  • Awesome App | A Few Suggestions Sep 22, 2017

    By Rocketman173
Hello! I would like to say that I absolutely love this app. Or use it on all the time, and sometimes to find out what would happen if I make a couple certain chemicals. Can’t tell you how much fun I’ve had mixing pure sodium with water so many times. However, I do have a suggestion. You should add AR support. A lot of other apps that don’t seem to be related to AR at all are also adding it. Your app could definitely benefit from using it, as you could have a virtual chemistry lab that actually looks like it’s in a lab. You could place your chemistry lab on a desk, or anywhere else in the world. It would be extremely fun to use. I understand that this may be difficult to develop. However, I think the community at large would enjoy it and you should develop it. Thanks.

Its hard to use, you'll tap on one thing but it'll say you tapped on the other. And its hard to move things around without needing to be stopped because you hovered over something. Also the interface glitches out where you need to restart the app to fix it which is very annoying.

I love this app. This is one of the favorite apps that I have (and I have a lot of apps). People are saying stuff about reactions not working? Most of them work for me. A few don’t work as well but most of them do work really well! I feel like the organic compounds need a little fixing, but other than that, it works well for me! I love all the different reactions that you can use and the diverse array of chemicals! Thank you so much for this app, and I can’t wait for the next update!

Great application, brings back memories of the hobby store chemistry set in my youth, without the messes to clean or unexpected fires to extinguish.

I bought this in fourth grade when my perception of chemistry was just throwing things together and making pretty chemicals. I got confused by the layout and deleted it. Now I'm in ninth grade, my interest and understanding has skyrocketed (as least from back then lol). I've only done one reaction so far (the chlorination of methane) and I think I'm hooked! If this change I will be sure to let you know.

  • Most reactions don’t work Nov 23, 2018

    By Mr. L Allen
Tried mixing KNO3 and H2SO4 to make HNO3 and it didn’t do anything. So I tried mixing it, heating it, cooling it, and nothing worked. This same thing happens with most reactions I try. Also, the PH paper has yet to function. This app is a really great concept honestly. If all the reactions worked then I would definitely recommend it to my AP Chem 2 buddies. For something that costs over $4.99 it should work properly. I’ve seen other apps that work better for free. Please please fix this guys! This app is a really good idea to develop more!!

For the price, there's some rather basic stuff missing (I think). An example is that if I mix colors, they don't mix. They form layers. If I use the stirring rod, they remain in layers. That's silly. I hope I haven't wasted my money. If there's a solution to this, I will humbly change my review.

Honestly this app is horrible for the price. I bought to actually experiment with substances that I have yet to know the reaction to. For $8, this game doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I would wish to get a refund on this game if I can. Don't waste money on something this. Bare in mind that you have to pay extra for more items in-app, even though the main app is 8 freaking dollars

It's a really unfortunate scenario when you pay for the premium version of an app only for the developers to say, "we appreciate your purchase, but will require you to pay even more if you want (insert choice item)" when I paid for the pro version of this app it was to unlock ALL compounds/elements/reagents. That's what was advertised. I thoroughly enjoy this app, but I'm discouraged that I'm being asked to pay even more. No thanks.

I’m an R&D chemist by trade, so I was excited to finally see what looked like a real chemistry app on the App Store! Unfortunately, most reactions that should work don’t. The pH reading function is completely broken (pure sulfuric acid doesn’t have a pH of 7), none of the organic reactions worked for me, and the in app purchases just added insult to injury. Don’t buy this app if you’re looking for anything even remotely scientific.

This game is the only of it's kind on Google play or the app store!! There's no other game that comes even remotely close, I've had this game for years and never get tired of it! Thank you to the Developer!! The organic chemicals are well worth $1, and the app is worth more than it costs by far! Well done!

I purchased this app pretty much knowing that most likely that it’s not going to 100% accurate as in real life Let’s say it’s 60% accurate it’s still fun & worth it to me 👍🏼 👍🏼 All you experienced chemist instead of criticizing the app you should email them or write a Review on here on what you find missing then maybe in future updates it will be more like 80% or 90% activate

I'm severely disappointed, you don't get the excess reagent and most of these reactions don't even work, but I still like that there's way more possibilities. But again I hate that some of the reactions don't work, and it doesn't give you recommendations on what equipment to use

I would love to see sodium hypochlorite as a chemical in this because of how many things it gets used in. I can't wait to see if fractional distillation and other glassware might find its way into the app. I'm installing this on my tablet soon. Bigger screen hopefully will mean more control. I would also love to see amalgamation show up because the first thing I did was mix Mercury and aluminum to make the famous amalgam. But it's not in there

It was good to use. But the formation of sodium chloride formula is wrong. It's 2Na + Cl_2 --> 2NaCl. And others such as the lack of equipment which is understandable for now. Other than that, it is fun breaking glass.

  • THE BEST APP!! But I just need to do a little bug report Sep 29, 2019

I just installed this app today and I’m really enjoying but there’s this bug where on iPad, you don’t get a temperature button or a settings button. (It’s cut off) Hope to see the bug be fixed soon! ;D

It's not a horrible game, it's fun for a minute. Not worth the money, though. It should be free w/ ads. The developer would make more money and the end user wouldn't waste money on something that they have to use a ton of Google for, too. [Maybe consider a 'campaign'? Maybe some preset reactions or 'recipes'.] [I2+h2o2=🤩🤩]

There are some chemical reactions that should work, but do not work on this app. This app has plenty bugs and needs an update and a better improvement overall. I really do enjoy using this app, but I’m not satisfied with the incomplete or lack of true results that should take place when dealing with certain chemical reactions. Manganese (II) Sulfate does not pour into any container.

reactons are not always realistic, cant do organic chemistry, just try reacting benzene with sulphuric and nitric acid to form nitrobenzene. you cant. the program just cant handle realistic reactions also cant mix the colours together, they just form layers.... wouldn recommend buying in full if youre hoping for a lab

Absolutely terrible, water "boils" out of flats before it reaches 100 C none of the acids dissolve metals as they should. Nitric acid cannot be poured into flask without immediately becoming nitrogen dioxide and water. Hydrochloric acid doesn't disolve anything. The list goes on and on and on. Terrible app, save your money.
