What a treat this fourth game was! Interesting location, escaping a box instead of a room. I really liked the puzzles- they were particularly logical, with the same bizarre twists as the first three games. Got through it pretty quickly, and apparently managed to solve one of the puzzles kind of by accident, but after finishing the game I checked the walkthrough to make sure I hadn’t missed anything and saw how I did it. At this point I’m pretty pumped about the Rusty Lake series, as I actually look forward to each new chapter. Reminds me a little of playing the Omnisoft series, although these have a more engrossing storied theme with some interestingly creepy animation and more varied environments. Gotta say I’m hooked, and getting ready to download the next one. Good job, Rusty Lake!

Played this game immediately after Rusty Lake's newest game, Samsara Room. Well... let's just say they've come a long way since Harvey's Box. The puzzles in this range from unintuitive to plain arcane, with no logical or discernible structure from one puzzle to the next. Looking back on Samsara Room, I'm able to remember the "narrative" of the sequence of puzzles, but with Harvey's Box it's a mishmash of random things I did which made little sense in hindsight. Considering Harvey's Box is real old, I'll say keep it up, Rusty Lake. Keep on improving.

Rusty Lake games, the Cube series is extremely addicting for its surreal and short plots, which builds from one game to the next. They put very good thriller & horror content that makes me play the next one immediately. I love this series. Their puzzles are pretty hard and sometimes takes a little more work but it’s one of those few games where solving a hard puzzle is very satisfying. I can’t wait for the next one! Thanks Rusty Lake games!

It's a really good game, got me sucked into it, but I realised I had a black screen glitch(?) so I couldn't really play it properly. If this got fixed that would be awesome and I would definitely rate 5 stars.

For this box, you have to know some basic rules for usual games in real life(and I did google it instead of seeking walkthrough), and you also have to connect things from different sides of the box, which means a good memory is vital. Some of the settings are odd but also make sense, so you have to try and try and try again. In result, you will be moved by your own persistence.

  • Fine for a free game, wouldn’t pay for it Feb 4, 2018

These games are fine to pass the time. However, they are not a truly good puzzler. Too much of it is built around cheap scares as you approach the end. Also, the game doesn’t really give you everything you need to solve the puzzles. If you can do it without the walkthrough it’s because of sheer luck.

This game was is as good as the others in the series and I will agree that this game is one of the best one in the Cube Escape Series. Now other reviews were stating a black background bug but I have not encountered it neither in this one nor the previous ones.

I’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. They’re worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. I can’t wait for more chapters to be released!

Good game, I enjoyed playing it but for some reason I couldn't get the glass to fill? I'm not sure if I'm just missing an extra step I need to do but I've looked around and it doesn't seem so

I love Rusty Lake games, but I have to admit I didn't enjoy this one as much as some of the others. I think it's that there was little to no suspense or mystery. The puzzles were great, I really enjoyed the musical puzzles (very clever considering Harvey is a bird).

I really like all rusty lack games but idk what is wrong with this one, the background is black and there are hints there that (because its black) I can't see, I can hardly finish it using walkthrough but there is no fun in that so I stopped midway

I love these games and have completed a couple of them but I too am experiencing the black background on this one which makes it impossible to complete, I'm sure I'm missing something with the music notes as I can't see anything, i have looked at the walkthrough but it's no help with this section. Hoping there's a fix soon as this isn't the only one I've encountered the black background on. If it wasn't for the darkness this would definitely be 5 stars

I still say Rusty Lake is my fave Android game. However, the box got me frustrated, took me days trying to figure out what to do with domino before I gave up and checked the walkthrough - just to find out there shouldn't be a black background in the whole box. Oh my. So it wasn't me after all. Kinda ruined the magic.
