I have to say, I’ve been impressed by all of this developers apps and this one does NOT fall short in expectation. There is some skill involved in playing this game. You can’t just spam cards and expect to win, which makes it so you’re not bored to tears when playing this game. Also, it doesn’t murder my battery life like some other games out there, I can easily play for an hour and still have a good portion of my battery left. Third, the graphics are pleasing and it has this charming simplicity about it (which is probably why my phone doesn’t die immediately). Overall, Great game.

Pleasant in small doses but it becomes impossible to finish levels - not because they are hard but because you have to do it in a single session and they take hours. It would be a great wee game to play for 20 minutes now and then. As it is it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth because I either spend longer on it than I wanted to, or I give up knowing my progress will be lost tomorrow.

I loved Dungeon Cards and now I really like this too! The different characters and weapons make gameplay very interesting. My kid can play a short fast game or I can play for hours for one game. Putting thought into advance strategy really makes a difference to the gameplay. I wish there's an option to save, or at least a checkpoint when you pass certain points. Hope to see more levels soon and maybe an achievement chart which can push players towards breakthroughs and increase playability.

OK game. No music = feels lifeless. No save data when you quit playing. No way to cancel your attempt to swap, it is like "touch move" rule so it is kind of hard to interact. But still a must try game.

Immediately turn off the "start next round automatically" option in the settings. It can really screw you over. But after doing that, this is a great game that gets a surprising amount of complexity out of simple mechanics. Every time I lost a round, I knew I could do better next time with what I learned.

Nice enough, but a bit frustrating. Goblins can suddenly get to 10 or more hp and wipe you out.

I love this game but it takes hours per level and it doesn't save if you close the game. I just lost 10,000+ coins because phone did an auto update and restarted my phone. I'm so disappointed.

Another great hit from 717 Pixel games and creators of dungeon cards. Fun relaxing pace.

Another gem from the creators of Dungeon Cards. Like it's predecessor the brilliance lies in the way deep strategies emerge from the combination of simple principles. If you liked the first one you'll enjoy this one too. I have to say that this one seems a tad easier, especially in regards to unlocking everything, for many this might be a big plus. Great work!

This game is a lot of fun. It has a simple premise, yet a good deal of strategy behind it. I've already sunk 10 to 12 hours into it, just picking it up and playing it when bored. Ads are relatively unobtrusive, occuring between games. I look forward to unlocking all of the chatacters, as each changes the gameplay up quite a bit, adding to replayability.

I love this game, and I'm hoping that the developers continue to work on it. It's more strategic than their previous games, but still very friendly for the mobile format. It requires you to really think about the consequences of your play, and one bad move can bring your session to an abrupt halt. That said, despite the roguelike format it never seems unfair, and there's almost always a way to get past seemingly impossible obstacles. Really looking forward to more content, would love to see a daily challenge. Right now there's not much to do but unlock the different character classes and cards. But there's a ton of potential here with a really engaging mechanic. Buy the ad-free upgrade, it's a steal.

Fun game! A good successor to Dungeon Cards. Here's my wish list for the developer: 1. The ability to change the active inventory item while the effect of the previous action is ongoing. Sometimes i try to act too fast between animations and it doesn't change items, which causes me to use the wrong item. 2. An option to make it not automatically progress the level when all items are used, but the card swap hasn't been used yet.

Pretty much the perfect casual, on the spot game. You have to think to get far, but you don't have to think too far ahead; all your descisions are right in front of you. Makes it easier to both keep playing and stop when you want to. Completely non-predatory. Only the occasional ad that you can make go away forever with a small, one time purchase. Easy recommendation.

As per usual, great game. I do have a piece of criticism: if I run out of cards, but I have a golden card available (the cooldown on the golden button is 0), my turn SHOULDN'T end automatically - it's happened a few times now that I plan to use it last on my turn, but my turn just ends before I can click the golden button, and it's a bit rage inducing if you're doing really well...

It's just Dungeon Cards but more complicated. Just get Dungeon Cards, this is just a more complicated version of an already below average game. 6/10
