  • Made More $ In 3 Months Than Previous Year Feb 22, 2021

    By Biteme1000
If you bother to do research on bitcoin and learn the ins and outs, you can easily do what I’ve done. Not only does cashapp make it simple to buy & sell bitcoin, but it also makes it simple to buy & sell stocks. With one click of a button, $ is in your cashapp. Another two clicks and you can buy bitcoin & track it’s daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and all-time gains. Same thing for stocks. This app alone has helped me SAVE more money in 3 months than the previous year combined (and I did it in 2020 and the start of 2021 all during lockdowns and a massive power outage in Texas). If ur worried about bitcoin, don’t be. U literally buy, keep it in for a month, and I GUARANTEE your money will accrue MAJOR value. Leave it in for a full year, and you’ll more than triple whatever you initially invest. At 2 clicks, this can instantly be converted back to $ and transferred into your bank act. U DO NOT have to buy whole bitcoins (it’s over $55k at the time I’m writing this. Who has $55k?). U can buy a sliver. Think of it as buying a sliver of a gold bar, only Bitcoin gains value MUCH faster than gold ever has. You can do the same with stocks, but my portfolio is primarily crypto. But learn crypto by starting with the original - bitcoin! And this is by far the simplest bitcoin wallet available in the United States! It’s a life saver

I absolutely love this app. Money transferring is incredibly easy, and the app overall is incredibly user-friendly. It’s my personal favorite not only because it’s easy to use, but I absolutely love the discounts via boosts you can apply to your card. However,Something that’s hard when it comes down to the boosts is that the majority of the boosts I get are not for things that are local to me. My suggestion would to be pushing out boosts that are more universal. My top two favorite boosts are 10%-15% off any grocery store, and the $1.00 off any coffee shop. The app would get a much higher rating from me if those two options were permanent options that we could choose from. They are more than likely the two most used ones anyway. My only other suggestion for the app would to create an easier and more user-friendly path to customer care via app. If I have an issue it’s always “contact the merchant”And that’s stressful because not every concern that I have is always a refund. So I would’ve given the app a higher rating given that customer care would be easier to get in contact with. My suggestions would be either having a phone number that somebody can call, or an in-app chat for customer care. Overall I really love the app. It’s save me a lot of money, and I highly recommend it overall to most people. It’s my preferred method to handle my money.

I can’t get enough of this app. The service itself is better than that of PayPal or Venmo. I use to to send money to my son or split a dinner with my friends. I like the fact that I can send money to anyone even if they haven’t signed up with Square yet. The app is simple to use, swift and clean. There are two options for transferring money to your bank. Either instant deposit which takes a small fee, or the next day. Or you can keep the money in your account, and use the square debit card for any online purchase. You can even request a sleek looking physical debit card and use that anywhere. The app itself seems secure, especially with the touch ID integration for quick payment. This app has changed how I exchange money with friends or even new acquaintances!! I’ve even started using it to pay rent directly to my landlord. Welcome to the new modern era. Square cash is now my go to for quick payment transfers to friends and family Don’t forget to enter “HCSVPZG” on the sign up screen to get a $15 bonus after you send your first transfer over $5!!!! Enter it after it asks for your number. If you’ve already signed up you can enter the reward coupon on the profile menu if you scroll to the very bottom. Overall give it a try!

Cashapp is a SCAM. I sent $100 dollars to my landlord, and they never received it. And yes it is the correct email and phone number AND cashtag. When I clicked for a refund they even received the notification for it. But they never received any funds. I’ve been trying to contact support about this issue and they just keep giving me different agents and at this point it just seems like they're all bots. Cashapp is the most unprofessional app I have ever used and after this I will be deleting and never using again. I’m not the only one with this problem. There all several people who have been trying to find out what happened for months+ . They don’t even have an option to call, and no ones tried to help me in my issue. They keep sending me directions on how to “cash out amount” on recipients phone. Its a scam. You might not have a problem with it yet, but one day they will steal your money and not help you with it. I don’t recommend this app. Its so sad too because I’ve used it for so long and then they had to do this. They need a better system. I’m a young adult that works hard for her money. And for this to just happen? My landlord keeps asking where the funds are even though it says “sent” on my end. Horrible app!

I Absolutely LOVE this Cash App! There’s a Bonus I get while using this app too... It monitors the Stock Market & it lets you see how stocks by how they are performing or you can look up individual stocks & keep your own personal list to keep an eye on them! It also tracks the stocks that performed the Best Daily & Best Monthly so even if you’re not watching those particular stocks you can learn more about them! The only problem I have is when you go into the app and see you’ve received money from someone and tap on their name... you can send them an emoji to thank them for the cash, but you have to go to a different area of the app to make your deposit into your bank account or bank card... however you have it set up. I honestly hate this part of the app. I think that when you see the person’s name with an amount sent to you & you tap on it, when you are in that screen you should be able to DEPOSIT YOUR MONEY RIGHT FROM THERE, send a thank you emoji, keep track of your past transactions with that person, etc. without having to maneuver to multiple screens to do each thing. This is why I have given this app a 4 star, but in reality it’s a 3.75. It doesn’t bother me enough to change apps but it has bothered a few friends enough to have changed so it’s something I would recommend to your programmers.

It's a great way to get scammed and hacked, within 30 minutes of opening the account I was hacked at some point and within minutes of adding a card number it was stolen...and then wires were made instantly faster than I could do anything. Luckily I got it resolved after apx. 20 purchases most went unreported and unseen by card holder unless it posted. I wouldn't trust this app or any app similar to it and won't do this again. Good luck be safe and make smart financial decisions.

Cash App is a scam and their customer service process is horrible. Money was sent to my incorrect email address, customer service told me to create an account with that email address. I followed their process and the funds were never there or made available there. For a month I could never speak to anyone and customer service sent me in circles via email, but never offered to tell me where the funds were. Definitely reporting them to the BBB.

So when I first encountered Cashapp I thought it was the way of the future. I could transfer funds easily amongst family members and pay bills. I even had my job direct deposit my check into the account. Then my first hiccup. Seems the system shut down for the weekend and funds could not be used even if they were present. I thought let me find out what’s going on with the card. So I searched for a number to reach customer service. Found out there isn’t one. All correspondence is being done through email or text. Okay strange but maybe it was because they are a way of the future. The problem with that future is that text can often be misread or in certain cases the terminology used by email sounds robotic. So I let it pass. Just recently I was out trying to use my card when nothing would go through again. I’m checking app which is showing me there is a balance but nothing moving. Figured it was a glitch like before and I would wait. I check the app again and now it shows a new bank card number and has informed me(again by email) that my account has been closed. I still have a balance in the account but can’t retrieve it because 1 the account has been closed without warning 2 I can’t contact a customer service rep to talk about the situation. Smh. Looked up Sutton bank phone number. Nothing. Square inc phone number. Nothing. Needless to say I’m done. Moving everything over to Chime where at least I can speak to someone. Bypass CashApp and download Chime

  • Mobile deposit Feb 9, 2021

    By donkeyJA
Don’t use them and especially that mobile feature. They make you write for “mobile deposit” on the check but then will still deny it so then when you have to take to a bank they won’t cash it for you cause they think you already mobile deposited it when they denied you. So now you are out whatever amount that check is. Then when you message customer service they don’t even read your complaint. They just copy and paste a response but change the reps name on it and don’t come close to addressing your issue. If it wasn’t for so many people that I know that only have cashapp I’d have deleted them a long time ago. You get no help from customer service and they close your disputes without it being resolved so you have to constantly start over with someone new on each email. You don’t have just one person helping. It’s someone new every time and they have no clue but copy and paste some response that has nothing to do on ur issue. So don’t if you have a choice or maybe someone will read this that makes sense. I’ve edited this paragraph three times or added onto it and still no one from this company has contacted me. Not one on my issue cause they don’t care at all

Yes I would like to know why when you click add cash, as if you want to deposit money in to the app, from a credit card or debit card to your account why does it add cash then make a painless debit into your bank account or checking account? Now I have fees that can not be paid like several $28.00 assessed fees for overdraft protection.

Your company's customer service is terrible. Your email team sends cut and paste repetitive email responses hoping you will get so frustrated and give up. Your phone team is equally bad. I should've gotten a refund but they said is was a "computer error". The transfer and receipt of money is great, but forget about ever seeking any help they will ignore you. *Update* the Twitter Cash Support team finally sent the $40 refund to me. I recommend using them first. Thank you for handling this.

I know that a Pacific Merchant charged my card two different times and I was not able to get ahold of the merchant and there was there was no number they just kept forward me and then get disconnected. However when i reached out to you guys my money was refunded with in a couple hours. So thamk you for great customer service.

This app isn’t bad. It has a great concept of sending and receiving money with a few simple taps which I like. But about two weeks ago I sent my girlfriend $150 for a bill and she never cashed it out it just remained in her App, Cash App. Upon realizing she didn’t need it, I actually did. She used the refund button and it shows as refunded. I gave it a few days because I don’t expect everything in life to be instant. But I haven’t received anything at all. I’ve contacted “customer support” and they requested my identifier number as well as sender and receivers phone number and my cash tag. I provided all of it in an email response and i have not heard anything back from them yet. As I read other comments with this refund issue I realize it’s completely real and it’s ridiculous honestly. $150 just afloat with no information on where it is or when it’s coming or what’s going on. I’ve been trying my hardest to find a customer service number and I keep sending these “forms” that are supposed to be helpful. It’s shenanigans. So don’t use the refund option. P.S I still haven’t received my money, hoping developers will respond to this and give me some sort of help.

  • Instant Vs Free Aug 9, 2018

When I first started using the app, I loved the convenience of it. However, I’ve noticed that nowadays, if I get money sent to me, the amount of time before I can get the money for free - no matter what amount - is days later than it was when I first started using the app. My sister sent me a mere $48 on a Wednesday, and I was given the free option for receiving it on Friday, or in this instance, pay a .78 fee for instant deposit. Even before this particular transaction, there have been other ‘days later’ options for receiving money or I’d have to pay the fee to get the money instantly, and it’s starting to bother me. It just makes no sense. If it was a huge amount, I could understand, but why charge an instant fee for such a small amount? And why not just offer the next business day? I think there should be a required minimum amount of money before charging for instant access, or at least offer the next business day just like other apps do, and not 2 or more days later. Maybe there’s a rhyme or reason as to how you all decide what amount gets charged a fee or not, or how long before money can be deposited, but I can’t figure it out. Before using your app, I had been using Zelle and POP Money, but I thought this was better and switched over. Maybe I made a mistake - I don’t know if it’s worth it anymore. I can only imagine the instant fees getting higher and the wait time getting longer over time.

They charge way too much for buying/selling and you can only send 2k a day if there system is working. If not you can't send more than 2k in a couple days. It will say you reached your limit 4 days later. And don't expect support to help because they are non existent. UPDATE: Just kidding they respond with the information they have on the web already which didn't fix my problem.... This app just makes me mad... Good luck to whoever uses it.

First I loved using this. I use it as a prepaid debit card and monthly I have $100s of dollars that go through this account. However RECENTLY there have been so many issues with this. It’s as if they have a new developer and they completely screwed everything up by trying to continuously add new things in. But they have no idea what they’re doing. So instead of adding to the app they completely screwed up what didn’t need to be fixed. With them being an ONLINE only bank they actually have NO ONE available to even speak to. You can’t chat with anyone of their connection to the app is down, you honestly can NEVER call them for ANY issues. You can’t even remove your money from the account. I’ve never had this issue before and at this point it’s tiring and frustrating. They give no warning about anything and you only find out about reoccurring issues if you happen to go online to look for them. Imagine standing in line with purchases but your payments are completely halted and you can’t move your money out to even attempt to use another card or account. It’s been HOURS since the “bug” and known issue and guess what. Money is still in limbo somewhere. “Processing” but you can’t call to figure out even an estimated time frame of when you can take your money out or even use the card THEY issued. All systems completely shut down.

  • Poor customer service Sep 13, 2020

Cash App is a good app to send money and receive it instantly but when something goes wrong they have extremely poor customer service. Basically no customer service at all. Someone had used my cash app information at a Walgreens and I got an email stating the transaction was made but when I went to check my transaction history on cashapp it wasn’t there. I emailed cash app customer support after going through tons and tons of crap to even find their email because they have no phone number I was able to call. I have yet to receive my refund or be reimbursed for this issue. I haven’t even received an email back for this issue and it’s been a week. I did however cancel my card and order a new one and was notified that my card information was used again but thank god it declined after I sent my husband all my money on cash app to avoid loosing more. The declined transaction did however show up in my transaction history on cash app ... but the one that was able to be processed didn’t. Cash app is convenient when you need money sent to you for an emergency but I do not recommend leaving money sitting on your cash app because fraud happens all the time and cashapp is not able to help you if someone happens to access your card information or account information.

Good, but you never think it's gonna be you. My account was just hacked and charges were already made. Luckily, I unlink my card the moment I'm done using it. I do not recommend this app. Yes, it is fast, easy, convenient, but the security really does stink. Not worth it. Edit: 2 charges have already been made. Someone was able to open a cash app credit card. Like I said, I remove my debit card the moment I'm done using the app. I deleted my account.
