  • Cool concept, could be longer Nov 14, 2017

    By Aidan Burkhardt
First off, I'd like to say that the game delivered what I was expecting: a cool pixel game with simple controls, nice design and a fun little challenge for me to play offline. The stages did a good job at teaching you the new mechanic it offered before giving you a difficult challenge using your previous experiences, and before you knew it you'd be at the end, feeling satisfied to be done with the stage. The only problem is, there is only four stages. Four. Each with 30 stages, only amounting to 120 levels. I only got about 30-40 minutes with the game, counting the full time trial run. Yeah, it's a free game, so I don't expect you to have this full campaign, but more stages would be nice. Thanks for reading

Really the only complaint that I have and only reason it’s not five stars is the story it’s basically just the basic guy wants treasure and the same excuse each time the temple starts to fall but otherwise I wouldn’t complain

I like the concept and the idea, but with time restriction it makes it too intense and therefore unable to enjoy and relax- wich is something what games should offer... Also his moving is weird and unusual but thats just the game itself, oh well

  • Quick Game, Fun to Beat Apr 28, 2018

I really enjoyed this game. I was able to do a full play-through in about 2 hours, but the strategy was increasingly difficult and the ability to keep playing without waiting for new lives or paying a few made this 5 Star for me. The ads were persistent, but overall not too annoying. The only reccomendation I have is to port the controls to swipe instead of on screen buttons for a more intuitive play. If this game had an expansion pack for 3-5 more works for 99¢, I would buy! Just an idea for the developers to make some additional profit and provide “expert” version of the game.

Great game i love the consept of Duke Dashington. I legit played for hours straight its challenging but fun. What i would LOVE to see is a mode to create and share levels with the world. Overall great game.

By now the core gameplay loop has been better implemented by other developers with better games. I wanted to support this dev however, but because of the ads, I simply cannot. The ads literally play in the middle of a level. I died making a jump because an ad loaded at the peak of my jump. I've seen a lot in my days here, but that takes the cake.

Not a bad game but the frequency and timing of ads is just too annoying to condone by supporting by paying away the ads. I'd rather just not play. He volume of the ads is also about double so you can't really enjoy ingame music without ruining your hearing whenever ads play.

A great game to pass the time. The music is great, the graphics are colorful and Duke Dashington is a really cool character with a good charm to him, he reminds me of Wario in a way, but with less WAAH. The controls are also nice and simple, and this game is a bit of a hidden gem, just like the one you collect in game. The only problem with this game is that it's pretty short, but Time Trial helps keep the game replayable. Overall it's a great game!

  • Great game but… Nov 13, 2017

    By Snekleton
I understand that it has to have ads for it to be free but for a time based game where the ad takes longer than the level was probably a bad choice. A suggestion for the future is to make a banner ad instead of a pop up. Another thing I would like is that I wish there were more levels to the game since it is beatable in under a day.

This is a very good idea for a game (btw I've never played the original) The way Duke moves is very unique and fun to play. The levels are designed perfectly for Duke. The timer also goes well with Dukes fast movement and makes the game way more fun.

Fun but short. For a game that requires some quick reflexes at times, the touch controls can get a bit frustrating. Would be nice to have Bluetooth controller support.
  • Way too short Jan 7, 2018

This game is honestly really fun but I finished it in less than a day. All I have to say in that it’s very good and good game design but needs to be like a lot longer.

  • Awesome game May 1, 2018

This game is great, fun, has an awesome art style, but my only problems with it are that it is so hard. I get that there should be a bit of a challenge but please make it easier. Otherwise it is an awesome game and I recommend it for anyone. Also THE ADDS NEED TO STOP!!!!!!! I put it down another star because of them. It’s always the same stupid add that is so annoying so please get rid of them before I destroy my phone because of it. But if I want to get rid of them I have to pay, bro I’m 14 I don’t pay for stuff on the phone if I have to I just delete it.

  • Awesome Game but Far Too Short! Apr 23, 2018

    By degraw87
The gameplay and graphics seem to be at least partially inspired by the Warioland franchise, but the physics and puzzle-style challenge make it amazingly addictive. Unfortunately, it is painfully short (I finished it in a little over an hour), making the ad-free version pointless. I would love to play more levels (maybe pay $0.99 for every few worlds). Maybe that would help this delightful game to dash ahead of its disappointingly short end.

  • Adssss Feb 7, 2021

    By bananaboibob
Honestly, the game is GREAT. The only MASSIVE flaw is that there are sooooo many ads, i understand an occasional one when you die, but one can just pop up while you have already begun a level, and for almost every level that you don't first try, an ad pops up. Its so constant and I think the developers should tone it down a bit with the ads because it starts to get infuriating how many ads are popping up in just the span of a minute.
