Love being able to access past fights! The price for the subscription doesn't come close to the PPV prices you'd pay in a year if you watch all the big boxing fights like we do! And, most importantly, ALL of Canelo's fights are on DAZN!!!!

Ok, so I would consider myself a mild fighting fan. I like to watch mma fights and boxing but I wouldn’t consider myself a huge follower. I do like to watch some of these big fights though. So I downloaded this app thinking you might be able to just pay to watch certain fights or pay for a plan that might let you watch certain fights but no. You either pay 20$ a month or 100$ a year. Outrageous. And you might say well if you’re not a huge fan just watch what’s on tv and shut up. Well that’s the thing some of these I fights I really want to watch aren’t available on regular tv. But really? 100$? No way I’m gonna pay that much to watch maybe the 7 or 8 big fights (that aren’t available anywhere else) a year that I’m gonna watch. Unfortunately with some of these fights I can’t watch them anywhere else. It truly is a shame. I genuinely hope someone starts another company that can compete. Money grabbers.

Would like better seek experience within a fight card. Maybe give Timestamps for each fight, and get better rewind feature , not just the 30 second rewind which is too much if just trying to show someone a replay of a knockout or hard shot...thanks

I just payed 20 dollars for 1 fight and I can’t even watch it. This app is a complete scam. I signed up to watch the KSI v. Logan Paul 2 fight and it took my money it’s said something went wrong. This is unbelievable when you pay for new app with a 4.7 star review you don’t expect this and now I find out it takes months to get your money back. This has to be joke this app needs to be taken down I hope theirs millions of people pirating this event and Logan Paul and KSI lose millions of dollars now technically it’s not their fault but still. I was a huge Logan Paul fan until now this is a huge joke. I really do hope that dazn gets taken down forever. I mean seriously now I can’t even watch the fight. If I don’t get a response from dazn, my money back, and a free month I will take this to a new level. Dazn I hope you lose all the money you have taken from people and so much more. This is a total scam.

The app is great. You can literally watch a fight in two clicks. My only feedback would be having a picture in picture mode. So when you minimise the app a video thumbnail appears allowing you to continue watching. A lot of people message each other in between rounds to discuss the fight and having the fight continuously pause to message a friend is a bit annoying.

I’ve been a DAZN subscriber from Day 1. Am a huge boxing fan, watch essentially everything that is on. In comparison to other broadcasts, DAZN is fantastic in that they will show every fight on the card. Their specials leading up to fights, etc have come a long way as well. The only item I could pick on is their broadcast team for boxing telecast. They have the heavyweight here in Brian Kenny, who has always been spectacular. However, I do feel DAZN needs to surround him w/ comparable talent. But aside from this, DAZN is top notch & you can easily tell they have dumped a ton of resources into their app, as well as their content. I would recommend this to anybody.

Needs picture in picture. I have this on IPhone as well, and it's a huge inconvenience that this is one of the few apps on my Android that doesn't offer picture in picture so you can continue working in the background while watching boxing. Inconvenient and unfair to Android users that the same features offered on IPhone are not offered here. Fix the app!

Most of the fights feature talent under promotion with Matchroom Boxing, including a fair number of up-and-comer British fighters that you might not otherwise get to see through other broadcast outlets. The cards have had good competitive fights in support of the featured bouts. Buying the full year makes the price about $8.33 per month. The DAZN Boxing Show puts episodes out frequently and is worth a watch to stay current on news that is not just limited to the fighters that appear on DAZN. Ringside announcers and color commentary are well done. Camera work and general event presentation is also high level. Four stars given because I have experienced lag and buffering during live fights and have had to restart. This is likely something that can be fixed with app upgrades.

  • Decent Match Ups Are Scarce Mar 27, 2021

    By D4bob
DAZN has plenty of excellent fighters under contract through Golden BOy or based on agreements with other promoters, but they decent fights in terms of competitativeness are few and far between. Fans will enjoy seeing some fighters fight no matter how weak the competition is, but for serious baoxing fans there are few must see fights on the network. And the best fighgters, even the ones a bit past their prime like Triple G fight less than once every nine months. of the primary North American Boxing distribution platforms, Topp Rank through ESPN probably has the most fights per year and not all require subscriptions to ESPN+ and Top Rank also has stinker undercards, but they still typically are better than DAZN’s, where you have to hope for two co-main events.

Good luck canceling your subscription. They tell you the account was cancelled on you next billing and then you get your yearly bill 12 months later on your credit card. Then cancel again and pay for another year. SCAM... Can't get a hold of anyone at DAZN. Zero customer service. So good luck getting a refund. I guess I will get with my credit card company.
  • Good content, menu needs to be more user friendly. Jan 3, 2021

    By SushiFighter
I love boxing. I love the idea of streaming all this content. This particular incident turned me away from it: On the PS4, your app automatically plays live events when you launch the app. I had planned to watch this particular event and was looking forward to it and of course since you all have it programmed to automatically play, it just so happens the fight was over and I saw the results as the app launched. I didn’t have the option of choosing whether to play that event or not. Maybe take lessons from the ESPN app. For example if I am logging in the night of a fight, it has the event and has the “live” caption on that event, however it doesn’t automatically play that event. You all need to stop that automatic play period, or at least program the option to turn that ish off. Other streaming services have auto play, however have options to turn it on or off. Pretty disappointed in this as I’ve been looking forward to this fight to launch the app and have it automatically play to see the post fight interview. I didn’t have time to get on and watch the fight on time, which is why the idea of streaming is there to watch it whenever as long as I am paying for the service. Well, I ended my subscription because of this.

I seriously don’t know what happened to the app. I have been loyal to DAZN since almost day 1, when it was made available in the USA. Up until now it worked almost perfectly with only the occasional minor hiccup. But for the last few events it has been dreadful. The live stream freezes constantly, buffers, is out of sync, among other annoying glitches. This last Bellator event it didn’t let me see anything! All I got was a dark screen with the little rotating circle indicating it was buffering. Another annoying issue that has popped up is the casting to my TV (Air-Play, mirroring or direct cable connection Lightning to HDMI). I’m casting the live stream, suddenly my TV goes blank and inexplicably the live stream starts the feed from the very beginning of the show!!! Somehow I manage to get the stream to catch up to the current fight only to see my TV go blank again and go back yet again to the beginning of the show. So it no longer works on my tablet, iPhone or casting on my TV, worthless. Bottom line: unless DAZN developers get their act together and fix this quickly, I will not be renewing my yearly subscription which renews in October.

Was subscribed to this app for approx 6 months, cancelled subscription as I wasn't using it, but was still charged the next month. Got in touch with customer service who claim that according to their records I hadn't cancelled!!! I have now cancelled for a 2nd time, and tried to unsuccessfully remove my card details from the account. Am now keeping an eye out to see if I am charged again by these thieves...I know it's not a lot of money but I wonder how many customers they have done this to!!!

The app is great don't get me wrong but it severely suffers from smoothness. Casting DAZN to the TV and it'll shut off on its own sometimes. On Smart TV's the video lags constantly. I have to sign in multiple times. There is a lot of potential with DAZN and I've been using it for several years now but I have not seen these problems fixed. Adding more to it's catalog would also help. I love MLB Network but having more baseball games would be great.
  • Terrible customer service and billing issues Jul 11, 2019

    By mmeell112233
While the app for streaming is okay, and I say okay because it’s not compatible to view easily on all TVs even when using a laptop to stream. It’s ok to get a last minute fight at a low price but the terrible thing about this service is customer service sucked! Last time I ordered the app it said that it didn’t recognize my user ID on another console I tried using to stream the fight and asked me to reorder the service, to which I did and they proceeded to charge my account twice! I attempted to reach customer service and the only way I found was via Live Chat, no telephone to speak with a rep. So after 3 failed connection attempts via live chat, I finally got my point across to a rep, who asked me to email them additional info to get my funds returned and nothing more was done. I followed up 3 more times via live chat and was assured a refund would be coming for the double charges and nothing ever was returned. I finally gave up but will never use again and tell all who ask not to use! Terrible! Wouldn’t recommend messing with this service.

Reviewing from Japan. Subscribe to watch F1. Since F1 original language is english, there SHOULD be an option to choose to what language you want to hear from. Especially the Japanese commentators can't even explain well what is happening on the race. Can't even determine which/what turn/sector, they also don't have proper knowledge of the circuits and history of them. The quality of the video of the race is excellent but makes it so irritating to watch with the poor japanese commentators.
  • Synchronicity issues with Apple??? Nov 3, 2019

    By ProtectConsumers
I specifically subscribed to this service so I could watch the last Canelo fight. I purchased through the Apple store. They charged my credit card but I never was able to access the content. Every time I signed in, it recognize me as having an account but wanted me to pay again. I contacted their customer service through a chat. I was told that they have Synchronicity problems with Apple and it would take hours or days until I could access the content. Flat out told me that I would be unable to watch the fight. This is unheard of. When you buy an app you expect to access content immediately. If they have synchronicity issues with Apple they should disclose this to potential customers. They should also disclose that if you buy through Apple you won’t be able to access content immediately. I don’t know if this is all true or just an excuse. Basically, DAZN’s agent put all the blame on Apple. DAZN sold and charged me for a service they never provided. Unlike them, Apple was professional and reimbursed me.

    By raytheruckus
This fight truly sucked and was a total waste of my hard earned money! You can tell Kovalev was totally weak from the rehydration clause and Canelo did nothing to make this fight exciting! You guys keep letting this man cherry pick his opponents and he keeps sucking you for 35 million each time! I will be canceling my subscription and it’s a shame because I really wanted to see the Joshua vs Ruiz fight but this paper champion is what’s wrong with boxing today, Canelo is just a Spanish version of Floyd Mayweather ripping off the public fighting boxers who are past their prime! I would have been better off watching the UFC! If and when, which I totally doubt Canelo decides to fight real champions like Beterbiev or Bivol maybe then I’ll renew my subscription, but if you think Canelo vs Govolkin 3 is going to help bring in subscribers you are dead wrong!! Govolkin is shot and on his way out and that was obvious from his last fight! Enjoy wasting millions of dollars on this phony boxing great but believe me when I say he is no Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez it Julio Cesar Chavez....

After HBO dropped boxing, I was scrabbling to find where I should watch. Live broadcasts seemed to be scattered. I started to figure out that Premier Boxing, Showtime, and Fox Sports (? I think that’s correct) were putting on the shows but there was too much continuity to it. I knew DAZN was kinda there so I held off. I finally ordered the Canelo vs Kovalev fight and wow! I am so impressed with the broadcast and programming. All the commentators were excellent, boxers who spoke about the keys to victory were great, and all interviewers were great. I’m keeping my subscription and will probably buy the year long subscription. Great job, DAZN! Picking up where HBO dropped the ball.

I subscribed for the Canelo/Saunders fight for just €1.99 (in Ireland) which was probably the best couple of euros I ever spent. I had no problems with chromecasting and overall the hook up was seemless. You can unsubscibe whenever you want and are not locked into a contract which is ideal. I would have no problem subscribing again for a big fight event at these prices. Thanks

Personally I had no issues at all with the streaming service. I watched a fight and had no buffering issues. Its also really simple and easy to understand. For those who had any little problems with the app, it was probably due to the huge amounts of people signing up last minute so please give the app another chance and don’t feel disappointed with it. It’s a new streaming service that is supposed to stream the biggest boxing events in the future for good prices so lets keep supporting them and appreciate them.

For lover's of the beautiful science and at such a cheap monthly amount, you can't really grumble. Not sure as of yet however, whether or not you can rewatch a main event the next day at a more appropriate time. If this is possible then the 5 star rating should certainly apply. If not... Maybe that gets it lowered to 3 or 4 stars instead 🤔
  • Great Price, Good Content, App Needs Work Dec 8, 2019

    By Naven R J
So, the title says it all. The price is GREAT. Watch 1 good fight and you have gotten what PPV would charge you, but you still have the rest of the year to watch more! Aside from the fight, I haven’t seen much else worth watching. I am still poking around though. Now to the App. Rewinding, restarting, fast forward, even pausing for more that a few minutes... it ALL needs work. Now, maybe other platforms are better. Roku is a bit of a mess. Things seem OK on my apple products, but I want to watch things on my TV and that is Roku. So, the App functionality took an easy 4 star review down to a 3. As content and functionality improve... I can see this getting a 4 or even a 5 star review down the road. All in all - worth it. I was going to cancel after the first month. Now, I am not so sure. Give me another 29 days... today I am on the fence.

    By matt2304094
You guys have my money either way so this doesn’t matter much, but as someone who works late and comes back mid-card it would really be nice to be able to start from the beginning. Even just the option after the event has started. I end up having to join live and then rewind a bunch which is fine but there are always streaming issues. I end up having to close out and start over. Whenever I watch live the stream is fine. Anyways I still think it’s money well spent but maybe look into improving the experience of joining late and trying to watch the whole card.
  • Why it’s not a 5 star app Jul 23, 2019

    By RAIDERBATMAN
The app is legit, the only reason I’m not giving it a 5 is because if you search any fighter, it comes up with not results. I’ve made that recommendation to them when they reached out, but the update didn’t change anything. The streaming is great no issues, the short videos are awesome as well. But again, if you search a certain fight between to fighters you’ll come up with no results. You literally have to look for the fight in the app which is time consuming.
  • Great value over all but.... Mar 4, 2021

    By Ryan Hodek
Overall a great value for fight fans. The originals have been great lately as well but...the organization on the app is horrible. Finding things becomes a hassle and is sometime near impossible. There is so much to watch on here if you can find it. Also not being able to save video for offline watching is a real let down.
  • Live matches can’t be watched midstream Oct 22, 2020

    By الحليبي
If a match has started live, It won’t give me the option of starting from the beginning, it’ll just start playing the live feed. I have to close my eyes, stop it, then rewind to the beginning. Sometimes stopping and starting a live match somehow skips to the live feed and just destroys the whole match. Querks that need to be fixed
  • Pixelated Quality May 5, 2019

    By Honesttone
Most of the boxing match I was watching was pretty good quality although there were some parts in the fight were the quality went low and lagged in a pixelated way but eventually came back to normal within 30 seconds, if they fix the pixelation then this app is amazing and so is the price, I will certainly use it more in the future.

This app took about 15 minutes and there no technical support options. Also I’m the quality of HD goes in and out while watching needs a lot of work.

Would like better seek experience within a fight card. Maybe give Timestamps for each fight, and get better rewind feature , not just the 30 second rewind which is too much if just trying to show someone a replay of a knockout or hard shot...thanks

I follow the french open, I follow tennis, the french open is live. The live stream is featured neither on the Tennis page nor ob the French Open page, it can only be found by looking through all the different Eurosport streams. Makes the experience just barely better than tv. Edit: Also just found out they don't have volleyball, disappointing.

I don't like the advertising while the boxers take a small break after each round. The picture quality sometimes seems fuzzy. The navigation around the app isn't appealing. It should be more organized and properly categorized. Needs a lot of work, can be a very nice app though if these issues are fixed.
  • Lots of potential. Not where it should be...yet Dec 30, 2018

    By Pursuing Wisdom
The possibilities of an app like this are endless. You’ll get all Canelo Alvarez’s fights for the foreseeable future which makes it worth the price of admission and you’ll enjoy a lot of archival footage of his and other folks great fights, but there should be weekly smaller fights available on the weekends. A lot of boxing’s problems has to do with access to the smaller fights so that fans are educated so that’s where this app can thrive. The production of their shows is lacking as well. That show with the two guys is straight awful. Hopefully they figure that part out. The best is what I hope it becomes. The worst is what it seems to be now.
  • Ok on Apple, not so much elsewhere Jun 7, 2021

I like the content provided and have found the app on Apple devices to work relatively well. However, I find that outside of the Apple environment DAZN many times does not work, or has less than desirable performance. On a Vizio tv the app will run smoothly for about 10 seconds and then only refreshes the video about every two seconds which makes it feel like watching a slide show. Audio works fine, but video does not. On a Roku I have not been able to get DAZN working. On the Apple device itself the video works well; however when trying to stream to a tv the video quality is pretty degraded.
  • Good Value but Lacks Prime Fights Feb 22, 2020

I bought a month to month subscription ($40/mo) before the Anthony VS Ruiz fight and really enjoyed the features of the app. Unfortunately I’m not the biggest Bellator fan, nor do I have time to watch YouTubers boxing. I kept my subscription in hopes of me being able to see big fights in the future as it would pay for itself in the long run. But I quickly learned that DAZN doesn’t have the rights to stream the big matches. So unless you’re ok with streaming 1 maybe 2 big boxing matches per year, with YouTubers sprinkled in between, the membership isn’t worth more than $12/mo.
  • good live events but needs a better search feature Aug 6, 2019

    By Lost troops
The access to live boxing is good but the archives are a pain to search through. You should just be able to type in a fighters name to find an event they competed in but often times you have to find the competition page and then the event and then an individual fight. Combat sports are not like nfl, nba or nhl where you can look up the league, team and player easily. Alot of times its hard to remember what the exact competition a fighter competed in was and it would be much easier to search specific fighters.
  • Good content, menu needs to be more user friendly. Jan 3, 2021

Premier league is live, yes; Champions League yes, Italian league and some other lower leagues yes, Spanish La Liga NO NO NO NO NO, but they will make you believe they bring all the leagues for your subscription, and that is false. If you are not interested in all the leagues, then yes go for it, but for me, I'm about to deactivate and delete it forever.
  • Hard to watch Dec 6, 2019

    By DavidChadfish
The ability to stream, especially when a live event is in process I have to go to the event see what’s currently happening before I can rewind which typically always ruins a boxing event due to the fact that you get too much information by looking at the current fight then rewinding to the beginning is almost pointless because there’s no more suspense, do you think of modern day up-to-date streaming service would have better ability to just start the event at the beginning even though it’s in process, as a lifelong boxing fan I see this as sad
  • Annual Subscription Dec 8, 2020

    By SoCal Artie
I purchased the $100 annual subscription and i didn’t get what was promised. 6 months of my subscription they had no fights due to COVID-19 which is understandable, however, DAZN customer services should’ve extend everyone’s subscriptions for the months that were inactive but instead they make u pay an additional $100 on ur annual date. Even my Knots Berry Farm annual pass was extend for the months that the state was shut down. In addition some of DAZN fighters were on PPV! They double dip u for fights that should be for free with ur subscription!!!
  • Lags you out Jan 11, 2021

I have had this app for over a year with the annual subscription. Only reason i got it is for the boxing fights. This app gives you the opportunity to see some boxing fights from many fighters that have happened years back/ which is amazing..but theres a flaw. As soon as you begin watching the fight give DAZN no more than 5min it WILL LAG you OFF. Due to “internet” or thats what DAZN claims. But it’s Okay. You can get back to watching your favorite fight from the past just remember how far you were into fight. Just fast forward to were you left off because obviously DAZN has no idea were you left off. You must continue to repeat every 5min when you log off to finish the fight. For whoever is wondering I have Comcast internet 500 mbps. On an apple 4k tv. All other apps run perfect with no issues except DAZN.

Just signed up to watch Canelo vs Jacobs, before the main event card there were big banners almost in the middle of the screen advertising the main event fight why? If you feel you need to announce have it pop up and then disappear. Most importantly the app would constantly freeze during the entire program including main fight. It froze a 6 times during the main fight. I have excellent WiFi speed so it wasn’t my internet. Hopefully you get this taken care of.

I tried using the app with canelo vs Jacobs fight on a Roku and it worked but then dropped the signal. Not a buffering but a loss. Then tried it in a newer Roku box that did the same. Then tried on and AppleTV that failed. I’m a cord cutter so I stream most of my movies, sports and programs. My only guess would be the demand. If a company clearly smaller than Apple (who’s servers crash during new product launches) wants to compete for high demand sporting events they should offer multiple streaming options to compensate for the demand.
  • Great content horrible app layout May 5, 2019

    By 9252019
The app offers great content primarily for boxing and mma. It also includes some soccer from japan league and cricket. This app has a very clunky layout making it’s difficult to find content it requires clicking multiple links before you find what you’re looking for. The biggest issue occurred tonight trying to watch the Canelo vs Jacobson match. The app played content an hour behind the live event and took several resets of the app to finally play correctly.
  • Pretty good until the Main Event Feb 17, 2019

    By Yeah4it
I streamed the entire Bellator 216 with very few buffering issues until the main event, then all buffering hell broke loose. Audio cutting out, resolution dropped to a point that it was unwatchable. I closed the app and restarted several times, missed large chunks of the fight. I have a very solid network with plenty of bandwidth /speed (450 mgbs ) so that’s not the issue. DAZN cannot handle that much traffic. It has potential, but I’m not keeping my subscription.

  • Canelo vs. Kovalev Nov 3, 2019

App crashes,Freezing and overall stability problems it Seems like the two companies Apple & DAZN failed to come together to make sure the apps performance was up to par to handle the massive amount of users tuning in to watch one of the biggest Boxing match in history which I was unable to watch most of and parts that I was able to watch seemed to be in the resolution of two giant pixels stuttering around a screen and after reset and internet testing rinse and repeat to the point where I wanted to Box someone my darn self because of rage I’ve been looking forward to the KSI vs Logan Paul fight for over a year and I missed that enjoyable experience other than about maybe 30 seconds of round 6 which I had to watch via FaceTime on iPad from a good friend of mine who’s DAZN app was almost 4K quality compared to the Nintendo 64 graphics I was trying to desperately watch with boiling anger PLEASE FIX AND PREPARE FOR FUTURE EVENTS OF THAT MAGNITUDE TO HANDLE DEMAND OR GIVE ALTERNATIVE!!! Thank You

This app does not work with a Google Chromecast device. It will connect and disconnect literally dozens of times during a match. When it disconnects, you have to open the app on your device, manually tell it to stop casting, then close and reopen the app, then cast it again. This happens virtually every time I use the app. The TSN, Sportsnet, Netflix, Crave, and Amazon Prime Video apps don't give me this problem. I have written to DAZN about this more than once but it seems they don't care.
