ads. The regular ones during games are shown anyway. You can’t get access without subscribing to BTN on a regular TV plan. Why am I penalized for watching using the stream/app, which seems to be heavily promoted for live events? more

On top of that now I'm getting "playback failed" when trying to stream a replay. more -
Jun 26, 2019 By A Google userThey have made everything worse since switching from the Fox Sports Go app.
The real bummer is when an empire controls viewing abilities and can't create a viewing solution 🤨 more -
I don’t like the four-letter but...
Aug 23, 2020 By MA2(SW)I don’t care for the four-letter network, so I prefer to get my sports news from Fox. However, this app needs some serious work. For instance, the college football schedule will not update for the top 25. I have had to keep it on the SEC option for any current scores. However, ever now and then I like to see how the top 25 are doing but I can’t. It still shows me the scores from last season. With that, y’all need to make it more interactive. Update your app or I’ll have to go to your other rival, CBS. Updated review for updated app: still not a fan of the app. I liked having “my teams” front and center. Now, right when I open the app, they’re forcing stories and other teams down my throat that I personally don’t care for or about. Give me the option to put my teams’ scores/stories as the first things I see instead of your latest and greatest of what you think I want to see. more
