  • Yet another great yearly updates Apr 25, 2020

    By Gavyn Knight
I came back to this game after recently hearing it has received another big update and oh my was I surprised at how much you guys changed the game. I seriously haven’t left my phone down for 24 hours because I’m hooked. However there are still some points of criticism I would like to address: 1) the bottom hot bar is too packed together. I would rather have a sliding side bar than a universal hot bar. Since there is so much information in the game now, I think a side hot bar would be the best option. I think if you guys implement the menu system of the iOS game “campus dynasty” the game would flow better. I still constantly forget where things are. 2) Recruiting on easy and hard difficulty is still way to easy. I say you create a points system that is seen in ncaa 14. You have a certain amount of points for recruiting depending on how big your school is. 3) this is something I think you should add. Please add more depth to recruiting like player visits and player gpa. Thank you guys for making the best free college football coaching game. Keep up the good work!
  • Where are the game options? Aug 8, 2020

    By €dw@rd 6867237389
When I looked at how to play it said when you press “play game” there would be three options to chose from; sim game, watch play by play, or play the game live and call plays for your team, but when I create career mode or create a school mode I only have one option and that is to sim the game. This makes no sense because I would have loved to have called plays for my team and watch play by play. If you guys do fix this problem and put those features into the game (like it says on how to play) this game would be great. I really don’t have many problems besides that and quarterbacks that are at a high overall that are on your team (like an 86, 87, or even an 89 overall) have end of season stats that you would see from a 68 or 70 overall quarterback. Also the ranking system is a bit to off in my opinion. I will be ranked #17 and lose to my opponent who is ranked #11 and then be completely out of the top 25. This makes no sense. I have seen #6 ranked teams lose to the number one ranked team in the country and drop all the way down to #18. If the developer can fix these three problems this would be a great game. Besides these problems this overall a pretty decent game.
  • Addictive Game but with Issues May 21, 2019

    By Chillihead88
First of all I want to say I love this game! It really is amazing and the harder difficulty in career mode is really fun! With that being said I do have a few issues. One is what I call the upset affect. In college football you always have unranked or low rank beat a high ranking team creating an upset! This happens in college football but is semi rare when looking at any one team. On this game on the other hand it’s a regular occurrence. I will be higher ranked, my offense and defense talent will be better and just overall a better team but will loose. This can happen a few times a season or once every few seasons but I always have to expect it. Now it goes both ways and I can win games I’m not supposed to but it all just happens to often. I think it’s a good feature just turn down the rate at which it happens. My other bit issue is I can be with a team for 7 years because contract. The would be at prestige of 95 so it doesn’t go any higher. I could do everything but win the national championship and my contract won’t change. I can get to my last year of contract and not do quite as well so my prestige drops a couple of points and then they fire me because my number dropped below 95... even though I’ve led a very successful program. Again I absolutely love this game and play it every day but those are my big frustrations! I always look forward to updates and new content!
  • My official review Oct 12, 2019

    By BigBrain69
This game is fun and I can play it anywhere anytime. But I do feel that this is sometimes incomplete. I really wish it was more realistic. For instance, if you’re a good team, you never have any contest for recruits. I think the recruits should have more offers to choose from so that you don’t always win every single recruit. This also makes it better because you don’t always know how your team will perform. Also, I wish you could be coaching the games live. Like, if your team isn’t playing well than I wish you could change the game plan mid-game. I also wish if you were a very good team you wouldn’t just beat everyone and I wish there would at least be competition in the ranked games you’d play. I would like there to be more upsets in this game as well. If a ranked team plays a non-ranked team, even if the non-ranked team is good the ranked team still wins probably around 85-95 percent of the time. But overall it’s a very good game and I enjoy playing it. I just wish it was a little more realistic.
  • Great game, just too simple Mar 22, 2017

    By Zpheldin
First off, this is a phenomenal game. It's exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. Easy to pick up and play, easy and engaging layout, and very quick to learn. All of that said, there are some improvements to be made here. It feels far too simple at times, and I do feel that the lack of positions is a big contributor to that. I get the OLine, but to group the entire front 7 together as one position comes off as a little lazy. I hope we at least get separation between LBs and DLs later. As others have said, this game is just too easy after a while. Once you know what to look for in recruiting, it's very easy to build and maintain a powerhouse team that wins multiple championships in a row. There doesn't feel like there's really any difference between the difficulty levels, which I hope is something that gets reworked soon.

When playing a live game. It frustrates me when it makes the running back run when I chose to pass. If it’s the quarter back running, that’s fine. Because it just means no one was open and he had to scramble. But WHY is my running back STILL running the ball when I chose to PASS?! And from second quarter to third quarter just continues on as if transitioning from 1st to 2nd quarter, or 3rd to 4th. There should be a halftime meaning u need to score before 2nd quarter ends. Or the team that elected to receive at the start of game will be kicking off in the start of the third quarter. Also, please make it an option to turn off prestige effects when recruiting. It almost makes it impossible to take a low prestige team into a championship team. When you can’t recruit good players. Other than that. I really enjoy this game!

I played this game a while back and it quickly became addicting. I dropped it after a while but recently came back to it and found some much welcomed improvements. There are a couple of things I wish could be changed 1) Allow for the option of redshirting upperclassmen before the season. 2)Don’t allow your school to automatically re-sign you without your say. You should be given the option and offered different amounts of time depending on success- ex. Sign for 1,4 or 7 year contract. Or turn down offer to go to another school that’s interest. 3) I went 12-2 in my final season and was fired...at American Samoa...after a steady improve over 5-7, 7-5, 8-4, etc. that shouldn’t happen just because you happen to lose to a rival. Not exactly realistic. Overall a great game but always room for improvement.
  • A lot to like May 27, 2020

    By DonnyRay13
This is a good role playing football game, there is a lot of depth to it. I love being able to interact with a game by calling plays! A couple things about the game play: 1.) The punt yardage does not add properly at all. I know that there are punt returns (and I have a terrible punter usually), but there is usually a 15 yard difference between your punt yardage and where the next drive starts. 2.) There is no halftime, both teams just play through. So if I am on offense if a run a play to “end the half” the game just skips to the 3rd quarter and I am still on offense. Here are things I would love seeing improved. 1.) Is it possible to include a much bigger recruit pool. I know your team gets filled with walk ons, but I would really like the ability to just recruit my total team the way I want. 2.) The team rating system makes no sense to me. I feel it is accurate (maybe even generous with my team (I usually play with American Samoa)), but when another team has a defense rating of 70, there are times I go look at their roster and all their defensive starters are low 80s and their back ups are low 70s or high 60s. I don't get it. 3.) Customize you out of conference schedule. Overall I think this game has a great base to work off of and is a lot of fun! As a football coach and lover I am super picky, but even without the suggested fixes this game is worth your time.
  • Amazing Game. Nov 14, 2020

By please just let it go through
As someone who is constantly bored in school or work, this game is excellent at passing time and is so much fun when doing so. I have a few suggestions about how the game could be made better: - extending OC/DCs prior to their contract expiring Starting positional boosts Morale (for transfers) - Suspensions for players for in-game events (in hard mode, can be effected by morale/team performance) - Make the Off-Season easier to navigate, I always find myself forgetting that I have to do OOC opponents first and never get a chance to do so, so maybe make it in an order? So like the first thing that opens is OOC opponents, then coordinators being hired, then draftees, then transfers, then recruiting, and then you move on to the next season. - relationship with the AD - Recruiting during the season - a rating called “Discipline” that controls how many times a player may get penalties in a game; in hard mode it’s harder to teach discipline and it has more of an impact but in normal mode every player starts with a C- or more discipline and it doesn’t have a huge effect - changing your rival matchup; for some reason my rival as Michigan is MSU and not OSU, plus in my prior save I was at TCU and I would always play Bama every year and it was always a one score game and I wanted to make them my rival but I couldn’t because it was like OU or someone else. Thank you for making such a good game!

Overall a great game, much more improved & balanced with the new updates added, has various approaches & many details that intrigue players like myself to constantly play the game. I live everything about the game overall but I do have one overall request that I feel would make the game a lot better. A sort of training system where players train throughout the season & gain experience. With this the more experience they gather it can used to boost attributes of the players not just the user teams but CPU-teams also. This also would help a sort of balance as if your players are constantly getting better as the season goes on they are more likely to get drafted overtime throughout the course of the season. It’s adds a real coach affect of handling the team. Hopefully you get back to this review
  • Needs fixes immediately Jul 31, 2018

    By m'baku football
I played since beginning phases but with the improvements there’s still room for growth. First the recruitment part needs an overhaul. 1)there needs to be more players available. I’ve had situations such a as I needed 4 OL but only six players are available. A nice update would be a expansion of players with a top 100 or 300. This way like in real life teams with higher prestige could get the 5&4* players and lower teams could get the normal players with the occasional top tier players committing. 2)With the expansion of players there needs to be a regional feature added. Like players from your geographical region are more inclined to commit to you. I think there a slight programming like that but would be better if enhanced. 2a) Would be nice if there were a certain amount of players in each state and a rank of each instate player. 3) The effort and recruitment tactics needed major improvements. Even if you have a 90 or better prestige it’s difficult to get players to come to your school. Also players can commit to other schools early but not yours. You should be able to get fired or receive offers from other schools to coach there. DEFENSIVE STATS!!!!! DEFENSIVE ALL CONFERENCE &ALL AMERICANS!!!! DEFENSIVE PLAYERS ALLOWED INTO HALL OF FAME & RING OF HONOR !!!!!!! Allow more of a scouting report for upcoming opponents. Bowl games and playoffs played on neutral field In game adjustments & halftime report

  • First few years prestige Aug 27, 2020

    By footlesscow
So I’ve been playing this game for a few years now off and on and I’ve always enjoyed playing it. However as of right now and for most of the game, the first year up to the first three years of career mode, your prestige will fall drastically, saying you fell short of expectations. Especially since you can only pick through bad schools(which isn’t a bad thing.)In my most resent season(season #2) my team went 1-11, no big deal. But when I get to season recap, it says the usual you fell short of expectations and you lost 14 prestige. Now losing 2-5 isn’t much I have a 6 year contract to make it up, but 14 lost prestige on the second year of taking over this team? Please modify this so you don’t get punished as much for an aspect players don’t have much control over(years 1-3)

I love this game have had it for years. It’s come a long way and you’ve put in a ton of effort with it. This is my favorite game and love seeing it develop. One thing I do find irritating and unrealistic is that you can’t recruit an instate player that’s out of your prestige level. I understand and think the prestige going into play in recruiting is a good idea. However, many real teams get players that are out of their prestige range just because there an in state recruit. I think you should make a change where you can recruit all in state players (no matter what your prestige is). If you have to make it take more effort or be difficult, that is completely fine. I really appreciate it and as I said I love the game and am just giving you ideas to help the game grow stronger
  • PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE Mar 29, 2020

    By Tgtf 7373
So I’d like to start by saying that I love this game and everything about it, but there is one huge feature that I’d like to see added.. so there’s another sports coaching/simulation college game very similar to this one called, “College BBall Coach 2”, in that game you can do all the things you do in this game (recruit, coach, make a game plan, adjust, etc) but the one big thing CollegeBball coach 2 has that this game should add is the ability to watch your team play and make adjustments on the fly while they play. I feel like this would be huge for this game because it would add another hands-on/immersive element to this game also I can’t even remember the amount of times I have lost by 1-3 points and just wondered “only if I could’ve seen it and put the team in the best position to win”.. (I LOVE THIS GAME PLZ ADD THIS)

This is a tremendous game and has to be one of the best I’ve ever played. The game goes very in depth in terms of coaching hiring and skill along with the ability to change schemes accordingly. The recruiting system while not anything new is certainly enjoyable however can feel slightly boring at times. One of my biggest strifes with the game is the play calling there is no real talent behind the system and it is very rudimentary with only 10 or so plays per scheme. The ability to create your own plays and or scheme would take this game to the next level. Overall you can tell the dev loves the game and while it might not be a perfect game it is a mobile game so idk what you really can expect especially when there is no adds or in game purchases.

  • Good game but some suggestions for dev Apr 24, 2020

    By ERWM
Overall it is fun and I feel like this game has immense potential. Here is a long list of comments for dev: I played mostly on career challenge mode. I find it to be overly difficult and to be honest outright illogical at times. Recruiting is pretty easy but there are usually only QB, TE, and S recruits that have interest in the school you play. Like I said it is still pretty easy to fill the roster year after year. But then it is kind of unfortunate you have to declare redshirt before you see the players OVR. Additionally, I feel there should be a clear showing of players progression from season to season maybe a spring game/practice or something like that. Finally, I have had multiple RS underclassmen QBs transfer right before they are to take the starting QB position due to my Senior QB graduating. Overall very fun but I think these issues could be fixed to make the game even better!
