You only have a couple minutes of game play before running out of energy. Everything you need takes energy. You spend so much time waiting for energy to refill it becomes not really worth the effort. Lots of chances for free energy by watching ads, but that takes a lot of time for the 5 or 10 energy points you get. Clearing needed items can take 40 or more energy, so maybe 3 moves before you're stuck again. Definitely designed for actual cash to get anywhere.

It’s a really fun game and I really like it. And I would like to make a suggestions I would really like it if there were some more islands on the map with more dragons!!! 😆 but other than that I think it’s a really awesome outstanding magnificent game. Oh 😮 and I would like if there was even more types of adventures you could go on. (Even more than there already is.)

So the dragons are absolutely adorable, the game is really fun, it's great feeling like there's something you have to work towards to and it's really relaxing. The only problem I have is that I think there should be more weekly rewards, bcs I got the fairy dragon and then it kind of seems pointless logging in every day, so if you could add some more weekly rewards I would be very grateful, so thanks! I would recommend this game to anyone who has the patience for it, really.

The concept of this game and gameplay are great, but the way it’s set up to have limited energy and resources—not so great. To progress you require so many resources (obtained through spending energy), and there are often multiple special events going on that require the same resources. To proceed in the game you really need to spend real money unless you’re cool with just playing for a couple of minutes here and there, not completing special quests, etc. I tried buying packages with extra resources and energy and the little bit of good it did me just wasn’t worth it. I’d prefer that special holiday events and quests didn’t require the same resources that the base game uses to progress, because it’s already slow going there. Ultimately as much as I enjoy it, I get frustrated at how necessary it is to constantly spend money to keep up. It doesn’t feel like a great deal when you spend $—just like you won’t be able to get far at all if you don’t, and KEEP spending at that. I don’t mind spending money on games I enjoy, but when it feels like you can’t even complete basic gameplay without it, that’s a downer.

This is the only app that crashes on my Google pixel XL phone. It buffers especially when using the spinning wheels for getting extra energy. Then the whole thing gets stuck and I have to restart my phone or pause the app and unpause it, depending on if the data has been stopped by the app crashing. Please can you fix any of the bugs which may be causing this. I have family farm Adventure too and I haven't had the same issue. I love the games so much, they are my favorite.

The game is fun, but slow. If their is one critique I can bring up, it is that gems are far to scarce. To build some buildings a second time, it costs around 200 gems, while you only get around 5 per day if you get lucky. It also costs around 20 gems to refill your stamina. Please make it so gems are more accessible to free 2 play players.

The gameplay itself is very fun and I will likely continue playing this. It definitely has its flaws. As other reviewers have said, there are bugs. I used gems to activate pre-placed bombs on an island but it didn’t go off. Now I’m out my gems and am attempting to get them back from the help line. Also, as most energy-based games go, in the beginning I was swimming in energy. But as I got further into the game, it became harder to come by. There are some opportunities to get more whenever you need it, and if you follow the Main quest line, it might be enough for you to continually play. But with the current Thanksgiving event going on, you can’t seem to get enough. There aren’t many ways in the event to earn energy and even when you earn it, it’s gone far to quickly with little to show for it. On top of that, there is so little energy with such a high demand of items. I may need to chop down 3-4 80 energy trees to get enough wood to build a specific thing for the event. That amount of energy alone would mean entering the game every hour and a half for an entire afternoon and dumping all the acquired energy into those trees. In conclusion, it needs some work but is a fun game worth playing.

This is a awesome well though out game!! Buttt, you l ask for way to much engery to do events and so on, its ok for what you get with the free spins and so on but make it hard when you only get so much and got to get throw full events. Some of us right now cant pay for engery to make it throw a full even. May want to back down that engery issue.. No one wants to wait and dig two times and wait again for engery makes the game slow and very boreing. I for one do not like slow games

Farmville with less productivity. So the game is Farmville in disguise. It is fun, but I never have enough energy. By day 2 of playing I was already waiting hours for things to produce to.complete even basic tasks. It is fine if you like Farmville, but the dragon element doesn't add a whole lot to the experience.

I love this game but you make the energy consumption too low and the expandables too high. I've paid to get extra energy - and yes I've also checked out your faq. Edit-I know how to get the free energy. Perhaps take on board the feedback from your customers. Everyone is saying that the energy amount is too low and you can only play the game for a few minutes which is annoying. Increase the energy and you will get happy customers and 5* reviews.

  • It has potential, but too many issues Apr 19, 2021

    By GoVols35
The game starts off well enough, but the more you play the more glaring development issues start to stand out. The mechanics of building factories is a huge barrier, especially given that it’s very easy to find yourself stuck and unable to progress without items from factories you have yet to build. Some of the seasonal events are literally dead ends, as there aren’t enough resources to unlock parts of the islands where more of those resources exist. As other reviewers have pointed out, there are serious glitches throughout the game. You only get the rewards from watching ads about half the time. You sit through the same 30 second videos time after time, get redirected to the App Store at the end, and when you come back to the game you get nothing for the trouble. The game also fails to connect or even load frequently. I have several other games that work just fine while support tells you to check your internet connection. Sorry, guys - it’s not everyone’s internet. IT’S YOUR GAME. Stop lying. And finally, side competitions like the Dragon merge and Dash events freeze constantly. Items disappear from view and only reappear after restarting the app. Ultimately it almost makes the game unplayable. I’ve worked for software companies for over 2 decades, but not sure I’ve ever seen less competency in terms of just terrible execution. They had some good ideas. They just can’t make it work, unfortunately.

Seriously with the stamina. It's ludicrous; you get to play for about 5 minutes. And stop telling players to read your FAQ, I understand the methods to get more. Players shouldn't have to dig through FAQs to play your game. If you actually let people play and accomplish things in game, they might spend more money on other items - no one is going to spend money just to complete basic tasks. I enjoy the game but without better balancing, players will leave to find a more fulfilling game.
  • Buggy as all get out Mar 16, 2021

    By MinaBel
The demand for energy is all important in the game, but good luck ever getting any. The rewards literally work less than half the time. If you watch videos for energy or spins, they almost never actually give you the boosts you just wasted your time watching videos for but they still get that ad money. It has the potential to be a bit of fun and it’s cute, but I don’t see myself keeping the game much longer given how glitchy it is. There are plenty of other games like this on the App Store so there isn’t any reason to keep playing one so glitchy and impossible to progress in. Edit: lowering to 2 stars. Bugs continued and have gotten actually worse over the past few weeks. I got tired of the app constantly freezing or crashing while playing the game. It’s even worse when watching video rewards. It was no longer worthwhile to me, so I’ve deleted. Which is a shame, because it’s a cute little game. But just not worth the frustrations.

I give you one more star for no pop-up ads. The resources/energy are so limited. It's ridiculous to have different steps while buiding something, and consume large amount of resource each step. The process of manufacturing things takes too long(why do you have to make them one by one). The dragons sleep too long (they also sleep one by one) and their stamina will be used up quickly after havesting. Slot take 300 min total to restore(15 min for one). The one and only way to play is WAITING
  • Money grabbing Jan 9, 2021

    By MehElsa
Do NOT recommend this game to anyone who respects their time and money. There’s no balance between resources, I’ve got hundreds of some kind of resources while I’m always lacking others. Building requirements are insane and the devs do nothing to fix it (they did some changes which made things worse). In fact, the devs NEVER listen to players even though they state otherwise, e.g. many players asked them to bring the special offer dragon and guess if they did (hint: no). Competitions are only for those who pay real cash or have hacked the game, only top 300 get some resource awards and there’s no way to get in top 300 if you play honest and have a real life. Decorations are pretty tasteless. It was a good game before the global release but nowadays since there’s plenty of players who are willing to pay, the devs do absolutely nothing to make the game better. Obviously, why bother doing anything when there are people stupid enough to pay for like it is now?
  • May 7, 2021

HORRIBLE! Watch ads to get anything. No energy, basically impossible unless you spend outrageous amounts of hard earned $$ to move a few feet. Quests give you nothing. Poduction times & request asks are also impossible, which obviously triggers a "must purchase". Getting free energy in-game, not one bit. Side games are a waste too. If you want to move to another Island, the previous Island closes 4ever. You lose resources and game will end. idk 2 min play per day??? Why pay for useless waste?
  • Fun base game Dec 19, 2020

    By Khonsu5
The base game is a lot of fun, having your home island, exploring others islands, hatching dragon eggs, creating different foods and items and doing quests. The game falls apart with its events however. Unless you spend money on them, they are near impossible to complete. On top of that, they punish higher levels by making them much harder to do quests by requiring items you “should” have unlocked but probably won’t, unless you’ve spent money, because even devoting a lot of time to the game still means you progress slow since you are limited by energy. This game is not casual friendly in its current state, and does not give a huge incentive to spend money as it feels more required to make the game feel complete, instead of making you feel good about supporting the game.
  • Potential needs sooo much work Feb 11, 2021

    By Frugal gamer
Ok so let me start with the pros. It’s a funny game and it’s got cute characters and a even cuter story line but it’s potentially expensive af. Excuse my French in saying that but you guys don’t even trick me to thinking i can play this game at length without paying for it. Like there’s some games I play that have MASTERED the pay to play deal and y’all ain’t it . Games like Ever Merge, Merge Dragons , Disney Heroes. These are games that give u enough of a game that u actually want to spend a few bucks here and there on it . You guys pretty much say “ in order to enjoy this game you will have to spend $30 a day to enjoy it” yeah ummmm no . Thank goodness I haven’t spent any money on this game cuz it would have been a waste. No thank you.
  • To many technical issues Dec 28, 2020

    By Maki2020hodges
I love the game itself and the concept but I have nothing but technical issues. I have contacted support and they tell me to do troubleshooting things like restarting my phone or the app. They tell me to restart my internet (which I cannot do if I’m using LTE but I try turning that of and on). They have even told me to link the game to an account and delete and redownload the game etc. nothing works and when I tell them that they don’t care they just say it’s fine on their end and say that it is just my phone that is the issue. Well I don’t have any issues with any other game on my phone. I feel like the technical support people are calling me a liar and that they don’t care about the users
  • Maybe fun...if I could do anything? Apr 22, 2021

    By Discopomp
Believe all the reviews complaining about energy, you can’t play long enough to do anything. This game might be fun...but I’ll never be able to play it for long enough to find out. The energy system is so punishing that you can’t do much at a time- I’m still on the first level and with a full bar I can maybe do two things and then may as well log out, it’s not like I got to a high level and hit a wall, the wall was there on day 1. I can do some crafting but even that’s limited enough that I ran out of money just doing the cheap stuff. I can’t get enough of an idea of what the game even is to know whether to spend the money on it the developers want.

A minor change I would like to see made to the game would be to add a marketplace feature. Being able to trade goods and materials with other players would be a huge improvement. Without it I seem to spend more time waiting on things than actually getting to play.

Really nice game. So many different things to do. Its a shame that your energy runs out so quickly. I would love to play this game for longer than 10min at a time. Remove 2 trees and your done..? Even with all the extra ways to get energy (slots, gifts, pots etc) its just not enough. Apart from that its a wonderful game.
  • Lots of pros, 1 big con Nov 29, 2020

    By Becca*329
I’m really enjoying this game, but only like 3 days into playing have run into the major drawback, energy costs. The game looks great, works well and is interesting, but everything costs energy. It’s annoying to wait ours for energy to restore, then do like 2-4 things then have to wait again. Also, I’ve gotten all the fruit trees and dragon flowers I’m allowed, and I’ve got more dragon stamina then I can use. This is even with the island I’m exploring and an event island to use up some of it. Still, the game is enjoyable despite the frustration.

This is a pretty fun game that kind of reminds me of Ravenwood. I honestly would be okay with watching additional advertisement in exchange for energy, as once a day is not enough. I feel like microtransactions are pretty much necessary if you want to play the game seriously, and I'm not really the type to spend money on mobile games. Still good for a solid 15-20 minutes of fairly entertaining play for free though
  • Fun game Feb 25, 2021

I’d without a doubt give it 5 stars but my only issue and it’s really really frustrating....is you spend a bunch of energy or wait hours to be able to harvest again and get very little of what you harvesting a lot of times only 1 and you need at least 5 on most things it’s a fun game but very time consuming to get the stuff to make what you need for quests etc. I love the dragons I wish some didn’t cost jewels every time but all in all a fun game.

Edit, enjoying the game. Felt the last event was more geared to allow the free to play to have fun as well as the pay and play. I'm glad they keep adding non timed islands. Would be 5 stars except the lunar new year timed event was frustrating. I knew I would not finish the whole island without spending real money, but it appears I am less than half way through and stuck with just an hour to go. No more timed events for me, they drain hard to get resources for little gain and little fun

This is a whimsical little game it would be a lot of fun if you had a lot of money to push into it. If you don’t have a lot of money to push into it. Your gameplay will be about 15 minutes a day, exploring. After that they’ve added a match game the last you another 15 minutes. It’s fun it’s cute it’s sweet, but it is a money pit.

This is a very cute game, I just wish they would make it easier to earn and SUSTAIN energy. Also, you have to have gems to create some of the dragons, and those run out VERY fast! Of course there are options to buy, but I prefer to play for free whenever possible. Make sustained play more available, and I will give you 5 stars.

Really cute dragons, but EVERYTHING needs energy, resources to build factories scarce, or always needed elsewhere, be it for the latest island or a delivery by board or that wretched helicopter. Am at level 42, have persisted for about 6 months, on last factory but, really, what else is there now? Haven't got anywhere near completing a special island for several campaigns and probably never would unless I spent real money for more energy or gems to use to BUY energy. Bu-bye bye.
  • Used to love it Feb 8, 2021

So I really loved this game. It was equally easy to advance with enough of a challenge to keep you interested but after you get to about level 30 you either have to spend money to advance or just stay where you’re at. There problem lies in farming. Between crops, buying trees and dragon flowers you can’t make enough money to buy new buildings you need for tasks. If it costs money to plant a crop you should get money back when harvesting but you don’t. Same with harvesting fruit and dragon flowers.
  • Very fun game, though it freezes a lot Jan 15, 2021

    By bon678
The game concept is wonderful. I do think that they should give more energy on a daily basis in order to complete actions. I also think that the upgrade of dragons should use less flowers since you don’t get a whole lot and they get expensive to buy. Otherwise, I’ve been playing this game for awhile now, it’s really addicting! Although if I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app for it to work, it’s kinda pointless to play. So I hope they fix that.

I would love to give this more stars because it's well made but the play time is short lived due to the energy/item removal ratio being way off. Takes less than a minute to spend the energy and after you're left with nothing to do! Maybe make a couple of goods..but that's it. Playing a game only for a minute every 8hrs makes it hard to enjoy.

  • Going good until......... Nov 9, 2020

By calm mutant from wooden hollow
Liked the game - then I went to another place- looking for someone- nothing but fog! Was instructed to place bomb to clear- everything froze! Can’t move bomb , character- nothing! Tried to pull up anything on the screen - again useless. I even took out a couple if other games- thinking the extra space might help- ( I’ll give you 3 guesses & the first 2 don’t count! Another way of saying not in your life will it allow me to do anything !) Not sure if it’s a game glitch - but if you could check it out- would LOVE to get back to playing it. If it starts acting right- I’ll change to 5 stars.
  • It's a full time job. Jan 24, 2021

    By tamarashannon2002
This game is lovely, and I enjoy the exploring and graphics. However, getting things built is painfully slow and laborious. (Even spending real money doesn't improve things much.) Just recently, it took me 3 days just to open a door because so many things had to be crafted first to do it. Furthermore, I have 4 buildings at home that will never be built because the opportunity to craft enough supplies for every level of each building just isn't there. Look, I already have a job. I don't need another. Certainly not one that never pays off. I deleted it.

The energy goes way, way too quickly, which forces you to spend A LOT of money to refurbish the energy. This game is set up to be a very, very HUGE money guzzler. If this game didn't have things that wasted energy too quickly, it'd be a great game. 88 of energy to chop down a tree, ridiculous. Don't waste your time or money. As for the dragons, they sleep ALL THROUGH THE GAME! The amount of gems to "wake" them up, adds up very, very, very quickly. DON'T INSTALL THE GAME!
  • Fun at first But get another game this one is my worth it. Jan 14, 2021

    By Cad one oh oh
The game starts with a lot of potential. Graphics are good and characters whimsically fun. Plenty of energy to accomplish tasks. But as you get up in levels your energy is very quickly used up in just a few tasks. You can buy items/ gems/energy but at a very expensive price. The game also gives you items that help but they are few and far between. The value for money is extremely terrible. Even the daily rewards hardly make a difference. Every time you purchase an item it’s price rises exponentially. SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY!!!
  • Sadly... bad Apr 8, 2021

    By Elainaxxx
I was super excited to see the layout, the cute graphics, and all the game has to offer. However, as soon as I went to harvest apples during the TUTORIAL (I’ve been playing for less than a minute), the game freezes. I close out and open up again, unable to proceed. No quests, no xp, nothing. Using energy on random things doesn’t work, and I require level 2 to do anything. This was a quick delete. I recommend the creators fix their game before releasing it. It has a lot of potential, but for me, it was a complete waste of time.
  • Great game, too expensive to keep playing Apr 1, 2021

    By Gummyworms81
The game itself is lots of fun. I love discovering new islands and dragons!! The tasks keep it interesting. Sadly, like all these games! unless I start paying for a monthly supply of energy, I really don’t have enough to complete any of this! FOR EXAMPLE: Soup Factory Level 3 (the cause of all my rage) costs: - 8 wooden spatula - 8 clay pan - 8 truffle pie For those of you who haven’t played the game - each of these items are multilayered! (1 clay pan recipe requires clay which requires sand which requires rocks/stones ) you gain stones by breaking rocks. Rocks range from 6-40 energy and you get 3 - 15 ish resources if you break them. Everyday you get ~ 300 ish energy ? Idk but point is once I do the math it only makes sense that if I played all day and everyday for 2 weeks I MAY BE ABLE TO GET A SOUP FACTORY! love the game though :)
  • Why am I seeing porn ads?! Jan 3, 2021

    By FlGS00
I honestly love this game, but watching ads to get more energy is necessary for making it playable. I don’t mind this when I see ads for similar games, but I’ve been looking for a way to block the inappropriately gory zombie game ads. Worse, today I was shown an ad for a pornographic game. As a woman, I’m offended that Apple even allows an app that exploits women in its store. It certainly shouldn’t be shown through a game advertised for children as young as four!
  • Progression is impossible Dec 20, 2020

    By Me24689642
This game is not balanced as far as making it possible to progress in the game without spending a fortune. Everything you do costs a ton of energy and drains energy. So you have to jump on and play for 2 seconds and then get off for an hour or two while you wait for energy to refill. Not being able to progress or make a difference without spending tons of money makes the game not fun but it had potential.
  • Way too expensive Apr 5, 2021

    By cnaniot
Run from this game. Way too expensive. App developer charges too much for too little. If you do not spend a lot of money you can’t get anywhere in the game and the further you get the more you have to spend. Apple should remove this predatory game and return the money spent on it. The developer should be blocked from putting out anymore of these things to take advantage of people and kids. This is ridiculous.

Security issue with this app. Do not allow it to connect to other devices on your network... this means it can connect to computers also using the same wifi connection. Watch out for spyware activity whren using this or any app. Developer needs to fix this. Close this app before using any other app on your phone for your safety.
