I'm addicted to this game right now! This isn't a typical "dress up" game with no substance, it's more of an interactive "choose your own adventure" story based game. I had to start with the Marie Antoinette story (now you can choose your 1st story). I was pleased to find that every character in the story is real. So not only is this game fun, but I've brushed up on the French Revolution because of it. Sadly the game is $, I've spent $100 in 1 month to make clothing, so it's 4/5 stars for me

  • Easily the most fun game I have ever played Feb 2, 2021

    By Cellyqui
There’s really no two ways about it, I simply love this game. It is so much fun, there is always something to do, there are different events, and new things to try all the time! I love the stories, the music, the characters, the clothes, and absolutely the cats! I’m sure I’ve missed something I like but that’s okay. I play this game every day. I love doing the daily missions and puppet games. I especially love the Fantasy Fair mini game. It’s so fun. It stresses me out just a little because getting the coins in time before the fair ends seems kind of impossible. I truly hope we can get several shots at each outfit (that is several sessions for the same outfit reasonably interspaced). If there are any older people reading and wondering if this is a good game, IT IS. I’m 22 and I enjoy it so much. There’s somethings I would change, but it’s never going to be perfect so that’s fine. Regardless, I loved this game when I got it, I have loved every update that has come my way, and I am excited to see what the producers have in store. These game designers are geniuses and I am so glad I took a chance on this game.

Great game. A great time passer and way to unwind. It takes a bit of space but the developers are working on how to help us with little space on our phones. Great response to reviews. Played Love Nikki for 3 years before I gave up due to storage issues and I can definitely see playing this game for longer. The stories are so gripping! Being a history nut, I hope to see more queen related stories in the future. Maybe Katherine of Aragon? Or Katherine Howard? Or Eleanor of Aquitaine? Love!

  • Terrible Crafting System, Fun Story Sep 9, 2020

    By GeekyNixie
It’s a nice game for the most part, but the crafting system leaves a lot to be desired. Basically, it’s one of those games that makes you wait to get things done unless you buy and waste a lot of their special currency for real money. That alone is pretty normal, but the availability of materials is inconsistent too- you have to catch when and where the materials are temporarily for limited quantity sale and won’t be able to advance in the levels without amassing increasingly large stockpiles of them. So there’s very little to do once you hit a wall with the crafting. Yes subsystems/minigames exist, but they aren’t fun and don’t really do much. But, a huge positive: the story is fun and the animation isn’t bad. The interactive element is not just a ploy used in advertising- the story can go multiple ways and you can go back later to explore the other paths that were available. You can even send gifts to the characters in whatever story you’re playing through. Except when they’re “busy,” which might be exactly when you need to give them gifts to unlock a level. The clothes are pretty, even if crafting them takes a lot of patience. If it weren’t for the irritating crafting system and ease with which all the fun grinds to a tedious halt, I think I would very much like it.

I liked it more than expected until the constant updates. I had to delete 2 apps and a lot of pictures to get the last update downloaded. This update still didn't fix the issue I had. It rated me as great on level that I scored perfect on. I redid the level several times but it still wouldn't change my ranking. I will now be deleting the game after wasting too much time on it. No game is worth all this trouble and memory on my phone.

  • Nice but... Dec 27, 2020

    By Thrift-T-Girl
I like the game but as you progress, the crafting items required for outfits gets ridiculous. Events offer great new outfits, but it’s a disappointment because you have to craft them and they require an impossible amount of crafting supplies, so they are useless. Sometimes you have craft something in order to make something else, which depletes your resources and you have to start over again with collecting materials. They allow you to barrow stuff, but there are required items you can’t barrow. If you get everything for a level, you still may find yourself without a perfect score because your relic or “education” is not high enough. If you don’t have a cat in the category your playing, your score can suffer too, which prevents getting the blueprint you need for a future level. The stories are good and I enjoy them, but I’m starting to feel like the game is a job due to the heavy crafting/collecting resources which defeats the purpose of an app for entertainment. I don’t mind a challenge, but seriously, 200 of a material when you can only buy five every 3-4 hours is a bit much. Even when using cat exploration, encounters, and diamonds it’s a daunting task. If the developers correct these issues, the game would be worthy of a 5 star rating. And yes, I have made a few minor purchases to support the game.

Editing review: downgraded. Takes up way too much space. It is the biggest app on my phone by far. 6.64 GB and new update is another 1.6GB. next biggest app is 4.52GB. Still money hungry with a lot of time limited events requiring to pay for each blueprint or takes too many resources to be able to do anything, like stamina based events. And the blueprints take a stupid amount of materials to make. Only good thing is that the stories are good.

I play games like this all of the time. I really enjoy most of this game. I love the stories. I love the style. I love the progress I have seen with each new update. But right now, I'm logging in every day just in the hopes that I might be able to get the ingredients I need to create new clothing so that I can progress in the stories and get better scores. I haven't created a new piece of clothing in at least a week. I'm frustrated. I feel stagnant. The cost of clothing is too high. The cost of ingredients are FAR TOO HIGH. I NEED WAY TOO MANY FAR TOO EXPENSIVE INGREDIENTS TO ACHIEVE ANYTHING. I was so excited at the beginning, and now I'm tired and frustrated with it. It's beautiful, and i love going back and playing the stories and dressing up, but I want to create new clothes and get lots of new clothes. I feel lost a lot. What do I do now? Now that I'm stuck until tomorrow, until I get more stamina, I can't do anything except stare at the clothes I need and have no concrete plan to achieve because the stores are also random.

This game has great stories and fun dress up! I will give it that. The outfits are beautiful and the customization is pretty cool. However... Others have mentioned the ridiculous crafting process for outfits, and they are right. It takes so long and so many resources to craft a simple bracelet or pair of shoes. So naturally, crafting an entire outfit takes sometimes like a week. Now some chapters require certain outfits to move forward at all. WHICH MEANS you can’t even progress in the story for A WEEK. Now if you thought that sounded annoying, here’s the kicker: sometimes you FINALLY manage to craft an entire outfit, you are excited to move forward! But then, even with the entire required outfit equipped, YOU STILL DONT GET A HIGH ENOUGH SCORE TO PROGESS. so in my opinion, save your time and your stress. I’ve been playing it for about three weeks but after not being able to progress in any of my stories, I’m done.

I enjoy this app a lot. But there are certain things I'd maybe change or add that I think would improve the game. The recent change to the shop was nice but I think adding a way to sell things you don't need should be available. Another thing would be that the jerry balloons shouldn't be able to give you random story clothes. It should be from the story you are on or should have options to specify. Its really hard to get the gacha clothes I need when it always gives me other store clothing.

I love this game and the graphics, the dresses, the movement when you move the dress,EVERYTHING IS SO PERFECT. Anyway I came here to say that I would LOVE if y’all made a horse game with these same graphics because most games I download of horses they aren’t good and I would love to give you ideas all though I know making a game and graphics isn’t easy but here are my ideas:being able to ride in the open (many games don’t have that sadly), races with online players, dressage competitions with online players, not super expensive stuff because that can come to people uninstalling the game (including me), being able to costumize ur avatar (as a human) and having dresses as an option because that would be beautiful, being able to groom ur horses as long as u want because I like grooming my horse but some games only let me for like 15 seconds, and being able to add people, chats, and being able to be in online servers. I know my suggestions aren’t easy but I would love for y’all to at least consider it ❤️❤️❤️ I also fell in love with the dresses in this game they’re are just so beautiful 😍

I’ve often played like games like this before and usually they don’t last long. Usually because of horrible story lines but this one is so awesome! I have to give y’all kudos, these stories are so fun! The outfits are appealing and the UE design is appealing as well. Kahir’s skin on the other hand make him look just a little sickly. Perhaps the skin itself was too small for his UV’s and they got blown up just a little or the opposite. His eyes haunt me too. The craft system is excellent in theory but the materials are so hard to come by naturally and to use them is making me reluctant since some of them cause you to stockpile them just to create a single item. The encounters are a good way to come across them but only getting one or perhaps two item per encounter at the expense of stamina requires some saintly patience especially when you hit a wall with required items. Then it’s a really long waiting game. Especially with the endless cycle of resetting the board of who is there with cash, run out of stamina out in perhaps five to six encounters and come out with barely a quarter of the craft items excluding the items used to make gifts. One hellish waiting game. The cats are helpful, but add to the turmoil.

I love this game so much. It combines two of my favorite things; fashion history and drama; into one game. The writing is amazing and the graphics are so good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because after a certain point the game becomes a bit unreasonably unfair. I really wish some of the crafting material restrictions were lessened. I know its because it's a free app and they need to make money somehow, but honestly I'd pay for items in this game either way!

I really love how the actual game works but I wish there were a few more options when customizing yourself apart from the different levels, things like more colors for hair, eyes, and skin tones would be nice. I really enjoy it so far though Edit: I love the new stories and it's great that they have so many ways to get more materials.

Things I love about the game; super cute clothing, decent storylines, plenty to do in terms of side games. Things I dislike; struggling to get enough crafting materials in order to complete clothing particularly in later storybooks. They do appear to be listening to their players at least, as it seems like they fixed some issues in the last maintenance. So bumping up my rating a couple stars.

I actually really enjoy this game and have put money into it. You can tell the developers work hard on this game. The stories are amazing and interactive. they are constantly updating and they listen to feedback with great customer service. The ONLY reason its 4 stars for me is because crafting outfits is a big part of the game but it's hard to gather all the supplies necessary to make the outfits needed to progress in the game. Even with putting money into the game to purchase supplies...

  • Fun Game, Very Frustrating Sep 6, 2020

    By AgentKK00
The story part of the game is very fun, and I enjoy getting to dress up my character without having to be in the story at all times. It’s very reminiscent of Love Nikki, if you’ve ever heard of that game. However, what I don’t like about this game is the wait for materials. Either you watch the store like a hawk, waiting for the refreshed stock that has no guarantee of being what you need for the next stage, or you endlessly try to do side quests to get materials you also don’t need. Days turn to weeks, and still, I have no luck finding cotton or leather. I have plenty of silk, though. Always with the silk... In Love Nikki, you need only collect outfits to create new clothes, which makes the process faster, albeit droning. In this game, you need materials and outfits for new pieces. It would be a refreshing gimmick if it didn’t waste so much of my time, sending me on an endless goose chase. I don’t mind creating gifts and getting close to companions to advance the story, but when you’re 43 leather away from the dress you need, and you haven’t been able to get any of it in days, you can see where things can be frustrating. Still, for a dress up game centered around story-telling, I do think it’s on the higher end of quality. Thus, I’m giving it 3 stars. I’m not dazzled, but I am pleased.

Beautiful game! A little too much with the Pink and dresses but that is typical of these kind of games. I am very picky about dresses / clothes but some outfits are just stunning. I really like that there are some you can edit and change up. Shame I can't keep up with this as it takes too much space. I love some of the chatacters already.

Fairly straightforward game. Lots of elements. Sorta like a more in-depth version of Choices. I just started and am already stuck. I’ve been sending out friends request for days to complete something on Isabel’s Guide and no luck. You have to get to level 10 to participate in global chat, so there’s no way for me to ask. Also, I’m still on the first chapter of the first book and there’s only one gift I can make for companions and only 5 interactions per day. At 10 points which can amount to weeks of waiting for chances at interactions to level up. The choices for the gifts aren’t very creative and being stuck this early is makes it’s less fun. Materials for crafting clothing are random on the shop and the pay packs just aren’t worth the little material you receive. I would be playing now but because I need a certain level for one of the players to move on I don’t have much choice but to wait.

  • Beautiful game- just to be let down Oct 18, 2020

    By Tayabroses
I see how becoming addicted to this game is easy! It’s fun, BEAUTIFUL, and has great story lines. However- that is cut short by the shortage of supplies needed to craft certain clothing to move up to new levels. It can take days, even weeks to obtain enough materials to craft clothing and keep going in the game. I’ve even spent a decent amount of money trying to get materials for clothing so I could continue the levels of the game. Even that wasn’t enough to really get me going. The wait is way too long, and eventually the interest in the game wanes. Nobody wants to wait days on end just to be able to move up one level. Nobody wants to drop THAT much cash on games, when there’s plenty of other great gaming options that charge infinitely less to move forward within them. I could see this being a MUCH more successful game if it made obtaining materials easier.

  • Crashes :( Sep 12, 2020

    By Mooky:3
Cannot proceed after chapter 2-4 of “Queen Marie”. Game crashes just prior to the end of this stage, every time. Also, after a few hours of initial fun, it becomes almost impossible to move forward because the volume of rewards is not enough to allow for crafting necessary items to progress. You’re left with the choice of committing to a long term relationship which costs around $20 a day to have any significant progress, to log in every day patiently, collecting items very slowly, and process the story by one small step maybe once a week, or just quit the game entirely. The choice has now been made for me with the uncontrollable crash that happens at stage 2-4. I’m disappointed because if it weren’t for these issues, I’d say it were my favorite game I’ve encountered on mobile for the aesthetics and the story, alone.

  • Black & Brown People Beware Jan 25, 2021

    By DJCAPSLOCK
This game's concept is dress-up, however for who? Some of the looks mandatory to pass levels require make-up but all in game make-up makes black/brown people look like they've just graduated clown academy. It enrages me that I have to look ridiculous in the story book chapters while pale/fair players do not. Furthermore, they charge obscene and bordering on ABUSIVE prices for the events (which is...? It's an event???). They make it hard to craft so that you're nearly bullied into buying crafting materials (which is usually 5$-10$USD) that is only enough to make one item. The only good thing about this app are my memories of a time before the highway robbery prices, the graphics, and the stories (if you're willing to eat bricks to get supplies to make the dresses to even read the stories. Jesus).
