    Perfect app especially via wifi direct, all works fine. The only missing things is that we can not view our videos via filmic remote app. We have to switch back to original phone to view the videos. It would be perfect if we can see what we filmed directly via Filmic remote without switching back to the original phone. Anyway thanks for turning my phone into professional camera!!! 😂😂😂

    There is lag as others have mentioned but it’s transmitting and controlling over WiFi so it’s to be expected. It’s NOT supposed to be a Teradek system. My issue is switching between 2 iPhones, doesn’t work. Tested with an iPhone 5s and 8 Plus. The Remote app needed to be restarted to display the feed that was not the first one viewed. Even though the other appears in the list of devices, the app had to be quit and restarted to switch to the other device and see video. Both phones are running different version of iOS (12.4.5 and 13.3.1) so possible API differences could be a factor. Dunno.

    Everything works over here, I've no complaints. But I do have a request. 🙏🏾 Can I take a picture? I assumed I could take one through the remote app... Update... Of course, yes the Firstlight app. Silly me. Had it installed already. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Any plans to enable the same kind of remote feature for that app? 🤞🏽

    The app is a good idea in principle but the implementation needs work. The video on my 2020 iPad Pro lags behind the video on my iPhone 11 by 2-3 seconds, which makes the app pretty useless as a viewfinder for blocking motion. I think it would be far more useful if the developers would compress the video by a factor of 5-10 to reduce the lag to a couple hundred milliseconds. I’d much rather sacrifice preview quality to reduce lag.

    Had been waiting for a update. And this update (along with the update to filmic pro) makes this app invaluable once again. My crashing and freezing issue are gone and the app feels more responsive than ever. Easy 5 stars

    Previous problem with mode switching seems fixed 😊 If it would be possible to use FiLMiC Remote in Director mode whilst still controlling the App on the phone it would be perfect. Also, no idea if it's possible but being able to also control a gimbal from FiLMiC Remote would be great.

    Hoping you can support for Mac Catalist to see the iPad app work in macOS as well. Wish it can be viewed in n two devices at the same time, iPad and MacBook. Also be great if we were able to see load Luts to see how it world look if one added a lut after. Not to be recorded with the lut. Just to preview while recording.

    I downloaded the app because according to certain videos on Youtube from producers affiliated with Filmic, they say it works between Android (S9+) and iPhone (12 Max Pro). It didn't for me. I followed the instructions, both phones connected to same wifi, remote control turned on on the iphone, I swiped to refresh many times, and I just couldn't get the phones to connect. If I'm missing something, I don't mind trying again, because I like the idea, but as it is now it doesn't work for me.

    How is a 1 second delay acceptable? I get there has to be a delay but this is ridiculous. I’ve use many apps like this and this one by far has the worst latency.

    Video showed yesterday. Black today. What else. Basically unstable. Support not responding. Dead in the water. Will request refund soon. Expensive for a pro app that only does remote control. Deletes remote app again. Got picture but now it’s upside down. 😂😂 On-Screen controls are right-side up. Oops! Can’t quit the app. Loses picture again. Must delete app and reinstall again and again and again. . .

    I bought it on my xiaomy note 8pro, but I need to instal it on Xiaomi 5, and I can't. I have the same account on the phonse, but on xiomi 5 the app ask to pay again? Why? I searched in "about the app" but I didn't see, that the app conect to specific device.

    I love this APP. I personally use it for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Unfortunately, this update has left me unable to effectively use its remote capabilities. The latency gets worse and worse the longer you have the APP open. It was consistently greater than 30 seconds till I finally gave up. If you decide to try it anyway, please take the time to back up your device before updating. I hope a fix is coming soon!

    I don’t know if this is the case for others, but my Filmic remote app is just not pairing up with my phone. I have an iPhone XR so it’s a pretty new device. I follow the steps as displayed on the “ how to connect “ screen and when I get in, the screen is just black. After a couple seconds, it then takes me back to the previous “how to Yvonne this” screen. Any solutions? I just purchased the Filmic app bundle.

    An excellent accompaniment to FiLMiC Pro and I wish there were such an app available for my BMPCC4K. I intend to place my main phone on/in my car for recording while driving, and this app will allow me to see camera placement and start/stop recording easily, without having to touch the main phone.

    Because of this app i dont need to buy a compact camera with tilt swivel screen. But im seeing a problem when i start to record, the remote lags out. Would be nice to know if its my hardware or software issue

    Lo compre pensando en que podia uisarse sin una conexión activa a internet(wifi) para poder usarlo en exteriores via conexion wifi compartida de un dispositivo a otro pero no es posible, intente de muchas maneras. Si o si necesitas una conexion wifi via modem. Por el tiempo que lo probé funciona mas que bien. Pero si no lo puedo usar como quiero no me sirve.UPDATE! descubri como funciona wifi remote! jajajahora si me lo quedo funciona genial.- Lo siento...

    Filmic is great but it stinks that you can't use the Android version to watch something on an iPhone. I bought the app specifically for that and couldn't use it on our shoot at all.

    Filmic pro always crashes within one or two minutes after remote is engaged. I received a response to my initial review. I followed the developers instructions to delete and reload both apps. Same problem. I advised the developer but have not received a response. That was about two weeks ago.

    Says nothing about not being able to use android and iOS together not working or having to pay twice Plus tutorial on not easy to follow. Then I got it to work on two android devices but the wrong way round and now can't download it on the other device as it says already purchased And can't now refund Stupid stupid thing. App could be good waste of 2hrs of my life trying to set up. Wish I could give it 0 stars

    This only shows me a preview of what my iPad Pro 2020 is seeing. ZERO ability to actually CONTROL the camera remotely. A total waste of $10. Running iPhone 6s+ / iOS 14.1 USELESS unless all you want to do is monitor.
