Sep 11, 2020 A very informative app on Disease and general health protocol. Could have 5 stars if it was easier to navigate and find information such as a search bar to find exactly what I'm looking for. -
CDC
Oct 15, 2020 The app is a good information source for knowledge and prevention diseases and conditions which may concern society, especially in these times. The app is easy to navigate by way of the side pane which takes the user to any section they want. Users can filter their information feed by way if what they want to see. The app can be a bit sluggish when going back and forth but the issues are few and far between.more -
Informational App
Sep 13, 2020 The CDC app provides great factual information that can be used by anyone. It provides relevant information for what is currently happening through out the world. One thing that I wish was more up to date would be their statistics. There has been great changes in health the last few years so more recent statistics could better inform our society.more -
The update fixed it
Mar 19, 2020 Just so everyone knows, the recent update fixed the problem where the links weren’t working! -
Works great!
Mar 14, 2020 I had no problem with any of the links. It pulled up the most current information available the same as on the CDC website.

Apr 11, 2020 I've had this app for maybe a year or two before the Covid-19 pandemic. It used to always be fact and science based, focusing on what you need to know to stay safe! However, recently the "articles" have been touting Trump's "strong and swift action" in dealing with this virus. I don't need to read a bunch of political BS before getting to the useful information and data! This is really a shameful decline and I will be uninstalling and getting my health and safety information elsewhere.more -
Apr 5, 2020 For "up-to-the-minute" reporting, this app is three weeks past due. The CDC direct website is easier to navigate with factual details than this half-assed attempt of an app. My google web browser lends more useful up to date info than this app does. When i attempt to navigate the app it sends me to the CDC website. Think ill save memory space. *delete*more -
Stop Uninformative Leapfrogging—SHOW US THE STATES—ALL the States!
Oct 30, 2020 My family is dispersed over five states. I want to know the big picture for these states. I’ve been recording the information on these states, as well as the nation and the world and doing simple calculations on rates of spread of the infection, since April 1 ( it seems like forever). A new bug appeared on about October 27. Suddenly I was unable to access any of the state-by-state data on cases, deaths, etc., which I had been monitoring for the nation and five specific states. A lesser annoyance is that Kansas gets away with updating its counts three days weekly. No other state that I follow does that--not even South Dakota, whose counts are lower. The counts are done on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday--no new information between Friday noon & Monday noon--when people might want to decide whether to make a grocery run. KSSHRINKmore -
Oct 7, 2020 It has a lot of information if you want to shift through all of it to find what you want. I can't find a search function so it is easier to Google the web for information -

Mar 31, 2020 I have found this app to be very unhelpful. The information can be found on any TV station or radio station with more accuracy. When you list the accounts of diseases, numbers and locations of spread the coral coronavirus 19 is not even listed. I find this ridiculous and I suspect Politics is playing a role. If you don’t report accurately the amount of infection rate it makes the federal government look better in their failed response to this crisis.more

Amazing
Apr 25, 2020 You can find anything you want here from Ebola to Covid19. The only down side is that I am young and find it somewhat hard to use. But it’s easy to learn after a while. Thank you CDC!!!! -
Thank you
Mar 21, 2020 Thank you for putting this App together to make it easy to find information quickly -
Jan 12, 2021 Grest app to get up to dste info on thr pandemic as well as best practices for curtailing transmission. Grest as long as executive branch keeps his hands away from thr organization and allows them to help the people.

Very informative
Sep 9, 2020 I think this app is very informative and has lots of critical information needed that you can’t find anywhere else. It is a reliable source that can be used safely and will not contain false information. -
Works so far
Mar 21, 2020 Downloaded because we are In desperation of seeking sane, truthful, factual advice. This is CRAZY! In Cali and been stuck in the house for six Days so far. Praying for all those infected and families of loved ones that have passed away🙏🏾more

Mar 7, 2019 Tried to look up vaccine schedule which worked so well previously. Could not access that without going to the web - then still poor. Yes there is a wealth of information. No it is not as useful as a now incompatible app. Sad. -
Love CDC but the app needs fixing
Apr 30, 2019 The app helps a lot, it is usually full of information and platform friendly. It is sometimes outdated but accurate. Good app but serious UI problems. -
Apr 1, 2020 I think it is a great idea and it's definitely one that should be improved upon. The app falls short in information and in many ways it's easier to navigate the CDC website. Local alerts and information would greatly increase the useful aspects of the app.more -
May 23, 2020 Disappointing. Not as useful as I expected. Doesn't show up to date info. Just info we've already seen 1000 times. Expected more from the CDC whom I've always respected. -
Jul 7, 2020 This application was good but I wish it would have a section on were the were the covid-19 was maybe they should work with Google maps to show the information. Like how the escort raider detector application live feed.

Apr 2, 2020 Has great potential. However, during a pandemic you would think devs would update the content occasionally. Covid19 facts and stats worldwide are changing by the moment. This app hasn't updated since I downloaded it early last week making this app pointless and not relevant. It's very scary this is the best the CDC can do with an app for the public.more -
Mar 9, 2020 It's a very confusing app. You see a topic and you cick on it and it takes you to page that does not continue the article and you can't find where the continuation of the article is. Considering how important this app should be it really sucks in getting the info you need...more -
Great app but completely broken for now
Feb 26, 2020 Really liked this app for news and guidance, but since I’ve come back to using it often for corona virus information, no links will open in articles. Please address this if possible. I would love to use it again. Thanks! -
Too buggy
Apr 9, 2019 Being an Exercise Science major I was excited about this app, but after being on it for less than 2 minutes it’s too buggy to navigate well. Needs quality functional upgrades. -
No option to open PDF on other apps
Apr 25, 2020 Although the app provides the option to view PDF versions of articles, it locks in the PDF to the app only removing the option to share the PDF with other apps.

What’s Groovy
Links within articles don’t open. There are lots of excellent daily articles. However, what should be informative content is hindered by links that do not open (in particular, the what you need to know about coronavirus one)

What’s Subpar
I've tried several times to get the app to open. All i get is a white screen. I've uninstalled and installed the app several time and it won't open.
