    Great app. However, Disney, you need to create a screen between your home screen and playing a movie. Like a title screen asking if you want to resume the movie or restart from the beginning. It becomes incredibly frustrating rewinding a movie, especially on the TV. Every other streaming service has the title screen I'm talking about. In case you need examples 🙄

    I grew up watching many a Disney shows. Signed up for Disney, most of them are not available. The ones that are, not available in my language (or a decent selection at all.. Ebglish and Spanish only, really?)There are official dubs that were aired on public television DECADES ago already, and Disney+ only has English for most of the shows IF they are even on there to watch. At least they finally have the Clone Wars (magnificent animation as always Tartakovsky is magnificent) but I had to wait for that as well. The app will crash/freeze if you hit the rewind button too often (not for people that like watching specific scenes again and again), and there is no option to either loop a video (Yes, I would like to have Biomes and Vehicle on in the background while I work/sleep), or to make it stop asking “are you still there” so at some point it will stop playing and if you have loud neighbors throwing on Dinsney+ to tune them out whilst you sleep is not an option. The quality of the videos themselves is top notch though, (volume could be louder, but visuals are GREAT). But, seriously, why own the rights to all these shows and not let people see them or make them available anywhere else? I want my nostalgic throwback to before. 3 STARS: because they’re sitting on the content they own, and deriving people of content that used to be readily available decades ago (used to be with basic cable for free, and now you get to pay and not see them)

    Disney+ is a pretty good app especially for hardcore Disney fans. But there are way too many issues for an app that you have to BUY. To begin, the volume quality is the worst for me. My hearing isn’t the best so I tend to turn the volume for things all the way up. I did this on my NEW computer, and NEW iPad and the volume was very low. The iPad volume was a bit better but still not as loud as I wanted and/or anticipated. Furthermore, it keeps recommending the same few amount of shows, movies etc. I want to be able to find new things to watch easier. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a hardcore Hamilton fan and I am pleased to see it on the main page, but everything else keeps getting recommended on and on and on. Continuing from Hamilton, this is not a necessary addition but I would like to see more musicals. It already has Hamilton and Newsies, and I enjoyed them the most out of anything on the app. But like I said this is an option and I know it’s meant for Disney things, that’s just what I want. There are a couple of more issues but I’m going to leave it on this final opinion, which is the 10 second fast forward button. Most of the time when I fast forward with the 10 second button the screen is just frozen. It happens on all of my devices and it’s quite annoying. Using the scroll bar with mostly my finger is not fun. That’s really all I have to say so I hope you, the reader take these notes into consideration. Take care!

    This app seems easy to use on the surface but it DOES NOT work on my phone. All of my other apps can be slow at times depending on my internet connection but this one hardly ever works at all. It's like it takes a ridiculous amount of processing power to run it since it only works when im on wifi and I have literally every other app closed. Half the time it just causes my phone to freeze up and crash entirely. I'm talking , phone just spontaneously restarts itself, crashing. Deleting this app.

    The have a lot of great stuff in the app but the app itself has a lot of bugs. When the screen pops up that says new episode, I try to press it but it does nothing. While playing a video, you have to be careful where you touch or else it will exit out of the video even if you touched nowhere near the back button. The play button buffers. Not the video, but the button itself. There are times when I want to pause the video/movie and I can’t because I have to wait for the play button to buffers. Sometimes the app just crashes for almost no reason. I’ll be watching something like The Simpsons and the app will just crash. Don’t get me wrong, it is not a bad app, it just needs some major improvements. They do have a lot of stuff on there. I personally have watch led a lot of their classic movies and the Disney+ originals. I recommend The World According to Jeff Goldblum and High School Musical: The Musical - The Series (i am a big High School Musical fan). I think Disney just needs to make some much needed changes to the app and fix all of the current issues. Also, in my opinion, they should add some of the ABC shows like Once Upon a Time or Blackish or Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. They should also make certain shows like The Simpsons the original aspect ratio. With certain older shows and movies, you miss some key details showing it in a 16:9 aspect ratio rather a 4:3 aspect ratio.

    I absolutely adore this app. I’ve got it on every single device Me and my family own. Including the TV. I do have issues logging in on one of my family’s devices, but it’s not Disney+, it’s the device itself. Disney+ has never given me issues, and this app by far is one my favorite apps out there. I know people actually blame Disney+ for their buffering and error problems, but remember: it’s not always Disney+. It could indeed be your device and there is no need to tell Disney+ that it’s their fault. Someone who wrote a review said to look up the truth behind Disney, and I did. Sorry Guys, but nothing fishy going on with them! If you too have seen this review, just know that Disney doesn’t treat their Child actors like slaves. Ofc people have made videos about “The Truth Behind Disney” but that’s just a video. You can’t trust everything the internet shows you. I have one more thing to say guys, so stay with me here. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t blame Disney plus for killing a character. The app only provides these shows and movies. They don’t make them. Considering the following: Don’t go blaming Disney plus for this kind of stuff. If I were to rate this app out of Ten, I’d actually give it a 12 instead 😅 Keep up the good work! ❤️Samantha

    As a child I grew up basking in the magic of Disney, from my early days with Dumbo, and Pinocchio, and Swiss Family Robinson, to Mary Poppins, the Sound Of Music, Peter Pan, and then to movies like Big, and Splash, and Pirates Of The Caribbean. And that magic seemed to get a booster shot when Pixar joined the club and I found myself becoming a kid again with Toy Story and Pixar’s so many other smash hits. But it wasn’t until I was rewatching Toy Story a few years ago when I realized what the Magic of Disney truly was. It was Walt’s vision of how the magic of the arts could be used so powerfully to bring out the best in us. It wasn’t until then that I realized, although kids could enjoy and benefit from Woody, Woody was actually speaking to us adults on how to graciously find our role with our children and this new generation. As I laughed while watching Soul, I was blown away by the insight Pixar once again brings to us. Our world is filled with a greater and greater need for more of Disney’s magic. I think maybe Pixar, Disney Corporate, and Disney+ deserve the next Nobel Peace Prize, or at least Time’s pick of the year for most influential in a positive way. Thank you Disney for all the joy and reminders of how we can still find and be our best.

    I LOVE this app and have really enjoyed introducing my kiddos to all of the classics! I feel like I am a kid again and am in 7th heaven when I come home and ALL of the Disney movies are just waiting for me! My kids love it and everyone has a new favorite show. All of our other streaming services have officially been forgotten so thank you Disney for saving my hard earned money and for putting all of the most amazing movies in one place!! Please do not remove older shows due to older views and fear of offending people. I love all Disney movies and appreciate them for what they were and acknowledge that views have drastically changed over the decades. Some items may be offensive, even to me as a African American woman but as so many other have pointed out these are better used as talking points for our children. We cannot alway run from the offensive history that we have, it happened, and it is better to learn from it than pretend like it has always been perfect (which it is far from perfect today). Also, I really hope we can an area that shows what we are “currently watching” and when I open up the movie it could have the bar that shows how much was completed. I know we have a “watchlist” but it doesn’t help having to search each time.

    My issues with Disney+ was that my account got hacked, the password was changed and I changed it again after realizing it was hacked. However, THE EMAIL WAS CHANGED TOO! WITHOUT ME EVEN KNOWING! How that was possible, I don't know. After calling customer service and being on the phone the first time, we changed the email and password, only to find out by the first not helpful representative, that they don't give the option to sign everyone out even though you are the administrator of the account, so changing everything was pointless. He basically states that the people who hacked the account will still have access even though I changed all of the login information. I was ready to quit the whole Disney+ until I called customer service again the following day and spoke to Shay, her kindness and helpfulness convinced me to stay with Disney+. She revoked the account immediately and then helped me make a new account. One thing that should be added is better security. For someone to take over my account so easily and change the email and password was a horrible experience. Another thing that should be added is being able to log everyone out as an administrator of the account. The app is decent because of the shows it offers, I do not encounter any buffering and so on; however, the security and privacy isn't that great. .

    This app is SOOOOOO gnarly I love it so much and Disney is getting so big that they’ve bought marvel Star Wars fox (I think) but I hope they'll add bunk’d to it because bunk’d is my FAVORITE all time show ever and it has been for the past half of my life (literally half of my life IM NOT KIDDING!!!!) and I want them to add the new episodes to like the one with Peyton coming back, and the ones with Trevor, because like seeing how much the cast has grown is so awesome I mean like Malory when she started bunk’d she just looked like a little baby and now she like a teenager and like the same with Alejandro and Will. I love Disney+ so much and it has shown me shows And movies I’ve never seen before and ever since WandaVision came out any time there is a new episode I watch it three time till I know every word to it! I love Disney SOOOOOOOOOOOO much and I’ve watched bunk’d so much that when I’m watching it I’ll say what the actor is saying because I memorize their lines! I hope one day I’ll be able to act in a show for Disney because it is my DREAM!!!!!!!!!     This app is utter trash. I guess unlike most other video apps they don't use the function where you can do a little miniscreen to watch while you do other stuff. Plus half the time I can't even open the app, when I do it usually won't actually work though. Signal is fine, I can go over to YouTube or Netflix and work perfectly, but I keep getting lagged and frozen and never watch anything with Disney+. Also, no free trial. Stupid. You waste all your money to find out the app doesn't work.

    Very disappointed, it won't let me download it to my phone, on my tvs it works when it wants to, one day it will work fine the other the sound doesn't want to work, it takes a while to open at times and it's not because of my internet because other things open up just fine. I'm very disappointed got this for my son and it doesn't even work right.

    I can watch shows and movies just fine alone, but if I try to Groupwatch with my sister I am unable to change the starting episode for the watch. If my sister attempts to host, I cannot join at all. I have reinstalled the app (I'm on a tablet), cleared my app data cache, and tried switching profiles but nothing works. Edit: Still hasn't been fixed. This entire app is falling apart and I will no longer be supporting or using it.

    We haven't been able to use thw app on any of our devices or TVs. We continue to get Error Code 83, which they say is an incompatible device. I cannot believe that ALL of our devices are incompatible. It works one day and later that day it stops working and the code appears. Now it has been 2 days.

    This app, despite the frequent updates, continues to get worse. It is almost completely unusable. It refuses to download anything, refuses to actually play a movie or show without buffering or never loading, and is overall just very broken. If you get the movie or show to work (which is almost never),don't hit the rewind or fast-forward buttons, you'll crash the app. Disney, despite being a multimillion dollar company, continues to dance around the true issues of their app in order to save money

    Great when it works but it doesn't work. I've tri r restarting my phone. Uninstalling and reinstalling and I can pull the episode I want to watch up but it won't play. It just sits there and loads for ever. Same with downloads. It's been doing this for over a month now and it's completely unusable. I originally left my review in early 2021. It is now April 2022, new phone, and NOTHING has been fixed from the original problem. I still can't use the app. Not sure how it has an average of 4 stars

    The recent reviews are accurate. I am having the same problems as everyone else. It takes forever to load.. the error codes change.. and it never seems to work (despite several attempts with the help center). I love Disney, but their app is horrible. I'm forced to cancel my subscription. So frustrating! Disney is better than this.

    Content is great...when the app actually works. I have not been able to open it on ANY of my devices for a couple of weeks now, even after checking for update, cache clearing, uninstalling, reinstalling, and even restarting each of my devices individually. It does this periodically and there's no reason the glitches should last as long as they do. You would think the developer of such a popular app would be able to work these problems out immediately.

    Doesn't work on Android. I have a Moto Z4 and when I watch anything on the app, the video doesn't show. I can hear the audio, see the subtitles, and scrub through the progress bar to see the scene preview. But watching the content is not possible......... (Every time I launch this app and the problem isn't fixed, I add a period at the end of my review)

    Love the content but the app is trash. It never remembers what episode I'm on in a series, so the "continue watching" list is unreliable. I always have to manually go to the show and scroll down the list of episodes. On the other hand, there is no quick option to start an episode from the beginning if you have watched some of it previously. Some other problems as well. Overall just slow and clunky compared to Netflix features.

All of our other streaming services have officially been forgotten so thank you Disney for saving my hard earned money and for putting all of the most amazing movies in one place!! Please do not remove older shows due to older views and fear of offending people. I love all Disney movies and appreciate them for what they were and acknowledge that views have drastically changed over the decades. Some items may be offensive, even to me as a African American woman but as so many other have pointed out these are better used as talking points for our children. We cannot alway run from the offensive history that we have, it happened, and it is better to learn from it than pretend like it has always been perfect (which it is far from perfect today). Also, I really hope we can an area that shows what we are “currently watching” and when I open up the movie it could have the bar that shows how much was completed. I know we have a “watchlist” but it doesn’t help having to search each time.

    This app is SOOOOOO gnarly I love it so much and Disney is getting so big that they’ve bought marvel Star Wars fox (I think) but I hope they'll add bunk’d to it because bunk’d is my FAVORITE all time show ever and it has been for the past half of my life (literally half of my life IM NOT KIDDING!!!!) and I want them to add the new episodes to like the one with Peyton coming back, and the ones with Trevor, because like seeing how much the cast has grown is so awesome I mean like Malory when she started bunk’d she just looked like a little baby and now she like a teenager and like the same with Alejandro and Will. I love Disney+ so much and it has shown me shows And movies I’ve never seen before and ever since WandaVision came out any time there is a new episode I watch it three time till I know every word to it! I love Disney SOOOOOOOOOOOO much and I’ve watched bunk’d so much that when I’m watching it I’ll say what the actor is saying because I memorize their lines! I hope one day I’ll be able to act in a show for Disney because it is my DREAM!!!!!!!!!     Have a 150+ Mbps internet connection and think Disney + should work fine when you pay for it? Yeah, me too. However, the app is buffering nearly all the time and sometimes stops in the middle of shows to show the “BLUE SPIRAL OF SLOW” as the app attempts to catch up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, closing and restarting the app and device more times than we care to keep track of, checking for updates and...oh yes, I would think a minimum 150 Mbps download should be adequate for an app that requires 5 and 25 Mbps for HD and 4K playback, respectively, but who knows? Also, as an added insult, try using the forward or backward playback arrow just once in the app to skip ahead or back a few seconds and you will incur the wrath of the blue spiral for the rest of the episode that you happen to be watching. I might expect such problems from lesser apps, but naively thought Disney would have fixed them early on...and yet here we are. I have asked before (to no avail) and shall ask again...please fix the problems! You get 2 stars because the content is and would be nice to watch, but the bugs in your app for both iPhone and iPad make it difficult to enjoy.

    Disney plus is the most amazing thing ever. It’s so awesome and has all your favorite Disney shows in one place. I love how you can travel anywhere and still be able to watch. Disney plus owns marvel now too so now I can watch the also awesome marvel movies for free! Not all the marvel movies are on their though. Like Spider-Man and other things I don’t remember. Disney plus is just my favorite app on this planet and I love it so much! I’m young so I don’t exactly know the pricing information but I’m sure it’s reasonable. Also the new Loki series is so good! Also I love the Mickey Mouse shorts they are hilarious and I keep re-watching all of them. Disney plus has the greatest shows ever and it has movies and shows for all ages. There are a ton of sections to choose from like “Comedy” and “Loki collection” and “princesses collection” and this new thing they added called Zenimation and it’s where you relax with Disney characters and it put me right to sleep. Although I don’t really watch princess movies besides Rupenzel and Moana, I think zenimation is so cool and relaxing. Disney plus holds all these amazing shows and movies and all you have to do is go through a couple steps to watch!

    Disney+ is one of the best streaming services of all. You get to watch five tv companies for only $6.99 a month! But, I want to give a recommendation for the kids profile. I would add a teens section since not a lot of teens (and I mean A LOT) wouldn’t want to watch only like Mickey Mouse or Disney Junior. Instead you can find some teen appropriate stuff for us teens to watch! Like I know some movies aren’t on the kids section because they are not mature enough for that, but I know some movies on the adult section would still be able for teens. And my sister (10) would love to have a tween section because a lot of movies or shows they wouldn’t like because Disney Junior because, well it’s for babies to young graders. And because they have to see more stuff for their age or else they will still be sucking on a pacifier by the time there 10! Or if you don’t want to do that, maybe if the child types their age, age recommendations for their age would pop up and they could watch it!     Hi please listen. Do do you ever wanna watch Disney movies or tv stows but you don’t know what do you want to watch or do you ever want options between Star Wars or Marvel? If you have that problem then I have a solution for you get Disney+! I have Disney+ and I love it! One reason why I love it is because I can have it on my tv iPod, iPad, or phone. Also if my sister is watching tv and I want to watch Disney+ then I can go on my iPad and watch. It’s awesome!! Another reason why I love Disney+ is because I can choose from so many different Disney movies or tv shows. Also I can watch all shows like Hannah Montana. Here’s one more reason why Disney+ is awesome. The quality is excellent! It’s super cheap and it’s so great. What I mean is there’s so many movies and TV shows I can watch and it’s not a lot of money. I can watch a new Marvel movie without going to the store and paying for that movie to buy it. I Disney+ I can just watch it and there’s more options! I can just watch the movie the fort so I remember and then watch that new movie so I can remember what happened before!     Just kidding.. but really Disney+ may be a competitor to Netflix but since I started my free trial & now Verizon promotion subscription - my family & I have been watching Disney+ non-stop. Of course being that this is a new app there are some small bugs but nothing that isn’t going to deter a Disney fan from loving this app anyway! Some of the movies listed aren’t available until certain dates like January 1, 2020 or sometime in April but it’s not all of the movies and I think for the most part most the hit movies are available to watch. It would be nice to have an open platform with all the movies available but you know what? For only $6.99 a month you can’t beat that. Thank you Disney for being a millennial-friendly subscription - all your movies especially Pixar have grown with my generation in mind. We appreciate you! If you have a Verizon unlimited plan definitely enroll in the Disney+ promotion it is so worth it not only for those of you who have children but sometimes us adults need some Disney magic in our lives as well - pretty sure Walt Disney himself said something of that sort at one point. Don’t come for me if he didn’t but I’m pretty sure he did :)

    Addendum: They added a continue watching and a recommended for you. Increased to 4 stars, now just waiting for new content to see how it goes. I got this app for the bew star wars stuff coming out which is awesome. And it has things from the vault, old cartoons. It has sub sections: star wars/disney/marvel etc. that being said. Theirs things to work on. Theirs no continue watching, you need to either add it to your current watch to the watchlist or search every time. And it wont always remember where you left off especially for shows itll just replay ep 1 however i havent had this issue with movies, it remembers my place most times. It freezes often requiring you to close and reopen the app(ps4) havent had freeze issues on tablet. Itll also freeze and then go back a minute replaying things as it tries to correct itself. The current library is very limited to older disney movies. As i believe other streaming oroviders have current contracts for certain movies they prolly wont be able to add them to disney+ till other hulu/netflix movies are done with their contracts example is a limited marvel movie selection. They have plans to add more shows/movies so i think itll be like netflix where they add and remove shows and movies. When its less buggy I’ll prolly give it 4-5 stars at that time.

    I love Disney+ and use it a lot. I can watch it on the go now with the app on my phone! It’s a great app and I love a lot of the shows and movies. Every movie night, I use Disney+ to watch a movie. Overall, it’s awesome. However, when I used to have Netflix, I could give a show or movie a thumbs up or thumbs down. If I gave it a thumbs down, it wouldn’t suggest that show or movie and it wouldn’t suggest anything like that. Now, if I gave it a thumbs up, it’d continue to suggest shows and movies similar to the the one I liked. I wish Disney+ could have these buttons. In my opinion, that’d make the app better. I get tired of tv shows I don’t like, appreciate, or approve popping up for me. For example, the offensive and terrible show, The Simpsons, always pops up in “suggested for you”. I wish it didn’t though because I really don’t like the show. There’s some other movies that pop up too that I don’t really care for and I wish I could find movies that I’d like easier. I wish shows and movies that I might actually like could pop up in my suggestions. I feel that with a button or chance to rate a show or movie it could really help improve the app. Other than that, I think the app is great.

    I know Mulan was probably a expensive movie to put together but I already have Premier Access so why do I have to pay for the exact same thing just to watch one movie? I know you guys still have to make money during the pandemic but I’m not gonna pay 30$ just to watch one movie and your probably gonna do this again and make everyone who had payed 30$ for Mulan pay an extra 30$ to watch another movie. I was so excited to watch Mulan because I had Premier Access and I didn’t understand that I had to pay for it twice because the wording of it was weird all I understood was “Avaliable with Premier Access” I asked my mom if we had Premier Access and she said yes. I waited until MIDNIGHT to see if I could watch it and when I saw I couldn’t I nearly broke down in tears. No joke. I searched when it would be available and it turns out I have to wait an extra 3 months before getting to watch it. December 4 is a long way off and with school starting it’s gonna take even longer. The more bored you are at school the longer the year is gonna take. Which means by the time It’s December 4 I’m probably gonna forget this movie exists and I’m gonna go on to Disney+ and be saying to myself “I’ll watch it later”.

    I use Disney plus all the time to watch all of my favorite Disney shows and movies. There are a lot of problems that will HAVE to be figured out! But the one that upsets me the most, actually two or more: one; if I switch devices it will often forget where I was in an episode and restart it from the beginning forcing me to skip to where I left off. Also unlike a lot of other streaming platforms, there is no PROGRESS BAR per episode, to show how far you have watched through an episode. If you open the show it will not automatically place you in the season you are watching, you have to go and choose season and scroll to the correct one. On the mobile app there is no way to view episodes if you click on the resume watching box, unlike a lot of other platforms! My mobile device will also often not automatically play the next episode, when I was a kid I dreamed of the day it would automatically play the next episode and guess what everyone else has figured it out! I like the blue circle around the play button about 5 seconds, but it is often not there! So frustrating! I like the idea and content but the curtain should have been held as we say in show business, before release!

    So Disney Plus is literally the future. All of my all time fave movies are finally all in one place! INCLUDING Marvel, National Geographic, and Pixar. Now this one little app is all of the BEST movies out there. I can’t even begin to explain how easy this makes life. I can watch Aladdin AND Avengers on the SAME platform!! While this is incredibly mind boggling there is an issue I think they need to fix or spread awareness about. I have one account for the family and I decided that I wanted to make an account just for me. So I looked up weather it would cost more money, and everything read that it would be no extra charge to make up to seven accounts. I thought this was great so I made a new account; a few days later it showed a little banner overhead my account saying that it would up my charge starting the 28th. This made me so MAD that every website I went to said this would be free when it wasn’t. I do understand that this was not Disney Plus fault, but I do want them to spread awareness that some people are saying these things.     Here is the thing, I love Disney, my family loves Disney. Everyone young and old loves Disney. I think it’s an amazing app, with some even better features, and yes it has a bunch of glitches (which I’m not stressing about because in time those would be fixed), there are some things missing, (again could be fixed in the future, maybe something’s just need to be developed better, whatever the case may be). Those things don’t bother me. This is what I don’t like...,, ...The majority of the people who’ll be using this app are people who aren’t tech savvy or children. They aren’t always using the most up to date device or software, some children that are using Disney plus (which o can attest to) are children using gen 3 iPads. Or iPhone 4s. Things that are Easy in the hands of children. But unfortunately the app doesn’t support those devices, as they are too old for use. It would be fantastic if it was, I think they would have a lot more viewership but at this rate it’s very hard to use such a wonderful app on such an old device. I mean Netflix does work on things that old. Disney please consider this. Not everyone can or will upgrade a child’s device just so they can watch Disney movies.

    So my family has gotten this and it is a great app! But the only thing is a minor bug. So I was bringing our iPad on a car trip, and before we went, I downloaded some episodes of my favorite Disney TV show so I could watch them offline in the car, and I stared watching them on the way to our carpool mates, and I noticed that it wasn’t as smooth as it was supposed to be... So I just thought, “Oh, this happens all the time with Netflix, so it shouldn’t be a big deal with this. I can fix it later.” So we dropped the iPad off at our house, and a few hours later, we came home, and I started to watch some more of the show, and it was still... Grainy, if you know what I mean? So I went to my dad and asked if he could fix it, but he didn’t know how, so I tried restarting the app, but it wasn’t smooth still. I tried restarting the whole iPad, but it still wouldn’t fix. So I finally figured that if I delete the app and then get it back again, it would be fixed. And we signed in again, and it worked that time... Quite an annoying situation, but it was... Kind of an “ easy” fix, but maybe you guys could fix this problem for an update. Thank you for your time! Fan

    Overall I love Disney plus. There are so many shows/movies to select from that it’s hard for a Disney lover to decide where to start. Since today was launch day I know there will be some kinks that need to be worked out. I just wanted to list some issues or recommendations that could/should possibly be addressed in a future update. I saw one review mention that stuff they were adding to their watchlist wasn’t saving. I ran into that same issue. Another issue I ran into was my auto play wasn’t working. I have that setting turned on but when watching a series it does not automatically play the next episode. I also noticed that an episode was missing from season 1 of the little mermaid series. My recommendations for possible updates are: (1) add a “continue watching” section that shows what I was last watching and didn’t finish. (2)when watching a series have the episodes that users have watched marked in some way that shows they’ve been watched. Currently having to remember what episode I left off on. (3) maybe add a DCOM section so all those are in one place. Overall, I love Disney+ and I’m so excited to keep streaming all my Disney favorites

    I absolutely love Disney+ it has brought me back to my childhood and that’s a wonderful thing to give to the world right now. All the Disney channel originals i could never find anywhere else is all right here and it makes my heart so full of happiness and nostalgia. But there’s a few issues as others have said. First, why does it have the second movie and not the first one for some titles not all but I have been noticing it with a few movies. Like with National Treasure for example, the first one’s not coming out till April 2020 what was the thought process there?! Second, when you go to rewind a movie with the touch screen in your phone it’s not accurate at all. I’ll go to a certain time take my finger off gently i might add and then it either jumps way ahead or behind of what I actually chose. Third, like others said the continued watching section is terrible why do i have to go back and search for where i was on some movies I’ve never seen, that’s just asking for spoilers just like the rewinding situation. I think with some adjustments you have yourself a truly fantastic app and a gift to the world. Thank you. 🤍

    Great app. However, Disney, you need to create a screen between your home screen and playing a movie. Like a title screen asking if you want to resume the movie or restart from the beginning.     I grew up watching many a Disney shows. Signed up for Disney, most of them are not available. The ones that are, not available in my language (or a decent selection at all.. Ebglish and Spanish only, really?)There are official dubs that were aired on public television DECADES ago already, and Disney+ only has English for most of the shows IF they are even on there to watch. At least they finally have the Clone Wars (magnificent animation as always Tartakovsky is magnificent) but I had to wait for that as well. The app will crash/freeze if you hit the rewind button too often (not for people that like watching specific scenes again and again), and there is no option to either loop a video (Yes, I would like to have Biomes and Vehicle on in the background while I work/sleep), or to make it stop asking “are you still there” so at some point it will stop playing and if you have loud neighbors throwing on Dinsney+ to tune them out whilst you sleep is not an option. The quality of the videos themselves is top notch though, (volume could be louder, but visuals are GREAT). But, seriously, why own the rights to all these shows and not let people see them or make them available anywhere else? I want my nostalgic throwback to before. 3 STARS: because they’re sitting on the content they own, and deriving people of content that used to be readily available decades ago (used to be with basic cable for free, and now you get to pay and not see them)

    Disney+ is a pretty good app especially for hardcore Disney fans. But there are way too many issues for an app that you have to BUY. To begin, the volume quality is the worst for me. My hearing isn’t the best so I tend to turn the volume for things all the way up. I did this on my NEW computer, and NEW iPad and the volume was very low. The iPad volume was a bit better but still not as loud as I wanted and/or anticipated. Furthermore, it keeps recommending the same few amount of shows, movies etc. I want to be able to find new things to watch easier. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a hardcore Hamilton fan and I am pleased to see it on the main page, but everything else keeps getting recommended on and on and on. Continuing from Hamilton, this is not a necessary addition but I would like to see more musicals. It already has Hamilton and Newsies, and I enjoyed them the most out of anything on the app. But like I said this is an option and I know it’s meant for Disney things, that’s just what I want. There are a couple of more issues but I’m going to leave it on this final opinion, which is the 10 second fast forward button. Most of the time when I fast forward with the 10 second button the screen is just frozen. It happens on all of my devices and it’s quite annoying. Using the scroll bar with mostly my finger is not fun. That’s really all I have to say so I hope you, the reader take these notes into consideration. Take care!

    This app seems easy to use on the surface but it DOES NOT work on my phone. All of my other apps can be slow at times depending on my internet connection but this one hardly ever works at all. It's like it takes a ridiculous amount of processing power to run it since it only works when im on wifi and I have literally every other app closed. Half the time it just causes my phone to freeze up and crash entirely. I'm talking , phone just spontaneously restarts itself, crashing. Deleting this app.

    The have a lot of great stuff in the app but the app itself has a lot of bugs. When the screen pops up that says new episode, I try to press it but it does nothing. While playing a video, you have to be careful where you touch or else it will exit out of the video even if you touched nowhere near the back button. The play button buffers. Not the video, but the button itself. There are times when I want to pause the video/movie and I can’t because I have to wait for the play button to buffers. Sometimes the app just crashes for almost no reason. I’ll be watching something like The Simpsons and the app will just crash. Don’t get me wrong, it is not a bad app, it just needs some major improvements. They do have a lot of stuff on there. I personally have watch led a lot of their classic movies and the Disney+ originals. I recommend The World According to Jeff Goldblum and High School Musical: The Musical - The Series (i am a big High School Musical fan). I think Disney just needs to make some much needed changes to the app and fix all of the current issues. Also, in my opinion, they should add some of the ABC shows like Once Upon a Time or Blackish or Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. They should also make certain shows like The Simpsons the original aspect ratio. With certain older shows and movies, you miss some key details showing it in a 16:9 aspect ratio rather a 4:3 aspect ratio.

    My issues with Disney+ was that my account got hacked, the password was changed and I changed it again after realizing it was hacked. However, THE EMAIL WAS CHANGED TOO! WITHOUT ME EVEN KNOWING! How that was possible, I don't know. After calling customer service and being on the phone the first time, we changed the email and password, only to find out by the first not helpful representative, that they don't give the option to sign everyone out even though you are the administrator of the account, so changing everything was pointless. He basically states that the people who hacked the account will still have access even though I changed all of the login information. I was ready to quit the whole Disney+ until I called customer service again the following day and spoke to Shay, her kindness and helpfulness convinced me to stay with Disney+. She revoked the account immediately and then helped me make a new account. One thing that should be added is better security. For someone to take over my account so easily and change the email and password was a horrible experience. Another thing that should be added is being able to log everyone out as an administrator of the account. The app is decent because of the shows it offers, I do not encounter any buffering and so on; however, the security and privacy isn't that great. .

    It...works. It is getting better over time. Trying to fast forwards and rewind will break the app. Movie sharing is an absolute pain. Especially if the person is in another country, you literally can't watch it together because they have different titles and some minor alterations. It's UI isn't that great either. Downloaded files often corrupt when you go to watch them without internet.

    this review is more geared towards the developers...I love and appreciate all of the disney content on this app but the app seems to only push specific series and not any that are tailored for my experience. It would be much better to see suggested series or movies instead of the same few disney originals that Disney wants to push so often. It makes it kind of hard to see or consider watching all of the content that is on this app unless I specifically search for a title to watch on my own. Along with this, I have had the same problem with this app since the day that I’ve downloaded it and i’m hoping this bug gets fixed soon...Every time I press the reverse/forwards 10 second button the movie will reverse/forwards to where it needs to be, but the loading animation would stay on the screen. The problem with this is that it prevents me from pausing or reversing/forwarding any other time after this one time because the loading animation would still be on the screen if I attempt to do so. The buttons do not reappear. It doesn’t obstruct the view of the streaming media and it’s only there when I tap to attempt to pause but it prevents me from taking any other action after i’ve done it once before. I hope mentioning these things has been helpful and I look forward to this bug being fixed soon.

    EDIT: Lowered my rating to 3. My previous issue was fixed but now the color in everything looks washed out. Whether I’m watching Hamilton, a marvel movie, or a show, it all looks as if the colors have been washed out. All of my other streaming apps work and look just fine when I’m casting it to my chromecast but Disney+ doesn’t. Any help here, Disney? Just like everyone else here, I was very excited to use Disney+ and watch all the old favorites along with the new original shows. I’m very happy with the service thus far but I’ve been having an issue with the auto play feature since the release of the app. I use my iPhone X to cast Disney+ movies/shows to my Google ChromeCast. When watching a show, the app will stop streaming after the second episode. It’ll go back to the placeholder screen that says “Ready to cast” but it won’t let me select the next episode. I have to disconnect my phone from the ChromeCast, close the app, then re-open it and reconnect to the ChromeCast. After that I can play the next episode but the same thing happens again after the second episode. Not sure what the issue is, this doesn’t happen when I use other streaming apps like Netflix or HBO GO. A fix to this would be appreciated. Other than that, Disney+ has been great.

    We have just about every streaming app you can think of, and as much as I want this one to be my favorite, it's definitely the worst and the most unreliable. We use Disney+ every single day since we have Little's that NEED to watch Encanto on a constant loop, however myself and my husband are huge Marvel fans so we use it just as much as the kids do. My kids lost the remote to our TV last week, and I have stripped this house bare trying to find it and can't. So we have been relying on screen mirroring and casting. Disney+ is the only app that we have that refuses to work. When we did have our TV remote and could use Disney+ it would ALWAYS (about every 30 minutes) kick us out and tell us our internet was working. So we would just exit the app and go back in and it would be fine. We just moved into a new home and I was hoping the connection with the app would be better. Nope. It still times out about every 30 minutes and tells us there no internet connection when everything else in our house is working just fine. Basically when this happens you would have to exit the app, then return and if MIGHT start to work. The only reason I haven't deleted this app already is because my daughter HAS to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

    Love the content but the app is trash. It never remembers what episode I'm on in a series, so the "continue watching" list is unreliable. I always have to manually go to the show and scroll down the list of episodes. On the other hand, there is no quick option to start an episode from the beginning if you have watched some of it previously. Some other problems as well. Overall just slow and clunky compared to Netflix features.

    For an app that we pay for, you'd think that it would work more often than it actually does. Only gave it 2 stars because it's quite enjoyable when it does work. We may live in an area with little wifi connection, but Netflix never seems to have any issues with loading for us. Disney plus only ever loads once in a blue moon. If you don't live in an area with stable internet, don't waste your money.

    There’s an excellent library of content in here. However the constant frequent mandatory required software updates are ridiculous. I’ve never had an app that mandates a full software update as often as this one. Disney is wasting my time and bandwith. I’ve been a subscriber since day one of the service and there’s been over 15 mandatory updates in 18 months. Also it’s very difficult to see my own selection of my titles that I’ve saved in my favorites because Disney chooses to only let us see its graphical icons of some movie poster rather than just presenting it in text. Also, I add movies to my favorites list and Disney remove them whenever they want. It’s my list of my favorites, but whenever Disney take something out of its library even temporarily remove my favorites from my list. That’s just horrible customer service and their idiot buyers who make decisions on what movies to add and delete should look at their users favorites list first and not screw over their customers. How about Letting users sort their own favorites list alphabetically or by category or by date of release of the movie. Instead Disney only lets us see the list using it’s ridiculous movie poster blockbuster VCR tape icons that are hard to see and often have dark lettering on dark backgrounds.

    App works great through non-iOS devices but locks up about every 20-40 minutes on iPhone or iPad. Not just the app itself, but most other apps lose connection to their servers as a result despite that several speed tests show the device is still well connected to WAN. Doesn’t happen with any other apps and is consistent across multiple devices. I’d suggest the devs look into how Disney+ handles data traffic on iOS because having to turn WiFi off and on several times an hour is simply aggravating. Also, regardless of connectivity… it would be an absolutely smashing idea to make it easier to access the main menu for recently-watched series (I.e. the page that lets you select seasons and browse episodes). I’m sure it’s either an oversight or perhaps too difficult to implement basic infrastructure changes, but so far, users only have the option to restart the last series episode from the home page and exiting with the “<“ option at top left just brings you back to home. Wouldn’t it be especially nice to not have to click through multiple menus to find the series you were watching (for me it may have been seconds ago) every single time you use the app (aka what customers should and do expect)?

    The Disney+ app isn’t allowed in my region and if it Would be allowed internationally and in Middle East it would make the app more successful, every year I travel to California for vacation and I use it there but when I get back home I would want to continue what I’m watching but it’s not allowed, don’t get me wrong I love the app but it would be so much better if you can change it for people to use internationally and every country and city should try this app! This would mean so much to me, I grew up watching Disney Channel on tv and some shows and movies are better on the app because their shows and movies that have finished their finale are in the app... I miss so many shows but I’m unable to watch them on the app, if it would be allowed in the Middle East I would have put 5 stars and if there were 100 stars I’ll do it but I can’t since I don’t use the app here. Since COVID i can’t go to California obviously, I don’t go out as much and I get really bored at home and Netflix is just adding unnecessary stuff which I don’t like and this app is kinda better than Netflix and it would be the best to watch it here, I hope that you take this into consideration that you’d fix it..... thanks..

    Probably the most painful movie watching experience I endured on Apple TV. Impossible to find how turn on or turn off subtitles. When fast forwarding or rewinding a movie app automatically changes the language, seriously you go back few seconds to rewatch the scene and now you are watching this scene in some other language randomly selected by app, although German seems to be favorite. When using Siri only phrase like “turn english” seem to work while more appropriate “change language” does not yield anything. Native Apple TV settings for language, disabled accessibility (voice over), subtitles etc do not work in this app. Fast forwarding and rewinding in itself is a pain. Support is automated and I was not able to find solutions to any of these problems. Complicated to find the movie you have not finished watching (would expect it to be offered). So not too consumer-centric approach at the moment. Hope they would look at apps of their competition and improve its own. On the positive side they did great sorting of Marvel movies so you can see chronological or story-line orders. Lackluster experience overall. Waiting for upgrade and will be happy to give better review when improvements are made.

    As a streaming service Disney plus is very good but as an app it is bad. This is not a review of the service but a review of the app. One of my points for Disney plus being a bad app is that it crashes randomly and will not open for a bit after it crashes. Recently my power went out and since I had a lot of stuff downloaded on Disney plus I thought I would watch that until my power got back on. But when I opened the app it went to a dark blue screen and then crashed I tried again but the same happened. Then I tried to restart my iPad and try again. When I opened up Disney plus after I restarted my iPad the same thing happened. So instead of using Disney plus I had to use Netflix. When my power got back on I had to delete Disney plus and redownload almost 100GB of shows and movies. The reason I’m writing this is because just now a few days after I I redownloaded Disney plus and all my shows and movies the same thing is happening I thought it would be solved with the new update but no. I have not found any way to stop this and I am very mad. Disney plus needs to put more work into there app and it’s quality control. If anyone from Disney plus is reading this please help me and thank you to every one who has read this.

    Update: So somehow as you watch content it is saved into documents and data. I have no content downloaded within the app but somehow over 6GB of documents and data?? Also it shows multiple episodes downloaded in the storage setting view of the iPhone that aren’t downloaded within the Disney plus app itself. After deleting those episodes that aren’t downloaded but somehow are, there was still over 590MB of documents and data. I deleted and reinstalled the app and it had mere kb of data. As I start watching content again, the documents and data keeps increasing, what gives? I have tons of other streaming apps that don’t do this, it’s a major hassle, please fix! Original review:Lots of things already available. The menus and selection content loads quickly and the playback quality is very good. Also tried it on the Roku and it also looks way better than every other streaming app I have. Things load and begin to play quickly. They have a search function but they also have multiple ways of categorizing so you can get to what you want pretty quickly as well. So far it’s working and looking great, have to see how it does when millions of people are using it at the same time.

    I was going to rate this 5 stars this morning, but when I went to my offline downloads (as I don’t always have access to WiFi, I love downloading shows offline), all of my movies and shows were GONE. If it was a single movie or two, or an episode or two, I wouldn’t be upset- I’d chalk it up to a glitch. BUT ALL OF MY DOWNLOADS?! Disney, It shows I have no downloads, BUT THAT IS A LIE! I had the entirety of SVTFOE, Owl House, and Gravity falls downloaded, as well as Big Hero 6, Descendants 1, 2, and 3, and a few old 9 minute Disney animations such as Through the Looking Glass and Trick or treat. Including the new and old Alice in Wonderland movies. And to see them all gone?! No thank you Disney. I thought it was better since my downloads didn’t expire like Netflix did and just having to renew them. If I had to renew them, I would be peeved but not so vigorously upset and maybe have given it 4 stars. But seriously Disney+ and Co., I just wanted to download my shows and movies for my road trips and younger siblings. Everything else, including content and shows are beautiful and great quality, but I still am ticked after seeing downloads I’ve had for a few months just DISSAPEAR.

    Getting two stars because of this app missing the simplest streaming features out there across all devices. Not being able to easily resume a movie/show gets beyond irritating. Especially when they release a resume feature couple weeks after launch only to find out it’s broken, you have to manually search through the app each time to find what you were watching; find it, hit resume and it simply restarts. Thought it was my device messing up, but same happens on mobile, pc, fire stick and playstation. Don’t understand how such a big company that claims to be the new kings of streaming can’t even manage to have the simplest features work. Playbacks constantly skip where the video freezes and the audio continues. This can last 5-10 seconds, goes in a loading loop and then rewinds back to the spot before it hit the video freeze. This has also been happening since launch and happens quite often. Overall it’s a pretty crappy app that was rushed and never optimized for common use. Great selection but unless you want to deal with a headache trying to watch what you want, i’d wait till Disney decides to fix this app as it feels like a Beta testing.

    This app is utter trash. I guess unlike most other video apps they don't use the function where you can do a little miniscreen to watch while you do other stuff. Plus half the time I can't even open the app, when I do it usually won't actually work though. Signal is fine, I can go over to YouTube or Netflix and work perfectly, but I keep getting lagged and frozen and never watch anything with Disney+. Also, no free trial. Stupid. You waste all your money to find out the app doesn't work.

    Very disappointed, it won't let me download it to my phone, on my tvs it works when it wants to, one day it will work fine the other the sound doesn't want to work, it takes a while to open at times and it's not because of my internet because other things open up just fine. I'm very disappointed got this for my son and it doesn't even work right.

    I can watch shows and movies just fine alone, but if I try to Groupwatch with my sister I am unable to change the starting episode for the watch. If my sister attempts to host, I cannot join at all. I have reinstalled the app (I'm on a tablet), cleared my app data cache, and tried switching profiles but nothing works. Edit: Still hasn't been fixed. This entire app is falling apart and I will no longer be supporting or using it.

    We haven't been able to use thw app on any of our devices or TVs. We continue to get Error Code 83, which they say is an incompatible device. I cannot believe that ALL of our devices are incompatible. It works one day and later that day it stops working and the code appears. Now it has been 2 days.

    This app, despite the frequent updates, continues to get worse. It is almost completely unusable. It refuses to download anything, refuses to actually play a movie or show without buffering or never loading, and is overall just very broken. If you get the movie or show to work (which is almost never),don't hit the rewind or fast-forward buttons, you'll crash the app. Disney, despite being a multimillion dollar company, continues to dance around the true issues of their app in order to save money

    Great when it works but it doesn't work. I've tri r restarting my phone. Uninstalling and reinstalling and I can pull the episode I want to watch up but it won't play. It just sits there and loads for ever. Same with downloads. It's been doing this for over a month now and it's completely unusable. I originally left my review in early 2021. It is now April 2022, new phone, and NOTHING has been fixed from the original problem. I still can't use the app. Not sure how it has an average of 4 stars

    The recent reviews are accurate. I am having the same problems as everyone else. It takes forever to load.. the error codes change.. and it never seems to work (despite several attempts with the help center). I love Disney, but their app is horrible. I'm forced to cancel my subscription. So frustrating! Disney is better than this.

    Content is great...when the app actually works. I have not been able to open it on ANY of my devices for a couple of weeks now, even after checking for update, cache clearing, uninstalling, reinstalling, and even restarting each of my devices individually. It does this periodically and there's no reason the glitches should last as long as they do. You would think the developer of such a popular app would be able to work these problems out immediately.

    Doesn't work on Android. I have a Moto Z4 and when I watch anything on the app, the video doesn't show. I can hear the audio, see the subtitles, and scrub through the progress bar to see the scene preview. But watching the content is not possible......... (Every time I launch this app and the problem isn't fixed, I add a period at the end of my review)

    Absolute garbage app. I have it updated to the newest version, have strong internet connection, and a full phone battery. It let's me log in, search the titles I'm looking for, but when I click play, it loads for 5 seconds, then a message saying "unable to play this title" everytime without fail. I also can't download offline either. It'll start the download, but then 5 seconds later get a different error message. For such a rich company, they are very incompetent with running a simple app
