  • Fun little game Mar 13, 2019

    By Czech-it-out!
Fairly easy game to just pick up and play. Gameplay is pretty straightforward, although finding objects/coins can become something of a “tap-fest” (‘bout wore my finger out). Puzzles are not too hard, with a couple of thought-provokers, though I did have a little trouble with the mechanics of one in particular, which was just a brain-fart on my part (as a quick look at the walkthrough pointed out). This was intelligently put together and a fun little diversion for awhile, however I’m not sure the additional levels are worth 3 bucks for a few more minutes of escaping. Still, the first eight are definitely worth the effort.
  • Revised (Now 5 Stars) from Black screen only - music audible but no visual to play game Apr 11, 2018

EDITED- Developers, Thank you for responding! I have edited this review because it is now working fine (not quite sure but likely Apple Glitch that worked itself out), so I started to play and realized I have completed this game before and Loved it then, but must have neglected reviewing as such! So great game, better than adequate puzzles—resulting in my playing through some levels just for fun- as I love the look, content, and especially ability to move items in screen. 👆🏻💡 Have never given an app 1 star- hope this can change with developers response- Very dissatisfied and disappointed that I paid for this game as it looks really fun for me, and when I try to play the game all I have is a black screen with audible music. Attempted to delete and then download again, tried opening game from App Store instead of screen, and restarted phone (iPhone 8+) and then turned phone off even to no avail. Contacting maker leads to Facebook page which I do not prefer to use. Did note other reviews that mentioned black screen issues and usually I don’t pay for a game with those concerns present, however the look of game really appealed to me so I thought I may be one of the users who had no issues. Silly me. Please developers: look into this glitch so I can enjoy game as planned!!

The screen did not adjust to actual screen size, missing parts on both sides, I can't use taken objects because they are hidden behind the sides in the margins. There is a way to put it full screen, but it's not with the app, it was an option my phone gave me. You can play that way but still not optimal display.

Thanks for reporting this! I briefly considered purchasing (I think the artwork and creativity are beautifully unique in this game) but personally, I think $3 is way to much for an hour of gameplay. Esp when there are amazing games out there for the same price. So I checked reviews to see if it was worth the money in other ways and saw your review. So...you should request a refund. When Apple sends you the receipt for your purchase via email ..you can click the button "report a problem". It will take you to an online form where you can request a refund. Just select "didn't mean to purchase." Or whatever the wording is. If you try to explain the issue through that form, it won't give you a refund...it just starts an email chain with the developer. And that's not getting you your refund...which you should have. Then..you can report the problem through app support separately. But get your refund first!
  • Fun but short May 18, 2017

This definitely could have been longer. The story, what of it there was, was somewhat intriguing, but then it just end abruptly. What I really enjoyed about this title was the setting, the art was great too, and the sound design was also well done. On the other hand, some of the puzzles seemed a little half measured, and I finished the game in one sitting. If you're waiting for the next installment of The Room series to come out, this might scratch some of that itch. If you've never played The Room or any of its sequels, check those out first. Far superior games for the same price. Overall I'm not too disappointed I paid to unlock the game, I just hope future titles from this developer have a little more meat on the proverbial bones.
  • Favorite Snapbreak title so far Apr 14, 2021

    By Keybordz
First got into Snapbreak with Machine City Airborne and have ventured on to several of their games. This one really nails the right vibe with artwork, music, story all working rather cohesively in a most appealing fashion. I like that their puzzles aren't terribly complex (you see a lot of the same ones over and over throughout their catalog) but allow to proceed at a reasonable rate. I never feel like I get stuck for very long (though the submarine maneuvering in level 11 is pretty nerve-racking). Would love to see another chapter in this same style. I paid for all the levels and am very satisfied with the purchase.
  • Good, needs to be longer. Also, coins??? Jun 3, 2017

    By infamousree
Immediately hooked. Tasks both simple and challenging (even had to use a walk through on one level). But it's quite short. And what is the purpose of the coins? Maybe for future play when new levels come out? It'd be nice to know how many coins are in each level as well.

  • Fun and challenging. May 30, 2021

What I particularly like about this game and similar ones by SnapBreak are the fact that there is no time limit or rush to solve a puzzle and especially NO extra cost (or pressure) to get by a level ! While some puzzles are easier to solve than others I appreciate the creativity and complexity of ALL of them. I am happy that to start they are free and I almost always pay to get the extra levels because I enjoy them so much. These are a much needed change from the all too prolific “break them” or “match them” games. Thank you!!!

I've played just about every game from Snapbreak and I've enjoyed all of them. Only have 4 stars bc I wish there were more levels before you had to pay. Some level challenges were just hard enough that you really had to think to figure them out, some were a little easy

Well the game looks fun but I can't get to the side menu or the objects I've found because of the black margins so I can't even get anything done, I looked in setting to see if you could change that but sadly no. Guess I won't be able to play it after all.

So I started playing this and it looked so familiar that I thought no company could be that shady -well it can be -this escape game was made a few years back and over the years the name and the developers change . So sad Apple would allow people to continue to scam people on the promise of a new game. Yet it’s the same game. Beware people and don’t waste money cuz I did when this came out a few years ago and the bonus chapters aren’t worth it.

I thought it was odd that I was able play most of the game for free and then had to pay to play the last 6 levels, but I was enjoying the game so I went ahead and paid the $3. As soon as I did, the game started asking for my email password. Every time I launch the game, I get an "official" looking pop-up containing my email address and it says the email password is required (I'm currently sending/receiving email just fine, so my iPhone is not sending the pop-up). DO YOU REALLY THINK I'M GOING TO FALL FOR THAT???

I don’t like this escape game as much as Machine City. There doesn’t seem to be a realistic storyline, and the gameplay isn’t as smooth, but the graphics are designed well, and I do like the puzzles so far. I don’t like the music or sound effects, and I don’t like the feel of the gameplay. It doesn’t pull you into the game like Machine City does. However, I’m only at the beginning, and it might grow on me as I progress.
  • Very Enjoyable Jun 16, 2020

    By Caitnah
I have recently been hooked in adventure puzzle games like Room, DaVinci, etc. Many games I do not like as they are too difficult and becomes more of a chore. This escape game is fun due to it not being too difficult and that the puzzles, that need solving, all take place in the same area. You don’t have to go back and forth from room to room. Good game!
  • Awesome play. Mar 20, 2020

This little gem didn’t disappoint, some puzzles were easy and others took some thought, isn’t that what we’re here for? Great graphics, I easily bought the extended and would recommend this game for good play. Thanks for the fun, wish it were even longer!

Honest answer everybody, SPLENDID game indeed. It's tricky and tough in an enjoyable way. While it can often be frustrating to get stuck on a level in any game sometimes, tell me,who wants a game that's so easy that we never have to think? So yes,5 Star rating is what I give. Anybody reading this, I highly recommend this game. I believe you will enjoy it. Have a beautiful blessed day, friendd!! :)

I couldn't put it down. I finished it in less than a day. I should complain about it being short BUT I won't because it might have been longer had I not I binged played. And also because it was awesome and I didn't mind that it was a little short. So great though, make more!!! 👏🏻👏🏻

I play a lot of these types of games. I probably would have enjoyed this more if I didn’t complete the free levels so quickly. I would prefer something a little more tricky. I didn’t pay for the additional levels.
  • Rather abrupt ending Aug 21, 2018

    By NovaSTL
Puzzles were good, art is great, sound and music are good, but the sudden “Thanks for playing” ending was disappointing, not even a second or two of “zoom” graphic. Or even a piece of story text to give closure would have been nice.

...otherwise, it's a great game and I would play the heck out of it. In the meantime, I tend to forgetfully open this game two days later and begin excitedly playing it again....and after about 4-5 minutes.....when I am good and immersed in it...BLACK SCREEN FOR TWO LONNNG MINUTES. Doesn't this sound like fun? Do I love this game? Yes. (The GAME part!) Do I regret this purchase? Absolutely. I could've held on to my $2.99 and just shut my eyes and meditated daily...(and not had spikes in my blood pressure!)

Paid for the full version and felt it didn't have enough levels to justify paying the extra $2.99. The walk throughs were great for when I got stuck, because some of the moves were (for lack of a better way of saying it) esoteric. Worth playing, not worth buying. There are games out there that give you more game time for the same cost or less...

I was enjoying the game, had some good puzzles. Got to level 10 quite quickly and that is where the fun starts to cost . With all the ads I wrongly thought this game was free. What a shame. I would have given 5 stars if totally free. I understand they have to make money but the ads alone must pay a lot. Ah well onto another adventure I guess.

Welp, I'm two levels in and at the "rate us" prompt, and I'm not impressed. The game's look is grainy and I've already had to watch ads, which most games wait a few levels to spring on you. The puzzles have been a mix of way too simple and one that doesn't make sense with its context clues. So... yeah, I probably will be uninstalling sooner rather than later.

Meh. I stopped after level 6 cos it doesn't flow very well. Its nicely made but there's nothing to tell u you're doing it wrong so u spend ages trying different combinations, then when u watch utube u find there's still heaps more steps to do first even tho logic tells you you're doing it right already. Needs a "Can't do that yet" warning to let u know to keep looking for more puzzle pieces. Sorry but not the game for me. :- ( Buuutttt....the Faraway games are awesome! Def make more of those. 5stars for the Faraway games. :-)

I can get a better tasting meal or I’d simply rather buy me a good tasting candy bar next time for the price I paid to play this game. It’s too easy, the story plot is rather lame with no conclusion to the story. Some of the puzzles were intriguing, and did entertain a healthy challenge, there are better games out there.
