  • Great Inclusive App but Glitchy Nov 28, 2020

    By Thunderkizz
For the first time, here’s a great way to meet people who don’t fit societal norms. Love it! Cores, locations, and pairing accuracy of interests is waaaay better than apps like Tinder. I have had is app for months and functionality is great when you’re in it. Then from time to time it will force log you out, making you register for a new account... losing your matches, fun, conversations and erasing all of that emotional energy. Seriously, there’s no plain “log in” button just “enter Feeld” it’s ridiculous. It forces you to repeat the process when the app decides to log you out. Maybe the developers need a day off. Hope they’re doing okay after they bumped their heads and forgot to create a log in button.

Fantastic app. I’ve met some wonderful, fun, and open minded people here. Can’t say enough about that. I actually like that the community is relatively small at this point. Because it makes people pay attention to each other, and not just “throw away” matches like they do on traditional dating apps (when there’s an unlimited amount of other potential matches available). Also, if you’re going to put yourself out there, you’re likely more intentional about actually communicating and meeting with new people. Only complaint is it’s glitchy — with the exact same issues happening for at least 6 months. It doesn’t seem to be a super complicated platform, so I’m guessing to just don’t put any effort into fixing them. Also in 6 months I haven’t seen an app update available (seems like those happen every month or so with almost every other kind of app).

Customer service is apparently just a bot as I submitted a ticket got an medium length response that seemed to be from a human, and without fixing anything closed the ticket. I opened a new one. Got the exact same email and they closed the ticket again without fixing the problem. Finally, I fixed the problem myself. Need much better customer service.

I love this app and I would love to give it 5 stars, but I’m noticing a really bad bug with it. When the app logs you out it’s very unclear on how to get back in. There is no differentiation between logging in vs signing up for an account. In order to log back in you have to verify your account via email and anytime I click on my email to log in, the link just sends me back to the front page of Feeld where it asks if I’m 18+. This issue is very frustrating. Both me and my partner were logged out of our accounts and neither of us can get back in. Please let me know how to override this bug so that way we can get back into the app. Also, both me and my partner are software developers and we understand how much work goes into building and perfecting an app like this. Please continue updating the app and working on bug fixes. If there’s a shortage in team members, i would be more than happy to join the team to help resolve these problems. Please reach out and let us know what we can do to help!

I think the amount of 1-star reviews is disingenuous and not reflective of the app's quality. Yeah, it has some bugs but they're pretty minor in my experience and easy to navigate around. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement, and it seems like their services don't quite handle the load. But the interface design is wonderful to me (I LOVE how you can see everyone at first and look around) and this is filling a much needed void in the online dating space. I don't see how a bunch of 1-star reviews to push down the visibility of this app is going to help the team grow and their server capacity increase... I also think a lot of the issues may be an Android ecosystem thing that is device specific. This app worked great for me for a long time, and I barely saw any bugs. Maybe occasionally I would have to kill the app and restart, but that's honestly pretty normal. I switched my OS to a custom ROM and am having all types of issues. But to expect a small dev team to cater to the breadth of devices, especially if they're older, is unreasonable. I have matched and chatted with people without a problem. I have not tried the premium membership though.

Feeld is a great idea for an app. I love that it’s meant to be a space to connect specifically with couples, people who want to join couples, and people who are more on the kinky side of the spectrum. No other app (even the gay hookup apps) offers that approach. That said, the app is plagued with usability issues, as many have noted. The like/dislike feature doesn’t always work, the search parameters don’t always stick, the messaging feature is basically useless, and of course, it’s not ideal that Facebook is required to sign up for an account. Everything useful is hidden behind a paywall: more profiles, more search options, knowing who has liked you, etc. The developers of the app have made it nearly impossible to use unless you pay for a membership, and I’m not paying $16 for this app. Additionally, there just isn’t a big enough pool of users in my area. That’s not the apps fault, of course, but it is a reason I don’t like using it. And, while the like/dislike feature is fun, it seems like most of the users just want to see how many matches they can get for a quick ego boost. It’s really frustrating to match with someone only to find that they’re not actually interested in talking or meeting.

After waiting for more than a month for a solution from Feeld's support team (only got two messages so far) I've decided to review. I bought a £30 subscription for Feeld, as I was actually enjoying it. Then I logged out of the app via the app's logout function, and I couldn't get back in to the app. I've tried reinstalling/updating, neither worked. So my £30 subscription is now wasted. Feeld having a small development team only is so much of an excuse. Happy to update review if I get a fix!

Spend more time reinstalling the app than being able to use it. Constant connection issues. £14.99 per month for an app you can't use about 90% of the time? Developers really need to get this fixed. Disappointing, to say the least. Now 1 year later in 2021, things are still the same. Another waste of £14.99. Connections made, but messages sent to them aren't read/received, so need to move to other platforms such as WhatsApp to chat with them. Save your money.

So this actually my second review and I’ve increased my star rating. Earlier versions were definitely buggy but I felt the need to give the developers kudos for fixing most of these issues. Long messages can still get wiped out for some reason and that’s definitely frustrating. That said this is a great app, its priced fairly and the concept is so much better than most of the dating apps out there. One improvement would be to allow us to see a tab of people you have liked and then go back and ping them if desired. My preference is the ping people but sometimes I don’t have the cash at the time for the pings I need for everyone! Some folks may only need the app for a months so that feature may not be needed for them but as a multi-partner person I’m going to use the app for quite some time!

A lot of the buggyness has been fixed, and it's much better now compared to when I first left a review here a few years ago. This is the best dating app out there imo. Very LGBTQ+ friendly, sex positive and open to all identities and sexualities. I've met some really cool people because of this app 😊💕

I like the concept and profiles. I worked hard on my profile, and am a Majestic member. I’ve liked about 20 women, and no responses. I’m a decent looking guy, and didn’t expect all of them to like me, but based on the profiles, I thought at least a few would. But zero. there are a lot of reports of glitches and bugs on the site . And I have no way of knowing if they know I liked them . Pretty frustrating. I have had 4 women like me , but none that I liked, and none that are even reasonable matches. Love the concept, but in practice not working for me.

The app works pretty well, never exactly sure ify messages have gone out or been received. I have met some pretty wonderful people on the app, it does feel safe, and open to a wide range of people and the app allows me to present myself as I see myself. Hoping they can clean up the messaging to feel more responsive and reliable.

  • Really enjoying the app, but keeps glitching Mar 28, 2019

    By Celinerw
First off, I love this app for many reasons. It’s GREAT for a person like me to find other like minded individuals in my community. I think it’s fantastic for finding poly and kinky folx to meet for fun, friendship, and more. Truly the best app of this sort of content I’ve found. However, I hate that it’s connected to my Facebook, which makes me wary of privacy, and I could only choose photos off Facebook too. Also, the app keeps freezing, making me close out almost every hour. I literally just had to delete the app and re download it as it would not keep me logged in. I want to keep using it, but it’s becoming very annoying.

I’ve matched with several people here and met a few guys (2 great experiences, one just plain weird dude) and I’m a paid member. There’s not really too much I’d like to see changed except for the app logging you out occasionally. I’ve always managed to get back in without creating a new account and losing my matches, so maybe that’s one of the benefits of being a paid member. Really wish more single guys would join though, seems like sooo many couples looking for other couples.

Look, from what I can tell this could be a lovely app. It has a lot of different options for preferences, identity, orientation, etc that most dating apps lack. But, they're lying about saying you can use it for free. Without paying the frankly very high amount per month for Majestic, I can't even form a connection with people who've liked me. I try to like back and I'm just brought to the "buy a membership" page. I should at least be able to do that free, instead of hoping someone I liked has M

The process of actually swiping through someone's pictures is so painful! The app sensitivities are all wrong. It takes me 4 attempts to get to the next picture. This issue is so FRUSTRATING that it makes me not want to use the app. Even though the app has a lot of good things going for it. Please make the pictures tapable to toggle between. It change the speed and amount of movement needed to swipe through them properly.

Not horrible - very poly friendly app! Honestly it's easier for women to connect on here than men (obviously). The chat feature is horrendous - but you can tell they're trying to improve. It's just not quite there yet. I'd say, for what it is..the memberships are a bit overpriced, and the app is severely limited if you don't have one. I'll continue to use - only because they are transparent and serious about rolling out improvements.

App concept is great, but its functionality is pretty bad. Constantly had problems with disappearing matches and conversations. App would frequently treat me like a new user when logging back in, forgetting my details and prompting me to register. Paid version was a waste of money considering the app is buggy as hell.

UPDATED review: So my account was restored (to a new email account). For that I added a star. More stars could come if I actually meet someone on here. But like before, I have met no one after a month, nobody. Just ‘bots’/scammers/solicitors looking for a phone number. I wonder who has the time to make up these accounts, but I guess they can’t all be fake, right? I mean I can’t be that unattractive, right? Well I have patience. ORIGINAL review:After almost a month, Feeld App is dead. I don’t receive the Link to connect to my account, which I stupidly paid for a 3 month subscription for. The service department seems to have mentioned a fix, but they are very hard to communicate with (time zone issue???). I have had no luck anyway, so I may just count my loss and walk away. My advice to those wanting to use this app, well roll the dice, talk to your 8-ball or whatever helps you decide, but if you are smart, don’t get a membership, keep it free.

  • “Left the chat” Mar 1, 2021

    By Jennaych
This app tells you when someone has “left the chat” (your DMs). Like, it’s great that people have the option to leave a thread, but why do I have to know that they’re rejecting me? Just let me think they don’t check their phone often... Really hard to tell if this app just doesn’t have the user numbers (it’s not just my location, since I’ve tried the virtual global settings, or if people just aren’t looking during covid, or if my profile is terrible, or if a lot of profiles are fake or “professionals” or inactive, but I’ve matched with maybe 12 people over a 9-month period of swiping. Not a promising ratio. (For the record, I get lots of matches on other dating apps.) The cynic in me believes I’d have more success with the paid membership, but why should I think things would be different when I’ve barely seen this app work at the basic level.

Creating a profile means navigating bizzare and ambiguous photo restrictions. You load normal, non dirty, photos: yoga pants, bare shoulders, me wearing a motorcycle helmet. Then, you get 'Inappropriate Content' warnings and strident messages to clean it up. You try other photos, each edging closer to that anti-hot one of yourself in a full body corduroy jump suit. I’ve written maybe one or two bad reviews in my entire Apple/iPhone history but this is just ridiculous. I understand limiting SOME features so people have to pay but taking away all basic functionality is ridiculous. Why allow users to sign up and create a profile if they can do absolutely nothing with it? Unless they pay of course. It’s not like we’re being offered a free trial and then asked to pay; they want the money upfront and expect people to pay for a service that they aren’t even sure will work for them. It’s not like it’s affordable especially during a year long pandemic that has seriously affected global economies. I understand the app has to run some kind of way but I’ve used normal dating/friend apps that do take away some features but it’s still very much usable for all. Big dating sites like MeetMe, Tinder, etc., all have paywalls but can at least everyone can still use their apps, so why can’t you all do the same? It just feels like a money grab. I’m disappointed and deactivating my account.

  • I hate the login through email process. Feb 9, 2020

    By Ugh23really
Had deleted this app a year ago. Thought I would give it a go again. I was excited to use my email instead of connecting through FB - but it’s a pain. It won’t just let you be on with a password or kept logged in such as Tinder or basically EVERY other app out there?!?!? WHY?!?!? Instead I have to enter my email and then get sent a link to my email to login EVERY TIME. God forbid I should put my phone down or answer a text because then I get to go through the entire process again. Also the birthday bug isn’t fixed. I saw my birthday had the incorrect day tried fixing didn’t work, but took away two age adjustments in the process. It’s just the day so not a big deal, but it’s annoying. It’s still incorrect. Honestly when on it before wasn’t treated very respectfully or kindly by the other members (actually worse than any of the apps) so to have to go through the login bs and then maybe have some terrible people on the other side seems less than worth it.
