  • Another wonderful title by Pixelfade Aug 22, 2020

Once again Pixelfade does what they do best, make a visual novel that is not only heartwarming, but extremely enjoyable and memorable. You may not have giant robots or a magical world to explore, but you have a person from a new world, wonderful relatives that run a great bakery, a quiet girl who is beautiful inside and out, and of course, whatever a Kosei is. With such talented voice work from people like Megan Shipman, Kira Buckland, Lilypichu, Joshua Waters, and so many more other terrific voice actors, CGs that can cause a great many emotions, a well written story filled with love, family, friends, and the important things in life, and of course another excellent soundtrack by the always amazing Eric Benaim, Ethereal Enigma is another sign of Pixelfade’s consistency to create visual novels that are not just entertaining, but can create lasting memories or even inspire you to be a better you. Whatever you get from this game I’m sure it will be positive, no matter your feelings on visual novels.

  • PixelFade never disappoints!!! (Part two) Aug 22, 2020

On top of what I said before, their games aren’t expensive either. $10 is well worth the time and effort put into each Novel, I look forward to seeing their future projects. So incredible both cast and crew are so amazing and they make you feel like you’re truly part of the story, sorry for rambling so much to whomever is reading this, but I love everyone at PixelFade and all who are involved (voice actors/actresses, development team, director, all of you!!). I’m starting college and these novels really help melt the stress away. Thank you so much!

Ethereal Enigma was sooo good. I saw multiple ratings saying that game is super short, but there are multiple endings, and a lot of game time. It took me a few days to get all the way through and see every ending. This is one of the absolute best visual novels I have ever read through and played. PixelFade outdid themselves again with this game. I wish I could give it more than five stars. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a good time and find a great story. Absolute masterpiece.

BEST VISUAL NOVEL EVER! but I hope the next visual novels are a little better with endings, for example more possible endings like a harem one, a bad ending, or even one with every relationship just being platonic, etc.

I liked it, but it feels like a step back from Crystalline in terms of narrative complexity. Nevertheless, I eagerly look forward to the next Pixelfade title.

The story is good. The only problem I've had is when i finished my first playthrough and tried to start the second one the skip feature didn't work. I went to options so I could change it to skip all but that still didn't work. I've also been wondering why you guys stopped adding the gallery in your games after ace academy.

Overall Game is Good, Perfect story. I love how there's a side character from previous games fit in the script. But Lacks of illustration in some scene, that's a pity. The ending is not like how I expected, I prefer if the story would be forward 2 or 3 years to view their future, cuz you just left me hanging before credit (same like Ace Academy). Maybe Cristallyne ending with the protagonist and main heroine finally receive happy ending would be good. Hoping for sequel or new games tho.

Great story and characters again from Pixelfade and it never disappoints me. The reason I gave this a 4 is because the skip (with unread option) is not working. Pls. fix.
