  • Really Fun and challenging, but... Jan 5, 2021

    By DustyDopey
There needs to be a system where when you solve a room you get +1 hint. Because there are sometimes in the game where you have no idea what to do. You’ve rotated and tapped on everything and a hint usually points you to some minuet detail that’s very easy to miss. I rarely need hints but when I do it’s a very hard puzzle that’s usually in the dark. They need to also work on brightening up the game. It randomly dims and in dark rooms in game it’s hard to see what you can tap on, it’s easy to miss stuff that way. So more ways to get free hints are needed. And come on, 2 dollars for 5 hints? A bit ridiculous. Should at least be 10+

This is easily one of the more “interesting” escape games I’ve played. I say interesting because it was at first something of a love/hate relationship. Clearly it is modeled after “The Room”, but lacks much of that game’s polish. The controls can be intensely frustrating at times: the 3D panning is either unresponsive or like you’re caught in a tornado, and object interaction is often finicky, especially when trying to drag something. And the puzzles... some were, in my book, a bit obscure, requiring more guessing than solving. At least once, I sat there going, “What the heck is there even to do?”. But honestly, guessing the intent of some puzzles turned out to be as much fun as solving the logical ones- which btw, this game had some of the better I’ve seen. There was just enough difficulty, for whatever the reason, to keep me challenged without utterly putting me off, and a certain sense of “weirdness” about the puzzle constructs that compelled me to stay engaged. To top it off, I managed to finish the game (by God’s grace) without using any hints, so in my moment of satisfaction I felt overall the game is worth 5 stars, but I can understand how others might feel less generous.

I love this game, if only I could play without it freezing up. I've had to restart several times, several levels just to play through an entire level. At times that doesn't work. Other than this huge and anoying problem, I would've rated it a five star. Please fix the bugs.

  • Best escape games ever made!!! Jun 23, 2019

I have played all the different types of escape games you can find in the App Store and had thought that I had a favorite developer until I came across your games. The escape games that you’ve created are hands down the best ones I’ve played (all of them), but especially this game. Thank you so much for creating these games and making them free to play. I am broke and can’t afford to buy games and I have no days off at the moment but your games get me through long boring days and I’ve never had so much fun playing a game! The level of detail as well as the creativity behind each puzzle in the games is mind blowing. You are awesome!! Keep doing what you are doing. Side note - Iv never ever taken the time to rate a game or write a review, but I just had to for your games because you need to know how awesome people think they are!

The game is great in sense of game play, but given low stars due to the add app. The puzzles take time, and when near complete the adds kick in and resets the level. Slightly annoying.
  • Nice try, but... Apr 18, 2020

As a huge fan of puzzle games with nice visuals, I was really hoping to like this game after reading some good reviews. Sadly, while the graphics are good and the puzzles decent, I must agree with a great many other reviewers who deem the 3D and selection controls absolutely horrible. Clicking around forever to get to a spot I know must be a clue or a puzzle is very irritating to say the least. It is also glitchy. I am only on level two and a simple latch to a compartment with a key puzzle piece will not move. (I know it should because, one, it's very obvious and two, I got frustrated and went to an online walkthrough to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I wasn't.) So, there's no advancing for me and I've barely begun. I am playing on the latest iPad Pro so there shouldn't be any problem. If the controls would work better (or at all, in some cases) it looks to be a decent game. Bummer.

Awful game, control are awful, hints don't give anything. Hard to find clues, too dark to see even at full brightness.

The puzzles aren't clear, the answers are often more guesswork than logic, the movement is overly rendered and the hardware/battery-use is excessive. Choose one of their more recent games to play instead.
  • Too many bugs Apr 15, 2020

    By emjayen
This would be a fun game if there weren’t so many bugs. For example, it displays upside down on my iPad Pro 11”, and no amount of rotating it makes it right side up. Also, when you hit the menu button, the menu displays behind another “window” that has the current level with the rewind and play buttons, so the menu is not accessable. I could live with those two things but... in level 3 in the last puzzle (the disc on the door) some of the pieces would not slide back into empty slots after moving them to the outside, and some of the pieces lit up as being correct when they were NOT in the right place. Once I hit the menu button and went back into the game, that puzzle was reset and then it worked correctly. That makes me wonder how I’ll know when I’m doing something wrong, or if another bug is preventing my progress. I would give this a higher rating if it weren’t for those bugs.

  • Phenomenally Challenging! Nov 18, 2019

    By L2thaizzo3k
I play a lot of puzzle/escape game and normally I breeze through them. This game was way more challenging than I anticipated and I really enjoyed it. The puzzles force you to think logically and pay attention to detail. I had a few "aaahaaaa" moments whenbi was stick and figured something out. This is a game that I would have gladly paid for. The only flaw was that one puzzle glitched and wouldn't let me solve it so I had to use a "puzzle pass" (I verified I did the puzzle correctly after ward.)

  • Good enough May 9, 2020

For a free game, it’s pretty good. Not too many ads and when they do pop up, they’re really short. Game play is a bit clunky but for what it is, not a bad way to kill some time. Puzzles are sometimes easy to figure out but annoying to place properly. Other areas entail more guess work than intuition. Sometimes you click and nothing happens then you click again and nothing happens but you click again and something pops up. Wasted use of hints. Needs refinement but overall an ok game.

  • Instructions needed for puzzles Jun 10, 2020

    By EscapeArtist50
The 3D graphics are wonderful. And the interface where you can rotate to look at things from different angles is very cool. The puzzles are challenging and interesting, but sometimes you can't tell what is even required to complete the puzzle or what the goal is. Unfortunately. You are only given the choice of paying 3 hints to solve the puzzle. I would really like to see a hint as to what the goal of the puzzle is.

  • Good game, but needs work Aug 19, 2020

    By SMK100
I like the 3D but it is a little glitchy at times. I wish the game would offer daily hints like other puzzle games I’ve played. I hate that the only option is to purchase. If you watch the videos for a free hint, you are only offered that once a day so it takes too long to accumulate hints. The hints should explain how to solve not just solve it for you.

  • I like it but.... Aug 27, 2019

I do like the graphics o this game. But I do find that some clues are not there. Like on level 1 how do u know what number to put on the the south on the compass. And how did u know the number combo for the briefcase. Currently on level 2 I am on the green table. I have opened all the drawers except 1. The one where it flips over and there is a gold slide clip. It absolutely will NOT open. I even played it on my phone to see if it was my iPad that wouldn’t do it. Nope. It won’t open on my phone either. So currently I am stuck and can not go any further. So I can’t give a full rating until I can finish. That is if I am able to. Any help would be appreciated

  • I really wanted to like this game Oct 1, 2020

I really tried to play this game and was enjoying it at first, but the puzzle with the rings in level three was a complete misery. Sorry, but it just wasn’t fun. I don’t want to spend a gazillion hours trying to understand the complex mechanics so I can beat it, or an equal number of hours going in circles with trial and error. This puzzle seriously needs a skip option in my opinion. 3 stars because there’s a lot of good here, but only three because level three was so annoying and frustrating that it took all the fun out of it. Deleting. Let me know if it ever gets updated with a skip option.

Terrible gameplay. Very finicky controls. Stuck on level 2 and can't open the last sliding drawer even though it's obvious how to do it. Checked a walkthrough as well. Too frustrated to play any longer.

This game started out as a good game. I rated it as a Four Star game and said it was a very very good game. However, my rating did not transmit -after I returned to the game an restarted playing, it stalled or would not allow me to progress. Therefore, I have changed my rating from a Four Star game to a One Star game. It needs to be debugged to correct its problems. I would love to play it again when that is done. Yet, saying what I have said, I recommend for you to give it a try- it maybe my IPad that is the problem and not the game. To the developer your other escape games were very good. Please keep making your games. I am not an angry player!

Horrible controls and environment interaction, navigating a room is infuriating. Screen locked upside down and camera control locked in the reverse setting. Items when looked at will freeze on your screen and even the “hints” are poorly done, they have highlighted useless objects in the room and only aided in some instances. This game is at best an alpha version that should’ve never been released. Its issues go beyond normal bugs and are still prevalent in almost every facet of gameplay. I deleted after the first room. Good graphics though that’s the only positive I can say about it.
