Jan 12, 2020 games pretty good so far but unfortunately sometimes I will finish a level and it wont stop moving. my character went until there was no more ground. so I lost my perfect run. -

May 11, 2020 The game itself is fun, but as soon as I beat the first group of lvls and started playing sogun the loading screen stayed up during the lvl so I couldn't see anything I had to refund, as much as I love the show -
Jul 22, 2020 The game wasn't very fun and had little to no replay value. The controls were clunky to the point that i gave up. The story is interesting but that's all you'll really get out of this -

Apr 19, 2016 Very cool how each loading screen it has something said from the episodes and general forging facts. Game play is simple to get around and the mini games for upgrading your weapons are fun. The problem im having is that i dont have enough gold coins. Otherwise 10/10 ggwpmore -

Apr 17, 2016 Really fun game love the mechanics, really really fun side runner and the weapon upgrade system is really unique and cool. There are a few bugs i noticed where the games screens kind of overlap. its just the materials that overlap and you can get two screens at the same time and sometimes the two screens will remain up when in a mission. The worst overlapping screen i had though was the red from the defeat screen overlapping not only on the mission but during the forging as well obscuring my view.more -

May 18, 2016 I do like the idea of making a game that also involves blacksmithing to give your weapons a lot of upgrades. The number of levels and weapons do seem like a significant ammount. But the only detriments in this game that I can't ignore are the delayed controls, shoddy optimization, and unresponsive qte's. But the gameplay itself is okay!more -

But the thought of making the weapon your using is awesome, but could've been better just to make a more realistic sword smithing, the better you are at making a sword the better it is.more -
May 11, 2016 There's no replay value... I spent 3.50 on this only to finish it and that's it. Sure, keep grinding the same levels, but I've maxed level stars and weapons. Kinda feels like a $1 game after its all said and done

What’s Groovy
Cheap and fun game with minimal microtransactions. While many other games on the app store, even paid ones, tend to have some super predatory microtransaction scams, Forged in Battle manages to stand out bh being both very fun, and very user friendly with its monitization.

I do like the idea of making a game that also involves blacksmithing to give your weapons a lot of upgrades. The number of levels and weapons do seem like a significant ammount. I absolutely love this game! I've wanted my own forge and workshop for years, and this let's me pretend that I have one until I can make it a reality. However, the game is not without it's faults. It's quite buggy and I sometimes get a blank screen while playing, and I have to restart. This happens often. It is a newer game so hopefully things will be fixed with an upcoming update. But again, a really unique and interesting game for blade nuts like myself, or anyone who is interested in blacksmithing. ☺

As much as I love the game, and the show it's based on, I need to inform you of a small glitch I found after you max out a weapon. The stats for that weapon will super-impose itself over everything else. I don't know how it happened, just happened after I maxed out the Masamune.
