100 % an awesome game for my phone. I love the option of being able to create multiple bases, and being able to "copy" an enemy base. I've been a fan now for like 8 years. It's cool being able to communicate with people all over the world. A couple of things I've noticed that needs adjustments, in my opinion is. It takes way too long to upgrade buildings when you become a high level townhall. Also, buying anything with gems cost wayyyyy too much. But a great game. For real.

Battle Machine AI needs work
more lessThe game is fine and i’ve been playing it for years but never really payed much attention to the builder base until recently. I was so excited to finally get the battle machine and use it in my attacks until i started noticing the really bad targeting it has. I tried using funneling strategies to try to get the battle machine to attack where i want it to go, but it will choose to go towards the most useless buildings every time. I try to funnel it to go directly for the builder hall, all other buildings are destroyed, the path is clear, but it decides to go for the army camp way in the other side of the base instead. The most apparent problem it has is that it will target the guard post troops even if they are way out of range. If anything, the regular troops like barbarians and archers should be the ones to target them while the battle machine does the damage, but it’s the other way around. Even if the guard post troops are way inside the base and the builder hall is right in front of the battle machine, it will still go for the troops and die immediately because it’s surrounded by literally every defense, and the attack just goes downhill from there. A similar thing happens with the archer queen since it’s a ranged hero but it’s not as bad as the battle machine. It’s pretty much useless most of the time. If that could just get fixed, attacks would be much more successful.

great free game! I've been playing off n on for 7 years and love a lot about the game, esp how they've continued to add new things to help with the insane upgrade times/costs. Though I love that they do that, I do wish things didnt take 3 weeks and max storage just for 1 upgrade(late game). Also the pathfinding n matchmaking have been top cons of this game since day 1. they say they've fixed it but its still just as bad unfortunately. I do really appreciate that you can play truly for free tho!

Clash of clans idea/ general thoughts
more lessThe game is great for people that were starting before, but now it feels impossible to start from scratch. Each tower upgrades are decently timed from the beginning 2-3 days important town halls 7-14 days each upgrade. The problem I have as a experienced player in this game is the boundaries. I have played this game for couple years and I have gotten almost everything maxed or was before the jungle update. The problem I faced was many bases felt copy paste or generic. The gameplay I though was fun became something that you check on upgrade wait a week play again get loot rinse and repeat. I do have ideas how they can fix this problem and add possibly better content for the game. Earlier when play the tutorial they bring in campaign and goblins attacking you. Instead Clash of clans could evolve this idea. They could implement possibly a in game waves simulator. This is where goblins or other troops will attack each wave and the player can gain gold or elixer to boost/ upgrade troops in this game mode. They can also add in skins or other customization for the town hall making it look more fun and authentic. This idea is based off similar games like: “they are billions”, dota, and other strategies tower defense games. The reason I am adding this idea is so there is more then just upgrade and move towers around to win trophies. Hope this review helps. Really like playing this game.

Love it. You should get it it's really a lot of fun. And alo the only game on the play store that has no ads, or just maybe very rare ads.

Battle Machine AI needs work

5/5 I love it, would download a 2nd time if it wasn't for Google limits. 1 thing I must mention is, the game is very grindy especially in the later Town halls. Supercell somewhat alleviated this via the end of season rewards. Alleviate doesn't mean solve though, if you willing to see this as a 2nd job, yeah, GO FOR IT. But for the ones who get on, play for 2 hours then get off. They're going to have a slower time upgrading. But it IS possible and to me, after all of that. It's a worthy download.

more lessI have had this game for many years now and I have 5 accounts I love this game ! However I would like to say I do not enjoy the game as much as I use to . To start , the removal of global chat made the game feel a little boring and I find I do not spend as much time on it as i use to . Also as leader of my clan I find it harder to recruit active , English speaking and friendly members to the clan . However it isn’t a huge deal to me and i understand there reasoning behind removing it . Another thing I disliked is when they made it to where you can no longer farm by using your th to get a shield timer and this is one that I don’t get why it was changed . I guess the only thing that I actually have a problem with is the new clan castle troop system with the laboratory level cap . I know it’s to keep ppl from getting op cc troops and wrecking there opponent blah blah blah . The reason I have a problem with this is because on my th 3 account with like 250 ish trophy’s I get clapped by people with th 2-3 levels above mine FREQUENTLY . If I was trophy pushing I would get it but I’m not so there reasoning for the cc troop lvl cap is silly in my opinion . With all of that tho I can’t recommend this game enough it is by far the best Mobil game out there and super cell if u read this pls let me give my other accounts max cc troops and bring back global

This is about clan leagues
more lessSo i dont wanna give this 1 star just because im mad, because its a great game and even the leagues still work well. The problem is how there is not a very clear explanation of starting one. So im the leader of a clan, and i have a couple cos who were in the last league, and they saw you could change the members before a war at any time. Let me just say that starting league looks very similar to starting a normal war, so when one of my cos saw the menu of who to add to league, they thought it had to be either 15 or 30 depending on the league type they chose. Because normal wars you cant have any extras it has to be exact. It also tells you how many people youve selected at the bottom. So they selected a random 15 just to get league started thinking that they could just change it later. But now theyve started league with a random 15 players and we have no way of canceling or changing people out, even though preparation day for the first war barley started. Now 60% of my clan cant participate in league and we cant do anything about it. I would just like to see this changed in a future update. Like if you can change the members at anytime before a war, why would they make it so you are limited to those you selected before hand. It would make more sense just to let you change out the participants with anyone in the clan.

The game is extremely fun once you learn the gameplay loop of attack to gain loot, then upgrade over and over. Thing is that works until about Townhall 8 or 9 and that will keep you busy for about a year. Once you hit Th 10 or higher, it has almost become work to maintain intrest because the wait times to upgrade and train troops to attack takes to long. (Builder base is the best in app solution but that only counts for the first 3 successes. Then it pointless to be on the base.)

I love the game, and have been playing for a year or two now. However, every single time I try to open the game, it loads for a little while, the bar goes slightly past the word "Loading," then sends me back to the home screen after a bit of lag. I don't know if there's a way to make the game load every time, but eventually I can play. Great game, except for the opening bug. Edit: The bug has been fixed and I can now fully enjoy the game. :)

It’s good but a bad flaw
more lessI love playing coc because it’s fun and addicting thus the rating but because it’s not a 4 star or 5star rating is because of supercell banning me for no reason so what happened was me and my dad started playing coc again and I got up to a town hall 5 and he was a town hall three and I didn’t know you could recover a lost account then my dad found out how to get his old account back he was a town hall 12 and so he just gave them what the town hall level was and the name of the base the clan his name and the tag and he got his account back so I wanted to get my old account back too and for two days supercell support asked for information such as what phone type the account was on and the name and clan etc me and my dad were in the same exact clan and after they ask one more time in the morning for some info they banned me due to an account phishing attempt supercell support had no reason to ban me and the only reason I can think of is because of the lack of information since it was a year or two ago and the fact that my town hall 5 had progress which is no where near enough evidence to ban me for 31 days and so if supercell support doesn’t help unban me then I will lose a lot of respect for the game and being worried if I will lose my account because I didn’t get a warning or was banned for 31 days will ruin this game for me that’s all I wanted to say and I hope supercell helps and I can change my review and fix this mess

more lessI’ve been playing this game for years... and there is a lot that has changed.. I think the worst part that has changed is the global chat. That was prob the best part. You got to talk to all kinds of people. Talk about their clans and how things ran in them. But now you just have to guess and pick a clan. Don’t know if they speak your language or around your age. If they talk a certain way in their. Who knows?? You just pick one and go with it and keep jumping till you find something. Then the time wait on stuff is crazy. The best part is the new challenges you can do to earn rewards. Since everyone is most likely broke as mess since everything costs sooooo much. I’ve even spent like $5 on this game and that barely put a dent in what I needed to upgrade. It is a fun game to play and talk to people in but that part is cut out for some reason.. literally the best part. It made clan finding easy! Also I don’t really care for the other castle thing over the sea.. a lot of people don’t care for it since they are grinding their main base all the time. It was way better when it was simple. Just a base, clan, clan wars, clan chat, and global chat. But the loot after you get raided is nice! Really like that feature! The others people don’t really do except clan games. Great rewards in that! That’s it for right now I think. Well time to go hop in and out of clans all day to find a decent one I fit into and like 😒

more lessI’ve been playing clash of clans since 2014 or late 2013 don’t remember exactly, it’s a great game and is unique or was when a crap ton of rip offs were made of it’s fun attacking other people’s bases talking to people in your and having clan wars and clan games it does take a long time to upgrade stuff but I don’t mind it’s a pretty casual game that you can play 10 or so minutes of at a time there’s nothing wrong, for me that is with the game itself except dealing with people of higher town halls attacking my base cause there in the same league or 1 or 2 ahead but I don’t mind since gathering resources is rather easy. The only actual complaint that I have is not with the game but game support or whatever it’s called since I got banned for phishing even though the account was my mini, the first or second mini I made and just wanted access to it not actually play on it since I have another mini now it still pisses me off cause why would a townhall 11 risk getting there account banned for a townhall 7 like bruh even if it was fishy it had a name identical to mine except with 3.0 but whatever. The point is the game is great and you should play it and it’s fun but it doesn’t have so great player service so don’t be surprised if you get randomly banned for something dumb, but it’s a definite 5 star game just gave it a 3 star review cause of the service.

Gameplay is easy, not too complicated. Second clash is fun and gives you something to do while you wait for things to upgrade. If you're not paying for gems, you may find your hands tied waiting. Not really an issue. Social can swing wildly from good to bad, but that's not the games fault. Training is super easy. Lots of troops to choose from. Overall enjoy playing, wouldn't mind more activities while waiting for troops and upgrades to finish.

Builder village
more lessClash of Clans is one of the greatest Mobile apps you can find with this type of gameplay yes, but the builder base clashing system is broken. The AI and the match-making system is absolute garbage. Playing as a builder hall 5 I am consistently up-tiered to builder hall 6 & 7 and it is completely unfair. When raiding a village at the normal village you can get maybe 1 or 2 stars against a higher town hall but when the amount of damage you do is a deciding factor if you win and the enemy has a stronger army and stronger base, then it’s mostly impossible. Sure, you get the inadequate player who is either rushed or just plain bad, but the advantage of having a higher base over your opponent is making it almost unplayable and the opposite of fun, frustrating. The AI is also complete garbage as most of the time you’re stuck wondering, “WHY ARE YOU GOING THAT WAY!!!!”. But both bases have that problem, but the wall breakers took a complete step backwards because they still target wall spikes. The AI also decides to run straight past other buildings to get to the building that was across the wall, which is stupid because none of them have enough health to run past three defenses. I’ve had cannons go past the town hall to attack buildings over a wall too. The AI is completely unprepared for handling walls and the match-making system is completely awful.
