I played these games about a year ago and decided to replay them again recently. These games are so immersive and definitely get my adrenaline pumping. The puzzles are challenging, but there are plenty of online walkthroughs if you get stuck. The hint system is decent, but not always helpful. However, this doesn’t detract from the rating because this game is beyond five stars, even with the mediocre hints. I honestly love these games and the whole series is remarkably well thought-out. The fact that these games are free to play is mind-boggling. The ads are kept at a minimum, only used to get hints, which helps maintain the overall atmosphere of the game. If you are looking for an indie puzzler to blow some extra time, this is a fantastic idea! The storyline is intriguing and the different chapters help pull everything together. I honestly have no limit to my praise of this series. Keep up the good work!

I'm a huge Rusty Lake fan. I found this escape a lot more challenging than the others. I'm still trying to figure out how a book lights a match stick.🤔🥴 I wouldn't recommend starting with this one if you're new to their escape puzzles. Maybe try Samsara or Paradox to start with which are more consistently intuitive.

What a treat this fourth game was! Interesting location, escaping a box instead of a room. I really liked the puzzles- they were particularly logical, with the same bizarre twists as the first three games. Got through it pretty quickly, and apparently managed to solve one of the puzzles kind of by accident, but after finishing the game I checked the walkthrough to make sure I hadn’t missed anything and saw how I did it. At this point I’m pretty pumped about the Rusty Lake series, as I actually look forward to each new chapter. Reminds me a little of playing the Omnisoft series, although these have a more engrossing storied theme with some interestingly creepy animation and more varied environments. Gotta say I’m hooked, and getting ready to download the next one. Good job, Rusty Lake!

It was shorter and harder then the others. Like really short. I liked it but wasn't expecting it tobe thisshort. The other ones i have played took me hours but this one finished in 30 minutes. There were only 4 puzzles. Hard but yeah, short.

Rusty Lake games, the Cube series is extremely addicting for its surreal and short plots, which builds from one game to the next. They put very good thriller & horror content that makes me play the next one immediately. I love this series. Their puzzles are pretty hard and sometimes takes a little more work but it’s one of those few games where solving a hard puzzle is very satisfying. I can’t wait for the next one! Thanks Rusty Lake games!

For this box, you have to know some basic rules for usual games in real life(and I did google it instead of seeking walkthrough), and you also have to connect things from different sides of the box, which means a good memory is vital. Some of the settings are odd but also make sense, so you have to try and try and try again. In result, you will be moved by your own persistence.

I like the whole series. You only get ads if you need hints, and they don't force you to stay on the ads, either. Worth A try.

Short but fun game. Rusty lake games force you to use your brain differently. Spoilers ahead: What makes absolutely no sense whatsoever is to tie a rope into a safety pin attached to a cardboard box! I had to look that one part in a walkthrough. Could hardly see those damn holes. Also, as a person with ADHD the domino puzzle drove me completely insane..

Confusion about the insects and direction...still a good game, but I did have to use the walkthrough for the aforementioned.

Nice short game! It's about as long as Cube escape:The Lake, maybe a bit easier or it's just that I play them in release order and I am more familiar with the series' riddles :P.

I didn't enjoy this one compared to the others. There wasn't much story and the puzzles seemed less logical and try random things instead. And the logical ones were a bit tedious to solve. The setting is also a bit boring (a cardboard box h that's it) Ending was nicely creepy though and I admire the bravery of the idea even if for me it didn't quite work

I LOVE RL games. So much so that I have purchased them all, forced my family to play them. Just love them! The only exemption was this game.... I can't put my finger on it, but it's the only one I've had to cheat on (a lot) and been unable to work out why that's the answer. Also, I'm not musical, so the comb and pigeon thing took me WAY longer than it should have. I have now completed every single RL game now and can confidently say, they are well worth your time. Don't play this one 1st

It's a weaker entry in the series. The premise is nice, but you never feel all that accomplished after finishing the game, with too many underwhelming puzzles.
