Highlights from the last 4 weeks include a company-wide hack week where we focused on getting our monthly subscription in front of more people.
We’re testing the ideas this week with small groups of customers - so keep your eyes peeled for a few of them. You might be in the lucky few who get to try them out.

As we mark the one year anniversary of lockdown V1.0, we’ve been reflecting on the past year and what we’ve achieved as a company.


We’re proud of how we pulled together to get through the most ‘unprecedented’ times. We’ve managed to launch a whole new subscription product, grow the team by over 30% and roll out our new radically better branding. All whilst prioritising the wellbeing of the team.


Against all odds it’s been a great year - and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks to every customer who supported us.


But having just signed for a swanky new office, we’re now firmly looking to the future. We’re so close to reuniting with our free office breakfasts we can almost taste the salmon and cream cheese bagels.


And with the future in mind, we’ve been polishing up our Smart Pricing waitlist. Smart Pricing is launching really soon for our subscription users. If you haven’t checked it out already and want to know how you could save up to 30% on your subscription, head to the Insights tab in the app.

We’ve given the app a good ol’ spring clean this week. Dusting down shelves and clearing out pesky bugs! Everyone loves a discount so we’ve created a brand new screen that shows exactly when you can use your refer-a-friend bonus. If there’s an issue with your link just slide into our DMs for help.

Spring has (kind of) sprung, and so has another app update. This time we’ve been making it easier to see an example price if you don’t have a reg number to hand. Car insurance, no car necessary.

And while we were fixing some pesky bugs, we turned our thoughts to the other kind of bugs. The ones that fly around between flowers and make this time of year a bit more colourful – we like those bugs. They’re doing a good job.

With Valentines day around the corner we’ve been thinking about pairings.
Some things just don’t match. Weetabix and baked beans (head to Twitter if you don’t know what we mean). Apps and bugs.
But some things do match. Flexible car insurance and customers who demand better. Our iOS app and weekly releases like this one - to keep things running smoothly.

We tried to pick something fun from this week’s release to share with you, but it was all a bit too technical. So here’s a fun fact instead: we’ve just sold 3 million policies. It’s been quite the ride - thanks for coming with us.
