I play all of the G5 Mahjong series- this one, pyramid of mahjong & emperor of mahjong. They are all sooooo much fun! These games are filled with endless hours of relaxation, using your brain to complete tasks & keep busy during this topsy-turvy time w/ Covid-19. I’m enjoying every moment playing each of G5’s Mahjong series with the fun filled events they have also. I’m so happy I found my new favorite game(s). ☺️ Thank you G5 for being a reputable, enjoyable, excellent game site. Your games never let me down & I’ve been a loyal member since 2008 when I played Sims 2 castaway. I’ll continue to be a loyal member to a great gaming company who uses the best graphics & content for eternity.

  • Hey, this GAME is a great surprise! Oct 13, 2020

    By 1stCeye
I’m saving the last star for later. I hope the game stays just as it is. I am enjoying it immensely! WHY? Because so far, there are no timers, no ‘lighting’ pieces to push you to hurry, the music is comfortable, the game theme is different and interesting, it hasn’t cost me a dime (yet) ; no one has asked either! The Tiles are regular objects and easy to see....There are no ads....I select a goal, the screen does its thing and I sit back and choose my tiles to play. LISTEN: they carry the rules of Mahjong very strictly. There are helps and prompts available, but I’m afraid THAT will cost. You can complete every game without them! No rush, by watching the shadows on the tiles, ie, is this tile open? ***The only PROBLEM is that I cannot sign in. The G5 computer has decided they already have someone using my email (me, from past games...), and so I cannot get extra points by inviting friends....(and I WOULD invite my friends...this is a good game).....it HAS my birthdate, but is being an unintelligent, programmed badly, tin can! And my posts are being ignored, so far. ***Wanna earn that last STAR, G5......?

  • Pretty fun game Oct 22, 2020

I just started playing, so I really can’t say if it’s a 5 star game. But, so far, it’s been pretty fun. I’ll update this when I feel like I can give a better review Update: If your familiar with G5 games, then you’ll quickly feel at home with this game. It starts out simply, but gets increasingly harder. You collect items to combine for a collection and to get prizes. It’s exactly like most of all their games. What I do like about this one is the story line is cute and there isn’t a timer. I hate timed games. I play to relax not be under stress to beat a timer. So... I think I’ll keep this one for awhile. It’s been a great way to unwind and kill some time.

This has the great playability of Mahjong Emperor without the frustrating glitches, and unlike Mahjong Pyramid, the tiles are not overly complex (and no irritating horns after each game - but the “Yeehaw” did get turned off later). Full player visit function, and plenty of space for expansion. Good storyline with opportunities for many future events. I hate myself for liking some of the music though (“We have both kinds of music, Country AND Western!” 🤣).

Would of given more, but buy shuffle part is not right. Why do u have to pay? I was enjoying it till this happen, Also the energy is used up rather quickly IMHO. I am not the only one who feels this way. I would like to know what happens to items used to play the game? Why purchase to lose them? This happens with your Rome, Egypt and West games both making and the match three.

I have trouble telling the tiles apart, and wish all levels could be won. But I did like that the game is based on mahjong because I am so tired of match-3 games. It could have better instructions and a help area. The explanations are not clear. If I mess up, that's my fault, but every level should be winnable without having to buy anything! It feels like there are too many purchases required to advance! No buy-no wins. Will be removing.

Disappointed. Once you get past the tutorial more times than not during each game there are "no more moves" Seems you have to purchase items to advance. I enjoyed it in the beginning but its not worth continuing if every or every other game is frequently "no more moves ". Not saying it needs to be easy but definitely does seem fair to be almost forced to purchase items to advance in your game play. Edit: I have taken 30 screenshots in less than 24 hours of no moves left. Would be happy to email.

Could give more experience each time so it's quicker to level up and could give an option to change the tile faces.

Once you run out of dice to reshuffle the tiles, you have to have use red gems to buy more, AND you can't use the ton of coins you have amassed to buy those gems...you have to use your hard earned cash, which in this pandemic, is hard to come by. So, the developers come across as only interested in sucking you into the game so they can force you to pay them to continue playing. Pretty low down.

Game has potential but the game drags you around at the start instead of allowing you to freely play, (there should be an option to skip the tutorial). The game is not like the ads that brought me to the game; false advertisement games immediately get a one star. If you’re proud of your game put ads with actual game play instead of misleading people to try it.

I am truly liking this game. I started out by playing the Mahjongg Empire game and then I was on Facebook this morning and an ad for this game came up. As I really liked the other mahjong game I have been playing I decided to download this one. I am very happy that I did. Have been playing for over 3 hours now and fully intend to keep on playing. Thank you for this game. I look forward to many more games from G5!

I normally don’t play game apps but I got an ad for it and downloaded it and actually played it but it’s actually pretty fun. It’s relaxing to play and the music is nice. It’s a good game to zone out too and better than something like candy crush because you feel like you’re actually building the town. It’s a fun game and if you like mahjong then you will like this game.

Good game, I like it but I dont like being forced to use the special items. Either tell me what they do or give the first for free. Also a log in and guest option before entering game would be wonderful for those that switch phones.

The games are redundant; but collecting the items is fun UNTIL....You get to the point where the need for tools, etc to win, becomes costly. HOPE YOU'RE RICH!!! I am a good player & high achiever, so constantly losing, 5-6 times or more is frustrating & depressing. Jenny L.L.

I love this game but the fact that you have to spend actual money to receive the diamonds and money that you have already earned by playing the game seems like a money grab. I’m sure there are some young people who will pay that money, but i am a retired senior citizen who can not afford to waste my money on that!. Besides it seems a little unethical.

  • Out of moves too often Oct 19, 2020

    By danwgd
I really enjoy playing this game; almost everything about it is fun. I can only give 3 stars because, about 4 out of 5 times, I run out of possible moves when I almost have it solved. Makes playing much less enjoyable knowing the odds are against me. I’ve tried different strategies, but the results are the same-defeat. Most games will shuffle the playing pieces when moves are exhausted. Wondering why that can’t be done with this one? Frustration is causing me to search for something similar and abandon this one. Thanks for reading this.

Has the same storyline as the Western match G5 game. Needs more adventure, i.e. gladiators and weapons would be a good change. First 5 levels are for beginners. After that the game gets a little harder.

So, same complaint. I've been keeping track of how many times I have to complete a collection to get a bonus piece for the rarities collections, I needed 13 more pieces, completed 13 collections, still need 10. I think every time this game has an event, it reverts to only handing out 2 of the 4 pieces needed for the rarities, which detracts from the fun of the game of not being able to complete all of the collections. This is the 2nd time I've complained. Please fix this bug.

like the game, however! I do not have much time to play, and just reached level four at certain locations and having to play the puzzles at least 10 or more times to beat it I find is not enjoyable. I cannot imagine what level 15 will be.

I loved playing this game. The downside that has caused me to remove the game is that it is impossible to move forward without spending money. I have played some levels dozens of times. It is maddening. I don’t mind spending some money but to have to do it over and over again is not okay. It takes all the fun out of playing.
