App works fine, just a couple of things missing. 1) Copy/paste previous expiration date and lot number. Usually a box comes with 2 pens, so makes it easier to log rather than type everything again. 2) keep expiration date and lot number in the backups. Annoying to lose all that information when re-installing the app, or restoring the phone and switching to a new phone.

I really enjoy using the app to keep me organized , aware and informative about the medication. The app has taught and re-enforced my learning of the self-administration / injection of my medication. When I begin to wonder about side effects I have resources such as information about the medication and a Nurse Ambassador. Being able to utilize resources that I can contact and connect to verbally and online to answer questions and concerns about the medication or other personal issues I may have experienced is awesome. I like the ability to set reminders to take my medication especially during what can sometimes be a busy day for me. I enjoy being able to request for supplies needed such examples as sharps container and travel kit. I can write about the app all day but to sum things up overall this is a wonderful app, I feel like everyone cares about my wellbeing and it’s user friendly to me because I’m not as familiar with computer technology. I’m thankful that I have access to utilize the app and resources. Thanks and blessings for individuals that contribute to making patient/clients to feel less stressed about a health concern.

It has always done what it should... But barely. All versions: * Does a good job of nagging you. * Injection wizard is full and flexible. * Does terrible job summarizing last shot locations...i actually had to sit here with a piece of paper and redraw my last 4 injection locations because it is 3 clicks between each record. December 2017 release: * Much prettier * Lost all my lot number/expiration date info put into previous version(s). * The new calendar view for injections is much better than the previous list, but now it is even harder to see previous shot locations. You either need to let people swipe left and right between shot locations once they are in that view, or you need to have a single page that overlays X shots on the same abdomen/legs image with shots color coded in chronological order. This app should be way better than this. They are obviously not collecting user stories about the way this thing is actually utilized by people and streamlining those workflows. The most recent release was probably a zero net gain.

The idea of this app is great but the design, leaves a lot to be desired. First and foremost, when an Injection has been completed, there should be a easy way to log it. How about a button showing up on the main screen, after the scheduled time has passed. There is no reason, one should have to look through menus, in order to create a log. Secondly, you should have the option to edit and delete a log. We are only human and people make mistakes and so does this app. I’ve only been using it for two days and I’m already starting to hate it. I had a scheduled Injection today, but after logging it, somehow the app has added a missed Injection for two days ago. There is no way to delete it, so now I’m stuck with it forever, not good. I mean, who makes an app, with now way to edit or make changes to logs or mistakes. Not sure I will be using the app very long and probably will delete it, if these things aren’t fixed. Furthermore, as the app is now, there is no way I would recommend it. It’s a shame too, because I had so much hope for this app. Please fix

  • Very buggy and not user friendly Dec 8, 2019

It doesn’t allow you to enter future dates for some of the fields which makes no sense when entering a future shot. It also doesn’t allow you to put in past dates for certain fields like starter doses which again doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t allow you to track an injection unless you pick a location but also gives you limited injection locations to choose from. You can’t always see or scroll to the save button. It only lists 3 symptoms in the symptom tracker. Overall this app seems like more of a hassle than it is helpful right now. As a software tester, I’m amazed that this app has so many bugs.

I have depended on this app to help me log injections and symptoms. I have invested years of very important data solely into this very helpful application. Not only have I not been able to access it for three weeks now, I haven’t been able to log my last three injections or symptoms. I submitted a customer service request through the App Store last week and received no response. I am hoping that by leaving this review, I will have a better chance of getting help. My iPhone is completely updated, I rebooted my phone, and even deleted and reloaded the app. The start screen momentarily appears, then it disappears. Abbvie has been so helpful in the past; let’s keep the record strong.

The app only allows for selecting weekly and biweekly injections. My doctor has prescribed an every 21 days injection for me. The inflexibility of the app in this regard makes it useless for me. It would be helpful also if you could log photos of the injection site in case you have a reaction or want to better log how close your injection sites are from one time to the next. It would also help if there was a notes section to add notes after the injection and not just a symptoms entry. This would help better track how your injections go. The reminders and video are helpful. With some major tweaks, this could be a useful app.

  • Nicely designed app Jan 20, 2020

    By Kilnner
For it’s purpose, this is a good app. It’s very specifically designed for one purpose - tracking humira injections. The app is easy to use and has all the needed features. I was nicely surprised the first time I used it by how well designed the user interface was and how helpful the features were. I use it every time I inject and to track disease symptoms or injection side effects. A feature I wish it had was adding side effects for injections to a drop down list like they have for tracking disease symptoms. Right now I have to manually write in things like “injection site swelling” in a symptom note.

  • Great App, But . . . Sep 5, 2018

    By RoyRoy46
I really like this app; I have been using It for a few months but I feel like a few changes should be made. The app should be more personalized: 1. We should be able to take a picture of ourselves in a stance so that the patient would be able to see exactly where they can and cannot inject instead of looking at a model. With that, the injection site would be more accurately logged. 2. There should be a option where we could put our prescription information. Whenever I am done using the injections I throw away the box and my refill Information and number is on the box so It would be easier if the Information was in the app so I can use that as a quick reference when calling in refills. Those two updates would make a huge difference in the way the app works . There are already a lot of great things about the app such as, the reminders, the steps when injecting, timers, symptom notes, etc.

  • Overall good experience, but unable to set up direct deposits for rebates Apr 1, 2020

    By Cheddarex
I use this app to help me keep track of my Humira injection schedule and for its Complete Prescription Rebate program. I managed to set up direct deposits for Complete Prescription Rebate on the Humira Complete website on my PC and received direct deposits that way, but, even though I use the same sign in on my mobile phone, it does not have that rebate history logged in this app (only the history of the rebates I’ve applied for in-app shows), nor does it have my preference to receive direct deposits saved. I certainly prefer electronic transfers over receiving physical checks, so it would be nice to have this issue resolved.

  • Decent App/ would like to register as a parent. Dec 16, 2017

    By bfbirk
I downloaded this app when my son started on humira. It required you to be >18 to register. Fine, but an option to check that I am a parent of a child on humira would be nice. I am now on their mailing list as and getting similar info mailers that my son has already received. (My wife registered him with a nurse ambassador which works well too.) The interface is a little clunky and I found it confusing two weeks later to find some of the shot tracking screens. But I am getting used to it.

I have to stop my use of Humara it’s tearing my immune system up. I get something called bacterial vaginitis which causes me to take anti biotic. While on Humara cause Thrush in my mouth. I’ve been fighting my system with antibiotics, that causes me to get Thrush. Then in turn takes over a month to get rid of. My insurance gave me a hard time to fill Magic Mouth wash. Also I’m on my third dose of Nystatin, I’m allergic to Diflucan so I had to take a steroid. I’m stopping my doses of Humara until further notice

  • Geared towards men’s symptoms Sep 22, 2018

    By starboard9999
Women with AS are more likely than men to have peripheral joint involvement, whereas men predominantly have axial pain. The symptom tracker has no capabilities to record this data. I need to track how Humira is helping ibs, iritis (eye), jaw, foot, etc. pain, not just pain in the spine. It is annoying to see these areas ignored when there is an easy fix to allow marking symptoms on the whole body.

  • Great idea but poorly designed Apr 27, 2018

    By mckohtz
First off you have to be over 18yo to use this app, which when I first logged in with my email automatically added my 14yo daughter’s name and date of birth. Fine I put my date of birth in, but there should be an option for adding a parent or care giver’s info. Then when I went to log that we had given her four shots for a starter dose it said we couldn’t log any more than one shot every two weeks! It should be giving us an option for a starter dose. What a poor design.

  • FIX IT! Dec 20, 2017

    By Oulilred
This app hasn't worked well since I first downloaded it 3 months ago. It will not save the data entered for injection lot number and expiration date. The calendar saves dates that I didn't choose and logs it as a missed dose. When trying to log symptoms, I have to tap the screen numerous times to even get it to register. I have given up on that part. The app update today has completely failed and I can't log on at all. It tells me I have no network connection so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone and it still does not work. This has been a nightmare since day one. I would think that a billion dollar company would at least have a functioning app.

I would give this app zero stars if it was an option. First, people who need this medicine are very sick. We have to wait oftentimes years for our conditions to worsen before insurance will cover this medicine. Then we have to get it filled through a cumbersome, out-of-state specialty pharmacy and report everything to them. Then we have a Humira nurse who wants us to report everything to her and use the Humira app. Then we have to report to doctors. And we have to try to work and pay for all this stuff at the same time. Let’s go back to the beginning. We are sick and overburdened by red tape, hoops, and hurdles. Don’t push videos and other info on us in your app. Make the app easy to use. Simple is better. Shouldn’t be a separate 2 steps to save data. Should be able to upload a picture of the wrapper, not enter a number. Only thing I really like is the symptom tracker.

So, I updated the app several days ago, and now it crashes regularly. I have been unable to record any information about my symptoms at all, and I usually recorded symptoms daily. I have also become a man, with no recourse to revert back to my actual gender as far as the app is concerned. Although there were concerns with the previous version, having to click through too many screens, etc. - it was working and recording/storing my information on symptoms as well as injections. Not currently!
