So much better than the legacy version. It's now more user-friendly, and I can launch the app and create a new task in seconds and easily find my way to the most recent and most urgent tasks on launch. Great job! I was really critical of the legacy app because it was just so bad but this one is so much better in terms of usability and design. Only issue I still have is occasionally, while typing in the description, the cursor moves around like it has a mind of its own. Very odd. Please fix.

Update: So another new version this evening. Still didn't work. So force stop, clear data, uninstall, restart android, reinstall, log back in and finally working again. We really shouldn't have to jump through these hoops in 2021. So it's a great app, but be prepared to be left high and dry by breaking updates. Reply to Mango: No this wasn't Google's webview issue which had already been fixed, this was the 1st of the two recent clickup updates that immediately stopped it working.

I love ClickUp - primarily use for work and the computer / internet browser version, but use the mobile phone app on the go, computer getting repaired this week so also using on the iPad. I’ve noticed in the new home/inbox section - the TODAY list contains things for today but also for tomorrow (please fix), then tomorrow items also showing up on the NEXT (or whatever it’s called) list. Also noticed it doesn’t seem possible to manage or create recurring tasks within the app - would love this feature in the app! Overall ClickUp has helped me be much more productive and organized. Thanks for a great product!

  • Please bring back the 1 Click Reminder! Apr 7, 2021

    By Bucksw
First off, I’m a huge fan of ClickUp. I’ve used every PM / Agile tool in my career. Even used to consult and help large companies implement productivity tools. And I only use ClickUp to run my businesses now and recommend it to everyone. I use the app on desktop, iPad, and phone. #1 thing I use the phone for is to capture reminders throughout the day and process them into tasks on the desktop. Now on iPad I can’t hit R on the keyboard to pop up reminder add, and on iPhone and iPad it’s now 2 clicks to add a reminder. There used to be a button right there I could quickly hit to add reminder. I know you might be thinking one extra click, come on. But when you use ClickUp as much as I do, it’s really annoying. Please bring back the quick add for reminders! And thanks for building such an amazing versatile tool to Get $h!+ done!

So far the app is looking nice. It's clean and smooth. The only issues are that it needs to support the features on the web client (such as the Board, Calendar, and Timeline) and it should also have widget support. Then it would be perfect. Along with the UI looking similar to the web client. Other than that, Nice work!

  • IPad App is terrible Feb 21, 2021

The Web interface is ok, would be nice if ClickUp indicated the name of the Project/Folder in the Task description, so when you have projects/folders with similar Tasks on other projects, you know which one your updating. This is challenging when working on multiple projects with similar workflow and tasks w/sub tasks. & list. Would also be nice if ClickUp linked with your other calendars. Has potential with some additional enhancements. If your a drag and drop person using Kanban, you may like this. I prefer Kanban, List and Integrated Calendar. All these tasks apps appear to be lacking in Calendar integration with visibility and clear naming of Task association to Folder/Project; as if Outlook email, meeting invites and other standard office tools no longer exist. Example: Common Tasks performed on every project might be “Send Intro Letter to Customer”. Since the view arranges in order of flow with not Project name indicated, there could be several “Send Intro Letter to Customers” indicated with no means to know which project its for. It’s also Difficult to indicate due date/time if you can’t see the other things in your Outlook Calendar such as Meeting request, etc. Again has potential, but these items are a must for me, so.....maybe in the future I’ll reconsider if the added functions are there. Again, iPad interface is terrible and not even remotely close to that of the web version.

While ClickUp is absolutely great on Desktop, the mobile platform just doesn't work. When I add or update tasks on desktop, then try and refer back on my phone, it never synchronises! The mobile app is just not very useful. And I hate that I have to ALWAYS log into my desktop just to stay on top of things. It doesn't help!

Not Useable at all. Love the web app, but the app on my phone I can't use. The first day I used it, got logged in, no problems. Next day and since can't even open the app. The clickup logo shows on the screen, and that is all she wrote. Just sits there forever. I have tried rebooting phone, forcing the app closed. Nothing works. Guess will have to stick with just the web app.

  • why relaunch an app that doesn’t do everything the previous one did? Dec 30, 2020

    By crbsmtih68
I love Clickup, and I use it all day long, every day. I was excited to see a new mobile app because there are a few issues with the current one over using the Windows client or online version. But right now, this app is unusable to me because it doesn’t have some of the backbone I need to plan my day. I must have the inbox function. I don’t want to be hobbled by an app rollout over months. Maybe this should be called a beta version or playground to test rollout. It’s not ready for prime time! I uninstalled and went back to the previous version, waiting for everything to be in place before I get fooled again.

  • Where is the ability to see today’s tasks? Jan 9, 2021

    By Chelsea _25
It pains me to rate this app at 2 stars because I adore the web and Mac apps - but I just don’t understand how you can release a to-do list app without the ability to see a simple summary of today’s tasks! That is literally the #1 most useful thing about a mobile to-do list app. This app is worthless to me without it. I tried for 5 minutes to use it as-is by scrolling through all of my tasks and looking for what’s due today before giving up in frustration and re-downloading the legacy ClickUp. I see that the ability to do this is in-progress on the roadmap - but truly, I cannot use this app until that’s available.

  • Excellent mobile interface Jan 13, 2021

    By dbenn3268
I really like how this version of the ClickUp app is taking the program’s experience to a more mobile adapted interface. While there are still plenty of features to be implemented from the roadmap, the app is off to a great start. The legacy 2.0 app was the web version mobilized. While this interface keeps the same functions, but makes it easier to precisely change task information and data in spaces. Well done, looking forward to implementations from the roadmap.

  • Search for listing is still missing Dec 21, 2020

    By Soundreality
This app is good, seems faster but missing some essential items. Searching for listing name does not return anything, currently is for tasks. I have many lists and some tasks have the same name, so there is no easy way for me to use this app. The legacy app allows sewrching for list name. I would think this should be available in the new app. I am giving 5 stars for continuous improvement on this new app, please respond and provide timeline for this. Thanks.

it’s a great app! I love using it! I use the desktop version, but the only thing missing from the mobile version, is the widget feature. Looking forward to when that’s implemented so I can see immediate tasks or a project view without having to open up the app. It’ why I have considered other apps that has the widget feature vs clickup to use on my phone. Update: Widgets are in and now so am I! Shoutout to the hardworking developers and team at Clickup!

I switched over to ClickUp as my main system. First I gave the app 3 stars, but to see how the ClickUp team is busy with improving the app and making it more seamless and better I decided to give it 4 stars. In my opinion a winner is when you can make a app simple like Apple does with there IOS apps. As a programmer I know how difficult this is. I hope ClickUp nails this, then the whole ClickUp ecosystem would be perfect.

**This section is written before using the app** So far, the app isn't friendly when new to the platform. I downloaded the app and the first screen I see is the Sign In page (with SSO), there isn't an option to create an account via the app. I opted to pull up the website on my phone, and as soon as I opt to sign up, it switches to the app as soon as I enter my email. Doesn't lead up to a good introductory experience, had to go to my desktop to create the account before using the app.

  • Still a bit lean on features Mar 13, 2021

    By LENKphoto
While appreciate the usefulness of ClickUp on the desktop, this mobile app seems a bit thin on the core functions my team needs. Namely, we need to view task time estimates and be able to track time against them. Would be great if time tracking was its own view or intuitively incorporated in the home view list of today’s tasks (I mean, let us track time right from the list, don’t bury it inside the items). Looking forward to upcoming versions!

I like the new app aesthetically, but with limited features it is not as useful as just being on a desktop. Maybe I am just not finding it, but it seems like you can't edit or create lists? Kind of defeats the purpose of the phone app if I still have to get on the desktop all the time...

The web version of ClickUp is amazing. Unfortunately, I can’t view my reminders in this app compared to the old one. Also, the list views do not show the filters and tasks on those lists properly. On one list, I have a “main” list that shows everything and an alternate list view that shows the tasks in the “main” list with a specific tag. This version of the app is significantly better than the old version though.

Lots of missing features such as the ability to force touch a task in board view to make it able to move up in the status column. This is a must have for prioritization of tasks. Please review the iOS Reminders app to know what I mean with using force touch to move reminders up and down the list. Also, I want to be able to favorite specific views on specific lists from within that list view.

They made this app missing a ton of features and options that the iPad or desktop have. I understand you have limited space but removing certain things doesn't make sense. List options? When viewing "everything" why isn't it broken down by project like on the other apps? It's a bunch of small things missing that just add a slight annoyance to using click up on Android.

2 stars for not crashing. Probably one of the the most confusing project management tools I've tried. Things are very hard to find. Tasks dissappear once finished. Chats gone. Chat messages not showing up in notifications in the app. No push notifications. To get messages turn email notifications. Once you get the email, tap it and most of the times you end up in the vicinity of the message. You still have to find the actual message in the app. I'll stick to Trello and Slack

  • Too many missing features at launch Feb 13, 2021

    By longstockinggirl
I adore Click Up; so much so that I encourage all my clients to use it. A 1-star review hurts. But the new app just wasn’t ready for launch. For now, I must recommend the legacy app. I’ve been patient but as is the new app is unusable and we really need a mobile solution that offers more of the features the desktop app and browser portal provide. And unfortunately, the iOS browser solution is unworkable because it pushes you to the app. The icing on the cake is that you can’t even log in from the iPad app to vote on the new features you most like to see; and the road map is a bare bones to-do list with practically no useful information. So I would have to go to the computer, navigate to the app roadmap, and the navigate to the features hub to log in to vote / comment on proposed new features. ClickUp has been the gold standard in useful features, easy UI, and phenomenal customer service - but this new direction and attitude really has me worried about the future. Are they growing too big too fast to maintain that level of excellence?

Not only can you not register via the app/a mobile device (you can only register via a computer because it’ll just reopen the app otherwise), it doesn’t show sub-projects or the calendar option which is only available via a computer. Then when you try to upload an attachment and select ‘Choose Image,’ it only shows videos to select. There’s already a ‘Choose Video’ option. I don’t want a video, I want an image. I have to select ‘Take Photos’ and retake whatever it was I wanted to submit, so any edits you want to do, forget them, because they aren’t happening. ‘Choose File’ only allows Cloud images. This app is a hassle to figure out and use.
