  • Sincerely appreciate virtual visits Jun 4, 2020

    I truly appreciate the ability to use the virtual visit especially with the Covid 19 still rising. I have had two major surgeries this year and I believe that the follow-up for the surgeries have been excellent using the virtual visit. With me being in continual post-op and my wife has an immune deficiency, we are very blessed to be able to stay at home as much as possible. I have shared photos of the incisions from the surgeries so the provider has a visual. I also have a Fitbit with a scale and a blood pressure cuff so I have the ability to give my vitals to the provider. I have the Atrium health tracker with my Fitbit so I have a 4 month record of my weight and blood pressure since my triple bypass. Thank you

    This was helpful and convenient last weekend. And tonight I couldn’t make up my mind about going to the ER in follow up with a possible spider bite. I have an appointment with my primary in the morning but had friends tell me to go to the ER. The doctor here went over everything and told me what symptoms would require an ER visit. Since I have to meet a high deductible and have no fever I wanted to make a wise decision and not delay care if necessary. The provider was able to help me make a decision. He increased my antibiotic and told me if I don’t develop fever I can see my primary tomorrow. All my visits to Virtual Visit have been wonderful!

    Overall, this app is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and be prepared. Take your temperature if possible, take a picture if you have a rash, etc., have all of your meds ready, and know the address of your pharmacy. My biggest complaint is physician follow-up. My insurance wouldn't pay for a mega pricey face cream, and my pharmacist was unable to get a response from the doctor about a new med. However, if you need something simple like an antibiotic, this is a great way to see a doctor in the comfort of your own home. The app has it's moments, it couldn't find my location to find my pharmacy, and it's currently telling me that I'm missing an appointment, but I'll take that over dragging myself to the doctor any day of the week!

If virtual options weren’t available I would have had to go to urgent care in the midst of covid19 which would have been very difficult since I am in the middle of a back spasm and in so I had pin it is difficult to move. This was the type of visit that is perfect for a virtual visit. Thanks so much.

    This app and its practitioners are the most wonderful thing. When me or my girls are too sick to go out we use this and I’ve never had a problem. I always make sure I have the most recent temp if needed and all the details surrounding my issue. You can even take photos and submit them before your visit begins for your provider to see.

    I would not typically do this in place of a drs appointment to make sure I didn’t take medications unnecessarily. But it is flu season, hospitals in town are quarantined for flu, and I have young children and an autoimmune spouse. So it was a better risk to maybe take an unnecessary antibiotic rather than risk getting and bringing home the flu. Dr was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Very satisfied with this option

    I needed a renewed prescription for a med to treat an existing health condition. App and visit worked great! Video call was clear, info collected was usual, straightforward, easier than writing everything by hand. Could even attach a photo re my condition. Would’ve gone to CVS Minute Clinic but this was way better since I didn’t have to leave my house!

    Yaw I highly recommend this virtual app! It has now saved me twice from having to take my 6 boys into a dr.s office so I can be seen! It’s so easy,super quick and the providers are amazing! It’s all around convenient and very useful in so many ways! Exp with the covid going around no one wants to go into a dr or hospital if we don’t have to.

    When you have the flu, the last thing you want to do is get out of bed, into the car and wait in a waiting room for who knows how long. I was able to be seen right from my bed by a caring, smiling, compassionate provider who called in my prescription immediately after the visit. Now if only CVS/Pharmacy could deliver...

    My virtual visit for my son went very well. Although hold times and call volumes are higher than usual at this time, our doctor was very informative and made every minute of the experience worth it! I am truly grateful and intend on following the instructions provided and getting my 4 year back to good health.

    I paid $49 for the doctor to tell me she didn’t feel comfortable prescribing since she couldn’t listen to my lungs so there would be no charge. Well now more than a month later they still have my $49. I have made four different attempts to get my money back and they can’t see the charge on their end. I emailed them a bank statement and was told they would call me back. That was two weeks ago and I can promise that’s the last money of mine they will keep. I will never use this service nor any other services of Atrium Health. I cannot imagine a large medical practice being so unorganized and clueless.

    After waiting for hours, the app crashed and shut down. Called tech connect, and was asked to try again. I waited for a new provider. As my visit was set to begin, I received a message “provider is no longer available.” Called tech connect, and representative stated the app crashes often. Urgent care closed by the time the second provider went offline as my visit was set to begin. Atrium is aware the app malfunctions, and crashes. I’m not sure if I’ll be billed for the visits, and tech connect couldn’t provide an answer.
