DID NOT DOWNLOAD
Sep 3, 2020 I am so disappointed because I was excited that there was an app for Encounter and it does not work at all. I gave it one star for the effort of coming up with an APP. -
Repeated monthly fee daily
Oct 24, 2015 I'm not sure why but each day I pull. Up my reading I keep getting charged another month. I really enjoy the daily readings but the repeated charges are not worth the reading. Hope you can fix this bug before I delete this app Bh more -
Paid version doesn't sync with paper version
Feb 23, 2017 I'm using this for a Bible study. Some people have the paper version, I wanted to get the app. The trial went smoothly enough but when I purchased a year for $13.99 something strange happened. The app was in the book of Acts while the paper version was in Hebrews. This makes the app useless for my Bible study because I will be reading different verses than the rest of the group. more -

Nov 26, 2015 Thank you for this app. Having these notes available in my pocket all the time is definitely helpful if the daily routine is disrupted. To my eye, the layout would be clearer if the footnote numbers were superscript rather than the same font as the text. I have android 4.4.4 on a tablet and 5.0 on my phone, and the observation applies to both. Thanks. more

What’s Groovy
I like it but the commentary is written in very academic language meaning that many people just wouldn't understand it. Makes it quite exclusive. Would like the writers to think about the language they use in order to make it more accessible.

What’s Subpar
Very disappointed that the opening pararagraph and in particular the closing prayer are not included. I would prefer the scripture reading included so that as references to verses are made in the commentary I can easily flip back to check them. Am deleting this and going back to the American app which has a much better design.
