    The app has some fairly decent upgrades but may need a little work. For example: when clicking on your credit card account, the display shows 1 amount and doesn't say whether it is the available balance or the balance owed. Next, read the small print very carefully before using the "link external accounts" option. Its not worth it in my opinion. Read it CAREFULLY. Do not just click agree because if you find yourself in a pickle later, you would have given up everything.

    The new app seems to be okay, but there are a few issues. First: mobile deposit does not work at all as some people have complained about already. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Thankfully there is a branch close to my house, and I was able to deposit a check through the ATM. Second: I wish there was a way to transfer money between members on the app and not only between accounts. And third: there are features on the app that still require the user to use the desktop for. Hopefully there are more updates to follow as this is a brand new design and layout.

    The ads for their credit card make the app harder to use, it needs to be simple without distractions or at least switch the ads to the bottom. The 'make a payment' button on the credit card page takes you to transfers between other accounts rather than your credit card. So you still can't pay your credit card on the app. When I tried it a different way, it takes me to the website to pay the credit card.

    CUSOCAL upgraded their online banking. WOW! Fantastic upgrade, user friendly, I can see everything at a glance, with a quick log on and my entire account ready for transactions. It makes my busy day easier with a couple of taps and I’m done. Thank you CU SO CAL!!!

    This version of the mobile app is much better than the previous one. It has everything you need without the need of login in a computer. I I love the fact that you can see you balances from other banks. The only issue I've found is that when I deposited a check using the app, it would process but the money wouldn't post into my account until I called by phone. Other than that, the app is amazing!

    Terrible. The new design is confusing. There is not safe guard when you log in. Only a user and password is required, no picture or security question. Trying to transfer money to another member is even MORE difficult even if you are the other member. The help section offers little explanation to what a "share ID" is. Trying to pay a bill when needing to transfer money, without visiting a branch during the pandemic is unacceptable. I've never experienced such a huge decline in customer service.

    This was the second time in 3 days I’ve tried to use the website and then the app to do some transactions. Neither of them allowed me to do what I wanted to do, the app was worse because it let me go thru the steps of making a mobile deposit and then at the very end a message tells me that “the service is unavailable at this time”, or something like that. Extremely frustrating, is it too much to ask that these things work as they are supposed to? If it happens a third time then it’s goodbye Credit Union of Southern California!

    I agree with the majority of reviews I read whereas this system was supposed to be new and improved but it is not. Upgrades should enhance the ability and performance but there are too many problems with accessibility and navigation. A user group should have been established to give feedback before implementation. Also, a warning that if you don't agree to terms and conditions you would not be able to access your account. Poor communication and customer service!

    Literally between their ATM machines & mobile banking app, I’m ready to switch my accounts somewhere else. Their ATM’s never take my cash, maybe 30% of it. So I deposit it into my BofA business account & write a check to put in my CU acct (shouldn’t need to do this). Then when I go to deposit the check on the app still doesn’t work there either! We’re in 2020, not 1980... they need to get it together. And I shouldn’t “NEED” to go inside to see a teller or make multiple trips up there.

    PLEASE Change the app back to the way it was before!! This new version is Terrible! This app was definitely NOT designed with member use in mind. It is way too messy, had unnecessary details and I can't quickly find the information I need to see. Please change it back. I had to select 1 star in order to be able to post my review, but I honestly give this app 0 (Zero) stars.

    It’s glitching out when I transfer from savings to checking and the numbers are switching back and forth like crazy! Not consistent! The old one worked fine! Whoever made this new one should be fired

    I am not very tech savvy but I had no problem updating to the new app. I followed the instructions and quickly had access to my account. I also like the fact that I now have access to my credit card info without having to go to the website as well as the ability to link other bank accounts.

    Password reset asks for date of birth. But there is no way to manually enter it. I would have to scroll through hundreds of pages to get the calendar to my birth year. It is also a security risk to ask for full SSN, DOB and Acct number.

    The financial wellness tracker is disappointing. It would be more useful if I could manually categorize transactions. By default it miscategorizes a lot of major transactions. Overall an improvement from the previous UI.

    Well let's see I was on phone trying to figure out how I can deposit checks through mobile app because after upgrade I was not getting the option to deposit checks? After hours and hours I was told it was because my phone was too old, so I would have to upgrade to enable the mobile check deposit. THANK GOD I DIDN'T RUSH OUT AND BUY NEW $1500 DOLLAR PHONE. BECAUSE TODAY...I REMOVED OLD APP FROM PHONE, REINSTALLED THE APP....AND WALLA!!! THERE IT WAS IN THE PULL DOWN MENU..

    UI design seems to have regressed after updates; this new one is less intuitive and less aesthetically friendly. I've noticed one function issue so far in transferring between accounts. I'll give this a new bug benefit of the doubt then try it again. Eh.
