I’ve wanted to change my habit of over eating and develop self discipline. They say “when you control what you eat, you can control your world”. The app without the Fastic plus has been amazing! There were times I wanted to give up and give in to the foods when my family would eat very late at night but it seems to know when you need encouragement. So far, I’ve been drinking more water, eating more veggies, and read valuable lessons that I have applied to my life. I have very little self control when it comes to food, especially meat. Veggies and I have become good friends now especially with my digestive system. I have more self discipline than before with food! I know if my family eats late, they always try to save me some for the next day during my eating period. A big plus was that I can have a fasting buddy! My boyfriend also has food controlling problems, he tends to eat very late at night and doesn’t have a routine applied. It has helped him lose fat in some areas of his figure! And develop a great routine for him to eat. And for me too! So far I’ve lost 7 pounds in the last week. I’m not starving myself, I’m drink more water and I feel so much better than before! The different levels of fasting also help too. I started with 16/8 but when things got difficult I reduced it a beginner level fasting then build up to 16/8 and that’s where I’ll stay and won’t go further. I’ll consider Fastic Plus in the future ❤️

Loving the app. I love the hints and tips it gives you and a bit more knowledge about the whys and how's fasting is helping the body and mind. I'm doing the 16:8 and it's a slow process losing about 1-2 lb a week. But that's how I wanted it. Slow and steady for long term gain. My skin has improved. I have more energy and I'm sleeping better too. Do your research watch the health benefits of Intermittent Fasting and be mindful you are still putting in the right nutrients into your body eating.

I’ve been intermittent fasting for about 5-6 months now, about a month before quarantine, and this app is good at what it says it will do. As mentioned before, I’ve been fasting for a few months now, and I have very rarely broken the fast. I’m going to say only a handful of times in special situations, but it was always hard to remember the exact hours I would begin fasting. This app is great with keeping track of how long I’ve been fasting, and the feature of it alerting when the fasting is over is great as well. I don’t upgrade from the free version because honestly I just need something to help me track, and that’s exactly what this is. I’m aware I use it as a glorified stop-watch basically, but it meets all the needs I have in an app about tracking my fasting periods. I love the way that everything on the app is easily accessible and I can flip between screens as efficiently as I need too between breaks at work and whatnot. I love the little information that is given, even if it’s super basic information. It’s great as what it advertises to do, and it doesn’t make its advertisements all about the upgraded features that a lot of people don’t like to buy into. It’s a neat little app that is user friendly and I will be using for at least another month before I go back to college and get thrown off the routine. Keep up the good work guys!

I used this app last year and I was amazed, I was able to lose 27 pounds in two months. It was surprisingly easy ...no food except water from 8pm to 12 noon the next day , then eat whatever I wanted for 8hours and then do it again , If I ate better when I ate iam sure I would have lost more weight and if I exercised even more weight loss on top of that. Yes I did feel hungry occasionally but it passed and the first week I lost 7 pounds which motivated me to stick to it. Thank you Fastic team

Fastic has far exceeded my expectations. There are so many features that this app includes. It’s amazing. You simply enter in when you start fasting, enter the length that you want to fast every day and you’re pretty much set! There are also challenges that the app encourages you to do every day. When you are fasting there is a timer that tell you how long you have left to fast and what is happening to your body in detail while you’re fasting. After you press the stop fasting button it’s shows you up in the top right corner how long you’ve fasted and it shows in the top middle how many days you’ve fasted. If you ate 30 minutes past the time you were supposed to stop, that’s okay! You can change what time you stopped eating or even when you stopped fasting! I’ll always recommend this amazing app and I’ll be using it until the app is gone! It’s not only good for losing weight, fasting helps get rid of bad toxins in your body. Who wouldn’t want an app that helps you be more healthy? This app is definitely worth it. Go for it! Get this app for a better healthier lifestyle.

  • The Community Chat Needs Work May 5, 2020

    By Semir 🌱
The Fastic App has potential to be a great tool, however there are some key issues with the community tab. After being on here for about two weeks, I’ve decided to delete the app. What’s the point in fasting from food if you can’t fast from negativity. The chat room is toxic 90% of the time from toxic behavior and no moderation. Fasting is a difficult task already and part of the attraction to the Fastic App was the ability to engage in conversation with others also on their respective journeys toward a healthier life. However, other Fastic users repeatedly spam the chat, attack other Fastic app users, and engage in extremely toxic behavior well into the classification of cyber bullying. I wish everyone the best on their journeys and remember you don’t have to take part in bad behavior. Insecurities really show here and sometimes it seems normal to be abusive, while not even realizing it. The block and reporting feature do not work at the moment so one can’t ignore the other persons behavior. It effects the entire atmosphere of the community tab. Please fix this chat or the select few who are inducing this behavior stop. With some changes to give the user more control on blocking and reporting, moderators or filters in the chat room, the app will be a great too for the countless humans ready to take a step to a healthier version of themselves. Regardless if you care or not, Enjoy and much love to you all. 🙏🏽❤️🌱.

Using the free version. I don't 100% like the layout, but it works. The daily information it shares is nice, hope it doesn't abruptly stop after I've been doing it for a while. The water tracker is nice, a reminder schedule would be nice. Sometimes I don't look at the app until it's warning me to break/start my fast, by then I don't necessarily recall how much water I've had and can't cram it all in. I might pay for a year if samples were shown.

Thoroughly well done, professional. Inspiring, amusing, encouraging. I feel it's a valuable help towards maintaining the health advantages of IF. App pesters a bit over first days to join up... but then settles down. I wanted to see if it was for me. After a few weeks, decided it was genuinely a useful tool, so joined up for a few extras and to support them.

I started using the app almost 2wks ago. I used the free version and thought I’d give that a try first before upgrading to the Plus version. I just upgraded today. It’s worth it. I like how it reminds you to drink your water and tacks it , has a built in step tracker and “education corner “ where there is a few courses to learn. There is also a menu with what looks like 100 or more recipes. Tips & recipes on what to eat when breaking fast. Track your weight and your progress with this app. I really like that it will tell you what process your body is undergoing at certain points of time during the fast. Very interesting and cool app. I’m sticking with my fast and while I’ve not gotten on scale yet to weigh in , I can tell I’m feeling much better and my clothes are looser. It’ll be easier to get into the habit of eating when I’m actually hungry (which I’m not during fast ) Vs eating out of boredom and this app helps with that. If you serious about changing your health , give it a try. The free version is great as is. I just wanted to explore a bit more and got the Plus version . Either is good. Do it!
  • Great app, but needs improvement Feb 9, 2021

    By lolcomputerlol
Overall it’s a great app when used in conjunction with a CICO monitoring app (like MyFitnessPal, etc.). But if you have this app installed on multiple devices, like a phone and a tablet, if you don’t open both apps every single day multiple times, one of the apps will think that you aren’t fasting anymore and will delete your streak or mess with your fasting clock. It’s frustrating to be on a streak only to have one of the apps stop your timer and delete your streak because it thinks that you stopped using it, when in reality you’ve been using it on your other device. Even being signed into my account on both devices doesn’t prevent this, I don’t understand why both apps don’t sync with each other when they are signed into the same account. Also every now and then I will do a 24-36 hour fast, if you don’t open the app with in that period several times, it will also assume that you stopped using the app and will reset or stop your clock, ruining your fasting and losing your streak. I understand and appreciate the coaching aspect of this app, but they really need to fine tune and relax these hard stops. Maybe extend the timer/streak resets to two or three days before automatically stopping the timer? I feel that about half the time I’m fighting with this app and I ultimately wish it would just leave my timer and streaks alone.

I am an avid TRF/IF fan for therapeutic reasons, not just weight management. A friend of mine ask for help on the app, so I downloaded it, pretty straight forward, not difficult to use, limited capabilities. The main thing it does is bug you to upgrade constantly and say there is a 3 month guarantee. I went ahead and signed up for a year to see if it was worth it and if I should recommend the upgrade to my friends or the app to other IF enthusiasts, it doesn’t say conditional refund, but it certainly is. READ THE FINE PRINT. Conditional refund based upon daily use for 90 days, putting your weight in weekly and not losing 3% of your weight. So it is not a refund at all. You can not actually fast on schedule for 90 days and not lose 3% of your body weight. So perhaps there is some value in the free side of this, but paying anything is a waste of money, with no satisfaction guarantee. The help center is not in English. They do not have an Apple Watch app, which would be helpful, clearing up the crash instances would be good. It does not connect to Apple health other than for steps, so you must manually enter weight to track progress. It does not conform to CCPA and GDPR standards. So using the Free side, might be helpful, but there are many alternatives out there, that do not harass for upgrade. Good Luck, You have been warned.

Great to track your fasting time. The premium version adds some few educational texts, and many repeating juvenile/idiotic notifications which cannot be turned off (such as give your clothes, add a buddy, walk to work, how are you feeling, etc). It also cannot be shared in the family library. Also quite pricey for an annoying time tracker.

UI looks good, some of the info they give on a daily basis is good, but not groundbreaking. That's not to say it's bad. Biggest gripe is the food diary. It tells you what to eat on the day, as if I'm going to wake up and go get my shopping in before I get the kids up and go to work. Absolutely no manual meal entries, which makes the app pointless and unusable; what's the point of a weight loss app with no way to track meals. Won't be renewing month sub. TBH, I'd like my 16euros back.

No reply to emails. Double charges, beware! Thinking my subscription had not continued, the app offered (another) 12 month subscription so I accepted the offer. When I checked my account the original subscription was still running, so a double charge for the same single product. Just 4 months apart! No reply from contact with Fastic. Extremely poor customer service.
  • Great App Minus Community Chat Jul 22, 2020

By Carrie U - Just call me Carrie
I loved this app! That is until my second day when I got into the community chat portion. I had a few questions about intermittent fasting, so I decided to give the group chat a try. I was instantly bullied, cussed at, and so were others who were trying to use the app for (shocker) intermittent fasting! I was then told to get off the group chat if I wasn’t going to “act sexy” or socialize on it. Then I was told I should not be on there for fasting questions. The horrible part (to make matters even worse) was that some of their employees were also involved in the inappropriate chat sessions. Nevertheless, I made my complaint and was only told they were “sorry” for my inconvenience. I wouldn’t pay half of the money that they are charging for this app to be bullied and cussed at. Truth is it’s a half decent app, if you’re willing to put up with the above crap and don’t mind paying for not being able to have full usage of it. I don’t think I will be renewing my membership at the end of the month. There are a tons of decent fasting apps for half the price.
  • Not what I expected Apr 10, 2021

    By InfinityFields
I like what this app does as it has guided me to the loss of 8lbs in only 7 days. It keeps me on task and makes fasting easier as it reminds you for certain goals. However, what I do t like is the constant pressure and reminders to join the Fastic Plus Subscription. If I wanted to do that I would, but I don’t so quit reminding me of something I don’t want! There should be a settings option to remove Fastic Plus from this app. That way I and others can fast in peace until we decide we want to join Fastic Plus. With that said there are other Fasting Apps and I’m now going to try some of them. Fastic team please make the option to block Fastic Plus reminders from the app or I will be deleting this app and using another. Update: This app has been deleted from my devices. CONSTANT reminders to buy the premium was enough, but the worst is that you have to always enter start and stops daily and if you don’t this app has a bug where you edit your fasts it won’t save your edited fast. I’m done with this German crap! I’ve gone to SUNRISE! It is simple and it works!!! CYA!!!
  • Chat Alert May 2, 2020

    By Fear Bullies
The content of chat is 24/7 off topic, innapropriate, x-rated and abusive. The chat gives an option to block/ report within the chat group. But, it does not work. Teenage users appear to be targeted for bullying and worse. They are invited to join private Instagram accounts. The first thing seen in chat includes several pages of pornography content. Any attempt to dissuade this behavior is met with hostility from a group of bullies. The bullying is encouraged and cheered on. Good luck keeping this app successful. It appears the goal is to sabotage it. Update: Well? Since the chat group is not monitored and the incessant horrible behavior continues without intervention from the app developers I suppose it is time to let the world know about this. We all have the ability to snap shot the group chats and send them out for all to see. Maybe some parents, neighbors, friends or educators will recognize these chatters and out them. The chatters have been banned from other chat groups. Unfortunately, this fastic app cannot be bothered.
  • Disappointing Developer Support Aug 21, 2020

    By KD1589
The app in and of itself is nicely designed, stable and easy to navigate. After the download, I decided to sign up for a subscription since the offer was to get a refund in case the app wasn’t as expected. Well, it was too time intense for me to keep track of all the daily ‘things to do’ so I attempted to cancel the subscription within 5 days of my purchase. That was, however, not allowing to be refunded. So I reached out to the developer and got a nonsense response that clearly indicated that my email had not been read. I ended up escalating the issue with Apple and received a refund. However, IF their customer support would have taken the time to read and understand my email, they could have taken the time to help to make their app work for me or help otherwise trouble shoot. Instead, I left as a disgruntled customer. Since then I hit the delete button for their app... too bad really.
  • Limited Ability to Edit Time Jul 3, 2020

    By Darkflyer7
So the app works really well if you stay on top of starting and stopping your fast right on time. However there is a huge oversight which in my opinion breaks the entire purpose of the app. If you forget to start or stop your fasting time, if you go back and try to edit the initial time of your fast to correct it there is inexplicably a limited selection of times you can select. For example I used a “Frosty” to take a cheat day yesterday. I went to bed at 11pm and woke up this morning at 9:30 so I wanted to edit my start fast time to 11pm, because I didn’t eat anything since last night but had fallen asleep. Nope, even editing my time the only time I could select was 9:30. Completely unable to change it. So now my fasting window is completely off and I have to track it myself? Pointless. I’ll just do that myself all of the time. Uninstalled immediately.

I just started using fastic 3 days ago (although I downloaded the app over a year ago...but that's another story :0)...I LOOOVVVEEE the timer and the daily "lessons" that help to educate and motivate. This does not at all feel like the yo-yo diets that I'm used to...this time I feel like I will successfully meet and maintain my weight loss goals!!

Do it!

This app is super user friendly, extremely helpful, and super cute! It has lessons to teach you about intermitten fasting, and to just tell you the changes you will experience! I suggest this app to anyone who wants to get into this, wether you are new or an expert, this app will help. Also ITS FREE!! I mean they have a plus version, but it isnt neccassary, you still get to enjoy most of the benefits!

Great app overall! I like being able to see how much I've fasted overall and being able to track weight and water intake (I only have used free version). My main complaint though is being able to edit our data for water intake and fasting times. It lets me edit my fasting info *sometimes* and I can NEVER get the water info edited which is frustrating. I would be more inclined to pay for the full version if things like that weren't so buggy.
  • Just started, but I’ve already lost weight Sep 1, 2020

    By KatieI70s
I picked a difficult level from the get go (fast 6:30pm-12:30pm). It’s hard for me right now, but getting easier by the day. The app helps you track and reminds you to drink water, which I really need. It gives you daily challenges like “eat a handful of nuts to break your fast.” There are exercise challenges and it counts your steps. It gave me nutrition selections and recipes for vegetarians because I was able to select that option. If you forget to hit the button that you are fasting or done, then you can retroactively change it. It adjusts fasting times for you. I started at 6:10 pm last night so I fast until 12:10pm today. I’m using this for weight loss and 3 days in, I’ve lost 3-4 pounds. I have also stopped using artificial sweeteners, part of a challenge. Everyday, it gives you a lesson into intermittent fasting and they are interesting. I also don’t feel like my migraines are any worse with this. I don’t feel sluggish or foggy. So, only a few days in, but totally recommend this! I’m also pleased it’s helping me make better choices (like no artificial sweeteners in drinks and eating more nuts/dried fruit to feel satiated.

I’ve used this app for about a month now and lost 10 pounds so far. It tracks your fasting windows and allows you to adjust/edit the times so you don’t feel like you failed if you are off by an hour or so. I do not use the plus plan because I don’t like paying for apps; but this app has been very useful in helping me track my eating and fasting windows. Not only is it encouraging with their tips, the UI seems more relaxing and positive compared to the other calorie count apps where it is loaded with ads and tempting photos of food. Also, the latest update where you get to see what your body is doing during the fasting milestones has been a great addition. It keeps me from binge eating because it reminds me of how my body is working to help me lose weight. I appreciate this app’s graciousness for those who are using it for free and I will continue losing weight at my own pace. Again, there is no pressure and you get to document how you feel after every fasting period.
  • Encouraging and Educational! Mar 30, 2021

    By HelpingOut
I am really enjoying this app. The daily education and reminders of what good I am doing for my body as I fast keeps me encouraged and motivated. The “rewards” of stars and more are nice as well though I don’t really understand what to do with them, LOL! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that a longer fast (36 hours, for instance) is not yet available BUT when I asked support about this I got a quick reply saying it will be available in a future update. I completed my longer fast anyway and the app did ask a couple times if I was still fasting and let me say yes so ultimately the whole fast was tracked. Yea! When I entered my initial goal into the app it gave me a possible timeline to reach that goal using a 16:8 plan, but I can no longer find that possible date, or see if it changes as my goal (fat loss for me) is achieved. Regardless, I am seeing progress and I am happy!
  • Buddy issues Aug 6, 2020

    By Kicknpo
The information that is shared from one buddy to another are flat lies. The goals are skewed to show less than actual and weight loss shows more than is actual. For example my goal is 180lbs and I have lost 4lbs so far. On my buddy’s screen is shows my goal 116lbs and my weight loss at 20lbs. If this is not a glitch in the programming, I find it deceptive and disheartening. People/women struggle enough with weight loss without an app pitting they against one another. If you are lucky enough to have the love and support of a friend and you choose to use an app like this, the information should be accurate. That being said, I do like how the app works for me. I like the information, education and recipes. Don’t get me wrong I love the buddy feature I just don’t want it to be like that. It seems like it could be fixed. Support please not greed.
  • Nice Content but Buggy Jan 17, 2021

    By decafandchill
I would give 3.5, but rounded up because the basic function of tracking my fast works well. I wish it would stop asking me to allow notification every single time I exit and reopen the app. I allow them, they work for a bit, then it asks again and takes me to settings. Also, the community feature is confusing. I had a group with two ppl, I introduced myself and all that, then it disappeared and it asked me questions to assign me to another group. Then that group disappeared and it’s asking me again for my descriptors to be placed in a new group. I tried to look for a customer service email to let them know of these two issues, but couldn’t find one on the website. 🤷🏻‍♀️ TL;DR - developers: I can do without the group, but please fix the notification problem.
  • Decent. Missing features Feb 23, 2021

    By Minuvtc
So this is a very helpful application for getting into intermittent fasting. I love the breakdown and technical talk on how the process works and that it can be seen in-app. I think the app is missing two items: (1)measurements tracking, and (2) integration with MyFitnessPal or similar. Measurement tracking would be a great way to underscore the benefits people get from IF that your app could capitalize on. There are other apps out there, but I don’t think it worthwhile to have when it could be in one package for this purpose. Similarly, I think MFP is the most popular meal tracker that exists, is free, and does offer some integration in other apps - and it would be a good integration with fastic. That, or simply integrate with Apple health since MFP does and read that for water and nutrients breakdown.
  • I love this app but.. Jan 8, 2021

    By Nice99994
I think this app is one of the best for intermittent fasting!! I like how it works and almost everything about it,.. but one thing that I don’t like, is that I can’t message my buddies. Or just open a buddy chat with a few of the buddies that I chose.. that would be so great to be able to cheer each other on, or send pictures of each other’s progress, even just give advice on what we eat during our eating hours. That’s the only thing that I think this app is missing, other than that this app is awesome!! ..Oh I also remembered that this app has some kind of glitch in tracking the weight, it switches from pounds to kilos for some reason:/ it’s not only mine that switch but also my buddies weight too.. would be great if that could be fixed;)
  • Loving this app! Mar 25, 2021

    By samAnthony11
I am really enjoying the Fastic app. There were times I would mess up my fasting by having a lite snack which this throws off your the fasting cycle and your body doesn’t go thru some important stages of that fasting cycle. But with Fastic it’s like having an entity your accountable too. It’s great! I also love knowing what my body is doing during the stages of my fasting. And the information you receive on a daily basis is is truly priceless. So why didn’t I give it 5 stars. I would like to utilize more of Fastics paid for items, but I’m unemployed due to Covid. No extra funds right now. So I will leave the possible 5th star, for when I am able to pay for and assess the full Fastic app. Until then, it’s 4 stars. But I’m excited to use it in full someday!!
  • Extremely helpful/too many notifications Jan 24, 2021

    By joshlove2
I love this app. I used to have a strict eating schedule and it collapsed from my lack of schedule during covid. Fastic put me back on track. The only reason I don’t put 5-stars is because I cannot find anywhere in the app about how to adjust the type of notifications I receive. I love getting 1-hr notices before it’s time to fast, and I love getting alerts when my fast is done. However, getting random supportive messages on my screen throughout the day from Fastic is frustrating and distracting, and there’s no way to stop them unless I end all notifications which cuts off the useful alerts too. Ultimately, I highly recommend the app, but I’d love to get rid of these pointless disruptions.

  • Good free app, great with paid plan Nov 20, 2020

    By T'Arii
I gave it 3 stars because what I got it for is great, but the other stuff is either just ok, too basic, or you have to pay in order to use. I got it just for the fasting tracker, which is great if you are doing 16:8 fasting. There is no other fasting option. But, you choose your start time and it lets you know your end time. And there is a timer that counts down, and it will send you notifications when to start and stop. This feature is great and really the only thing I use it for. The other features it offers for free are ok. The step counter works great. Just carry your phone everywhere you go and it counts your steps (as long as it’s not in your purse or bag). Works just like the built-in pedometer on the Health app. You can even set a step goal. The water tracker allows you to set a daily goal, but you can only count water and only in 8oz increments. (I use the Drink Water app-it’s free and works much better.) You can also have a friend join you in fasting. If you both have the app or an account it will track your progress together. You need to pay for a membership plan to access all the other features such as eating suggestions and meal plans, challenges, help, etc.

Pretty good fasting tracker. The prompts to buy the premium version are only mildly annoying and not super invasive. Edit: the most recent update makes the prompts to buy premium even less invasive. Very cool. Edit May 2021: the constant notifications of "How are you feeling" are super annoying, you swipe them away and they come back within minutes.

The emphasis on weight loss is a little extreme and unnecessary considering so many people use IF because it helps with sleep, energy levels/whatever, and then there's a lot of bells and whistles that I frankly don't care about but are used as a reason to sell me on Fastic plus? Idk. It's a good timer, but it could be just as good and even way better (for me) if they accepted they designed a nice timer and left it at that.

Free version is very basic; obviously they want you to pay for it. Essentially just a timer to keep track, & also includes some very basic beginner's info on how your body reacts during a fast. Lots of pop-ups on your phone with apparently no way to shut this off (very annoying.) Keeps pushing you to join their social media groups. The app is a helpful reminder that I will be starting or ending my fast and how long I've been fasting, but that's about it. Can't imagine I'll using it very long.
  • Not always accurate but great for learning Apr 22, 2021

    By 1derbread
So I have using the app for a year and a half before deciding to review. I have found that it works 75% of the time. The app has told me that my fasting window is to close even though I am only 3 hours into my 6 hour fast. The count down time shows that I have 35 minutes left. I mean I’m not a dope... I can figure it out but it is nice to be able to review your week’s progress. Other instances show that I fasted for 35 hours on a weekly view, but when you looks at the individual day it shows that it was my actual 21 hour fast. Anyways other than that I really enjoy the reminder to end and begin a fast. It helps me keep in line with my plans. It would be great if the link for app support worked as a link to an email to alert the app developers it has some bugs, but it is impossible to find a “contact us” button or phone or email.
  • Buggy weight tracking May 11, 2020

    By HdudivbxhbkceanilSv
I like the fasting timer, the flexibility of fasting times and the educational content, tips and encouragement. However, the weight tracking is very buggy. The data for the week sometimes appears to be in kilos instead of pounds (set my target to 55 lbs at one point. The weight trend for the week usually looks OK, but then when I show the month trend, it shows a single weight data point that Is lower than I ever recorded. So, I figured there must have been an incorrect entry and went to edit my data and it’s all in kilos again. I ended up deleting about half of the data points, but it still isn’t showing correctly. If this continues to be buggy, I don’t plan to renew since I already have a more reliable weight tracker. Also, the food tracker is beyond bad. I couldn’t even find something as basic as bread to enter for tracking, so I don’t use it at all.
  • Need to give feedback Apr 7, 2021

    By Mommawazer13
Overall the app is a nice way to remind me to complete my goal of intermittent fasting and a nice reminder to drink water and get up to move around. I have no complaints about the basic free services. I realize to utilize more tools, there is a paid version. My concern and the reason I cannot give 5 stars is there are minor glitches but they’re annoying. 1. The feature to add a ‘fast’ if I failed to activate the timer etc does not work. I am able to click the plus icon in the Recent Fasts view and put in all details of my fast but the green ‘add’ button does not work. 2. Daily water supply, ‘edit data’ does not work either. I only get a list of the water ounces I logged daily but I can’t select the day and add water. Those two features are kind of important. Thank you.
  • Could absolutely be better Dec 7, 2020

    By Dabudedabuda
I have the paid version for about a month now and since the most recent update, it doesn’t save your additions to the water tracker. As soon as I add a glass of water and back out of the app, it disappears. Part of the reason I wanted this app is to keep up with my water intake, and since the 1st of December there is no history for it. Please fix ASAP, it’s very annoying. If you’re on the fence about purchasing the premium version, I wouldn’t. The only upside I’ve found is being able to view their recipes, which do not appeal to me in the least and there are free healthy recipes everywhere. The only thing this app is good for (to me) is the fasting timer, but I absolutely could have stuck with the free version for that. Paying was definitely a waste of money that I regret.
  • Love the premise, but the execution (app) has problems. Dec 3, 2020

    By Pschnoor9
I’m into my 7th week with Fastic, and the original version of the app was great; the library and dietary aids are especially appreciated. The water tracker is nice, but in the new version it resets to zero whenever you close the app. In the library, The lessons progressed from the articles that are available there (and are still available - a check mark indicates when the lesson is completed); and new lessons are presented daily, but they cannot be reviewed again once read as they do not show up in the library. I have every intention of remaining with this app as it is the best I have found for support and information; however, I would really like to see these bugs resolved.

  • Glitching Aug 8, 2020

    By Goodlkras
I’m enjoying the timer and reminders to drink and log water. However, every few days — just before I reach a straight week of logging fasts — the app erases one or two of my completed fasting days, and deletes all of the “flames” I’ve accumulated. It’s not like the flames are money in my pocket, but it’s discouraging when you’re trying to maintain motivation and challenge yourself. The visuals of the flames and the consecutive days do motivate (actually, why would they even have them if they weren’t?). I started taking pictures of every completed day to prove to myself that I wasn’t crazy. Sure enough, at midnight just when I’m logging a solid week, boom! a completed day disappeared. Either way, having completed days randomly disappear week after week bugs me, even if it’s inconsequential. I’m looking for another fasting app to switch to.
  • Should be more positive Jul 17, 2020

    By Poetic Pony
Have only used for a few days. Paid for 3 month subscription for the “plus” app. Helps with tracking of water intake and fasting times. Had great daily additional challenges- but would be better offered up the day prior so you can plan. If you do t succeed the daily challenge you get labeled “FAILED” What a horrible way to motivate new life changes. I hate this app for this reason alone. Also cannot log steps manually. Doesn’t log steps at all. Can’t sync with my fit bit & my phone doesn’t travel everywhere with me. Can’t log bicycling time or strenuous activity time. No way to ask for tech support - Just FAQs. Should have a one week free trial or ability to cancel subscription within the first week if not happy. No recourse as there is no way to contact developer/ app site.
  • Recipes are not Paleo/keto/low carb friendly May 9, 2020

    By chol3618
I was very excited to try this app for help with fasting times and trying new recipes. I have had problems with intermittent fasting because I have not found many recipes that will keep me full overnight and until mid-morning, so I thought this was going to be the perfect app for help. Despite marking that I wanted to keep to a Paleo diet, the recipes that showed up included flour and dairy, two things that are on the “avoid” list for paleo. I thought it might be a glitch, so I switched my preference to the Ketogenic diet. This still was not helpful, as most of the recipes were over 30 carbs per serving. As a last ditch effort, I switched my preference to a “low carb” diet, and there was no change in the recipes that were shown at all. I am very disappointed in this selection.
  • This app needs way better UX Apr 10, 2021

    By luly2913
I like the friendliness of the app but it’s not user friendly. It expects you to start and end the fast every day which is not necessary. I have been fasting regularly for one week on a 14:10 basis and didn’t realize I needed to start and end each fast (ridiculous) so it kept tracking as if I was fasting for 59 hours just because I did not end the fast on the third day. I should be able to go back and edit to correct but NO, NOT POSSIBLE. You can’t go back to edit anything on days that have passed: fasting times, water, etc. I am ready to delete this app. I work with web developers developing sites and apps all the time, who developed this? You have to put user first! So user-centered design. Sigh. It’s too bad because I like the UI.
  • It’s great but... May 11, 2021

    By Holyrollerholyghost93726
I like the app a lot but it does not integrate with my fit bit or my husband’s Apple Watch. I’d love to be able to input my step at the very least. There is no way to change data in the 21 day challenges once you click no thanks you cannot go back and change it. Even if it was an accident because the two buttons are so close together. Some design flaws I would love to talk to the developers about to get changed. I just paid $40 for this app for a whole year so I would really like to see these things change ASAP. I love love love looooove this app and it’s so dang helpful I have used it for 30 days and my skin is so healthy looking and my body is looking amazing too. I want to give five stars but not with these obvious design flaws.
  • Problems Mar 29, 2021

    By Jaki102
I’m not on this thing daily so many times I have to manually add in fasts. Also, if I’m fasting I don’t need the app to end it for me when it “thinks” I stopped. Many times I do 2-3 days so no need to go on to the app. So now, I’m not able to add in my fasts... Deleted, reinstalled and still the same non working app. Next I tried signing out which was useless because now I need to sign in again and have zero clue what the email I used is...I have zero patience for crap that doesn’t work. I’m also not interested in the paid version as all I do is put in start and finish times. I don’t need some app to “keep track” of how much water I’m drinking either. I eat when I’m hungry and drink when I’m thirsty. That’s what nature intended.
  • Buyer beware, Glitchy and deceptive marketing Mar 18, 2021

    By franklybill

  • Limited Ability to Edit Time Jul 3, 2020

  • Biggest Scam & Horrible Customer Service Apr 18, 2021

    By L@uReN
I have NEVER, in my life, seen such shotty customer service. After a few short days, I realized IF was not for me & I did not want to pay for this subscription after my free trial. I searched the site, emailed customer service, reached out via social medial for a week to get help. No one would respond. The steps for cancellation only work if you paid for your subscription via App Store. Somehow, they managed to get my PayPal information for money, however. The steps for cancellation via PayPal are not listed on their site. I, thankfully, was able to search cancelling PayPal subscriptions and figure it out. After they took my $30. Do not waste your money. If you want to try IF, go for it, but don’t waste your money on this app. I can assure you, it is not worth it.
