    The app is very slow to start up. The home page does not fit onto my 20" tabled - pictures and text go beyond the screen parameters. App needs user settings to personalize how and what content is displayed. Every news Pic needs a lot more txt on the home page. More detailed weather forecast at the top would be awesome (with location choices). A TSX ticker under the weather with shortcut to detailed finance section would be an asset. Reporting is often well done. I can do without dramatization...

    My in-laws outside of Montreal and when we go up see the family, they always have CTV on. I am amazed on how CTV shows a different type of news vs the US. I have downloaded the apt to my cell phone and my IPad so I can watch it in Syracuse,NY. They are shocked when I tell them about things we see here the CTV reports a wider number of news than the Major channels in the states.

    App is good but to make it work, I have to clear the cache each 2 times that it is opened or else it will just sit with a white loading screen forever. Reinstalling the app has not resolved this issue.

    A country that can’t draw a line and hold it will soon lose sight of that line. Don’t politicians know despite who may vote for them again that they have a duty to do what is right now for those that voted for them last. Shame!

    Can not find what I wish to read - totally confusing to your elderly reader. No directions given to “ sort “ this app or find relevant sections. Disappointed once more! Many months later still can not find tech or health news. When video is done have to close out app and reopen to view next item! FRUSTRATING! Over a year later — still searching for tech and health sections!

    Another great example of what happens when user experience and user-centric design takes the back seat (or gets stuffed in the trunk)... not understanding how your users actually navigate and engage with your app = loss of trust and loss of users. In the old version the navigation was relatively straightforward... you could add or remove (and reorder) news categories... the interface was consistent... there was a non-standard (but still usable) option to share articles (no idea why the standardized iOS sharing interface wasn’t adopted)... and all that has been thrown away in this new version. Top news is now almost entirety dominated by videos (which I assume is to try to increase ad revenue)... the previous categories are now under ‘News’ and require scrolling up... and down... and up... and down... no option to sort or reorder them... while the ‘Local’ news is now its own section and you scroll left and right to move between locales...?! Did you app designers and developers work in two separate silos?! Bottom line... great example of an app that was decent and user friendly falling victim to corporate greed and the pursuit of revenue at the expense of users... lemme tell you what is more expensive... NO USERS!! ...nicely done Bell Media!

    I always watched the app when I woke up then this morning I opened the app and got a black screen with a very small square in the middle of my screen and that was it! I tried everything to get out of that screen no buttons would work I couldn't restart the app or even the phone, finally Google said remove battery but that was impossible so my phone is toast! No data would transfer all my pics gone all my data gone so no I won't use the app it's not good for Samsung Galaxy. Use at your own risk!

    app needs work. notifications come so late after a news story breaks on the app that i have usually already read it. the video that automatically goes to panaramic view and makes me keep turning phone is irrigating. videos that are awaiting live stream give you no idea when they are actually live so you keep going in and out of the video. overall poor optimization in the app.

    I never write reviews, however after using this app religiously for years, I am compelled to leave a review out of utter frustration at trying to navigate their new layout. I like to think I am tech savvy, and again I have used this app for years, so understand the general layout. That said the new layout is sooooooo frustrating to navigate. I have no idea what category the story is from - local vs entertainments vs national. I don’t know whether I am opening a video or article. Please update and have your users in mind, better yet revert back to one of your older layouts. This is terrible!!!!

    As a Canadian ex pat I receive the Ottawa Citizen from my home town daily, however Sunday has been the one day a week I miss happenings on a local and country wide scale. This app has filled that void both informatively and visually. Very much appreciated 😀

    I would rate it 5 stars if it happened Iphone X support. As someone who lives abroad it's great to get notifications from CTV for news of back home but it would be even better if the app supported the Iphone X's screen

    National and international news okay, picked Atlantic for local, but NL doesn't appear to exist. They report on NB PEI and NS covid everyday, not NL. Lots of other stories about NS NB and PEI but no NL

    Notifications for stories I have already read. Notifications for categories I have not selected for my news feed. No way to report typos on app. App needs work.

    Too many commercials and are so loud I leave the page and go elsewhere. Ads are also too long and can't be easily muted without having to unmute at the end.

    Notification links open to loading screen and stall - occasionally freezes and crashes. When opening headline stories, app occasionally crashes. I want this app to work so I can see Canadian news.

    Do you really think those of us who still want to know truth and therefore use our brains to analyze news stories don’t recognize the fact that you only state negative “bits” about the U.S. President. Come on at least try to look objective and print some of the positive news about him. Or at least print the two sides of a story.

    Most often when I attempt to open the app it tells me "no internet connection detected" when everything else including other news apps work fine. Almost useless.
