What a treat this fourth game was! Interesting location, escaping a box instead of a room. I really liked the puzzles- they were particularly logical, with the same bizarre twists as the first three games. Got through it pretty quickly, and apparently managed to solve one of the puzzles kind of by accident, but after finishing the game I checked the walkthrough to make sure I hadn’t missed anything and saw how I did it. At this point I’m pretty pumped about the Rusty Lake series, as I actually look forward to each new chapter. Reminds me a little of playing the Omnisoft series, although these have a more engrossing storied theme with some interestingly creepy animation and more varied environments. Gotta say I’m hooked, and getting ready to download the next one. Good job, Rusty Lake!

I really like this game and I'd like to learn more about the lore I mean these games are like really interesting and if you like puzzles with lore I'd suggest this game to you though in some of the other games I think you're supposed to combined items and I'm not sure how to they don't make it clear

Rusty Lake games, the Cube series is extremely addicting for its surreal and short plots, which builds from one game to the next. They put very good thriller & horror content that makes me play the next one immediately. I love this series. Their puzzles are pretty hard and sometimes takes a little more work but it’s one of those few games where solving a hard puzzle is very satisfying. I can’t wait for the next one! Thanks Rusty Lake games!

updoot: thank you for the fix! plays beautifully, though the domino one was impossible without walkthrough as the outline of the places the dominos are supposed to go is invisible, at least on high graphics. beautifully spooky game, as always.

For this box, you have to know some basic rules for usual games in real life(and I did google it instead of seeking walkthrough), and you also have to connect things from different sides of the box, which means a good memory is vital. Some of the settings are odd but also make sense, so you have to try and try and try again. In result, you will be moved by your own persistence.

So I put the cigar in the fish's mouth, arranged the fish and Mr Crow according to the paper, but couldn't light the cigar using the match. I was stuck so I checked the walk through and realised my match did not come lit. So I cannot progress. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe not. Love many of the other Rusty Lake games <3 But yeah, stuck.

Every game I have to abandon as the background is black so I can't solve them without looking up what I'm missing and that defeats the object. Shame as I loved these types of games. Why is the background black on mine?

These games are fine to pass the time. However, they are not a truly good puzzler. Too much of it is built around cheap scares as you approach the end. Also, the game doesn’t really give you everything you need to solve the puzzles. If you can do it without the walkthrough it’s because of sheer luck.

Although it's sadly short, I am happy to receive a Harvey themed episode.

I love these games and have completed a couple of them but I too am experiencing the black background on this one which makes it impossible to complete, I'm sure I'm missing something with the music notes as I can't see anything, i have looked at the walkthrough but it's no help with this section. Hoping there's a fix soon as this isn't the only one I've encountered the black background on. If it wasn't for the darkness this would definitely be 5 stars

Played this game immediately after Rusty Lake's newest game, Samsara Room. Well... let's just say they've come a long way since Harvey's Box. The puzzles in this range from unintuitive to plain arcane, with no logical or discernible structure from one puzzle to the next. Looking back on Samsara Room, I'm able to remember the "narrative" of the sequence of puzzles, but with Harvey's Box it's a mishmash of random things I did which made little sense in hindsight. Considering Harvey's Box is real old, I'll say keep it up, Rusty Lake. Keep on improving.
