With other dream journals / dream journal apps I just feel like it’s either not enough to properly record my dreams or way too forced. But with this app I feel they don’t necessarily force anything on you (eg make you do a dream daily, etc) while still giving the option to record dreams in an organized yet not crazy way, meaning that I can easily write down my dreams when I wake up. I also found that by adding tags to the dreams (things you can do in the app) I can sort of ‘track’ what kind of dreams I’m having and when. Also there’s no set ‘outline’ for the dream so I can describe it, and even add things like little notes to myself (for example I dreamed about the titanic one night and had watched the titanic movie the night before. Later going over it I could see the obvious connection). You have the option to record your dreams as lucid dreams easily, as well as ‘adult’ / 18+ dreams, and you can make it public as well which allows for others to respond and make connections in your dreams that maybe you don’t see. It helps when others make insight as well, and overall the community is cool and it’s always neat to see other people’s dreams but at the same time again it’s not forced: you can choose to keep the dreams you post private if you want. I really like this dream journal, it’s free and best of all there’s no ads or annoying pop-ups or anything.

This is a great dream journal app, simple and gets the job done. It’s best feature is definitely the dream wall. I think the app has lots of potential for more features though that would really make it the best dream journal app out there. It would be interesting to be able to see stats, and I would love the ability to add the moods I felt and real life people I encountered in the dream to the journal entry. Another feature I think should be incorporated is the ability to follow users from the dream wall, even if users’ follower counts aren’t public or anything. Some people write down their dreams really well and have more interesting dreams than others. Don’t get me wrong, I rarely make reviews and I’m a fan of this app. I’d just love to see more features.

  • Lucid dreaming in 1 week Jul 9, 2018

    By Fugehirdgsfjg
I haven’t had a lucid dream that I can recall in over a decade. Last night, after just using this app for about a week, I had a lucid dream. I have tried dream journaling with pen and paper before, but this app makes it much more convenient to do as soon as I wake up. I can tell that my dream recollection is improving. The reality check feature is something I was slightly skeptical about working, but it’s really great. In the past when I took an interest in lucid dreaming, I tried just questioning if I were dreaming periodically through the day. But if it just slips your mind (like it would while dreaming) it’s hard to get in the habit. The reality check feature takes care of that. I love this app and plan on using it for a long time! :)

Hi I hope you can see this it's very important!! I had this app like 2 years ago then I deleted it. I got it again, the reality check push notifications aren't there anymore!! This helped so much to achieve lucidity and now there's not a way to check if you are dreaming or now. Second and lastly, the passcode doesn't work. I tried entering one and it didn't put it to work so it was just sitting there. These are two top things for sure that need to be fixed. Bring the reality check back please!
  • Great for dreamkeeping, but I want to follow friends! Oct 8, 2017

I love the dark interface because it's easier on the eyes, but since theres a dream wall where you can read other peoples dreams, it would be great to be able to follow people. I understand this would be a big update with added UI and such but it would be a lovely addition. I'd love to be able to read my friends dreams through this app instead of them copying and pasting it to me through another. Please consider! I'd also really appreciate being able to block or report people who don't write their dreams and write other nonsense!

  • Helps with lucid dreaming Mar 26, 2018

I decided to download an app as it would be an easier way to journal my dreams. I also put a daily reminder in a productivity app to journal my dreams. Doing so daily is increasing my dream recollection to daily. I decided to try the “reality check” feature where every two hours my phone says “are you dreaming?” Of course I know I’m awake but I engage and ask myself the question and experience a momentary slight shift in perception. Well, after a week or two I have a lucid dream. I’m aware that I’m dreaming. I say it aloud. I look at my hands. I practice floating up and down. Floating up is easier. Floating down, there’s not much gravity to help, but I can make my feet touch the ground lightly and I feel the contact.

I had been writing my dreams down in a journal for a while, now I can share my dreams with people more easily and it's an easy app to use. The only thing I'd change is to add is the ability to like an author so you can specifically see all their new dreams, or be able to search a tag to find dreams with that tag. Overall a cool app.

I don’t usually do reviews, but this app is truly great. I know everybody says that, and some reviews are just ridiculous and you can tell the people are really undereducated. BUT I dream a lot and had not found a way to record my dreams that works for me until I found this app. You can put your dream down in your journal and go back and edit it later. You can add tags and find similar dreams. You can see other peoples dreams and help interpret them with likes and comments. There is a gold membership for $.99 a month, which I have not done yet and usually never do with apps, but I am seriously thinking about it, which is unusual for me. If you are a heavy dreamer, you WILL Love this app

This app worked great for me for years but one day all of a sudden I could not log into my account. I clicked on the "forgot password" option since it wasn't working and there was no account found under the email I signed up with! Lost all my dreams, I had over 60 dreams logged over the course of 4 years. I have very vivid dreams and had spent a lot of time recording them. Will not be using this app anymore, looks like I should get a physical journal instead.

Spent the last 45 minutes writing a dream and when I went to save it it said, "session expired, log out and back in". So thats fun. my dream is gone. So I guess you cant trust this app not to lose your work. Its probably better to rely on something like google docs that autosaves your work as you go so you know you wont lose it. Why doesnt this app have that feature?

I downloaded this app to start recording my dreams and provide reality checks so that I could work towards lucid dreaming. So far the app has done amazing in that respect. However, the sharing aspect of the dreams and being able to read dream walls is an unintended aspect that has peaked my interest. I do not like that aside from liking and commenting on dreams posted, you cannot otherwise communicate with others you may realize you have similar dreams with. Also, there are bugs when it comes to notifications. I have been told multiple times I have a comment on my dreams but cannot find them on my posts. I also see a lot of repeat notifications. Please fix this part of the app and allow us to communicate directly with the other users!

ive been using this app for years and suddenly it wouldn't save and said my session expired and i needed to log back in. i logged out and when i tried to get back in, it said my username didn't exist!?! It can't find my email to reset either. Looks like i just lost a lot of dream records :( Dissapointed.

Really upset, I've been logging my dreams without an account, then I realized I had an account so I signed in. But after the sign in, it deleted all the dreams I had from when I wasn't signed in. App should ask the user to merge dream list or to choose what to do with them. Huge oversight.

Simple, yet effective to use as a way of logging my dreams. I enjoy being able to look at the full month calendar and see at a glance what days i did or didn't dream on. Only thing i hope for in the future is a way to help me find dreamsigns. But completely enjoying it!!

I like to keep track of my dreams because my dreams keep me on the right path (warning me of bad people, places to avoid, places to go to at what time, etc.) And this has helped me a lot with that. Its not sketchy like other sites and apps either so thats a plus!

So, I'm not much of a dreamer to be honest, and I rarely recall dreams that I have when I wake up...like at all. But recently, I've noticed (probably due to my messed up summer-sleep schedule where I stay up late and wake up late) that the last few days or week I've been recalling so much from my dreams and basically having several little dreams per night if not one big one. I've decided to record my new found dreams, and this app is the only free dream journal app that allows you to freely do so without limits. I'm hoping that I continue to have these dreams and get to fill out interesting entries each day.

This may be the first review I’ve ever written. This is such a brilliant idea for an app. I used to love to log my dreams but always forgot or didn’t have my journal on me. I always have my phone on me though, so I have no excuse! I love that you can log by date and title them. It’s interesting that others can like and comment on your dreams if you make them public. However I don’t see an option to add friends on here. I think that would be cool to add friends or family and share dreams. Hopefully they consider that in the future. Thanks! So excited about this app!!

I really love this app because I have severe Autism and I have dreams that are really bothersome, but I really want to understand them and sometimes I do understand them but would like to answer them by explaining them to myself and/or others. Thank you for making this app and keep up the good work, GOD Bless you & your family and be Safe! 👏👌👍🙂

It's great for keeping your dreams written down somewhere and sometimes laughing about it with other people on the app. I wish you could follow people though so you can see specific people like your friends on a different tab. Also I think pictures should maybe be available to add onto our dreams.

This a very convenient way to log your dreams. I’ve never had in interest in keeping my dreams logged until last night when I had the most vivid dream. It made me look for an app to write the dream down and I found this one. You can also share your dreams publicly to a Reddit like wall if you’d like, but if not you can also log them privately.

Decent app, but will rate 5-stars when they give the option to save our dreams locally and not on their server. Do you think people have access to wifi or cell signal 24-hours a day, in every building? Fix it.

I downloaded this app years ago when I was probably 13, and it was useful until I got bored one day and decided to scroll through the dream wall. I originally had clicked hide adult dreams but I guess I had turned them back on somehow bc while clicking through dreams I stumbled upon straight up porn (and a lot of it too). I didn’t want to delete the app because all my dreams were saved onto it but eventually it got really tempting so I just deleted it anyways. I guess it was a decent dream app, but the notes app is just as good. Plus, I can see the adult dreams becoming a real problem for people who struggle with that, so I personally think it’d be good to delete certain users who literally just post porn.

I was recently trying to log into my journal protected with a pin, and clicked “Reset Pin” instead of “Submit.” It did not even give me an option to choose to cancel the resetting of my pin, it just gave me a notification saying that they sent a new pin to my email address. I never got the email and tried multiple times again to see if I would get one, and I didn’t. I reached out to the support email that they provide and they never got back to me. So now I’m locked out of the app, and lost all of the dreams in my journal. I love the app, just wish the support team was better and would respond when you actually need help with something.
