Disappointed and Frustrated
more lessI paid for the monthly pro version. I’ve been using this app for over a month and it was fine but recently it has been lagging and freezing. It is very frustrating. I edited a video and now when I open that project in the app the screen is frozen I cannot click on anything or make any edits or save my video. I spent so long editing it and it was a waste because I cannot access the video. I have closed the app and opened it multiple times and I waited hours in between trying to access the video (since I was hoping it would no longer be frozen) but it has been 8 hours and it is still not working. The home screen of the app works but when I click on the video I just edited I cannot edit it or save it or click on anything. I am very disappointed with this app. There are also not that many features included in the paid version. Another downside is that when you add text or picture in picture it does not stay where you want it in the video clip if you cut out any of the video before the text or picture in the timeline. You have to keep moving the pictures and text around unless you cut out everything or add every video clip completely first before adding the text and pictures on top of the video clips. (sometimes while editing I find another clip I want to add or want to cut out something but it’s so complicated to do because it will cause all of the text and picture in pictures to move). I do not recommend this app!

Features are fine, but any video I put in will randomly just go black and I can't find a way to recover it. If you can finish editing in one sitting without having to switch between apps, this will work fine. Otherwise, your tedious work will just go down the drain.

Used to edit amazing videos on here using effects like the smoke, fire, sparks, explosions, etc. I even purchased the $50.00 version. But now they're gone. Ive also ALWAYS has a lagging issue and it would take a lot of time to edit longer videos with tons of effects. But now that the special effects are gone, all it's good for is making basic videos and honestly if it werent for that, I'd be 1 star

I used this app to edit my spongebob troll videos, but today it said something "upper limit had been reached. Become pro to lift it." Now that was weird, because I always imported music to yt vids without a problem, but it just started doing that. Thanks to it, I am now having to use 2 editing apps just to have music on there. If it didnt do that, you'd deserve 5 stars, but I'm giving 2 because of it. Don't get me wrong, it is a good software, but if it the thing was fix, its be great.

This app repeatedly has major flaws in their updates. Latest one makes the audio out of sync with the video. Tried emailing customer support but their inbox is too full to accept any new requests. When it works, it works ok. But when it doesn't, it's a big enough issue with too simplistic of an app to be able to work through a workaround.

more lessSo I figured out my previous issue. When I was trying to clear up storage I found these files connected to the app. I figured that were useless so I deleted them. I didn’t know those files contained all of my data on the app. All of my work is gone, and there’s no getting it back. Partially a mistake on my part. However, I do wonder why the app’s data relies on a hidden file that could easily be mistaken for random junk. Maybe, I don’t know, a warning beforehand would be helpful? I don’t know, it just seems kind of sketchy. Aside from that, the app is fairly laggy, and often I’d get randomly kicked out of the app in the middle of editing. This is a more minor issue compared to my previous argument, in which basically all of my work spread out through several months vanished in the blink of an eye because the data happens to be stored in some sketchy file. This is just my take, thank you for listening.

Tried to start something new today, only to find that the audio doesn't work for the imported clips or any other imported music or sounds when trying to preview/play the project in the editor. Just silence. It will export projects with audio fine. I can also listen to previews of the clips/audio in the file select browsers. Anyway this is an obvious problem because it makes syncing clips with music/sound impossible for me now. Seems to be an app problem. I have the pro version. Help please?

Sorry I can't write this beyond the one too many bugs and when I exported videos four to five out of 10 videos would export as black or just audio only. The template section is where most of my problems happen and the software really needs to be better taken care of. There are way too many bugs for me to use this software but the windows version does wonderfully and this version needs to be just as stable. Going to pass and ask for a refund due to the issues I've been having with this software.

This was not vergy great for me. I was editing a video and when exporting once i went to watch the video it was lagging behind the audio. That wouldn't look great for the video. Sorry but Filmora just wasn't for me Edit as reply: will see about it in the future. For now i'll stick with kinemaster. Thanks for reponding by the way, apprecate it!

For being a mobile app, I was impressed with the things you can do as far as editing goes. However, when I add audio, it cuts out a bit multiple times. I was able to overlook this, but this is the last time I'm spending 4+ hours editing a video and have it close out of the app and completely discard any changes made to it. I really wish it had an option to save throughout the editing process rather than the "save once you're done" because I'm sick of my work and more importantly my time being wasted. I will continue to use this when this issue is fixed.
