PLEASE MAKE THE DATE *MUCH* LARGER on the "Good To Go" screen, so it can be read from >6 feet away. Otherwise, people will just screenshot it and reuse a previous day's GTG screen. App works OK but is clunky, as many other reviews have said. Reducing required scrolling and allowing users to set their own notification time would help.

The design is neutral and easy to use. My confirmation email came right away. There is a mention of seasonal allergies so the critiques of previous commenters are unfounded. It’s smarter to stay home if you are sick regardless of what caused it. University responses to COVID vary but hopefully this app will help with contact tracing somewhat. My only critique is the app doesn’t seem to have a “feedback” screen to show that it is loading. After entering my email I couldn’t tell if the app was frozen or if it was thinking.

PLEASE let there be push notifications for this app to remind us to fill it out. With the new SUNY policy, forgetting to fill out the app for three days in a row could lead to suspension. Not all of us will easily remember to push a few buttons on a random app we aren’t used to using. This app would greatly benefit from adding push notifications that appear once or twice a day to remind students to fill it out. PLEASE!

Awesome, easy and intuitive to use! Takes seconds to use and gives me peace of mind when traveling to and from campus.

Works as described, fairly straight forward. Developer seems to be actively fixing bugs and improving the application. What I would like to see is the ability to set my own time for the reminder notification, I work third shift so it does me little good to be reminded at 8am for my screening when I dont report to campus until 11pm.

This App could be helpful for colleges and universities only if everyone uses it. I find it annoying that it always notifies me to report my condition at 8AM every single day. Then, if I try to get to the App by clicking the notification, it would not open anyway. I always had to close the notification and open the App. Also, once open and you’ve checked the necessary box, you need to click the submission button several times before it works! If you want to encourage better participation in the use of this App, it needs to be quick and responsive! Yes, thanks for this free App and for the noble intention it was created for, but I hope improvements could be made to make it more effective. Thanks!

Lots of bugs. Will constantly refresh after you make your selection. Half the time it won't load at all and will take multiple attempts to load. Also forgot who I was and needed to enter my information again. It is useful for the college and needed for contact tracing, but overall is very frustrating to use every day when it doesn't work half the time.

This is a terrible app. All the complaints that everyone else has written about are true. How it refreshes after you click the button to see results and how it'll constantly ask you to verify who you are by sending you an email that you have to respond to. It's just extremely buggy, and you'll notice they don't even respond to these bad reviews. On other apps you'll see that there will be responses to bad reviews, but here they don't because they know the users have to have this app.

it asks if i am having different “new or worsening symptoms” that could be related to covid. news flash, i’m having new/worsening cough, sore throat, etc. because ragweed just started blooming. in order to come to class, millions of people will have to lie on this app, otherwise, we will have to quarantine because of a headache or something. This is a problem because most people who have covid symptoms are dealing with something else in their lives:hormones, allergies, stress, pre-existing conditions. Most people, when they start to get sick, write it off as something else. So either we assume we’re not sick, possibly spreading covid to others, or we assume we are based off the app’s quiz, which means quarantining regularly enough to lag behind on work and being isolated in one’s dorm On the second day, the app already doesn’t work(says “there is no rule matching the symptoms”) so how are we going to use this daily?

Each day I select that I answered no to the questions above and once I hit the button to see my result, it refreshes to the top of the screen, with my answer still selected. Each time this happens I have to scroll back down and hit the button again. Most mornings it takes 2 or 3 times, but this morning it did it 8 times, so I restarted it. After restart, it took 6 more tries to give the the good-to-go screen. The app accomplishes what it's intended for. That's why it gets 2 stars and not 1.

Signing up is really is. No need to create an account. Just use your school email address and answer one question each day.

Works as described. Extremely simple, straightforward, and easy to use. A little buggy, but certainly not app-breaking. I appreciate that it reminds me to use it every morning so I can get the "all clear" (otherwise I would probably forget that I had it on my phone)

The no symptoms option is listed first. This makes it so people can have easy access to it, but they also don't pay attention to the actual symptoms. If you placed it at the bottom, it would be more like a "none of the above" option and maybe help mitigate that.

The app works reasonably well and is a quick screening tool. Data control seems well implemented. One Problem - the options for no symptoms and I will not be on campus are mutually exclusive. A place for improvement - allow the reminder time to be reconfigured by the user.

The app has worked fine for me, but PLEASE make a dark mode. We have to log symptoms first thing in the morning and it's horrible on the eyes.

The app is kinda buggy— after I try to log my results, it'll jump to the beginning screen again, and I have to do that three times at least before it registers. Additionally, as an AFAB individual whose PMS symptoms match several of the ones on here, I feel like there should be a side not about that. I woke up last week with horrible cramps, but given my biological sex and the time of month, I knew that was likely my PMS, not covid.

Edit 3: app moved to a new server yesterday. Was told I'd need to authenticate, but app would still work fine. Well, I wasn't asked to re-enter my email and app never loaded today despite uninstalling and reinstalling several times and restarting my phone. Very buggy app. And a bit pointless, when it sends the notification 15 minutes before I start work (I'm already halfway there) and even if I already responded for the day.

This thing is probably the buggiest app I've ever used. I keep clicking no symptoms and the "see results" button and it refuses to log my response, happens on a daily basis. Maybe it's too busy collecting my data to do literally it's one primary function. 10/2020 works kind of now

  • Stuck on the Loading Screen Sep 3, 2020

It’s been 40 minutes and counting...still on the loading screen. Clearly, this app is not ready yet to be released. Also, every day in the week leading up to the start of my period, I have a headache and never feel well, but this system cannot differentiate that, which is problematic if the student is being completely honest. Female menstrual cycle aside, many students get headaches as a result of being stressed about academics, for instance. Moreover, allergies are a real thing that students regularly experience, as well, since the ducts and filters of air vents in classrooms are seldom cleaned; furthermore, some older residence halls on my campus are notorious for their black mold, vermin infestation, and poor HVAC systems, which can contribute to healthy people having symptoms which mimic the virus.

  • App is not good Sep 4, 2020

My campus asked us to use this app. I downloaded it, was validated in the system, and used it a couple of times. Then got a reminder notification and the app wouldn’t load from the notification nor from just opening it. I gave up on day 1 of this. Then it happened again on day 2; when the app finally loaded, I was kicked out of the system and had to reauthenticate, and the submit button wouldn’t work. I gave it several seconds and nothing happened. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and it still won’t load. Just sits there with a “Loading, please wait” message on the screen. App is deleted for good now. Sorry, campus.
