  • Please bring back the 1 Click Reminder! Apr 7, 2021

    By Bucksw
First off, I’m a huge fan of ClickUp. I’ve used every PM / Agile tool in my career. Even used to consult and help large companies implement productivity tools. And I only use ClickUp to run my businesses now and recommend it to everyone. I use the app on desktop, iPad, and phone. #1 thing I use the phone for is to capture reminders throughout the day and process them into tasks on the desktop. Now on iPad I can’t hit R on the keyboard to pop up reminder add, and on iPhone and iPad it’s now 2 clicks to add a reminder. There used to be a button right there I could quickly hit to add reminder. I know you might be thinking one extra click, come on. But when you use ClickUp as much as I do, it’s really annoying. Please bring back the quick add for reminders! And thanks for building such an amazing versatile tool to Get $h!+ done!

Update: you finally fixed the issue when clicking on a notification it actually loads that item and displays it. Love clickup use it for everything daily and recommend it to everyone. The mobile app just doesn't work, clicking a task from notifications nothing shows up, get invalid token errors, clicking from email nothing loads.... can't find anything. Had to uninstall the app just so I could use the mobile web version and work again.

I evaluate top tier G2 SaaS solutions for a multitude of use cases professionally and so I constantly test out new CRMs and CX/ERP/Automation solutions. I can tell you that I use Clickup internally for nearly everything, and I can only count on one hand the number of times it didn't or couldn't do the exact thing I needed. I am pretty dead set on whitelabeling and using the enterprise version for pretty much all contracts moving forward. Love the product and the mobile app works flawlessly!

I’m a new user to project management apps and ClickUp and so I can’t say I’ve had anything else to compare it to. But I am a designer and I have to say the app UI leaves something to be desired. It doesn’t feel intuitive and just gets me frustrated using it. The browser version is much more easier to use and I prefer to sign on through the browser on my iPad rather than the app. I hope the design team at ClickUp will consider redoing the UI in a way that makes it easier to use and understand right away. I don’t enjoy having to really think about how to get to my tasks/subtasks when I have to get them done. As far as features that ClickUp has to offer, I am happy that there are so many ways of customization that can allow for different brains to process information easiest to them. This allows for everyone on the team to work the best way suited to them. This is one of the main reasons why I continue to use ClickUp. Inclusive design rather than exclusive design!

I like the app a lot and recomand for others. I could love more if they would not ask for permission to read and delete for the entire content from Drive when I try to sync the tasks with Google calendar. That should not happen. Please fix this inconvient so I can use also the sync.

I have tried ClickUp before but could not figure out how to navigate it. Well, this latest version is a whole new app. I just started using the free version and am thoroughly impressed. I have been working on improving my work flow for years. I thought I was almost there with my use of Apple reminders, Google calendar and Evernote. I think ClickUp could be the one tool to replace my current system. I’m still trying to figure out if storing documents will work as well for me. I have contacted ClickUp support three times today with questions and they have responded more quickly than any other vendor I’ve used. And I’m only on the free plan. If you’re like me you owe it to yourself to see what ClickUp can do for you.

I very rarely write reviews because they take too long but ClickUp deserves it. I’m a business owner and iOS software engineer who needed a better productivity and project management app. After setting up my click up account in dashboard on the MacOS app, I downloaded the iOS app to give it a try. WOW! It works incredibly well and everything is well thought out for mobile. I believe this was made using Flutter but, for me, it still feels native to iOS. Also the customer service is out of the world. You can actually call and talk to a REAL person if you’re having problems. Kudos to the ClickUp team!

I’m a solo business owner who wears all the hats 🎩 and who enjoys weaving technology 🔌 into my workflow. Because of my love for apps, I have literally tried each of these > Monday, Asana, Wunderlist, Notion, Trello, Evernote. Click-Up allows me to manage my daily tasks, Quarterly Goals while documenting my progress each month. It’s very customizable and if you are familiar with any of the other apps I listed earlier, you will find some familiar ways to display your projects. (ie: if you like Trello, you will love the “board view” that can also be viewed as a list, Calendar, Gnatt, Timeline, etc) My favorite part of Click-Up is their mobile app 😍 because I can literally do everything I can from the computer on my phone. They continue to improve their application which has empowered me to hit some major milestones in my new business. I highly recommend you give Click-Up a try to see how it evolves your workflow.

I don't recommend this app for anyone who, like me, does most of their work on mobile. Its limited functionality leads to a sometimes maddening user experience. I'm keen to try the app as it becomes more robust, especially if it remains free. In the meantime, I'm going to continue paying to use the Sunsama web app on Android, because it integrates tasks, appointments, and projects with a cleaner interface and higher level of functionality.
  • why relaunch an app that doesn’t do everything the previous one did? Dec 30, 2020

I love Clickup, and I use it all day long, every day. I was excited to see a new mobile app because there are a few issues with the current one over using the Windows client or online version. But right now, this app is unusable to me because it doesn’t have some of the backbone I need to plan my day. I must have the inbox function. I don’t want to be hobbled by an app rollout over months. Maybe this should be called a beta version or playground to test rollout. It’s not ready for prime time! I uninstalled and went back to the previous version, waiting for everything to be in place before I get fooled again.

Time after time, I have problems with scheduling my tasks! Last time after setting "recurring when the task is done" feature for some unbelievable reasons ClickUp "forgot" that several of my tasks have this feature enabled and these tasks are "complete" now instead of moving start and due dates to the next day. Yet, you folks are constantly bragging about how your app will "replace them all", and putting annoying "inspirational quotes" to distract people! Just focus on performance first, okay?!
  • Where is the ability to see today’s tasks? Jan 9, 2021

    By Chelsea _25
It pains me to rate this app at 2 stars because I adore the web and Mac apps - but I just don’t understand how you can release a to-do list app without the ability to see a simple summary of today’s tasks! That is literally the #1 most useful thing about a mobile to-do list app. This app is worthless to me without it. I tried for 5 minutes to use it as-is by scrolling through all of my tasks and looking for what’s due today before giving up in frustration and re-downloading the legacy ClickUp. I see that the ability to do this is in-progress on the roadmap - but truly, I cannot use this app until that’s available.

I had started using the PC version of clickup and its brilliant...I can really see it working for me. However I want something that I can access through my phone too. This app bears absolutely zero resemblance to the PC version and it seems to be a place where you can view your already created tasks, but not do much else. The widget is shocking...only shows today's task, not overdue or future ones. This app is actually making me reconsider using clickup at all!!!
  • Too many missing features at launch Feb 13, 2021

    By longstockinggirl
I adore Click Up; so much so that I encourage all my clients to use it. A 1-star review hurts. But the new app just wasn’t ready for launch. For now, I must recommend the legacy app. I’ve been patient but as is the new app is unusable and we really need a mobile solution that offers more of the features the desktop app and browser portal provide. And unfortunately, the iOS browser solution is unworkable because it pushes you to the app. The icing on the cake is that you can’t even log in from the iPad app to vote on the new features you most like to see; and the road map is a bare bones to-do list with practically no useful information. So I would have to go to the computer, navigate to the app roadmap, and the navigate to the features hub to log in to vote / comment on proposed new features. ClickUp has been the gold standard in useful features, easy UI, and phenomenal customer service - but this new direction and attitude really has me worried about the future. Are they growing too big too fast to maintain that level of excellence?
  • Use the other ClickUp App! Dec 23, 2020

    By AM Shields085
I’ve been using the other ClickUp app (ClickUp 2.0) with my job for weeks now. I received an email from ClickUp saying they had all ALL NEW updated app. I figured it couldn’t hurt. The other app was good, but not great. But this one is TERRIBLE! There is nothing there!? You can’t do anything on it. There’s no “Me Mode.” You can’t organize/ compartmentalize any of your task lists. I.e - Inbox, In Progress, Waiting, Completed. It just lists everything in one looooong list. Seemingly, without the ability to put turn in any order. If just defaults to most recent. If they’re going to add more items, ok great. But they released a WORSE app before it was ready. I’ll be deleting it until it’s ready for public consumption.

I really like Clickup in general but I think the app is not very well done. Either I'm too dumb or there's really no way to delete lists / spaces / anything on here... Edit: Found it all easily in your old app, how come the old one has more "features" (really just basic functionality) than the new one.
  • The app is terrible! Jan 18, 2021

    By Alice5130
Not only can you not register via the app/a mobile device (you can only register via a computer because it’ll just reopen the app otherwise), it doesn’t show sub-projects or the calendar option which is only available via a computer. Then when you try to upload an attachment and select ‘Choose Image,’ it only shows videos to select. There’s already a ‘Choose Video’ option. I don’t want a video, I want an image. I have to select ‘Take Photos’ and retake whatever it was I wanted to submit, so any edits you want to do, forget them, because they aren’t happening. ‘Choose File’ only allows Cloud images. This app is a hassle to figure out and use.

Guys, I can't establish dependencies in the Android app, what gives? This is basic functionality. Your app is way too pared down when compared to the web version. Basically you have to do all the planning in the web version and only use mobile for very basic stuff. That won't work for me!

  • Essential May 7, 2021

    By I love the show!!
ClickUp is incredible, and constantly working to improve. HOWEVER, one of the strangest ironies has me stuck confused: Why would a project management app prioritize the functions( updates/upgrades) that are most useful/needed? For example: in its current capacity, I can not invite guests to new folders/users to tasks, select slash commands, and/or use the timer feature. Strangest of all, the above mentioned missing functions both work and are available on the legacy app. Just seems to me, regardless of its level or difficult, these are 3 things that need immediate attention.
  • Excellent mobile interface Jan 13, 2021

    By dbenn3268
I really like how this version of the ClickUp app is taking the program’s experience to a more mobile adapted interface. While there are still plenty of features to be implemented from the roadmap, the app is off to a great start. The legacy 2.0 app was the web version mobilized. While this interface keeps the same functions, but makes it easier to precisely change task information and data in spaces. Well done, looking forward to implementations from the roadmap.

  • Impressive, but a ways to go Jun 9, 2021

    By IslanderStu
ClickUp brings an impressive amount of functionality into their mobile app. Anyone who has designed mobile apps knows that fitting a dense list of features into a mobile experience is not easy. ClickUp has done admirably well in this regard and, better yet, has a long-term roadmap of features yet to be released. My only frustration has to do with the notifications. When I click on a ClickUp push notification I would expect it to open that notification in the app or, better yet, go right to the card / ticket. Instead it opens to the Home Screen and you have to find where that notification - now dismissed - lives in the app .
  • Like! Needs a couple corrections Feb 20, 2021

I love ClickUp - primarily use for work and the computer / internet browser version, but use the mobile phone app on the go, computer getting repaired this week so also using on the iPad. I’ve noticed in the new home/inbox section - the TODAY list contains things for today but also for tomorrow (please fix), then tomorrow items also showing up on the NEXT (or whatever it’s called) list. Also noticed it doesn’t seem possible to manage or create recurring tasks within the app - would love this feature in the app! Overall ClickUp has helped me be much more productive and organized. Thanks for a great product!

Decent overall including the support. It is just that the "Everything" space doesn't show any tasks in the Boards view (but works with the List view), until I changed some filters from the webapp, I'm not sure if that was a coincidence. Also, widget should show overdue and next 7 days at least, not only today's inbox. Also comment syncing isn't perfect. I still believe they are much better than Asana for me, and their phone app feels like a native app now and easy.

It's kind of useful if you mabage to organize yourself inside the app. But then, you can organize yourself on a piece of paper. Worst part is that it tries so hard to do everything and show you every feature so it gets in a way. I left it after months of use after I had tovsay "just let me do my job".

I tried this app, and could not understand why anyone would - or even could - use it, it seemed to lack even basic functionality. Just adding a task seemed impossible, no matter what I did the button was greyed out. Luckily I decided to try the website, based on comments in some other reviews, and it is perfect, every feature I was looking for, plus others I did not even know I wanted! The app seriously needs to be fixed and provide the same features as the website.

Guys, I can't establish dependencies in the Android app, what gives? This is basic functionality. Your app is way too pared down when compared to the web version. Basically you have to do all the planning in the web version and only use mobile for very basic stuff. That won't work for me!

  • No Go on the APP - terrible design Mar 17, 2021

It’s not intuitive at all. Could do a full stop right there and it would be enough. But you can’t even edit the important things you need to edit. And when I just try to go to the web browser, Chrome, to use on my iPhone or iPad, it defaults right back to the app which is... in a word? Disabling. Why bother with the App then? Ya gotta fix this quick! This will be a no-go with many. Maybe not now with so many people working from home and can just jump on their computer, but I when things open back up more, I’m gonna need to access my project management tools on my phone in more than read-only mode. Because that’s about what it boils down to right now.

This app is terrible!! I love Clickup, I really do. After searching everywhere, I feel I've finally found what I'm looking for. But...that only applies to the web and Windows apps. The mobile app is the pits with extremely limited functionality. It kinda feels like trying to find two matching socks in the dark, because you feel like you should be able to do certain things but it doesn't work at all like expected. I can't have my computer with me everywhere. ClickUp, please fix this soon!
