This game is great, it has everything that i was looking for, it talks during the events ( dressage, cross crountry, show jumping) just like it would in real life, i would definitely recommend this to every equestrian and everyone who loves horses, great work. I love it. Thank you so much for fixing thr bug, now it officially let me install it once again and the black screen is all gone.

  • Love the game but it’s definitely buggy Nov 12, 2020

    By Sarahcudaa
I understand the game is new but it’s pretty buggy. I love the concept and I can’t wait to see future updates because this game definitely has potential. I would give it more stars but I’m getting pretty annoyed at a lot of the bugs that I’ve come across. The one that has annoyed me the most is how buggy the teams seem to be. I spent gold horseshoes to create a team and within a day my team just disappeared like I never created it. Also while I had the team although myself and teammates were earning “team points” we were still at zero? Not quite sure how that works. I definitely want to create that team again... but maybe I’ll wait until a patch/update comes out so I don’t end up wasting 50 gold horseshoes to do it. The controls are a bit clunky but I like the lay out. It’s really hard to do well consistently as the timing aspect, timed arrows, doesn’t seem to have much affect on whether you get a perfect jump or not. As soon as you think you figured it out you end up failing or getting “good” jumps. Also the gaits could use a little work but for a mobile game they’re not bad at all. Overall I’m pretty happy with the game and all the potential it has. It definitely needs to be polished up but once the bugs are fixed and the game is smoothed out a bit I think it will be one of the best mobile horse games available. It’s just a diamond in the rough right now.

...there are several things that are buggy. Twice while doing the Land Rover event, the horse went way out out of the map and I was not able to return. This happened once during cross country and once during show jumping. It is really frustrating when you’re doing well in a event, and then you have to quit it because you can’t complete a phase. It is especially annoying when you purchased energy for that event. Also at times the rein control will crossover to the speed controls and it causes the player to mess up. The scoring system is weird because half of the competitors get a zero after dressage. It would be cool to add different tack for different phases like breastplates, martingales, and such. It would also be helpful if there was a way to do schooling that is not the exhibition for the different phases. More diversity in characters would be great as well. All in all, I really enjoy this game. As someone who has evented before, I appreciate how this game is so much more realistic than many others. It is so cool how Land Rover and Badminton are realistic!!! This one was actually made by horse people. It really is an awesome game. I can not wait to see what comes next!

Irritated by the controls. I can hit "take off" in the same spot over two different jumps and be told "too soon" or "perfect jump". No tutorial on how to read the controls, you're told "figure it out" in the beginning. Cleaning the horse is weird- what's with the golden spot and how do I hit it consistently? Graphics are good, but certain gameplay aspects are quite poor. Include a tutorial on when to take off/press action during dressage, please. I'm getting frustrated.

  • Good to see another horse app game Nov 5, 2020

This was a surprise to see on the App Store! It’s definitely a good start for a quality horse app game. I wanted to give it 5 stars (Horse enthusiast and rider here!) but found the game lacking in a few areas. Of course, I know that’s to be expected since the game only just released. Currently steering the horse is incredibly clonky, at times it’s like controlling a whale, honestly. Whether it’s something to do with the training or what it’s just unwieldy at times particularly in dressage or when the horse decides it no longer wants to run straight in cross country. The brushing mini game is a bit strange at times because you can’t tell where the dirt is once the horse is mostly clean and it ends up with an angry horse when you brush the wrong places. Outside of that I know the game can only grow from here on and out but here’s some suggestions! The ability to name our horses would be great with defined genders of stallions/mares. In addition, what’s a horse game without the addition of breeding horses and raising your next champion produced from your own horses (look to Rival Stars Horse Racing!) Sorry for the long review but hey if you’re reading this at all, kudos to the beginnings of an awesome game!

I played for a total of fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes, and I can already tell this isn't a great game. For little kids, sure, fine, but it's not similar to real life riding. Te graphics are.. okay..? And the grooming function is unclear and boring, I can't figure that out. The jumping is unrealistic, and the way you control your horse is weird. The riding is also extremely unrealistic, you sorta just bounce, not having any sort of deep seat as a good rider, you don't sit the trot nor post.

It’s very unclear about how to raise a horse’s stats. I’ve sent my horse to training countless times and the training time just keeps stacking up, but my horse never seems improved afterward. I had to leave in the middle of a grand prix and it told me my horse’s condition would deteriorate. I figured I’d just give it extra care and it would be okay. Nope! The condition is all the way down, and I can’t get it up. Whenever I care for it, the condition lowers more. I cared for its hooves and the agility plummeted. I have no idea what to do now. It’s ridiculous that leaving a game causes the horse’s condition to be destroyed. Sometimes people have to leave games. Isnt it enough of a punishment that I just wasted my energy? Not to mention all the bugs. I’ve been in so many games where it won’t register that I’m trying to speed up my horse or it’ll lag on my jumps. I know I’m not the best at the game and some of it’s my fault. But there’s definitely a lot of times that it just bugs out and won’t register what I’m doing. Was fun for the first few levels. Don’t know if I’ll keep playing since my horse’s condition is stuck on poor indefinitely.

The games scoring is terrible. It makes me want to delete the game every time I compete. I could be first throughout the first two competitions, and then SJ comes and I'm all the way in 17th when throughout the whole thing I was first. And, the other competitors times do not move until the end. Throughout the whole thing they could be 1.42 and then when I am on my last jump they move down to 1.20 and I get sixth instead of the first I should've had. Don't waste your time with this app.

I love the idea of this game and when I first found out about it I was ecstatic. The way the game looks is amazing and I love the graphics and the animations. There’s one thing I’d like to say, though. The game is extremely difficult and it’s hard for me to enjoy it that way. When you compete, the times for the npc opponents aren’t in and sometimes are based around your score, thus making it hard to get 1st-3rd place. There are a few times I’d get lucky and win a second or third but I haven’t been able to get first. I don’t believe that it’s impossible to get first place, I just believe it’s extremely difficult. The game would be so much more fun for me (and for a few of my friends who also play the game) if it could be just a bit easier. The point of games is to have fun and this one just makes me feel frustrated. I find it easier to win 1st place in actual eventing shows than it is on this game.

Overall this is a really great horse game. The graphics are really good for a new game, and it is one of the few horse games I've played that are actually good. Someone else mentioned adding a trail ride feature and that would be great if that could happen in the future. One of the best parts of this game, is the fact unlike most horse games that I've played, you don't need to spend 300 dollars or wait 16 hours just to be able to play the game.

I don’t often write reviews but felt I needed to for this game. I’ve been searching and searching for the perfect game and I’m so happy I found it. As a real life pro eventer, it’s cool to be able to play a game and have it be realistic for the most part. The scoring is more accurate than I typically see. But still slightly off but isn’t huge. I do wish if you scored better in shows you got more XP. I also wish there were more options. Like training that isn’t a show or some free riding. But also the exhibition rides are pretty similar to that so it’s not a huge issue. I also think breeding would be an awesome thing to do. As well as I wish the price you could sell your horse for could be higher depending on what they’ve done. There isn’t much I’d change. But just some of the little things.

  • Awesome equestrian game Feb 12, 2021

    By Dolphinminer123
There is not many actual equestrian games out there so it is nice to see one that is not a horse girl game. This game is ver realistic but I would like to see more jumping tack in the game. It seems like it is more gear towards dressage with the gear selection. I would maybe like to see more jump saddles and saddle pads. Maybe even make some jumping boots and cross country boots. And like how you can choose your outfit for your person for each event in style I would also like to see that for the horses. It just makes more sense like that. Having your horse do cross country in polo wraps and a dressage saddle makes me cringe. But overall this game is awesome.

  • Lots of Potential! Dec 16, 2020

I wish I could give this game 5 stars right now, but there’s quite a few things that I think need to be fixed before I could do that. The game is overall very fun to play, the graphics are awesome and I love being able to customize with realistic tack and clothing. The scoring system needs some work and is quite buggy, almost every other show I compete in every participant gets a score of zero and I’ll place last even if I win each event. The timing system for movements and jumps could also use some work, sometimes the jump or movement meter will not reach where it’s supposed to so it’s impossible to get a perfect jump. It’s also very hard to increase your horses’ stats - it’s really annoying that you can only care for your horse one time in between competitions and get only a few points in that skill, if it gives you any at all. Despite all of the bugs and minor annoyances, this is a great game that I will keep playing, and see a lot of potential for it!

  • Would give 5 stars BUT.... Nov 8, 2020

This game is so fun and entertaining. It’s almost perfect. Here are the things that I think should be fixed/upgraded! (Seeing how the game literally just came in the App Store it’s pretty good! This is just future suggestions!) 1. When the horse is in any gait it’s pretty unrealistic, same as the rider. Instead of long, graceful strides, there short and seemed forced. 2. When I’m in any competition the gait is immediately in a gallop and sometimes, no matter how many times I press the ‘slow down’ button, it continues to gallop. This makes it difficult especially in the dressage competitions. 3. Why can’t I name my own horse? It’s pretty annoying when I hate the name Tanner and I want my horses name to be Chariot. 4. When I train my horse it takes so long for the wait. At first it starts off short times but as you progress it takes like 3 hours. 5. There isn’t much energy when your doing big competitions. That’s all the game is overall good since it’s pretty new. Keep up the good work! Edit: I’ve been playing the game for a little longer and it’s great! The only thing I would recommend is maybe free riding like, you get to ride freely not JUST doing jumping and dressage. I would also suggest breeding? I know the game doesn’t specify whether the horse is a stallion or a mare but I think it would be a great and fun new add on to the game!

So being a horse lover and more so a pc gaming horse lover I was so bummed when all of the horse games seemed to disappear from the grid & popularity of young girls and people in general but this game gives me so much hope , I know it’s fairly new in development but thank you for creating such a diverse horse gaming experience & this is only the beginning! I love how professional everything is, I love the graphics and the diversity of characters. Thank you for adding indigenous riders! It’s probably the first time I’ve been able to choose someone who looks like me. The competitions are challenging & I like how it is 3 day eventing. Now for the stars , so I only gave 4/5 because of the small bugs within the competition circuit. Sometimes the arrows don’t really consider a perfect / good jump to failing so that can be a little annoying at times. As for teams and rankings , is there a way to specify your country? I see Oceania a lot but when making a team for North America it doesn’t seem to register & I cant find any friends to request :/ Last but not least It would be so awesome to have maybe free riding/ trail riding and maybe training? Other than that the game is so much fun and I love how you are not bombarded with ads & how the prices are reasonable. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.🦄❤️🐴

has so much potential to be a good game, but it disappoints. there should be more competitions in the grand prix series because you have to repeatedly do the same ones over and over again, just to SLOWLY make your way up another 10 levels to unlock the next series. either add more courses, or shorten the gap on the levels you need. prices are too high and graphics could be better; lots of clipping, rigging for the models could be better along with overall animation, and STILL quite a few bugs.

So i tryed the newly released horse game equestriad world tour i and im not impressed at all so first impressions of the horses movements umm the jumps are not good at all the moment of the horse and rider is vary stiff not fluid at all The developers of the game claimed that they have used world renowned equestrians to help them with the development and it be as realistic as possible but to me it seems more like someone who’s never seen horse moments before at all and its just not good got kicked out of the game with the first 5 minutes, it froze on me after the show jumping event tutorial and when it wanted me to train my horse it never gave me the xp for it when you go to groom the horse there is a tame function and if you hit a certain spot on the horse (the rump) it gets in a bad mode , real life horse dont mind being brushed there so i know its a new game and thay are still trying to improve maybe, idk but ya needs a lot if work right now if i had to rate it right not probably half a star at best but i cant do half stars so
