  • Really Fun and challenging, but... Jan 5, 2021

There needs to be a system where when you solve a room you get +1 hint. Because there are sometimes in the game where you have no idea what to do. You’ve rotated and tapped on everything and a hint usually points you to some minuet detail that’s very easy to miss. I rarely need hints but when I do it’s a very hard puzzle that’s usually in the dark. They need to also work on brightening up the game. It randomly dims and in dark rooms in game it’s hard to see what you can tap on, it’s easy to miss stuff that way. So more ways to get free hints are needed. And come on, 2 dollars for 5 hints? A bit ridiculous. Should at least be 10+

Very nice graphics, but lighting is dim. Some puzzle details are too small to see well on a phone screen. But the puzzles are very nice and interesting with variety! You will need patience and sometimes try a few solutions. Very CPU intensive so your phone will get warm and drains the battery quickly. I highly recommend at least trying it out. I was able to solve ALL the puzzles without any hints, tips or cheats. You have to be patient and enjoy thinking.

This is easily one of the more “interesting” escape games I’ve played. I say interesting because it was at first something of a love/hate relationship. Clearly it is modeled after “The Room”, but lacks much of that game’s polish. The controls can be intensely frustrating at times: the 3D panning is either unresponsive or like you’re caught in a tornado, and object interaction is often finicky, especially when trying to drag something. And the puzzles... some were, in my book, a bit obscure, requiring more guessing than solving. At least once, I sat there going, “What the heck is there even to do?”. But honestly, guessing the intent of some puzzles turned out to be as much fun as solving the logical ones- which btw, this game had some of the better I’ve seen. There was just enough difficulty, for whatever the reason, to keep me challenged without utterly putting me off, and a certain sense of “weirdness” about the puzzle constructs that compelled me to stay engaged. To top it off, I managed to finish the game (by God’s grace) without using any hints, so in my moment of satisfaction I felt overall the game is worth 5 stars, but I can understand how others might feel less generous.

I have played all the different types of escape games you can find in the App Store and had thought that I had a favorite developer until I came across your games. The escape games that you’ve created are hands down the best ones I’ve played (all of them), but especially this game. Thank you so much for creating these games and making them free to play. I am broke and can’t afford to buy games and I have no days off at the moment but your games get me through long boring days and I’ve never had so much fun playing a game! The level of detail as well as the creativity behind each puzzle in the games is mind blowing. You are awesome!! Keep doing what you are doing. Side note - Iv never ever taken the time to rate a game or write a review, but I just had to for your games because you need to know how awesome people think they are!

For a free game, it’s pretty good. Not too many ads and when they do pop up, they’re really short. Game play is a bit clunky but for what it is, not a bad way to kill some time. Puzzles are sometimes easy to figure out but annoying to place properly. Other areas entail more guess work than intuition. Sometimes you click and nothing happens then you click again and nothing happens but you click again and something pops up. Wasted use of hints. Needs refinement but overall an ok game.

I really tried to play this game and was enjoying it at first, but the puzzle with the rings in level three was a complete misery. Sorry, but it just wasn’t fun. I don’t want to spend a gazillion hours trying to understand the complex mechanics so I can beat it, or an equal number of hours going in circles with trial and error. This puzzle seriously needs a skip option in my opinion. 3 stars because there’s a lot of good here, but only three because level three was so annoying and frustrating that it took all the fun out of it. Deleting. Let me know if it ever gets updated with a skip option.

I play a lot of puzzle/escape game and normally I breeze through them. This game was way more challenging than I anticipated and I really enjoyed it. The puzzles force you to think logically and pay attention to detail. I had a few "aaahaaaa" moments whenbi was stick and figured something out. This is a game that I would have gladly paid for. The only flaw was that one puzzle glitched and wouldn't let me solve it so I had to use a "puzzle pass" (I verified I did the puzzle correctly after ward.)

Controls are rubbish. The idea of 3d effects is good but poorly realised. Useless on a mobile - you need a magnifying glass. I assume that the dark effects are designed to frustrate so that one is tempted to buy cheats. Puzzles are elementary so perhaps this is designed for younger users. The original 12 50 rooms series is far superior to this inferior effort. 3d is not ready yet. Level 2 is not loading properly so maybe requires wifi. Will probably uninstall.
  • Nice try, but... Apr 18, 2020

    By AikiUser
As a huge fan of puzzle games with nice visuals, I was really hoping to like this game after reading some good reviews. Sadly, while the graphics are good and the puzzles decent, I must agree with a great many other reviewers who deem the 3D and selection controls absolutely horrible. Clicking around forever to get to a spot I know must be a clue or a puzzle is very irritating to say the least. It is also glitchy. I am only on level two and a simple latch to a compartment with a key puzzle piece will not move. (I know it should because, one, it's very obvious and two, I got frustrated and went to an online walkthrough to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I wasn't.) So, there's no advancing for me and I've barely begun. I am playing on the latest iPad Pro so there shouldn't be any problem. If the controls would work better (or at all, in some cases) it looks to be a decent game. Bummer.

The zoom in and out feature is rather annoying. There is no confirmation that you are on the right track. The room was very dark. With the zoom in and out and the panning, gameplay was undesirable. They also wanted access to the phone to make calls, access to the camera and access to all the files

The puzzles aren't clear, the answers are often more guesswork than logic, the movement is overly rendered and the hardware/battery-use is excessive. Choose one of their more recent games to play instead.

3D concept is refreshing. Love the Egyptian theme. Game is challenging once you figure out what you're supposed to do. However, the game is dark making it difficult to maneuver through levels. Hard to tell how to get started on puzzles and what the objective is. Level 7 is an extremely poor design for the room with a severe glitch that prevents you from getting around to all sides of the puzzle chamber, therefore you can't progress further. Game controls are atrocious.

The game is great in sense of game play, but given low stars due to the add app. The puzzles take time, and when near complete the adds kick in and resets the level. Slightly annoying.
  • Too many bugs Apr 15, 2020

    By emjayen
This would be a fun game if there weren’t so many bugs. For example, it displays upside down on my iPad Pro 11”, and no amount of rotating it makes it right side up. Also, when you hit the menu button, the menu displays behind another “window” that has the current level with the rewind and play buttons, so the menu is not accessable. I could live with those two things but... in level 3 in the last puzzle (the disc on the door) some of the pieces would not slide back into empty slots after moving them to the outside, and some of the pieces lit up as being correct when they were NOT in the right place. Once I hit the menu button and went back into the game, that puzzle was reset and then it worked correctly. That makes me wonder how I’ll know when I’m doing something wrong, or if another bug is preventing my progress. I would give this a higher rating if it weren’t for those bugs.

This game started out as a good game. I rated it as a Four Star game and said it was a very very good game. However, my rating did not transmit -after I returned to the game an restarted playing, it stalled or would not allow me to progress. Therefore, I have changed my rating from a Four Star game to a One Star game. It needs to be debugged to correct its problems. I would love to play it again when that is done. Yet, saying what I have said, I recommend for you to give it a try- it maybe my IPad that is the problem and not the game. To the developer your other escape games were very good. Please keep making your games. I am not an angry player!

Absolutely brilliant game with outstanding graphics. Gameplay was challenging so had to really think out of the box to solve the puzzles so as to continue further through each of the levels which was great. I'm so impressed with this game. Only negative is..only 7 levels? Wish there were more. Apart from that I really enjoyed the experience of playing it & the game was ALL totally free which was a welcome surprise. I can't wait for the release of more levels of this game. Well done! 10/10
  • A lot like The Room series Feb 24, 2018

This was a great game, and obviously inspired by The Room series. If you have not played those games, run don’t walk. They are great. I have played a few Room imitation games and this is the best of those. High praise actually. Some found the controls non intuitive here but I didn’t find that. All puzzles worked and were understandable. Nice job developer. Make more like this!

I experienced a glitch in the last level, with the interlocking boxes puzzle, but was finally able to get it to work, and the latch on one box in the first or second level took much tapping to get it to move. But great game nonetheless. My real rating of 4.5 stars (deducted half a star for above issues), rounded up to 5 bc of the immersive nature of this game. The music, artwork, everything felt real. Great job!

I love puzzle games and this one is beautiful and challenging. This game forces you to think and figure out the rules of a game unlike other games that are so simple it takes no time to figure out. I will recommend this game to anyone who likes a challenge.

The 3D graphics are wonderful. And the interface where you can rotate to look at things from different angles is very cool. The puzzles are challenging and interesting, but sometimes you can't tell what is even required to complete the puzzle or what the goal is. Unfortunately. You are only given the choice of paying 3 hints to solve the puzzle. I would really like to see a hint as to what the goal of the puzzle is.
  • Good game, but needs work Aug 19, 2020

I like the 3D but it is a little glitchy at times. I wish the game would offer daily hints like other puzzle games I’ve played. I hate that the only option is to purchase. If you watch the videos for a free hint, you are only offered that once a day so it takes too long to accumulate hints. The hints should explain how to solve not just solve it for you.

I cannot place either of the weights or the statue of Anubis without the whole app freezing. I’m using iPhone 8. EDIT: I definitely did not put the weights or the statuette in the right place, but this should not have caused the app to freeze. I could only press the menu button; the back button had ceased to respond.

I love the puzzles, challenging. My problems are that so far, I’ve done level one. The screen is too dark. Also, when doing a puzzle and hitting the hint button, it doesn’t give a hint on how to solve. Only says 3 hints will skip the puzzle.

This game has great graphics and some very creative ideas but there are so many bugs, it will be awhile before it earns more than three stars. In the first room there is no conceivable way to come up with the three numbers for the attached case without using hints. In another room, I did EXACTLY what the hints ended up telling me to do but it didn’t work when I originally did it. I will soon be out of hints and when that happens, I am dumping the game before I spend money on buying more hints on a game with these many bugs. Work them out and make a decent game!!

It's very confusing. Having to spin the objects and the room, at times the game won't allow you to settle the object so you can choose another item.
  • Puzzles are too small on mobile screen Oct 4, 2020

    By Ilikebeer2
I’m a small ways into this game and I have to keep taking screen shots and blowing them up to see the symbols. Even that doesn’t always work. One puzzle requires you to make the very slight distinction between a straight and a straight line with a small break in the middle. Even blown up this minor detail was hard to distinguish. It makes the game less enjoyable to think that the clues are effectively hidden because they are so small. As mentioned elsewhere the rotation view control is so hard to get right.

Found a glitch in Level 2 same as another escape game. I need to collect 5 figures. Found them all but they split into two boxes, 4 in one. Last one in another. Not able to select either one to use in puzzle. Using Samsun Galaxy Tab A

Level 4, in the spinning pillar section, it is so difficult to make out which is what as to make me want to stop playing.

It seems that when you do things out of order you can’t start over again to figure out what was wrong. There are too many confusing items. The book is hard to read and even with a magnifying glass it’s difficult to decipher. It’s really neat when something works but if done out of order it doesn’t really help. I like these kinds of games but I’d like them even better if there were do-overs for certain items or the ability to restart from the beginning.

the concept is the same with the infamous The Room game by Fireproof. Not sure but this has a long story like The Room but this is FREE. I like this game. But unfortunately I cannot highly rate it becasue it is too hard to find any clue. Click everywhere show nothing inn level 2 and I don't know what to do. The hint show nothign and completely helpless but still decrease when I clicked it.

Frustrating, once you've used all your hints there is no way of getting further without purchasing more hints.

The puzzles aren't clear, the answers are often more guesswork than logic, the movement is overly rendered and the hardware/battery-use is excessive. Choose one of their more recent games to play instead.

This states it’s for people 4+ , what planet is that from? Room 2 has a map with monuments to put in their home country. What some of the monuments are, no 14 year old would recognize. Having needed to find a cheat video, still took about 3 hours. Fishing for spots to make things work, another problem. After watching the cheat, the spot is impossible to find? Is my brand new IPad touch screen missing something? Way too frustrating & no web site for assistance. Don’t waste your time.
  • Keeps freezing after hint Nov 17, 2020

I liked 50 rooms and thought I’d try this after completing all 50 Rooms but when I use a hint, it keeps freezing without giving any real information so I have to force close the app and try again. This has happened twice now. I’m certainly not spending any money on extra hints and not feeling like watching ads to get additional hints. Disappointing.
  • Good, but not great Jun 29, 2019

It is a good game but there aren’t enough clues given. I have to agree with other reviewers regarding the first level on the three numbers for the briefcase. Same issue with other rooms. I tap everything but nothing happens, go back, come back and tap everything then the block will move. I think there are some cliches in the game. I paid for some hints but finally ditched this game.
  • Love the creator, not this game Dec 27, 2020

    By App does nothing
I love the non-3D escape games from this developer, this one is a pass. It is so cumbersome to move from place to place, especially compared to their other games, I didn’t have the patience to get through level 1. Definitely play all their other games. To the developer, please don’t make any more 3-D games.

There is no screen zoom option which makes clues very hard to see. It would be a lot more fun if you could see the clues so you could experience more success without having to use hints.

So far I’ve moved toward a key. Then I tried to go to the menu to turn the music up. There is no option anywhere to either turn up or down the music or sounds that I could intuitively locate. The graphics are pretty good. The is no way of removing the annoying ads, no way to basically pay for the game and use it within my peace and tranquility bubble. Also, the game asked me to rate it after I basically did nothing in the game.

This is extremely aggravating due to the terrible navigation control... if you can even call it "control." This game requires a lot of swiping around to get the viewpoint positioned just right to be able to complete a task. I spent more time trying to navigate than I spent solving the puzzles. I've played several games from this developer, which were a lot of fun. This one is a dud. Uninstalled during level 2.

Horrible controls and environment interaction, navigating a room is infuriating. Screen locked upside down and camera control locked in the reverse setting. Items when looked at will freeze on your screen and even the “hints” are poorly done, they have highlighted useless objects in the room and only aided in some instances. This game is at best an alpha version that should’ve never been released. Its issues go beyond normal bugs and are still prevalent in almost every facet of gameplay. I deleted after the first room. Good graphics though that’s the only positive I can say about it.

Just purchased this yesterday and am having a hard time getting very far. Different “escape games” are popping up and there is no way to clear them from the screen. They only show a “Start Game” option and I am not interested in playing those. If this cannot be fixed so that I might continue with the Egyptian Museum game, I would like a refund. This is so very annoying. I do not like to give a bad review on games because I know a lot of work went into designing each game. But if I cannot proceed with the game I purchased, I would like to be reimbursed
