I find this game really fun, it has no ads, although I wouldn't mind some to support the dev, and the pay-to-win is minimal compared to similar games. It's not the most polished, but that's ok. If I has one critique, I would like more quests, and I would be willing to watch ads after every other match, or even every match, in exchange.

Why? Because for what it aims to be it accomplishes. It’s a fairly balanced and smooth load times (quick at finding matches) yet most matches can be immersive the better you get. The developers take risks going towards this goal. As a longtime player I saw the major updates which drastically changed the game. And honestly the change cost them players but I respected the fearlessness. The change grew on me and I appreciated the focus on its strengths. I think they could update more often and that’s why I held back a star. What they do well they should expound on. The experience during the game can be made better without a major update or a new faction. They could add more character taunts, randomize the character taunts to automatically do it sometimes so it encourages users to toy with it (i find it can help with ones strategy by making you seem more aggressive), the sounds or effects can be added. I’m not asking to slow down the game with to much. But the “sorry” button should be added back for moments when you forget to click the end turn button. These things encourage more communication between players and just add to the experience. But all in all great game. I’m not that good but I enjoy tweaking and watching my deck build.

Great game has great strategy, cartoon like animations, fun easter eggs and thrilling action. Bad part is it has bad matchmaking expensive packs and the worst part is its hard to get coins plus the only way to get coins is through quests but theirs only 2 quest everyday. I suggest adding more quest because that would fix everything again love the game thank you.

This game reminds me very much of magic the gathering. Accept instead of your health, you are defending a castle. And you replace the tabletop with a grid. The gameplay is addictive, the skills well balanced, and the quests have good rewards. I have been playing for years and am still finding new card combinations and combos. The new sets broaden the gameplay even more and I like that developers don’t rush releasing new sets between updates. My only complaint would be you only have six dialogue options to speak to your opponent. It’s quirky and funny but not very practical. And most of them are very broad and hard to convey what you are trying to say to to opposing player. It would be nice to have more options in talking to other players. Also maybe a clan or guild to join so that hard to get cards can be traded for, since it takes so long to build up enough shards to actually craft specific cards that you need for decks. Despite the few complaints and suggestions I have, I still highly recommend this game. It’s fun and entertaining, but definitely not something you can split you attention on with anything else.

This game is great and is in no way pay to win, I have never paid a single cent on this game and am rather good at this game, you can get access to higher tier cards through the games crafting system or through card packs that can be purchased with and in game currency that is gained through daily missions. Additionally if your card deck gets ranked highly enough you are awarded a card pack that will contain a legendary card. Also you can get ranked highly with common cards if you play well and use compatible cards, making it rather easy to “Get good”. Other than that the game is terrific and I could not recommend it more, ever since I first played it I have reinstalled it on every new device I get.

For those who complain about human foes with too many rare cards (from pay to play or freakish long play per day to get random epic cards) you can always play v the AI which has a standard deck with no rare or epic cards. The game has changed quite a bit in the last few years. The deck size went from 40 to 50, many new cards were added, as well as a new class of cards (druids). Also some cards have been weakened or boosted. So deck builds have to change over time to keep up game changes

It has been a long time since this has come out and I’ve gone through many stages of it from the point where all my legendarys were reduced to one and then lifted the cap and all of the currency system changes and the removed offline play I would love to see a predecessor to this game 👍 thank you Bitmass for bringing me such joy throughout the years with a game I can connect to my dad with.

i had played this game for a long time. like a love-hate relationship. they changed a bunch of things, some for the better, some for the worse, but whatever, water down the bridge. they didn’t really compensate for some changes that basically destroyed the value of the money you had put in, but again, whatever. the most aggravating „feature“ is the hidden pay to win feature. it works like this: spend some real money and you will get better cards. if you watch the built in „replays“ you will very quickly figure out who is cheating/buying. it starts like this: EVERY game starts with a 1g creature (g is there in game rare commodity used to play cards, you start with 1 g to spend in the first round and it goes up to 10 subsequently), you can calculate the odds of that happening quite easily. the next rounds will be the same, a 2g card, then a 3g card. maybe they get into a situation when only one card in their entire deck can help them (if you have played enough, you will get the concept) - you can be sure they will draw it. they magically draw perfect combinations, spanning multiple rounds. it takes the entire fun out of the game, its as if you were playing poker against a guy who sees your cards. 2 instead of 1 star because i like the overall concept.

It's a pay to win game just due to the fact that you can immediately get legendaries and epics in these singular card packs and yes epics and legendaries are game changing. Since they overpower all common and rare cards haven't played it in awhile though but I wanted to write the review because I remember that there was some good matches but the other half of my matches was just this guy with a whole legendary and epic loadout and I couldn't do anything against it.

Great game concept and visuals. However, there is one issue for players like myself who start playing the game. I went up againt people who had cards that I can not possibly get since I'm new. Would be a better game if the matching system was better so you would be able to go up against players with the same experience as you and not against people who have over powered decks against you.

The beginning was great. Lots of packs. Lots of money. But after the first 10 levels, u can only get 70 coins a day. Now, that might sound like a lot, but to get anything worthwhile, u need 1000 coins. In other words, 15 days of grinding for that 70 coins before u can get anything. Thats HALF A MONTH. It did not used to be like this. Add somehting. Clans, win streaks, anything that u can actually do besides play for no reason. If it is fixed, I will rate higher.

Great game, but the game needs a lot of work. 1. Leveling up is bad, 2. Unfair matchups 3. No easy way to progress unless you pay. Trying to get a card is kind of difficult. I'm almost lvl 10 and if I don't see any better features I might deletes. Update: the game is totally unfair, it starts okay but really not worth it. Draft mode is overrated.
  • Great concept ruined by time Oct 21, 2020

    By Citizen1882638f
It’s a great game in concept. A mixture of ccg and chess. However the devs built their profit model on selling card packs, and that went exactly where you would expect. Quit playing the first time because as I got up in ranks I just ran into the same few paid decks over and over again, as the devs kept releasing synergy cards and op units that made base decks worthless. Came back to give it a try and found it’s now just a competition between different types of trick decks. No strategy at all, it’s just about buying or grinding the right set of cards to insta win.

Used to play this game quite often loved the stat stacking and buffing aspects. Took a hiatus then returned just recently to find all the card effects have been tweaked and by tweaked I mean hard nerfed. Can’t run zombie stat buffing with vampires, witch doctors are so much weaker than the original model. Knight decks aren’t as potent with consistent healing. My monster deck doesn’t stack as well now cause I can’t buff damage and move distance. Y’all went in the opposite direction and I’m really disappointed

The gameplay is solid, the factions are interesting, and it is more f2p friendly than most card games. It lacks the polish of a AAA title but if you can look past that then there is a real gem here.

You don’t have to spend money on cards and castles to win- just learn from your mistakes on the board, and plan the perfect attack! I really do enjoy playing. Also, during quarantine, it’s fun to play against friends who you can’t go see! One thing I would like to change would be the amount of quests you get a day. I don’t feel that there’s enough. Thank you creators for this wonderful mood-lifter!

Best game ever, been literally playing it for years, and although I didn't like all the updates (mostly because they didn't allow me to easily win anymore) the game is ever improving and becoming more balanced. Seriously keep going its awesome. One of the few games I'd ever spent money on and I'll probably do it again, but truthfully you don't need to. You receive cards quickly and, though you may not use some, there's alot of variety and even a few cards can change how your deck plays. So many options. Amazing game solid five stars, just please keep the amazing work coming. I had a few thoughts if you were ever interested.

This game is so great and the only app I’ve enjoyed for this long, the simplicity and terrific mechanics behind the game are borderline addictive! I’d play this game so much more than already do if the creators would just make the QUEST SPAWN MUCH FASTER THAN THE 24 hour period to only receive 2 quest. The quest give me a reason and a challenge to keep playing the game, but I do love the game and thank the creators with all that being said!

    By hdhnsnciznencjzkennfjxiejnx
I think the game is grate but it does need some things for example some more Druid cards. Druids is one of the most under used factions and I feel like some more companion end spirit link cards would help increase its pick rate. I also feel like give me a cool if you could versus your dicks against each other in practice mode where the AI would play one of your decks and you play another so you can see how your decks with face each other. Anyways the game is really great even smoothly and I’m very excited to play every day.

I’ve been playing this game for probably at least 5 years by now, so I have had lots of experience playing. And so far I have three issues: 1.) Low tower health (I liked the game better when a tower had 30 health not 20) 2.)Hard start for new players (cards a difficult to collect although they have improved on this recently) 3.)huge rework(I have experienced huge reworks in the past that have rendered my good decks completely useless, but you will get used to it.

Reinstall this game after 2-3 years. Just to find out.... nothing changes? Quests still pop up ONCE/day? Scarce silver only 60-80 silvers/day. I love the game. But seriously just put some ads inside to get silver. Or give us more frequent quests/events. Last update 2018? Is developer still here or they all gone? Really want to know this game future. I give 4 stars now. Will give 5 if you can update something.

I like the game it fun creative and you make your own build. But the one card that I do not like and that the Viking card that freezes everyone near you constantly for two gold. And it so op for it cost because u can just sit there and have most if not my whole army frozen for the entire game while you build up or forces. And I have so many game where I will lose just to that one card. It really make me want to quit on this game plz fix it. The games has too many things that make no sense to me and I can’t deal with it anymore

very fun game, reminds me of hearthstone but with another level of strategy. i find it to be a bit frustrating at times though as i witness the other player attacking multiple things with a unit that doesnt have splash damage or rampage. there is a possibility of lag and i just dont see a card played but it makes a game feel cheated when this happens. edit: got logged out of my account and cant reset pasword to get back in

Got super simplified since this game realesed. It's stupid unbalanced, and of course pay to win$$. Don't waste your time.

It’s a great game in concept. A mixture of ccg and chess. However the devs built their profit model on selling card packs, and that went exactly where you would expect. Quit playing the first time because as I got up in ranks I just ran into the same few paid decks over and over again, as the devs kept releasing synergy cards and op units that made base decks worthless. Came back to give it a try and found it’s now just a competition between different types of trick decks. No strategy at all, it’s just about buying or grinding the right set of cards to insta win.
  • Updates erase stuff, and no asynchronous Jul 20, 2019

My family and I used to play asynchronous multiplayer together. It was a way for us to connect even though our schedules were different... now that’s gone, and it’s really annoying. Additionally, many of the updates removed cards we had paid for... its borderline criminal actually. This dev needs to shape up. I loved this game but I deleted it months ago Bc of how horrible the dev treated customers. Also, no offline is a problem to me too. There should at least be an option.
