Kut app - Fox app was 10000x beter
Fox sports was top, topscorers van de competitie kon je zien en per speelronde overzichtelijk alle wedstrijden. Toen kwam ESPN en nu is het helemaal kut. Echt verschrikkelijk.AppGrooves User

No good way to prevent spoilers when opening the app to watch a replay. Casting to a Chromecast Ultra is awkward and clunky, and using on a device with a remote is only marginally better. Controls for fast forward and rewind are very bad and there are no thumbnails. The search function is very poor. The app hasn't seen significant improvements in quite some time. I only use it because it's the only place to watch many games, though it's definitely better than not being able to watch them.

I can't watch what I'd like to, despite making an account, creating an email and spend over 2 hours trying to figureout how to watch my brothers baseball games. this is absolutely frustrating and time consuming, while I've been missing the game this entire time! I registered, created an account and password, I confirmed all info and then all of that for it to say that the channel I am trying to watch isn't available to my plan. rediculous.

Why would anyone pay just to pin live scores instead of actually watching the game!? Google gives you the same service for FREE! the only reason I tried this app is cause the disney+ bundle and thankfully I didn't get desprate and pay for the "+" version. Don't waste your time or money on this. Try to find some pirate website to watch games instead, less headache and cheaper for sure. Dear Espn rats, gofyourself.

This WAS my favorite app
Up until a couple of months ago I used this app daily on my iPhone. I loved being able to watch my favorite shows live or on replay at the office. I also enjoyed being able to watch live sporting events when traveling for work. Then one day I couldn’t watch anything on my iPhone anymore. Either I get an error message saying “something went wrong, please try again later” or just a spinning wheel that goes for awhile before timing out. The app for my Roku still works fine but by I have very little free time on weekdays it’s almost pointless. The whole reason I got the app was so I could catch Get Up and a few other shows away from home, so I could “watch from anywhere” like their commercials always say. I had hoped that their recent update would fix the problem but no such luck. Oh, and one last thing, I’ve tried chatting with support twice. The first time nobody ever contacted me like they said they would and the second time they asked a few questions and then just stopped, never to be heard from again. I tried all of the things they asked (power cycling my iPhone, uninstalling the app and then downloading it again, etc. Nothing worked and I am beyond disgusted at this point. I still watch ESPN at home and still love the shows I like, it’s just too bad I don’t get to watch nearly as often as I used too.... It used to be a 5 star rating, now not so much.

Seems like nothing loads, linked videos, articles always pop up a blank screen. For as big a name as ESPN is you would think their app would be better

People have been telling me for years that your app just trash and finally it hit me after 5 years you know what? They are right! Your app is a slow, glitchy, & an odd piece of garbage. You are such a rich company. Like what's the deal?
-
After working for a whopping 24 hours, I could no longer watch videos. Kept saying I needed to restore my account even though I just subscribed yesterday. Not worth the hassle or the money.

Offered a deal but didn't honor it and made me pay full price. Support ignored all emails I sent them

Suboptimal, very suboptimal. I keep getting errors for content i pay for. The customization is superficial. I've picked the teams and leagues I'm interested, i do not need to be shown anything else. App loads slowly too. I'm on a oneplus 7 pro, so not state of the art, but plenty of muscle for a better experience.

How?
I honestly have no idea how a company with as much money as this has such an awful app. It’s slow, bordering on unresponsive sometimes. My phone is flaming hot after a few minutes of use on the app, although that could just be my phone and not the app. I get a lot of alerts on from ESPN, but when I click on them, it’s about a 50/50 shot of whether or not I get to see what I clicked. Ads freeze all the time, keeping me from getting to a video I click on. Videos also typically start at about 4 pixels on the screen and get marginally better as the video goes on, no matter if I’m connected to my very good WiFi or my cellular data. The amount of content is also a little subpar. When you look at an app like Bleacher Report that produces an insane amount of well-done and free content on an app that actually works, the paywall of ESPN+ is just silly. Streaming from the app is also nearly impossible for me. But the website is just as bad. The content that I actually get to see is usually pretty good stuff, making it a two star rating instead of a one star. Considering the money ESPN and Disney have, they should be embarrassed about the quality of their app and their website. -
Could be great, but won’t save your place!!
I recently subscribed because of the Disney bundle and there are a lot of things I really am liking about ESPN +. I love all the old programming like all the archived Indy 500 races and Mohamed Ali fights. I also really like all the ESPN original programming like Payton’s places and being able to access all of the 30 for 30 episodes. That for me is probably one of the best things about the subscription. My frustration comes because a lot of those shows are long and I don’t watch them in one sitting You would think that there would be a ‘continue watching’ feature like every other paid, streaming subscription but there isn’t. I contacted ESPN and was told to just “remember where you were.” That seems so silly and unnecessary. Please ESPN, add a ‘continue watching’ feature and I will be a 5 star happy customer. As it is right now I have to scroll back through programming, find the show I was watching, click on it, and try to remember where I was and start fast forwarding which is a huge pain if your like me and watch different shows depending on the mood you are in. -
Clicking on links to shortcuts in articles refreshes the page instead of taking you where you wanted to go...accidentally rotating the screen causes the page to refresh, connectivity with the Watch function is terrible with buffering and lacks any significant features. Overall, a pretty bad experience.

Wow... where to begin? Well I've subscribed to your app on and off over the past 3 or 4 years only keeping it for about 2 months at a time. That's because I realize, again, just how terrible your streaming feature is! Seriously guys it's been years and years now, nobody should have to deal with it buffering 2 and 3 times a round while I'm trying to watch a boxing match. FIX...YOUR... APP!!! Hello!? Is anyone out there!? Hmm, Guess not. Just trying to fill up all 500 characters now🤬.............
